This is terrible news but we can at least take comfort in thinking that this will end any proposed plans for building nuclear power plants in Indoenesia.

Hi kintaman, they had the terrible tsunami on Christmas 2004 in the same region with 230.000 dead – didn't stop them either…
Apparently, there's no tsunami, as The Blue Light just posted on discussion thread.

Friends felt the quake in Bangalore, 150 km from where I am presently camping. Kudan at high alert. Pl see my updates at my earthquake site:

The interconnections are becoming obvious for even a nut!
And we see the end of Kaliyuga and a violent changeover to a life style based on truth.
Note that Japan, New Zealand and North America are ominously devoid of hotspots.Queasy feeling.

No damages, really? Detailed tests(!) will reveal;its testing time for the world's nukes.
Re: Deccan Herald, Testing time
“The warning system needs to get better.”
"Two major earthquakes off the coast of Indonesia's Aceh province have mercifully left behind little damage or destruction."
http://www.deccanherald.com/content/241638/testing-time.html
An independent nuclear regulatory authority would have demanded and got information with site visits about damages at Kudankulam and Kalpakkam wrought by the twin great quakes, 8.7 and 8.2 off the NW coast of Sumatra. Its not so much the tsunami as the shaking and surges of applied forces at the nuclear sites after the earthquakes that is of consequence regarding the damages. Now no one knows with surety how much damage has been caused subsequent to the rapid surges of bending moments and forces applied at the sites by the world's dams. This must be taken up as a top priority as a beyond design basis phenomenon by the government and acted upon making the results available to the public for independent checking. The nuclear designs of the world have not taken these dam induced surge waves into account. It is not just the acceleration of the ground but the huge dam surges matching the gigantic force of a nuclear explosion that is to be thoroughly investigated. See Glaring lacuna in meeting water needs by googling to appreciate the nuclear effect at

Please study the mortal danger of a nuke explosion at any nuke
reactor facility due to the world's dams. I fear the worst at any or all these in India: Kudankulam, Kalpakkam, Kakrapar, Kaiga, Narora, Tarapur,Mumbai and Rawatbhata. Blast the theory if it is not scientifically plausible. But please dont ignore it. The closure of the nukes may go a step further with your scrutiny.
