If there are aliens controlling us, there may be a need to change us to make us more suitable as food for them;
Their world is highly radioactive, so they must gradually up the dose of radiation in all living things on a global basis, through oil, coal, tobacco, nuclear spills, accidents, military, 'health' Xray, CT scans, food/water radiation and other means.
The end result will be a weak and sick human race, highly contaminated with very spicy and delicious radiation that aliens need to prosper and thrive, while feeding off of us. The more radiation the better, in their view.
Aliens must be put in positions of power to 'control' what happens, and minimize the bad news.

I'm usually *right with ya* AGreenRoad but I cant believe we are the only lifeforms in the whole universe!
I found this on the Roswell Alien event online, and while I do not know if it is a true testament, I have to admit, I am more inclined to believe its accounting of alien beings than completely discounting it because I cant see them with my own eyes.

There are way too many alien sightings and reports, as well as videos from highly credible sources to believe without any doubts that aliens do not exist and have never visited us.
Who knows, aliens may even be living among us…
Sometimes reality is stranger than even the wildest fiction..
Stay open, as anything is possible.
Regarding the video above, it sure sounds like the Japanese are starting to get into the FEELINGS and empathizing with the victims of this disaster.
To see this opening from the purely mental to the emotional processing of grief, anger, etc., provides some hope.
When TEPCO starts to show some emotion and empathy, that is when we will know true progress has been made.
Theory; it is very hard to lie, deceive and cover up while keeping the heart open and talking about true feelings, while also feeling the pain of others…

Aliens do exist, and do walk among us in secret. But they are not the ones pushing nuclear power. They are also not at all what you think of as 'aliens.' You already know enough to work it out.
They find human foolishness very sad. They also do what they can, to prevent humans turning the planet into radioactive slag in a large scale nuclear war. (Which is why there's been none yet.) Making sure they have the capability to neutralize nuclear warheads in flight and in silos (which they do, frequently) is just part of that.
But by their own moral laws, they cannot, must not interfere in human affairs, in any way that would make their own true nature and existence public knowledge. Because to do so would destroy 'the human story' and contaminate human progression on the path of development, just as surely as the radioactive death of Earth would.
Now humans have really upped the stakes, since you… I'm sorry, _we_, have a limited time to solve the Fukushima problem (which is actually a matter of broken political systems, unworkable for a society possessing planet-killing technology) before creeping radioactive contamination erases all future potential for your species.
I'm sorry to say, you have to solve this on your own.
Consider it a test of worthiness.
If you fail, you die, and none will ever know what could have been.

There could be life outside this earth. If there is, I believe they are highly intelligent. I also believe that if this is the case, they could be living here.
We have grown in knowledge very quickly in the last 100 years, we could have gotten help with the medical advancements and technology that we have today.
If this is the case, would this knowledge that they gave us, be for the betterment of this planet and for us, or would we be experiments?
Could they have given us the knowledge of radiation/nuclear power? If they did, then I would say they are not here to make this world a healthy and safer world for us to live in.
If they are here and know how to deal with a disaster like this, and they are not helping, then they are also just as destructive as those who built these monsters.
It might be hard to believe, but there are many who want peace, and a world that is healthy to live in. It makes me cry when anyone is mistreated or hurt in anyway. This radiation is hurting us all.
There are good people and not so good people here. Wouldn't they also have different personalities?

Like I said There are good people and "not so good" people here.
There is Good and Evil..
Not everyone here is good (wish that was the case)
I believe the devil is working over time creating havoc swaying people away from God and from people doing what's right.
We all are sinful, so it's easy to be swayed.
