Title: 1143 Children (Over 30%) of 3765 Tested for Thyroid Abnormalities in Fukushima Had Lumps
Source: EX-SKF
Date: January 25, 2012

From Fukushima Minpo (1/25/2012) [Translated by EX-SKF]:

[…] 26 children have been found with lumps with 5.1 millimeters or larger in diameter, and will go through further testing […]

However, Shunichi Yamashita, the head of the commission and the vice president of Fukushima Medical University explains, “There is no malignant change due to the nuclear plant accident”

Of [the remaining] 3739 children […] 1117 children have been found with lumps 5.0 millimeters or less in diameter. But the prefectural government has decided they are “benign” […]

EX-SKF Analysis

[…] 1143 children, or 30.4% of children tested, were found with [thyroid] lumps of varying sizes. […]

It decidedly does not look totally OK to me, and the explanation by the Fukushima officials sounds suspect.

    @ Admin

Looking at ex-skf’s site and the link provided there reveals (if I’m not mistaken) that the 1,117 lumps were in fact LARGER (5-20 mm).

I’m looking at page 5 of the pdf linked to by ex-skf.

I hope im wrong, please correct me if so.

“But the prefectural government has decided they are “benign””…

Yeah, like having a banana stuck in your throat.

Are they saying the children are benign,…or the *cysts*?
Ahhhh, *cyst*,……that is how they almost killed me with my tumors on my pancreas and liver. They called them *cysts* for three years until it was too late.

This is pure MURDER to these children. The *cysts* are tumors,…wake up Japan!

The Japanese government is spending so much time covering up the truth and is finding that there isnt a rug big enough to sweep 6 reactors under. But still its so sad to see what we all know is “in the mail” as they say, that cancer rates are going to sky rocket especially for children. Why wont the government evacuate the children like even the Russians did, albeit reluctantly? What future will Japan have if 1/3 children are sick?

    • James Tekton James Tekton

      Hi Rep,

      You said:

“What future will Japan have if 1/3 children are sick?”

The answer is one everyone here already knows, NONE!

What is sad and ongoing is the suppression and outright cover up as you already know. What is it going to take to change it or stop it?

Maybe, just maybe when the stench of death is so bad all across the country that it can be smelled in the Philippines, and the sites of human decay and unburied bodies in the streets is so atrocious, and there are so many that are dying including royalty and politicians, banksters and media moguls, corrupt corporate law people, and a lot more of those who profit from this horrendously outlandishly supra-disasterous catastrophic extinction level event, only maybe then they will actually admit there is a problem.

The troubling fact is…by that time…one third to half of of japan will be dead and the rest too sick to raise a finger to do anything but slowly die. There will be no way to stop the purposely let out of control nuklear beasts that are killing every normal biological organism on the planet. (Re: Population Reduction Agenda)

And do you want to know what is really really sad? The Japanese people could have stopped all this madness, but at the rate things are going now, the pattern suggests that what we all know is inevitable.

We still pray for all those who were lost on that horrific day in March, and all those who will be lost in the coming future. May God help us all for allowing this sin of ignorance to accomplish the job of it’s evil master the Deceiver so well. (In Greek, the translated English word for the Devil is, the Deceiver.)

When it comes to the final days, it’s like “V” said when refering those who were guilty, “You only need look in to a mirror.”

    • I think we should be looking closely at children around the world as well !

      : (

    • Replacant,
1/3 children are sick and only the beginning of the horror’s and we all knew this and so did the ones that are responsible that are not being responsible !

This is a proof for the criminal behaviour in Fukushima! Where are the UN?! Where are all these religious, human rights, environmental organizations?! If less than a year after the accident 1/3 of the children have got thyroid problems, what comes next?! These children need save place to live, clean food, special care, safe air and water. The accident continues and no one has the right to sacrifice children!

    • James Tekton James Tekton

      Hello PW,

      You said:

“The accident continues and no one has the right to sacrifice children!”

You said the key word, Sacrifice!

It is as you say and the truth is, these things that call themselves leaders have been into this evil for centuries, and in these modern days, the evil sits next to good people in church one minute, and then attends a coven the next dancing naked around stars and candles painted on the ground. And how about all those missing children?

What is a fact is that most people will not believe this and yet, this evil is real and at the game 24/7 while most live in a world that is dominated by the drug TV and it’s master, the Deceiver as noted above.

Here again just for you is a movie that you must watch and fully comprehend. Any questions? Just ask for more clarity around this.

War and death to these people is a tickle and not only that, they make mass profits from all this wickedness and out right murderous evil.

The people have been told as they are now what the deal is and still, they do not listen and ignore the words that come here in actual print for them to embrace and understand. There is nothing that is written that can not be fully, logically, coherently explained and understood. It is the ignorance of quick judgement, the ego, the lavish hedonism that blinds most good folks to these words. Most of the world will never read this, many here will discount it all, and perhaps a few will know this truth.

They call money god. You know that evil is in the minds of man, not the natural things of this world. You can make the mind lie and be deviousness, but you can not make the heart do that. You will see man be cakniving and canevious, but you will not see a tree or an animal lie, cheat or steal.

Here is a video that does and does not fit in here. It is being shared again with YOU ALL to remind you that there is hope. It just might be a rough road getting there…and a…

Thanks James! I continue to ask myself why people are so blind and negligent, so unhappy and arrogant. Why we let greed and struggle for power ruin the best we all have? Why we do not see the beauty of this planet, why we do not value abundance we are given by Nature? If a human being has a healthy body, healthy environment and friends and relatives, what else should he/she crave? And when these basic thing are thretened, people should defend them for themselves and others.

      • ruth

Thank you for sharing thecrowhouse. It ties all of the disparate pieces together. As bad as Fukushima is we haven’t seen the worst that could happen. Hard to believe that there is worse than being radiated to death, but I am a believer.

The politicians should leave the diagnosis to the doctors.

  • arclight arclight

its all about cancers.. well not really.. thyroid problems are a bit more involved than the collateral damage cancers.. cancers are only a small percentage of the problems and a small (in comparison) issue when compared to all these…

“Thyroid nodules are very common. A nodule is a swelling or lump, which can be a solid or liquid filled cyst or mass. Most are benign, but a small percentage can be cancerous. So you should always have a nodule evaluated by your physician as soon as you notice it. An estimated one in 12 to 15 women and one in 50 men has a thyroid nodule More than 90 percent of all thyroid nodules are not cancerous.

Some symptoms of thyroid nodules include palpitations, insomnia, weight loss, anxiety, and tremors, common in hyperthyroidism. Common hypothyroidism symptoms might include weight gain, fatigue, depression. Some people will cycle back and forth between hyperthyroid and hypothyroid symptoms. Others may have difficulty swallowing, a feeling of fullness, pain or pressure in the neck, a hoarse voice, or neck tenderness. And finally, many people have nodules wiht no obvious symptoms related to thyroid dysfunction at all.

A goiter is an enlargement of the thyroid, and is sometimes used as a term to refer to an enlarged thyroid. The thyroid becomes large enough so that it can be seen as enlarged on ultrasounds or x- rays, and may be enlarged enough to enlarge the neck area visibly.

Some symptoms of a goiter include tenderness to the touch, pressing on your windpipe or your esophagus, coughing, hoarseness, shortness of breath, fullness in your neck, choking or shortness of breath at night, or a feeling that food is getting stuck in your throat. ”

cruelty to children, even if you ignore the cancer threat!!
drug companies, universities and oncology services must be very happy about this decision to get people back to the contaminated zone!!

    • arclight arclight

1143 children gives ONLY 114.3 children will get cancer but 100 percent will have some or all of the above symptoms!!

    • Bobby1

That’s what I have, a goiter… or I had it recently, it still gets swelled up occasionally.

When you go to the doctor, they irradiate you with X-rays, give you toxic drugs, or even inject I-131 into your thyroid. Uh nope. At least not yet.

    • aigeezer aigeezer

      Useful post, arc. Thanks!

It may help explain the coy wording attributed to Shunichi Yamashita in the article “There is no malignant change due to the nuclear plant accident”.

      He didn’t say “no change”.

… and the cause of the changes found has almost certainly not been investigated yet if the results are just being found (there is bound to be a lag), yet he pontificates his certainty that something does not have a particular cause. He offers no evidence to support that position, nor does he offer an alternative causal hypothesis, at least in the version that reaches us.

Since this seemed to be such a blatant whopper, I looked around a bit, starting with:

Dr Yamashita has said and done a few controversial pro-nuke things in his time, it seems, for example: “He claims that radiation exposure of 100 mSv/yr is safe.”

It slowly began to dawn on me… he’s the “smile” doctor, the “happy” doctor!

    • Mats

No, in areas without a lack of iodine most of thyroid nodules are maligne.

That is from the german wikipedia:

“In Iodmangelgebieten ist die weit überwiegende Mehrzahl der Knoten gutartig. In Ländern mit ausreichender Iodversorgung sind Schilddrüsenknoten insgesamt deutlich seltener, daher ist der relative Anteil bösartiger Knoten höher. Bei den bösartigen Knoten handelt es sich überwiegend um Schilddrüsenkarzinome, selten um Metastasen.”

      And it means:

“In iodine-deficient areas the vast majority of the nodes is benign. In countries with sufficient iodine supply thyroid nodules are generally much less likely, therefore, the relative proportion of malicious nodes higher. When the malicious node is predominantly thyroid carcinomas, rarely metastases.”

      Google Übersetzer.

And I think Japan is not an iodine-deficient area, especialy the coast are not.

  • ShutItAllDown

    Better translation of the chart:

The results of thyroid testing was performed at Fukushima Medical University

    3,765 people tested

    No nodules or cysts: 2622
    Nodules < 5mm or cysts<20mm: 1117 (56 with nodules<5mm, 1086 with cysts<20mm - therefore some with both) Nodules >5mm or cysts >20mm: 26 (all with nodules>5mm – none with cysts>20mm)

Those requiring a secondary inspection: 0

A good Engineer is always a wee bit conservative, at least on newspaper articles. The hole thing is falling apart and by the time anyone admits what is going on we will all have been vaporized. If you ask me, we ought to take these good-for-nothing storytellers and send them to the Klingons.

    • James2

A good engineer is conservative in regards to design.

In regards to observation – a good engineer should be aggressive, proactive, curious, willing to accept things that do not make sense and try to make sense from them.

If this many children in Fukushima have thyroid problems now – then there has got to be a huge increase in thyroid problems in the US as well.

Remember the maps showing US got just as much radiation as the area right outside the exclusion zone?

I’m sure the US west coast got pelted with radioactive iodine hard. In Seattle and Portland and Vancouver they have got to be showing large incident increases – does anybody have the ability to check.

Does anybody in the area have a friend or a relative who is a pediatric doctor or nurse who would give an opinion on anything like this?

    • or-well

That would help! Nurse blogs? I assume they exist…

I’m afraid patient confidentiality and privacy will stop most healthcare professionals from telling the sheeple it’s deady die time. I said this from the get go. Camp out in front of the hospital and look at the sheeple who are going in. You and I both know that they are gonna be complaining about their thyroid to the people with stethescopes around their necks. People still think they can cure something. Reminds me of the great flu pandemic of 1918, where doctors were giving patients bleach to washout their mouths with (what I heard, I wasn’t around to witness it). Bleeding the patients was another course of treatment. Just horrifying some of the stuff they did to reluctant patients. I can just imagine what they do in Japan. Poke and prod at your tumor till the thing gets inflamed and cancerous. And for you shills? Your survival activity of trying to keep people stupid is contrasurvival for them. I think I know how it happens. The shill coach gives the team the argument at hand. Then tells them to be the devils advocate after exploring the pros and cons of the current issue at hand. Fill all the dead air with meaningless chatter. And suggest ridiculous and absurd explanations and remedies. They have been turned loose on the good seals and sheeple of the world. Shame on them.

        Bark, trill or hiss
        squawk, moo or bleat-
        there’s a hunters kiss

        Billions of Krill,
        strained through baleen
        of the Hierarch whales-
        swimming through seas
        of false nuclear tales,
        thet’re maybe like sharks
        in a fast feeding frenzy,
        fastbreeding reactors

        with pilotfish media,

rough, but I’m loading coffee bundles

    Benign… based on what, exactly?

    /heavy sigh

O hell, i was going to expound on this, but i’m too tired. I was sick all of last April, (or course, we here know why) and i never really recovered, although i would categorize my current malaise as more of a soul-sickness. Anyway, all of these ridiculous, insane examples of deception, both self-focused and outwardly focused, such as proclaiming these thyroid lesions to be benign, really are starting to make me believe that maybe it’s best if the human race annihilates itself; maybe this planet can recover enough to nurture a race of entities that can actually practice integrity, in the time left before the Sun goes out…

Peace out folks, I’m gonna take a little break ‘fore i delve back into this disaster.

  • patb2009

i ahve a very good friend who is a MD in primary practice, he says to find adolescents with more then a 1% rate of thyroid lumps and cysts would be surprising.

To find 33% is shocking to him as a North American family practice physician.

He also says thyroid cancer is very debilitating to children and adolescents.

    • GreenParis

International statistics I have taken the time to read seem to usually be about lumps at least 1 cm large.
I know from what I have seen in France in the years after Chernobyl that there will be an increase of cases of thyroid cancer in Japan, and like here the government will try to hide it. But right now those lumps they found seem small. Could you ask your friend about the size of those lumps ?
