Only issue I could see here is the city engineers wanting to inspect the bridge support to ensure it doesn't have structural damage.

I read that the ship pilots in the SF/OAKLAND get paid $450K salary, yet this is the second time in recent memory they hit the Bay Bridge. You need to be 99.9% blind to not see one of the biggest bridges in America. What happened to the work ethic these days….

The visually challenged (blind) folks I know would not have driven that tanker into the bridge … maybe if they were intoxicated ?

Alot of seismic activity in that part of the World with the Vancouver coast 7.7… (Hawaii had a 4.5 today)…. get a trailing seiche wave up the wazoo with something as big as that..
