Title: Radioactive groundwater detected at Va power plant
Source: AP
Date: Feb 22, 2012

  • Dominion Virginia Power is seeking the source of leaking radioactivity at its North Anna nuclear power plant
  • Elevated level of tritium was detected in groundwater
  • Company spokesman [says] two reactors aren’t the source of the leak
  • Tritium in water taken from an on-site sampling well was more than twice the federal standard for drinking water
  • [Nuclear Regulatory] commission says the radiation isn’t a hazard to the public

Of course the plant owners are correct and the tritium couldn't possibly have leaked from their nuclear plant!

    SP:

The tritium came down on an alien spaceship when they purged the aliens emptied their pee-pee toilets.

Sheesh… I thought everybody knew that's how radioactive tritium ends up in earth ground water sources!

The fricking aliens! Blast them out of the sky the next time they hover over that innocent nuclear plant!

If radiation isn't a hazard, why bother encasing the reactors? Or look for the source of the leak?

Next thing they'll be telling us is that nuclear weapons don't kill either; they just sprout petunias.

And all the filters in the world can't separate water from water…

When the company spokesman pips "We didn't do it", and they have the only two reactors around, it raises the perfect question:

Regarding anything that can destroy an area the size of two western states, be that a reactor, or a SPF, should any person or company be in charge of such a thing?

The answer is NO, HELL NO!

Somebody with the GIS ought to copy, adjust to size, and paste over North Anna, the Chernobyl or the Fukushima heavily contaminated soil map. Maybe seeing DC uninhabitable would wake up some stupid Congressmen, Senators, maybe a few of their Federal Reserve banker masters, too.

I suppose Fed masters break down into two camps:
        1) Those wishing to see most of America a wildlife only zone like around Chernobyl.
        2) Those who would want to protect the assets they own (probably about everything in a given area).

Maybe the latter hold sway over the former, and maybe the latter will actually see to it that reactors are shut down, that SPF contents are deradiationized by Brown's Gas, and the whole threat to their assets is eliminated.

They don't care they would just retreat to their special bunkers but for those of us not in the club, we get the infamous TS slip.

That the result we see and think of as a deadly mushroom cloud, is actually and should be thought of symbolically as a pretty, harmless flower, a petunia if you will.

If the source of the leaking radiation can be traced back to anything related to the earthquake – then the NRC folks who approved the restart, and the company executives who ordered the restart have committed a felony – by not properly insuring the public safety in accordance with 10CFR part 50 Appendix S, which states:

    I. Introduction
    (a) Each applicant for a construction permit, operating license, design certification, combined license, design approval, or manufacturing license is required by §§ 50.34(a)(12), 50.34(b)(10), or 10 CFR 52.47, 52.79, 52.137, or 52.157, and General Design Criterion 2 of appendix A to this part, to design nuclear power plant structures, systems, and components important to safety to withstand the effects of natural phenomena, such as earthquakes, without loss of capability to perform their safety functions. Also, as specified in § 50.54(ff), nuclear power plants that have implemented the earthquake engineering criteria described herein must shut down if the criteria in paragraph IV(a)(3) of this appendix are exceeded.
    (b) These criteria implement General Design Criterion 2 insofar as it requires structures, systems, and components important to safety to withstand the effects of earthquakes.

They were informed before the restart that they would be watched. Now it's time to pay the piper.

I hope we can get good information.

Temblor rattles New Madrid earthquake zone in Missouri
By Bruce Olsen | Reuters – 22 hours ago

ST. LOUIS (Reuters) – A small earthquake centered in the New Madrid Seismic Zone in southeastern Missouri was felt in several states in the Midwest early on Tuesday but no damage or injuries were reported, authorities said.
The 4.0 magnitude quake was centered about 9 miles east-southeast of Sikeston, Missouri, and hit at 3.58 a.m. Central Time, U.S. Geological Survey spokesman Don Blakeman said.

Anthony sez: "small earthquake centered in the New Madrid Seismic Zone in southeastern Missouri was felt in several states in the Midwest"

SP: Small potatoes for the frackers…just a warmup for the big one.

Fracking industry report of this event: "Despite the coincidence of having ten simultaneous fracking operations within 1500 yards of the epicenter of today's earthquake there is no connection to our smashing through the earth's crust with our cesium-tipped drilling bits today"

"However our alert crews did spot an alien space craft inserting a downspout into a nearby crevice and we have reliable information they were injecting hot alien pee-pee at an enormous pressure. This Unauthorized Potty Output (or UPO) was reported and we have asked for Stinger missiles to be allocated to our drilling hands. Further UPOs will be dealt with severely. That is all."
