A Fukushima citizen living in 30km area published the book about his experience after 311. In his book (P43), he refers to a nuclear worker who watched reactor 4 being destroyed. Though explosion of reactor 4 was not reported, it is significantly destroyed.
“Reactor 4 is the most mysterious case. There was no major blasting sound, but the walls of the reactor building were deformed like morphing of SFX in front of our eyes, the walls of lateral side went totally messed up after all.”

SP: How very weird…the smoking gun of the missing explosion video we were all looking for turns out to be the Dr. Frankenstein building just collapsed from stressed walls.
No wonder they never wanted us to see this video. It would be far more damning of the nuclear nightmare globally to witness such a strange event.
Unit 4 collapsing from weight and damaged walls would reveal the earthquake causation as feasible for hundreds of other plants in the world. Far better to blame the megaplex failure on a rare tidal wave.

Well one NRC email did say that the sfp 4 blew or was non-existent, maybe this is or was the case, therefore the whole northern hemisphere already has lethal doses within.

I bet they were in the process of moving some of the fuel between the pool and the reactor when the earthquake hit.

Plausible theory…and could be part of the "melting" theory for the collapsing walls at 4. A hot splash goes a long way…

This is what I thought when, after it was reported that SFP 4 was on fire, they were actually able to extinguish it. I think the new fuel load was in between the SFP and the core. I believe there is some refueling bay connecting the two so that the fuel is never out of water. I think the new fuel load burned completely. There is just no way that they would put out a completely involved SFP with fire hoses.

At one point we were told and could see a fire coming from 4. If it was SPF4, once they start melting above the water wouldn't they keep going regardless of the water?

Also I was told 2000 bq for the seaweed here in Santa Cruz. But how many sieverts does that represent I wonder? Guess I'll never know unless I buy my own detector.

They really need to stop the Jr Lifeguard program : ( I think about all the surfers out there bobbing around in the swells and all the swimmers….sure wished we never had nuclear plants. It's not worth it.

General Plan and Start of Main Work of the Cover for Fuel Removal of Unit 4 in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
Based on "Mid-to-Long-Term Roadmap towards the Decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 1-4" which was announced on Dec. 21, 2011, we started the preparation work for the installation of the cover for fuel removal of Unit 4 on Mar. 23, 2012.
We would like to inform that we will start the main work for the installation of the cover for fuel removal on Apr. 17.
As the first step of the main work, we will conduct the foundation improvement work in order to strengthen the foundation which supports the foundation of the frame for supporting the crane which is a part of the cover for fuel removal.
At the same time, we will conduct the countermeasure to prevent rainwater from penetrating into Unit 4 Reactor Building.

Where are all the satellite photos of Fukushima? I'm pretty confident that the military has the ability to detect radioactive isotopes with some of their satellites. At least we could be seeing detailed visible light and infrared photos from satellites. Has anyone seen any?
If not, why not? Is the United States cooperating with Japan? Why isn't there a grand international endeavor to deal with the disaster?

don't forget what kind of concret and how much and so on..
on photos it looks everything not so big as it is (there on fukuground).
world strongest concret in 150 cm with iron inlay would never shake.
and sure, only three of four walls are blasted away,
and the northwall is only still standing anymore (deformated, yape)

reading the tepco press said something about two explosions heared from the building of reactor four.
that was the only master-event with non pictures of it,
