Title: Radioactive Lie: ‘Japan response to Fukushima inadequate’
Uploaded by: RussiaToday
Date: on Dec 27, 2011
Description: A newly released report on the Fukushima nuclear crisis says it was down to the plant’s operators being ill-prepared and not responding properly to the earthquake and tsunami disaster. A major government inquiry said some engineers abandoned the plant as the trouble started and other staff delayed reporting significant radiation leaks. Professor Christopher Busby, scientific secretary to the European Committee on Radiation Risks, says health damage after contamination will be more serious than Japan announced.
Transcript Summary:
At 2:30 in
- That’s really a criminal event
- As i said before this is criminal irresponsibility
- People would have left to avoid radiation if the gov’t had come clean about contamination levels
- Really this is quite a criminal affair…
- I would hope that somebody should be brought to justice

hi bob… missed that discussion then.. or hit piece?
proffessor busbies reply in amongst the new weaponry!! nice boat too!!

At least Dr. Busby cared enough about the Japanese and their children to try to do something to help them.

For a price. I like Chris. But I never completely trust a guy who wears a beret all the time.
Report Comment
No, there was no price. For Dr. Busby, the medicine was to be sold at cost.
This quote from the article you posted: “All money from 4u Detox goes to children of Fukushima and children throughout Japan. We have donated a great amount to children of Japan”.
Dr. Busby has devoted his life while living humbly to try to educate the world on the dangers of nuclear power. The exact opposite of the greed and lies we see in the pro-nuclear circles.
And…you don’t know if he wears the beret ALL the time.

A man with a beret like that needs a classier boat. That’s why he is charging ¥5,800 (£48) a bottle for his anti-radiation nostrums. Pharmacists in Tokyo sell bottles of 200 pills containing similar combinations of ingredients for ¥1,029 (£8.49). The website selling his pills also charges a minimum shipping cost of ¥2,300 (£19). Check out his pill site at

Report Comment
Well, he can say that, but having the funds go into your own bank account where you can do God knows what with it is not a legitimate way to set up a charity.
If his anti-radiation nostrum works, why not just make the recipe available on the internet, so that people in Japan can buy it at their pharmacies, for cheaper, without shipping costs?
If Chris wants money to go to the children of Fukushima, what is the purpose? So their parents can buy his pills?
Really.

I am afraid i was pretty annoyed to hear him say it takes “sophisticated” equipment to analyse and identify isotopes. An Iphone is vastly more sophisticated.
On the other hand, i watched Arnie Gundersen perform the Hydrogen explosion experiment without using safety glasses on youtube..
I think his main point was to bring the idea of using Calcium and Iodine into the public arena.
If someone is smart enough, i am sure they could save money and buy their own. I am also sure many did.

Its funny…. Im ok with him selling a potential medicine but Im not ok with being sold a pack of lies that all is well from the doctors who should be helping citizens not hurting them by doing nothing.

No matter how one spins this, the fact is that yesterday was the first time since at least September when GoogleNews had a Fukushima story, and I just want to say plainly it’s because they are now in full scapegoat mode.
They want to blame everything on TEPCO, and TEPCO will fade away, while a new company will spring up (to buy the “assets”) and no one will be held accountable. The whole frickin system has got to go. It’s got to begin with the Japanese people demanding that heads roll, mercy perhaps will come later, depending on, oh I don’t know things like candor, remorse and acts of contrition.
Report Comment
“mercy perhaps”,
WE are at the mercy of national leaders, corporations, liars, incompetents, psychopaths etc.
Nuclear power is at the mercy of nature – the earth, the oceans, the Sun.
When there are nuclear plant problems it’s a mercy if all emergency systems function as intended, if operators stay, if shodddy construction doesn’t make it worse.
Mercy – from the afflicted – advantages those WITHOUT Mercy.
Perhaps it is most merciful to prevent the merciless from ever acting unmercifully again, most compassionate to prevent the uncompassionate from ever incurring more Karmic debt, to allow the doers of such dirty deeds the opportunity to meet their makers and beg mercy in person.
WE need to have mercy first on ourselves, on common humanity, not on it’s destroyers.
Candor, remorse and acts of contrition AFTER THE FACT don’t warrant mercy, and neither do professed conversions to deep faith.
Our teachings of forgiveness hamper us, and THEY KNOW IT.

It’s not about where we are now as a result of technology and decisions from the 20th century. It’s where we need to go based on technology, risks and costs in the 21st century.
It’s also about where we are going right now. The current wind power installed capacity growth curve has a shape similar to the boom phase of nuclear power from 1950 to 1980.
Thus to favor nuclear over wind today means ignoring or abandoning the currently ongoing exponential growth phase of wind while attempting to restart the growth of nuclear which has been stalled for some 25 years.
How can such a strategy make sense? The most obvious conservative bet is with the industry demonstrating year-on-year growth right now.
When WWII began, most naval admirals believed the battleship would remain the capital ship as it had been for so long. But events quickly showed the aircraft carrier to be the new capital ship, with battleships quickly being relegated to supporting roles such as carrier escorts and shore bombardment. In warfare, changing events force decision makers to adapt quickly. Those who cling to outmoded beliefs get eliminated by those who move with the times.
Clearly the times are moving in favor of wind while nuclear has seen no significant growth for decades. Just look at the growth curves. Why is there even a debate?
Favoring nuclear makes as much sense as favoring mainframe computers in the 1990s while claiming the lowly PC would never amount to anything. The PC industry went from zero to bigger than IBM’s mainframe business in a couple of decades. The mathematics of exponential growth mean that growth rates matter more than where things happen to be at the moment.”

From Dr. Busby:
“…The health effects will be very much more serious than anyone is saying now.”
“I think that there’s an enormous pressure from the nuclear industry and from the people who stand to lose a lot of money with regard to the general nuclear expansion-scenario…”
“…For the enuclear industry this was an absolute disaster.”
“…There does seem to be an enormous iron grip on the media with regard to the effects of this terrifying accident, this catastrophe.”

Here is actual assembly load information for the reactors:
Number of fuel assemblies
In the reactor
400 unit 1
548 unit 2
548 unit 3
0 unit 4
548 unit 5
764 unit 6
Spent fuel assemblies in the spent fuel pool
292 unit 1
587 unit 2
514 unit 3
1,331 unit 4
946 unit 5
876 unit 6
New fuel assemblies in the spent fuel pool
100 unit 1
28 unit 2
52 unit 3 (this indicates unit 3 was fully loaded with MOX when it exploded)
204 unit 4
48 unit 5
64 unit 6
Plus 6375 in the Shared spent fuel pool
So there are a total of 14,225 fuel assemblies in the cores and spent fuel pools at Fukushima.
At this point we know for sure that 1496 of them have melted – which is 10.5%.
I suspect another 514 have spilled out of the SPF3 and are now on fire. which is another 3.6%
So at this point we have the largest nuclear disaster ever, however it is approximately 14% complete right now.
86% of the fuel on site is still in peril.

What was vague was the content of the legal threat: “We are considering some sort of legal action” or words to that effect. Why not just sue the Guardian? Libel laws are very strict in Britain, and I’ll bet he could get some hungry shyster to take the case on contingency….if he really were going to sue.

Shockingly disturbing. I was a fan of her artistry but if she wants to tie her art and name with such a mistruth like this Im done listening to her as of now. I mran, does she realise she’s encouraging people to attend a toxic dump? Does she think pregnant women should flock to Fukushima for her benefit concert?
Im disgusted by somone I thought was otherwise brighter than most.

News in six months:
Lady ga-ga goes ga-ga and is coughing, wheezing, weak, and noticeably frail in latest video showing bleeding from eyes and nose profusely along with visible hair loss. Doctors have no idea what her ailment could be.
Report Comment
She has been using chemical dyes and hair coloring for many years now. According to many sources, her hair has been falling out for quite a while, and it is getting worse, because she over uses chemicals in her hair.
She has recently been using Rogaine to try and stop the hair loss..
She also sleeps with her masquera on at night, never taking it off.
She says she has ‘good genes’, so none of this will hurt her. So sad, to see someone with that kind of talent hurtling down a chemical, radiation, meat and toxin filled road, encouraging others to do the same, just like her.. I mean, what does it take to wear a meat suit and get drenched in animal? blood? Does she not realize that other people will start emulating her, and also start wearing meat suits? We already have animal factory farms; that is bad enough.
Next thing, she may open factories in China to produce meat suits, preserved with Fukushima ionizing radiation. No joke, this is already happening with some foods.
As far as living green, she is about the worst example there is.. all chemicals, nothing natural, no respect for Nature, doing nothing in harmony with Nature, and acting like Nature’s laws do not apply to her…
The rest of the story? Well, Nature wins in the end. Her laws CANNOT BE BROKEN, at least not without consequences. She is starting to experience that, as are billions of people all around the planet.
The prediction is that she will experience more of the consequences in the future as her good genes get broken and squashed by all of the chemicals, radiation and other toxic goodies she is exposing herself to, and selling others on it as well…
There is a consequence to all of this, and Mama Nature is taking care of it… long term. Sadly, the only way to learn if you do not listen to Mama Nature, is to suffer.. So the suffering may have to increase greatly… So sad.

Dr. Chris Busby nails it… He says millions are dying in Iraq, bodies are piling up. In a previous video he said that up to 80 percent of babies are defective or sick at birth in Falluja.. BUT NO ONE CARES. NO NUCLEAR AGENCY IS INVESTIGATING DU link to these deformities and sicknesses. Guess what? US soldiers were also exposed to DU dust.
I pity all of the people of Iraq, Japan and many other countries including the USA, all of them exposed to low dose radiation and DU weapons dust.. They KNOW NOTHING and no one is warning them…
As Busby says; The ‘experts’ are all saying it is ‘safe’, while the truly scientific studies are showing it is very dangerous and toxic.
I predict it will be like Agent Orange in Vietnam. People will have to fight for 20 or more years before the Veterans will get any money for DU or radiation sickness related problems… if ever. Scientists knew right away that Agent Orange was bad news… but it took another 2 generations of people dying from it, before they begrudgingly admitted a wee bit of something might have been toxic there… and we may pay a wee bit o money for that.. but just a little… and you have to wade through tons of red tape and maybe some waiting lists to get it…
Same old story.. same old poisons… same old, same old… here we go again.
I just hope the world lives through this one, because the toys they boys are playing with is getting WAY more toxic, WAY more dangerous. They toys like MOX Fuel and MOX spent fuel stored in huge containers, all crammed together, can quickly escalate into a global life extinction event, before they even realize it.
Add the Carrington Event, and it looks like humanity is on a slow motion ride over the Niagra Falls of nuclear fallout.

Completely agreed with what Mr. Busby said. Putting people in danger by hiding information should be a serious offense.
The Japanese people are not happy.
Many realize a significant portion of Japanese soil is not suitable for habitation. Just last October a leaked Tepco documented indicated the total amount of plutonium and neptunium emitted from the plant. This stuff sticks around for millions of years…
If you haven’t seen the dispersion maps for plutonium they are published here:
