Fukushima fuel rods eating through solid concrete, ABC (Australia) by Mark Willacy, Updated December 02, 2011:
Molten fuel rods at the Fukushima nuclear plant may have eaten two-thirds of the way through a concrete containment base, the plant’s operator says. [...]
Simulations predict the molten fuel has eaten through 65 centimetres of concrete in a containment base below, stopping just 37 centimetres short of an outer steel casing. [...]
The operator’s assessment comes about six months after international nuclear experts warned that molten fuel could eat through containment vessels below the reactors.

Ok, so,,, partly speechless at what has come out and what’s bring reported all of a sudden, but all of this we have known months ago,, what credit do we get?? Nice pat on the back
All of this happened since the takeover of tepco? The new boss wants to save his ass in a way, he might of read some of these posts who want tepscum hung up high for all to see, even it’s admitted now it’s far too late, will there be outcry? I guess foreign people will understand and switch of first an the Japanese will still think and say “I’m fine because I don’t live in Fukushima and the earthquake has gone” and “what’s danger in Japan? Earthquake? Yeah we get many of them”
Next stage will be interesting as we all screamed for the evacuation of Tokyo months ago,, it can’t and probably won’t happen, the economy needs Japan not to collapse, although it will eventuate,
part of me feels ripped out as I’ve tried to warn so many people especially Japanese about what’s unfolding here , this is a global ELE event

“Koide [from Kyoto university] estimates nuclear fuel rods may be now 12m deep under ground at reactor 1-3. Only God knows about reactor 4.
“Melted rods can not be taken out for 1~2 years. One piece of the fuel rods is estimated to sink into the ground at a rate of 17m per year. Therefore, 2 years from now,they may be 34m underground….”

Very shortly America will be very limited in their aid to Japan due to upcoming war/economy/election needs.
If you want to get Japanese/Chinese/Indonesian people here-HURRY.
You have until June 2012 to bring Japanese people here at the very,very latest unless something major is done by the American people to extend this time frame.
Trust me on this. No one will be traveling except for emergency after then.
Make your guests as comfortable as you can for as long as you can. Start petitioning Doctor Without Borders to formulate health care diplomacy plans with the governments.
