Alaska Public Radio, Jan. 28, 2014 (at 4:30 in):

In the days and weeks following 3/11, cesium-134 levels were roughly equal to cesium-137 levels. It is highly unlikely that cesium-134 was detected in the seals from the 1990s. If cesium-137 levels were comparable, adding in the cesium-134 means the 2011 seals should have about double the total cesium levels than the seals from the 1990s.

In addition to cesium-134, exposure to short-lived radionuclides like iodine-131 were left out of the discussion. According to official estimates, iodine-131 releases from Fukushima were estimated to be 10 times higher than cesium-137. Iodine-131 is blamed for causing various thyroid issues in exposed humans. According to the scientists who examined these seals and walrus, thyroid cysts were observed — something that appears to never have been documented before in this area.

Direct is a gray zone term. There is cesium chloride, contact WITH radionuclides. This is different than Chernobyl, the toxins are not JUST radiation. There are the metallic toxins as well, actually IN the water. Never before on this large a scale, has this ever happened. Add in all the chemical toxins from the tsunami, and the quality of living lowers for all life forms. People need to think, but somehow other factors are no doubt at play here. Food supply may be changing. Duh, how many fish species have disappeared so far?

Did anyone catch that one of the program sponsors was a medical imaging center? Or that the guest said that the potassium-40 (that is so safe in our bananas) is more plentiful in the Pacific than cesiums, so there's no worry. This
'expert' Doug Dasher has made too many excuses for my liking for the worst monitoring response in nuclear history, i.e., Doug said there's not enough 'lead time' and 'freezer space' to expand monitoring in Alaska! Bananas, or foods at 1 Bq/kg, are not 100% safe. Someone is dying somewhere right now from the K-40 in bananas, no doubt. Health physicists won't ever admit that to you.

More important..they could not test for Plutonium (or uranium either I bet) because of "cost.' So why did the US government assign THEM to test the seal tissues?? Or was the guidence only to test for cesium? Getting the federal contract details for their work would be interesting..!!! If the contract number could be found, then getting the wording might show why only some items were tested for….

    Report comment

    • The issue is that if plutonium is tested for and then it WILL show up, then people will start asking where it CAME FROM…

      OMG.. we cannot have THAT!

      People asking questions about plutonium..

no, no, no, no… NO NO NO!

Keep them talking about bananas and cesium and maybe a little uranium, tuna, or salmon, but AVOID mentioning plutonium at all costs…

The cover up has to continue, so AVOID any mention of plutonium.

Remind everyone you meet, Fuku released NO PLUTONIUM. Nope, not, never, none, no, no, no.

Think I just answered my own question after reading the article again. WHY did this University get the task of analysis for this mortality event? They could not test..and EPA did not have any monitoring stations to provide information. The comment
"was no sampling or anything occurring out on the ice or up in that region at that time"–means all that can be said is they DONT KNOW. Projecting to Russian data or other country data is not very scientific. They are groping at 'reasons', excuses..they should NOT have taking the contract or the work!!!

Guess what? The evidence does not exist.

Actually, studies show that plutonium can and does cause these kinds of problems, and more..

But no one is supposed to know, so they have to keep covering it all up.

@TBP; Hello Big Pic,hope this finds you well. I'm sorry if I serve to minimize the obvious die-off's & suffering of species across the entire Pacific coastline at faster rates than is also apparent on the eastern side of the continent as can be seen in the example of the 25 pilot whales found dead in Naples Florida recently only one week after 8 of them washed up nearby as well, and numerous other examples abound internationally frequently & increasing post-311 while the human population seems to have been "weakened"(?) re; resistance to disease & pathogens of late with the scariest of fatal, exotic, untreatable diseases which seemed poised and dangerous enough even without "Fukushima AIDS" increasing the odds of contracting & dying from something our radiation-weakened bodies probably won't be able to fight off or recover from. I just had SEVEN people known to our family well die suddenly with 5 of them related to respiratory issues in the past 8 days,3 in one day!! :( I've also been finding dead birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc. that didn't have visible injuries that began & has risen in incidence since Early Summer 2011 and often read local newspapers, etc. reports of large numbers of dead birds & other wildlife that isn't well-known,but probably should be & also researched on,tested & have such incidents & findings documented & added to The Big Picture ;) Perhaps they won't be "baffled" by Pacific die-offs if they see how far 311 has & WILL go(?)! :( THANKS TBP!…

This is quite a remarkable conclusion2! With this sort of logic and research Japan may see a couple of hundred dead by end of a decade or two. Thus we have nothing much to fear from radioactive material. Fukushima becomes by this magical science a very minor event, and thus we can understand the fact that little is being done to monitor the event and do testing. Just look at the effects on the biota. The government has the levels of recorded. Just as they have every meta data, email, text, etc.

We know there was a huge event. Forget the "data." If you were excavating Pompeii or Stabia, would you want to know the exact temperature of the pyroclastic flows? How about the exact measurements of the gasses? Not necessary. Knowing the general nature of the exposures is sufficient to then look for signature illnesses associated with those exposures. Is radiation one of the causes? Yes or no?

Young marine animals are 1,000 of times more vulnerable than adults, just like humans. Look for thyroid problems, leukemias, Strontium-89/90, Cesium134/137 in urine and with full – body scans. Get NIH funding of grants.

Let's get 'er done! Don't allow private sources that have connections to the nuclear industry muddy the waters.

What can I do to protect myself and my family from plutonium?

Since plutonium levels in the environment are very low, they pose little risk to most people. However, people who live near government weapons production or testing sites may have higher exposure.

Plutonium particles in dust are the greatest concern, because they pose the greatest health risk. People living near government weapons facilities can track radiation monitoring data made available by site personnel. If radiation levels rise, they should follow the radiation protection instructions given by site personnel.

How do I know if I'm near plutonium?

You must have special equipment to detect the presence of plutonium.

      Hello Good Dr.

On the contrary, they who are responsible for this ELE are testing for it every day every hour every minute. They want to know how well the overall population reduction is proceeding. How well they spread this over the whole country, and then to laugh at the fact that people still have not caught on to how badly they were contaminated during that passover of the radioactive fallout in March of 2011.

They plot and plan the percentiles and statistics to see how they can profit the most, and in what region it is worse than others. All this is on a long time line to continue to commence with the outcome at this point in time pretty obvious.

One only needs remember the mutated sunflowers that came up that summer after the March 14, 2011 nuklear explosion. As most here know, it was so bad the head puppet had to suddenly take all his women down south to Brazil because they already knew the plume would overcast onto DC two days after it happened. At this point I would suggest that we all start looking at the larger implications of these detections and animal die off's.

      1. There is now a large group of people with compromised immune systems, particularly in the Northern hemisphere.

      2. This is a particularly cold Northern Winter.

      3. There have been reports of an H7N9 bird flu in China, mainly Hong Kong at present, and now an H1N1 swine flu outbreak in Texas. There are new cases being reported across the U.S

      4. We have large numbers of people travelling, and mixing during the holiday season.

All the evidence suggests it would be wise to,

      1. Fortify your immune systems, with good food and supplements.

(Clarification regarding “Fortify your immune systems,” I was referring to eating good healthy food, and taking safe supplements etc. Taking immune boosters natural or artificial for some of these flu variants can increase risk, if you become infected. An over reaction by the immune system can create a potential for cytokine storm creation. http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-the-cytokine-storm.htm Hence the need to do research on the subject.)

      2. Avoid contact with sick people were possible, plus avoid public places in high risk areas.

      3. Research methods on how to prevent infection, good hygiene practices, and disinfection techniques.

        The Toxicity multiplying effect.

A single toxin in the environment can be a hazard, and maybe an organism's natural biological defence systems can deal with this effectively.

If an organism has other toxins present radiological and chemical, to deal with at the same time, you get a biological toxicity multiply effect. The human or animal defence systems becomes weaker the more toxins it has to deal with.

System overload, fighting to many battles on to many fronts at the same time!

vital1 even worse the toxins can work synergistically . that is when they are administered together , their total toxicity can be much higher than just simply adding both of their toxicities.
For example if we would give toxin A to a group of 100 animals and 5 of them would die ; if we would give toxin B to another gorup of 100 animals another 5 would die .BUT if we would give a+b then instead of 5+5 =10 it could be 20 or 30 deaths instead.
So basically toxicity doesnt just simply add up but the totall toxicity can be much higher than expected .
imagine how many toxic substances these animals have been subject to .

So, his gang is allowing this self-created disaster to expand as rapidly as possible. That is why he will not accept foreign technical assistance nor, will he follow what the Russians had done to solve their problem with Chernobyl…they sort of solved it but, at least they attempted it with the right focus and tried realistic ideas.

If you truly look at the "motives and beliefs" of the people that control the situation, it is very apparent that the failure to find a corrective solution is actually the "goal" given the twisted beliefs of their leadership. It doesn't take 3 years to find a solution or develop a way to mitigate the danger of this situation unless you want it to be a never-ending problem.

At the time, Einstein was unsure if it was correct or not. He said, that it didn't matter anyways because the decision had been made by the powers that be, that we were to have war as planned.

By 1953, Einstein understood that Kaluza-Klein was indeed correct, they had determined where the free energy could be extracted from ("the plane of the dimension" between the 4th and 5th).

Physics from the time of Isaac Newton (1642-1727) gave us laws that said no more energy could come out of a machine then went in. The Hyper-dimensional model of Kaluza-Klein supplanted the physics of Newton. A new age of physics had begun.

Kaluza-Klein (1938) finally gave a theoretical basis of what was happening in over unity free energy machines. They had actually hypothesized it over a decade earlier. Apparently it was a so new to our way of thinking, for extra-dimensional mathematics had only first begun with the 4th dimension mathematics of August Mobius (1790-1868) in 1827. Theodor Kaluza (1885-1954) gave us the mathematics of the 5th dimension in 1921. It was understood at the time by only a select few. It took Einstein 15 years to announce to the world, that indeed, Kaluza-Klein had gotten it correct.

Even if the damned seal was glowing blue-green and pegged the counters at 30 feet, we'd STILL have to make SURE to mention the problem is "climate change" (not global warming), no matter what.

How hot does the pup be before RADIATION is the cause of his death?
