You have to look closely and at the right time.

Given that it’s easy to see that things are deteriorating day to day. I think it’s safe for you to assume fires are burning and make them prove they are not, rather than the other way around.

A little like a drug addict – you make them prove they are clean every day because they’ve proven they cannot be trusted.

We are all walking dead now.

Fukushima distributed an apocalypse. You cannot ignore the true data:

What I mean when I say that is: the 2800+ tons of nuclear fuel at fukushima represent a lethal and potentially apocalyptic contaminant for the internal poisoning of the whole human race. This would actually end the entire human race several times over…
            http://www.veteranstoday.com/2011/04/22/fukushima-2000-atomic-bombs/

            This already happened.

We are all in a theoretical line to our irradiated deaths.

Trillions of nuclear fuel pellets superheated alpha beta and gamma particles into vast amounts of gasses such as uranium dioxide, plutonium dioxide, cesium dioxide, iodine oxide, sulphur dioxide, chlorene dioxide, bismuth oxide.

These same gasses went aloft from sea to shiny sea. They embedded themselves into air currents ocean currents, and ground water supplies.

They distributed trillions upon googles of atomic particles into the ocean air and fresh water supply. However the main proportion fell into the pacific ocean.

Oceanic Air currents will re distribute the same materials deeper and deeper into our states.

you didn’t get the memo then…

New revised epa limits will produce cancer in 1/4 of our population.

                      25% = 1/4th

The radiation levels in our country currently are considerably higher than these “newly revised safety limits”.

This clearly show’s that the data alone suggests a 25% decrease in population.

                      That is the bottom line.

So in addition to continued bio accumulation.
with the additional knowledge that: acute leukemia cause death in 70% of thew affected (within a ten year period)…

Thats all you really need to infer just how bad this is.

Once the main proportion of the nuclear fuel is riding our coasts. (Which will happen within the next three years). Our entire national food supply will be affected. (which it already is).

However. This is the bioaccumulation rate were talking about.

Were talking apples that register at 200cpm or more.
                      Grass seeds.

                      oranges
                      wine.

Our entire national food chain will be near deadly levels or beyond in three years. No over estimation there. (they currently indicate a 1 in 4 cancer rate).

                      (were currently past those levels).

We are going beyond the limitations of mankind.
                      With all due respect…

Its not that going beyond our biology is impossible.
Its that the very significance of this reality; is a reality without our existence.

Actually, Tacomagroove’s statement – as to the lethality of this series of events at Fuku – may appear ‘apocalyptic’. But I feel his projections are only off in their timeline prediction. We won’t be seeing such numbers within three years but within five years, the stats will become incontrovertible; as applied to Fuku.

Tacomagroove’s ‘rant’ obviously exhibits justified outrage at some-much incompetence; an incompetence that’s being demonstrated by most-every ‘professional’ who’s tasked with oversight and coverage. The only way these horrific numbers will be changed from those that are projected by Tacomagroove, is if it’s – actually – determined that quantity of radiological releases from Fuku were less than reported. I for one, have little confidence in those who should’ve been reporting the real numbers and fear any reports to the contrary will be more damage control.

To give some hint as to the epidemiology of radiological exposure-events as applied to large populations, we need to see the overall event as being represented by a bell-curve: As time progresses from the initial event, those most vulnerable – fetuses, babies, young children and some adults (with compromised immune systems) will be the first victims. As time progresses, you will begin to see mortality rates increase for those with less-developed physiology (young children) who’ve been exposed (ingested) to radiological toxins. These children will begin flooding the medical ‘industry’ within three-to-five years time, but won’t be counted as ‘radiation’ victims until statisticians can confirm causality (as was recently done with the 14K deaths of babies on the west coast). As time progresses, the mortality of young and middle-aged adults will begin to ramp-up to what will then be panic levels. From this point on, there will be no means of hiding the cause and the economic impact(s) will begin to overshadow what efforts could’ve been made to offer any means of…

I read the following on Wikipedia so I tend to disagree with Taco. rant. but I also try to maintain a positive attitude vs doom and gloom.”The “hot particle” theory in which a particle of plutonium dust radiates a localized spot of lung tissue has been tested and found false—such particles are more mobile than originally thought and toxicity is not measurably increased due to particulate form.[91]
However, when inhaled, plutonium can pass into the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, plutonium moves throughout the body and into the bones, liver, or other body organs. Plutonium that reaches body organs generally stays in the body for decades and continues to expose the surrounding tissue to radiation and thus may cause cancer.[95]
A commonly cited quote by Ralph Nader, states that a pound of plutonium dust spread into the atmosphere would be enough to kill 8 billion people. However, the math shows that one pound of plutonium could kill no more than 2 million people by inhalation. This makes the toxicity of plutonium roughly equivalent with that of nerve gas.[96]
Several populations of people who have been exposed to plutonium dust (e.g. people living down-wind of Nevada test sites, Hiroshima survivors, nuclear facility workers, and “terminally ill” patients injected with Pu in 1945–46 to study Pu metabolism) have been carefully followed and analyzed. These studies generally do not show especially high plutonium toxicity or plutonium-induced cancer results.[91] “There were about 25 workers from Los Alamos National Laboratory who inhaled a considerable amount of plutonium dust during the 1940′s; according to the hot-particle theory, each of them has a 99.5% chance of being dead from lung cancer by now, but there has not been a single lung cancer among them.”[96][97]
              Plutonium has a metallic taste.[98

Hi Moonshellblue. I wondered about the accuracy of some of the statements you quoted from that Wikipedia article, so I looked up the references listed. The assertion that inhaling plutonium doesn’t cause lung cancer seems to come from a Professor (emeritus) Cohen. This is what Wikipedia says about him:
“Professor Cohen has been a staunch opponent to the so called Linear no-threshold model (LNT) which postulates there exists no safe threshold for radiation exposure. His study (had the) controversial results that low levels of radiation can have beneficial health effects and reduce the risks of cancer.”
Among other expert panels, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer discussed at length Cohen’s results then concluded:”The weight of evidence is that the ecological analyses of Cohen can be rejected.”
Sometimes fact-checking Wikipedia can be illuminating.

Here’s a tip – ranting about an apocalypse leaves pretty much everyone with nowhere to go. But if you can convince people that their children or grandchildren could eventually get sick (and this possibility can be proved quite convincingly) they might actually get involved.

Tacoma I respect your anger and sympathise with it. But we need to appear moderate so as not to drive off potential allies. Unless of course you actually believe what you are saying, in which case what is the point of further action or discussion?

They’ve got sealed reactor cores sitting on the bottom of a corrosive ocean just waiting for the day they rot through and release their deadly contents into the ocean. Never talk about that, though, do they?

Is it unbelievable to see this one single article, and know that something 10,000,000,000,000,000 times as bad has been going on for 9 months and hasn’t ever been reported?

a nuclear submarine has about 1/4 ton of nuclear fuel onboard. Fukushima has several hundred tons of fuel burning right now.

I’m truly awed at how stupid the MSM is…

Nope, not stupid. They can now say “look, we had this terrible fire and still avoided any reactor releases! How can you say nuclear isn’t safe?” It is truly inspired media manipulation. If they only put 1/10th the effort into containment, they might have actually accomplished something by now.

But hey, this Sub is Russian and Russians are evil by definition. Their nuclear technology is unsafe to the bone!!111!!!

While the others are clean, good and soooo safe!

tomb: I like sarc. at times. To add, Yeah the Russians, who had arguably the very best grade school educational system on the planet at least through 1989, make inferior military hardware, infrastructure and material compared to NATO, the oceans are safe because they’re so enormous, they’ll totally dilute the products of any number of melted down nuclear cores. Of course, being militaries, covert orgs, multinational corporations, they’ll empower the public with transparent good-will sharing of all information we need to make decisions about whether or not to undermine and terminate the extant systems…(all sarc., forgive me) lol

Dear James: Or, at Fukushima Dai Ichi, there may not only be several hundred tons of corium, but there is the potential for multiple thousands of tons if the common spent fuel pool somehow melts down.

Dr. Agreed. I don’t think it’s a foam fire either. How would the foam be ignited? I ask myself. Faulty wiring I guess. There’s lots of plausible excusey wiggle room in this one so far. It’ll be interesting to see what leaks out, uh, in terms of information.

seriously why are they shooting water up into the air onto a platform which is high above the water, when a submarine sits low in the water?

    Report comment

  • BreadAndButter BreadAndButter

As far as I know, those nuclear submarines are completely mantled in a sort of micro-pore foam stuff to allow them to sneak under the radar. Apparently this stuff has caught fire, as it normally doesn’t have to be fireproof (for obvious reasons).

    Report comment

    • tomb1

Correct. The fire is not inside the submarine, it is outside of the steel hull. This is why they keep personnel in it.

    • aigeezer aigeezer

      That seems credible, B&B. Thanks!

Are we guessing that the inner hull can resist heat transfer enough to keep the crew safe inside?… Could well be, if it can insulate against Arctic waters. Breathing systems would be sealed if hatches were sealed. Batteries could keep everything going without engines or shorepower…

I’m starting to think they may be telling the truth about crew active inside, no radiation issues, and so on. The video made that seem impossible at first glance.

I can’t resist adding that in the present climate of mistrust of all things nuclear… it may still be spin.

Many Russian submarines have a doulbe hull. Between the hulls may be a distance of several meters, the space inbetween again filled with isolating foam.
This helps them resist artic water as well as nearby explosions. And it isolates sound to make them very difficult to locate.

Gee, I wonder why they had to hose the submarine from so far away. I also wonder why the sub eventually had to be submerged to extinguish the fire. Does this sound familiar, the drowning of a nuclear reactor?

Dear Pallas, I would think that the site is not accessible too easily with the firetrucks, and I think there were also highly toxic fumes from the burning foam mantling…

if all these accidents are random and that is a big if..
in certain elite circles it must be seen as an early 2012 population control bonus.
what a sick world physically and morally.
how does one explain the many recent news items about secret government labs mutating different deadly versions of the flu virus hn51.

we have government controlled top secret military labs making this stuff that will kill 100s of millions.
then press releases are put out via friends in the bbc .

raising fears of possible terrorist use if data on it is published, experts said
There is a serious possibility of information being misused if the full genetic sequence of the mutated virus were to be published in open scientific literature, they said.
“There are areas of science where information needs to be controlled,” a scientist with the U.S. National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity said. “The most extreme examples are, for instance, how to make a nuclear weapon or any weapon that is going to be used primarily to kill people. The life sciences really haven’t encountered this situation before. It’s really a new age.”

if something is top secret and has been invented behind closed doors.
what is the agenda behind a press release and who is giving the press the information.

Some of the marine life got the message – the whales are already back in Hawaii – over a month early – saw ‘em last week. No problems with the fish, turtles, dolphins or other wildlife other than the ‘usual’ runoff from GMO crops/fertilizers and pesticides into the reefs…

might also be the water temp. Seems colder this year here = even colder up north, which might contribute to the whales making it down south here earlier. I feel so very sorry for our big (and smaller) friends ..

And yes, I agree with so many comments above, that with human means (of our current level of consciousness and technology) the environmental apocalypse on many ends is NOT solvable anymore – 5 minutes past the hour .. we ARE now dependent on some kind of miracle (well actually miracleS). Since 2012 will be ‘the end of the world as we know it’, let’s hope and pray we qualify for a turn to the better asap ..

I have been lurking here at ENE News off and on…sometimes trying to get back to whatever normal might be; sometimes looking directly into the horror before us. I honor all of you who have done so much on so many threads to educate me and others about our dire situation.

If you Google “russian submarine arctic” you will find fairly thorough coverage of the topic of this thread – the Internet at its best, perhaps.

If you Google “russian ship antarctic” you will find fairly thorough coverage of a different story, namely a fishing boat that got in trouble and was repaired – again, perhaps the Internet at its best.

I watch CNN fairly regularly (not for news, but rather to see what the spin du jour might be). CNN covered the fishing boat story. They covered it lightly, but they did not ignore it. So far, to the best of my knowledge, they have not said a word about the submarine story!

This pattern is typical. What they find to be news is not what “we” find to be news. We tend to think they are doing bad things, such as cover-ups or industry favoritism, and perhaps they are.

The explanation may be less sinister though. Some years ago I found evidence of political dirty tricks and called a newspaper editor friend to give him my “scoop”. He amazed me by saying “a story of political corruption in your area is not news”. From his point of view, it was routine – it wouldn’t sell newspapers.

So… I’m left thinking that it doesn’t matter whether mainstream media are doing what they do for innocent reasons or because of some evil conspiracy with the nuke industry. I will just treat them as irrelevant to my needs and I will get my news elsewhere. If enough people do that, the msm will evolve or perish.

Suggestion to self and others: whenever we post something on an Enenews thread (such as this one), let’s be sure we cover the topic better than CNN does.
