  • Time Is Short Time Is Short

    Sudden Death Syndrome?

Fitting location. Someone is trying to tell us something, and we're not listening.

I think the message is clear. Pile all corpses around nuclear plants until people get it that nuclear = death.

At least the grieving family wouldn't have to hear the absolute stupidest thing I've ever heard at nearly every wake/viewing I've ever been to;="Doesn't he/she look really good"?~WTF??!-NO,they don't look "good" they're friggin' DEAD!!! At least when the bodies of early victims still being buried for now in lead caskets are less radioactive than those of us waiting our turn in the foulness of the world engulfed in man-made radiation-the angry, heartiest of mutant survivors can dig up the lead caskets to melt down and mold bullets to use on the perpetrators when they emerge from their bunkers?!!-The "elite" nukesters wealthy enough to avoid irradiation at the levels of those they poisoned for profit might even be considered the only "clean" source of food for the "zombies" they already have tagged their victims as!~IMO TPTB latched onto the term "zombies" as a way to dehumanize the cold, sick, hungry & dying in need of care & supplies they hoarded so those not completely cleansed of their conscience or still having remnants of a "soul" left when they must choose between helping someone or putting a bullet into the head of a zombie or "eater"! They needn't worry 'bout me though-I got my own bullet with my own name on it before I'd ask any of them for a MF'ing thing!….

Will all those Navy people who were exposed at Fukushima, sent ashore or spritzing their decks without protective gear–when they all leave us due to rad exposure–will the navy provide the lead coffins?

These horrible nuclear plants must be replaced with safe technologies, solar, wind, etc. No time to waste.

I don't remember seeing any followup news about Brunswick NPP's big leak when some idiot forgot to tighten down the reactor lid bolts before firing her off. Did anyone see if they got the radiation cleaned up from the water spraying out from the core?

A 63 year old valve technician working for a contractor collapsed and died at Turkey Point last summer- he had prior health issues, they said later.-
I saw the company hire workers from 67 to 72 years old in order to fill their hiring allotment from the power company for the outage. I asked the 72 year old man ( working as a valve diagnostic tester) , what was that silver case on his badge lanyard?- "Oh, those are my nitro pills".
Thanks to testosterone patches we have 65+ year old men charging into the fray with 45 year old guys and pretending they can keep up with the heavy overtime schedule . You are bound to lose some of them when their heart gives out.

as these plants are aging, so are their workers.

young people wanted to be atomic scientiests between 1930 and 1950.
Since 1990, young people wanted to be finance people.

the Nuclear business has had a long hard patch getting new technicians,so they
have lots of old timers, and a few navy nukes. But they are coming out of the navy after
    20-30 year careers.

add in the operators stressing the work force as much as they stress the plants,
the people are dying as fast as the pumps and valves.

We're making a lot of assumptions here…that the guy was old, that the guy was radiated…what if the guy was speaking out? What if these deaths are a "message."

  • We Not They Finally

Seriously makes you think that this is just the first time they are REPORTING the likes of this. The third within the month? And this is the ONLY month in which that happened? Doubt it.

Really? I grew up as an ignorant antinuclear resident near a facility. Ironically, I worked a "summer gig" at one 16 years ago which altered my knowledge and perception of them. I continue to work in a nuclear facility to this day. Without legitimate knowledge and firsthand experience in one, these comments are ignorant. The fact is that the nuclear field experts ARE aging, and these deaths are going to occur as a result. The workers in their 60's and 70's continue to work because, amongst other reasons, they are typically Subject Matter Experts and have years of personal experience with nuclear components. These deaths had NOTHING to do with radiological safety, nor were they caused by the nuclear facility itself. Stop the madness.

    • I would not cry without electricity.

What you see as a dependency on electricity is a part of the fallacy that the media pounds into people's brains.

      :(
I do cry when I think of the idiocy of Nuclear Power and the 'unimaginable' risks we take with the entire planet and the unthinkable insidious damage we've already done, just to boil water.

      Thanks to nuclear Death Machines:

FACT: Entire 'huge' areas of our planet no longer inhabitable. These areas are increasing at a rapid pace.

FACT: No end and no plan for tons of highly radioactive waste. There never has been a plan, except to say 'we'll figure that out later'.

You are the one missmurphus who lives and works in a fantasy land.

How it is that you and those in the Nuclear Industry do not see that is beyond me. Maybe your paycheck makes you blind to it all? I don't know.

What I do know now is that the entire Nuclear Industry has been based on numerous lies of 'low risk cheap power' since the beginning. Numerous coverups of horrific accidents to protect those in power of the power.

We now know it's 'risks' are too high and the overall costs to the planet can no longer be calculated at this time. (ty – Fukushima, Hanford and the others too numerous too mention.)

How many former employees in Death City still believe the lies? That town and many living in it are experiencing the negative consequences, even if they believe nuclear power is 'safe'. They are dying, even if they believe the nuclear power apologists.

Invisible genetic poison pills are still POISON. Just because you cannot see this poison pill does not mean it is not there and not having an effect either on your health or on your genes.

Once your genes are affected, it means many future generations will be negatively affected as well..
