I posted a couple of things there including the nasty NILU private forecast of the plumes, done in March and April 2011.

If anyone hasn't seen these yet, you really need to have a look at these plume maps!

Thanks HoTaters,…I had one typo to Billy boy, and you nailed it,..I called them "Flume maps". Duh,…gotta love me! Thanks for covering that with Billie Boy,…not that it will do too much good, I'm afraid!

Boy, I sure look forward to the day in which the political litmus test is Nuke/No Nuke rather than Same-Sex Marriage or (heaven help us)"a woman's right to choose"
(Personally I wish some demo PR genius could get that changed to "a woman's right to collaborate"….too scientific, hugh?)
Too bad we had F- the whole planet to get close to that reality. TALK ABOUT PRO-LIFE !!!!!

Don't know what should be wrong with "a woman's right to choose", though

Hey Bill
Wake up and tell US hoe the USA would pay for a Trillion Dollar Eco-Disaster like Japan now has since Nature can destroy any land based nuclear reactor, any place anytime 24/7/365!
Lets use San Onofre in CA as an example:
Why are the repair "details" being with held from the public?
Why is the Press not demanding a daily inspection tour and update?
Why should we "trust" the operator whose main goal is to get these
… Reactors "on line" ASAP when they have the worst track record of
… Any operators in the USA? http://wp.me/P1YIeo-i
Why should we depend upon the NRC to enforce it's own rules
… When this operator retaliates against employees that report
… Safety issues?
Why must we accept the Trillion Dollar Eco-Disaster RISK that
… San Onofre poses for all of Southern California when the
… State has less costly excess power that poses ZERO RISK?
Why must we accept Nuclear Baloney (NB) just because it is good
… For the Nuclear Fascists* that want to control their market share
… At any cost?

Bill Maher
Who questions the Nuclear Industry commenters motivation and or sanity?
At some point, one must ask themselves when is gross denial,
… Best left for mental professionals?
+
We are now are being ruled by those in Nuclear Denial*; instead of by Leaders that demand an end to the Trillion Dollar Eco-Disaster RISK that Nuclear poses to mankind! The nuclear industry is fighting tooth and nail to maintain it's market share; yet NOW Solar (of all flavors) is far less costly to construct, faster to construct and carries with it N☢ Nuclear radioactive baggage that can kill a Countries economy and or those living nearby!
Ask The Japanese!
*Nuclear Denial
http://is.gd/XPjMd0
The illogical belief that Nature cannot destroy any land based nuclear reactor, any place anytime 24/7/365!
Remember Nature does not follow design basis calculations or even engineering RISK formulas…
Case in Point, Japan is now suffering with a Trillion Dollar Eco-Disaster,
… Yet some commenting here consider that it, in effect, is "no big deal":
Polluted Ocean, N☢ Problem, it will get better after a while….
Polluted Fields, N☢ Problem, they can remove the upper layer
Polluted Air, N☢ Problem, they can wear paper masks for a while
Polluted Food, N☢ Problem, they can mix the good food to dilute the bad
Polluted Homes, N☢ Problem, they can power wash them clean
Polluted Schools. N☢ Problem, they can clean them off
Polluted Cities, N☢ Problem, they can return soon…
Polluted Lives, N☢ Problem, they can move on…
Polluted Country N☢ Problem, the rich can relocate
With answers like these from our Nuclear Professionals,
…Perhaps you would consider a followup article, asking this question,
… "What exactly would it take for you to stop supporting,
… Land based Nuclear Reactors and go SOLAR,
… Like Germany is now doing?"

Manifesto of Why Shut Them All Down
I discovered just how poorly these plants were being run and how poorly
they were designed from the get-go. And then I discovered how one of
the basic premises of risk control, separation of risks, was completely
ignored. That being that the used fuel rods were the most dangerous
part of the plant, but for "convenience" the most dangerous things were
stored right next too or even RIGHT ON TOP OF the reactors themselves.
This is done to conserve cost, if they were to ship off the

Here's a song Pete Seeger wrote in 1958. He's talkin about bombs, I'm sure, but the words apply to nuke power now…..since it has proliferated and proven itself to be as deadly as a bomb….kind of a "slo-mo" bomb.

OOOPs! Pete Seeger didn't write this…more info:
"Talking Atomic Blues" (aka "Old Man Atom") was composed by California newspaperman Vern Partlow (1910-1987) in 1945. Inspired by interviews he conducted with nuclear scientists for an article he wrote for the Los Angeles Daily News. First recorded by Sam Hinton for ABC Eagle Records in 1949, it was covered by a number of artists, including Ozzie Davis and the Sons of the Pioneers. The song became one of the most popular novelty records of 1950, until the United States government's War on Communism prompted record companies to withdraw the recording from circulation.

The NRC gave the Nuclear Industry a "PASS" on the tube wear issue before on San Onofre and other reactors around the Country http://wp.me/p21p6a-77L
BUT NOW
They are realizing that they have a much bigger problem than they first "imagined"; metal erosion cannot be tolerated when the radioactive leakage is not only high in temperature but also high in amount of radiation!
Would you use a dangerous leaking pressure pot day after day,
… or would you be smart and replace it with something safer?
+
Why nuclear is on the way out:
1. Radiation is dangerous to man
2. Expensive to build compared to Competitive Power Sources.
3. Creates long lasting radioactive waste
4. Risky because Nature can destroy any land based nuclear reactor,
… Any place anytime 24/7/365!
5. No meaningful insurance for MAJOR radioactive damages to property or people!

Uneconomical?
Translation: If we really concentrate on Wind and Solar technologies to make them truly efficient, my buddies who are in the nuclear industry won't be able to afford one new Jaguar a year or go to Martha's Vineyard every other week to get away from the unwashed masses.

Yeah, pure self interest around. In this case to the point of casually killing millions with their lies.
There were so many lies in that video its hard to know where to start. The format of the show is slick propaganda as well, with each 'actor' pretending to take some side or other, but misrepresenting it with more lies. It was the nuke industry that first promoted and funded the idea of man made global warming. Its all that keeps them going now. Note that even those panelists "opposing" nuke power made weak arguments for alternatives. Then the "alternative" was slammed. No mention of health effects, no mention of it being uneconomic without govt guarantees. No mention of it being even more expensive that solar power. Absolutely no mention of the nuclear link to global warming propaganda.
The DOE originally funded the set up of the University of East Anglia's climate science unit, the one that got caught out discussing how they would lie to the public in email gate. Nasa got caught out lying as well by the way, as has our govt weather agency in NZ. Trying to show recent warming by making "estimates" in their favor where temp monitoring sites get moved added or deleted over time.
For those who believe in man made global warming through carbon dioxide emissions, then Nuclear power has the answer.
Here's a very similar related issue now well established thanks to Investigative Jounalist Chris Bryson. Nuke power got fluoridation off the ground. Fluoride is used (and emitted as a pollutant) when purifying uranium for bombs/fuel. Check out this video. If the Nuke industry (originally military/industrial) can do this, then you can't trust anything connected with nuclear. Explosive video.

Fronting the show with a comedian is a nice touch as well. Just mocking the public really.

and at the same time there is an "incident" in france at cattenom..
and easily measurable fallout in the air…
and at the same time that eurdep is manipulated and censored to hide the details of the fallout…
follow the money.. has bill invested indirectly or directly in nuclear since 2008.. the only game in town for investing??
why not mention germany and its kick arse sustainable and much safer energy policy!! go figure!!

Maher's about 56. He's got maybe 20 to 25 years left, if he doesn't happen to inhale too many hot particles. Eventually he'll die of cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's, or some infection he picks up in a hospital, or plain old age. Then he'll learn about truth. He's got a couple decades to continue railing against God. Then his beating on the anvil of truth will be over, and his hammer will fall away.

A very sobering thought AmericanC and it would do Maher good to read it.
His lies are making good money and great accolades for the time being. But that's worth nothing in eternity. His lies will be like gravel in his mouth.
