Title: A Fukushima citizen proved monitoring post was manipulated
Source: Fukushima Diary
Date: March 14, 2012

Mr. Ito Nobuyoshi, a Fukushima farmer compared the radiation level of a monitoring post to the one of a different place, and found a recognizable gap of the radiation level.

Because those 2 places are only 5 m away from each other, this proves the monitoring post was “decontaminated” to make the radiation level look lower than actual at least in Iidate mura.

Tweets from @nobuitou8869 translated by Fukushima Diary

Today I measured the sand underneath the monitoring post of MEXT with a gamma ray survey meter. It was 0.6μSv/h.

Measured radiation level at the place where is only 5m away from the monitoring post. On the ground, it was 5.52 μSv/h (↑920%), at 1m above the ground, it was 1.19 μSv/h (↑198%). Now it’s clear that MEXT changed the sand around the monitoring post. Why do they do such a thing ? They are fooling us.

There is a map sculpted on the stone in front of a community hall. It was 3.40 μSv/h.

On the root of a tree nearby, it was 15.4 μSv/h.

This is the parking lot in front of the community hall after “decontamination”. It was 15.3 μSv/h. It’s been where they put contaminated soil from decontamination temporarily. The parking lot for police cars nearby was 8.02 μSv/h, which is about half of the 15.3, but still it’s high. Decontamination is proven to be meaningless.

Title: Monitoring post manipulated

Emphasis Added

Mr. Hasegawa, a cattle farmer from Iidate mura states the monitoring post data of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is manipulated.

On 2/20/2012, he held a press conference for his publishing the book titled “Having my hometown taken away by the nuclear.” In this conference, he stated, last November, Taisei corporation, which was outsourced for decontamination by the government, had 10 of their employees wash the monitoring post by high-pressure water and changed the whole soil of the base.

According to MEXT, the radiation level of Iidate mura in 2/20 was 0.755 microSv/h. However, another monitoring post was showing 3 microSv/h.

Additionally, on 3/14, when reactor 3 exploded, the dosemeter in town councilor was showing 40 microSv/h, but the staff of town hall told him not to tell it to anyone because the town mayor forbids it.

Assistant professor Imanaka from Kyoto university checked the radiation level around in the town late in March but the town mayor requested him not to disclose it either.

Mr. Hasegawa talks, public bureaucrat from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is following after the town mayor for town hall, press conference and anywhere. Now all the media needs his permission to contact with the town mayor. [...]

This lie was so easy to uncover. You would think they would be smarter than this. Every time the government gets caught downplaying the disaster it just makes the people less cooperative. If they don't start playing it straight with their own people, they are going to have a revolution on their hands.

    Thank you, Mr. Hasegawa.

    Just today at NRC hearings:

    1. Commissioner Magwood said about Fukushima there are:

"…no expected fatalities resulting from the nuclear incident."

    2. Commissioner Ostendorff said there were no deaths from nuclear power plants in the U.S.

      Lyrics:

You told me you loved me
      so i don't understand
why promises are snapped in two
and words are made to bend (the bigger, the better)

      some stolen from japan
      collected from around the world,
they'll catch you if they can

      (chorus) lies lies lies yeah
      lies lies lies yeah
      lies lies lies yeah

do i have to catch you out
to know what's on your mind
      well, cleopatra died for egypt,
      what a waste of time

      white ones and red ones
      and some you can't disguise
twisted truth and half the news
can't hide it in your eyes

      (REPEAT CHORUS)

      you say you'll try harder
but i think it's just too late well,
the car is revving in the drive,
and i'm not the sort to wait

      the bigger, the better
      some nicked from old saigon
      collected from around the world
      love lies on and on
and on and on and on and

lies lies lies yeah (they're gonna get you)
lies lies lies yeah (they won't forget you)
lies lies lies yeah (they're gonna get you)
      lies lies lies yeah
      oh you know i know

      (REPEAT CHORUS)
