Fukushima xenon from spontaneous decay, World Nuclear News*, November 3, 2011 at 10:30 am ET:

Excerpt

“Tepco said it considered the source of the xenon to be spontaneous fission on those grounds that it had injected boric acid to the reactor vessel to reduce the likelihood of chain fission reactions but was still able to detect xenon.”

*World Nuclear News “is supported administratively and with technical advice by the World Nuclear Association”; The WNA is “supporting a fast-globalizing nuclear industry”

Or the boric acid can’t penetrate globs of corium enough to stop anything. Knew they’d spin their way outta this one, getting tougher though, it took them a full day to look up other sources of Xenon in a reactor and make something up. Must be getting tired….

We all know that more than just Xenon is being released. TEPCO has a history of reporting the weakest and shortest half-life isotopes released before telling the public about additional release.

There are and have been so many isotopes like silver, etc being emitted from the corium and who knows what the cores look like or if they have joined up with spent fuel cores scattered for miles. Who knows that may be what is causing the hot spots. This is truly unchartered territory and it’s anyones guess as to what the future holds but I know one thing for sure, Japan is in big trouble.

  • This entire report from TEPCO is bogus. It’s very easy to determine if neutron activity is taking place by sticking wire into the reactor to measure the neutron flux.

Or did they run all out of supply of wire?

So IMO it’s not that they can’t determine, its that they don’t want to.

    Further Evidence and Links

    Between November 1st and 2nd, Krypton-85 went from 3.6 x 10^-3 to 5.3 x 10^-1 becquerels per cm3 in Reactor 2′s PCV gas.

Neutron activity was detected march 13th 5.30am, and on multiple further occasions that morning.

Then again at various times between 9pm on march 14th and 1.40am march 15th.

  • Thanks Enformable. Really hard to understand this. Feel like a farmer from the 1800′s trying to figure out why a V8 engine won’t start. I read the article but it doesn’t help too much. Are they detecting iodine too? I’m sure the atmosphere around the destroyed reactors is a chemical soup. They are deducing things by the combination and ratio of chemicals and isotopes they find. Is hydrogen increasing? Besides the wire thing Enformable mentioned I’m sure there are other tests and inference models plus of course computer modelling. Although some shady PR spin doctor advertising executive, similar to the character in “Bewitched” old american sit com, what was his name? You know, Darrin’s boss. Yeah, Darrin’s Boss, Mr Tait I think is running Nuclear Disaster Information and Crowd Management Control, complete with ganster backup and International support.

I think the recent trouble started earlier – maybe two ro three weeks ago, but they tried to keep it quiet. Unfortunately for them the problem did not go away, and at the same time people in Tokyo were finding an increasing amounts of radiation. Initially it was all fault of radium bottles. Now they started to admit the ‘spontaneous fission’, because everyone was getting tired of their lies. Aren’t they fun? I think we discovered the missing link in the Theory of Evolution.

This latest pack of lies from the vermin at Tepco is PR squarely aimed to be fodder for the pro-nuke sociopaths which dominate so many boards and websites.

Let’s just forget there is 1,000 times as much krypton as xenon.

Hmm, krypton-85 has a half-life of 11 years. What has been released is still almost all there.

There was a small amount of xenon-135 detected. Hmm, so small that it must have been from curium, right?

Wrong. Xenon-135 has a half-life of 9 hours. What if the event happened, say, 10 days ago, and Tepco is just NOW getting around to tell us about it?

There was a massive release around Oct.23 with all sort of colored lights on the webcam. Radiation levels spiked in the US and there were many reports of thyroid effects. A hole appeared in the reactor 2 building. Europium was detected in Tokyo. Yellow powder was observed in the pacific northwest.

    1. There was a small-scale underground supercriticality and explosion around Oct.23. This caused this displays on the webcam. Neutrons bombarding the control rods (or the melted goop that used to be control rods) caused europium-152 to be formed. There was a huge release of krypton-85 and iodine-135. There was 1,000 times as much iodine as krypton.

    2. The iodine-135 has a half-life of 6.6 hours. It decays into xenon-135. Enough iodine-135 was still left in the US to cause the thyroid tweaking.

    3. The xenon-135 caused the nuclear reaction to shut down. Of course boric acid is going to do nothing.

    4. The elevated gamma radiation levels were minor compared to the beta radiation the US has been exposed to.

    5. Tepco knew all about this, and said nothing. They waited for the xenon to decay to small levels so they could blame it on curium.

    6. As the xenon decays away, it is going to start all over again.

Wait a minute..boron DOES work unless the target is not in the same place where it’s being injected. Too far underground now? I can’t remember (probably the xenon) but didn’t someone estimate 30ft a few months ago?

There was a huge amount of tellurium-132 (and iodine-132) released in March. This was due to hot bubbling corium eating through concrete, steel and other structures in the buildings.

Tellurium-132 was measured on March 12, that’s how they knew it was a meltdown. Of course, they didn’t admit it for months later.

I sit here depressed wondering how “I”have become the outcast in my shrinking social circle?!-After all,all I’d tried to do was inform family & friends via Facebook, etc. of what “might” happen next! Since early on 3/11 when I’d 1st heard of the disaster unfolding in Japan &I seemed drawn away from the rest of the destruction & human loss by the 1st mention of the “possibility” of a loss of cooling at the Fukushima NPP I’d become more focused on what was the least of the impact of the EQ & tsunami “at that point in time” considering the immense damage & loss of life that immediately followed. I initially was well recieved and even thanked by most, with some actually requesting that I keep my rambling rants flowing when I’d take a break for a day or so to allow myself to absorb what I’d been finding out as the news worsened, explosions began to occur, followed by the resulting waves of releases that I’d vigilantly tracked & compared sources of data that was suddenly either missing or incomplete or seemed to have been manipulated & downplayed. When the 1st Family,as well as TEPCO’s CEO suddenly made sudden, seemingly impulsive trips to S.America & even more EPA Radnet, etc. data became worthless, had big gaps relating to times, locations, etc.,or”under current review”and the official order for media blackout of the event so effectively took hold & I knew that the whole USA at least was in the path of shit via the jetstream-I fervishly tried to convince family & friends to take even minimal measures,if not for themselves then for their young to no avail.I didn’t eat much of anything at all from the 3rd week of March til mid-April and only drank “purified”water but couldn’t convince my wife or grown kids to take even minimal safeguards that might’ve at least lessened my anxiety as I waited for the official word & instruction that never came?!!-I still worry for my loved ones & FB friends who’ve decided in favor of shit”Confucious didn’t say”&…

Yeah,I know exactly what ya mean!-I saw at least 30 comments by friends, many of whom live far apart & don’t know each other that all have been complaining of;”I just don’t feel myself, maybe tomorrow will find me feeling better”,and”I’m under the weather-my kids must’ve caught a bug at school & brought it home”,etc. But the worst this week being a family friend who buried her brother today after I’d given her rides to make funeral arrangements, visit family, etc. who told of her brother having died suddenly of lung cancer & lymphoma during a cancer treatment during which he’d gotten up from his hospital bed and blood started coming from his eyes, nose, everywhere and she said that just six months ago he’d underone a meticulous screening that didn’t find any evidence of the massive tumors that 6 months later took him at age 59! At some point I’d made mention of Fukushima, the nuclear disaster, etc.and she didn’t know anything about it at all! I’ve found many others who might’ve even thought I was pulling their leg or something because they hadn’t seen it on TV! There’s just so much that to me,you & a handful of others isn’t so random, coincidental & unexplainable these days but if you try to fill them in on something that threatens “their” sense of reality, security or belief that their good fortune & happiness isn’t gonna shield them-then they either reject such notions as residual drug rot from the :o ld days”,or they express either anger for trying to deceive them or “concern” for one’s emotional stability for uttering such nonsense!!~So far I’ve made “believers” of 2 people out of 63 of my Facebook “friends” and they are now bordering on becoming social outcasts just like me!,But if it means they’ll pay it forward, sign petitions,etc.-as well as take precautionary measures for their children or suggest to someone uninformed but receptive to the idea to do the same-then it was worth losing credibility & respect for my intelligence of the other…

Hi Jill & everyone else sharing our padded cell!(LOL),I’m glad to have company finally who give me the strength to resist the brainwashing that seems to have taken hold of the masses, not that I’d ever become as stupid as those who’d suggest that “we” are the ones with a problem anyway lol. My own long-haired chihuahua has been sick now after the others in the family who walk him let him lick tree bark & grass, and then insist on taking him into the light rain or tall grass still wet, etc. Now he has a bad ear infection that smells rancid,a dark bluish area near his rear end and the typical chihuahua “hacking cough” due to their having undeveloped trachea’s has gotten worse and I’d rather let him do his thing in the little corner of the bathroom floor or deal with an occasional “tootsie roll” or crouton,LOL! than whatever exposing his little 6 lb. self to outside when it just doesn’t seem a good idea! I didn’t take him on our usual long walks when Spring took hold and I fought with family to keep him inside for an entire month from the 3rd week of march until the last part of April and I felt so bad about it when he looked at me like he does-but I just couldn’t do it and I hope he starts recovering from his latest issues soon and that it’s unrelated to Fuku crap?!!-His Vet recently retired and I’ve gotta find someone who can move as fast as he did to avoid getting bit so I can get him antibiotics for his ear.I also have been giving him only reverse-osmosis bottled water and feed him boiled chicken & dry dog food now & I hope it pays off! I didn’t see the 2-legged chihuahua post and my wife & I probably would’ve adopted it!! Thanks everyuone for your nice responses & kind words-I don’t really socialize much these days & the “plastic’ people on Facebook don’t reply to anything since I’ve had “radiation on the brain” as it’s been said hereabouts in the Windy City by the lemmings.LOL!! If you don’t care if he’s possibly made sterile, try some olive oil with some neem powder in his ears a couple times a day (works on ear mites, fleas and ticks too, for fleas and ticks just wet the powder and rub all over..he’ll be a bit green for awhile;). I use this on myself and my family for ear infections as well as our pets and it works like a charm. (I also mopped our hardwood with it when all chemicals failed and the sand fleas were killing us! works fab!) Some women actually use it for birth control too but it does have the capability of sterilizing less complicated creatures like dogs and cats. Additionally, when we got our cat, he was very sick, eye infections and omg..diarrhea so bad it was terrible. I successfully cured him by taking him off food completely (just water, and good RO always, like you said) for 24 hours as it helps reset their digestive system and then I crushed up half of an apple pectin pill (so it was 250mg) and it stopped the symptoms immediately – maybe a tad less since I’m sure your dog is smaller than my cat!lol When I fill their large water bowl, I also drop about 5-10 drops of colloidal silver (30ppm) in and that took care of the eye infection and keeps all else at bay and has for months now. Now, with colloidal silver, it’s sooo freakin expensive, I just wait until the water gets wicked gross or almost completely gone before doing it again. It is also slow acting and takes consistency, but WELL worth it in my opinion. For food, yes, dry only always and I’ve found Dad’s brand, at least for our cats (not sure if they make a dog food) the absolute best. If they don’t have a dog food, maybe he’ll eat the cat food? Good luck! poor little critter! I am NOT affiliated with either but have had great success ordering for years from lifesilver.com and fromnaturewithlove.com (neem powder).

While on the topic, other good uses for neem include: making a tincture for pnuemonia/malaria/worms/parasites/bronchitis type things. Dump out a teabag and fill with about 1 tsp of neem powder and staple or fold over so it doesn’t spill out (if it does, no biggie, it’ll just taste even grosser..hahah watching faces is the best part..). Boil in about 2 cups of water for 15-20 minutes. Either plug your nose and gag it all down, or for throat conditions, gargle and spit every 30 mintues or so and then just swallow the last swig when you get to it. If your dogs wolf their food down, you may also get away with coating their food. Standing over the boiling pot and deep inhaling the steam through the nose also helps a lot. Will totally clear your sinuses, take the scratch out and also the slimy film in your mouth. My daughter has had strep for 2 months now, 2 courses of antibiotics to no avail and on day 2 of neem, white spots are gone (still doing it though, I want to be sure). I always kick myself because I should have done it to begin with but wasn’t thinking…(must the xenon again;) (For regular maintenance of throats too, spraying colloidal silver in mouth helps a lot and will also rid bad breath if that’s a problem too.)

That’s good info about Neem. I have never used it before. I was going to suggest some drops of hydrogen peroxide diluted in a bit of water for an ear rinse for the ear infection. That also works a treat. My only experience with chihuahuas, was my grandpa’s dog and the dog was blind with white eyeballs and had rotten little teeth and was mean as hell. Grampa wanted to be buried with him and I don’t rightly recall if my parents could get that arranged.

But, anyhow, would a raw organic diet help? I know it really helped my little dog when she was unwell. She was not a chihuahua so maybe they don’t all respond the same although I think they should.

Since that smell coming out of the ear is fetid “I” would try homeopathic Mercurius 6c three times a day. That is a specific for smelly ear infections. As improvement manifests- start spacing out doses. Good luck to all your little friends! Love those puppies!

LetThemEat Yellow Cake- did you ever hear you could also put a silver spoon in the drinking water and it would help?

lol, thanks Jill,we’ve had 7 chihuahua’s in the 20 yrs. my wife & I have been married and the 3 long coats were all alpha-males and always the dominant of the hairiest of “our children”lol,(the 4-legged variety anyways)but they listen better than the kids do anyway!lol.”Teddy’s”tongue isn’t sticking out and his breathing seems normal and I usually take off his harness thing because it just seems it’d make him uncomfortable at times, but the smell coming from his left ear and his poop not being as solid as it should be has me worried most!-my wife is highly allergic to cats though so we never had any although Teddy is often referred to as our “jaguar” because he’s so protective-especially of my wife, mom & daughter. Regarding Jebus’s advice-I gotta tell you that we are not only unprepared,we are going thru hell with Social security disability with my wife having been recently turned down again & now awaiting the 12 months eta the lawyer said the appeal would take & I’m stuck unable to make ends meet because I have to take care of my wife now since she began having seizures 5 months ago in addition to a lifetime of asthma with 5 times being on life-support since we’d been together. I “used” to have survival gear, including NBC warfare protection & military training as well as a large collection of firearms 4 months worth of MRE’s for a family of 6,I’m a licensed Ham Radio Operator as well so if it gets that bad as suggested before I’m able to prepare-it looks like i’m either screwed or will be going to plan B which would grant me access to all those things and more-but I won’t elaborate on that further since I’m trying to remain hopeful that things will work themselves out as far as finances go so I don’t have to have a plan B during chaotic times. I just saw a bunch of bad news that was always there but is now beginning to be verified & I’m gonna go see what’s up. They ‘boil and bubble’,..(indicating infection). I do it three times daily for three days, Wholla!
