Chevron hardly ever has problems. Last year the oil spill in Brazil and a 20 billion fine. Now a refinery explosion. There are starting to look like BP.

The 18M lawsuit in Equador–which Chevron lost–has not been paid. They are going to re-try in Canada…Chevron purchases Texaco..and Texaco had not cleaned up their mess.

Inconvenience?! WTF? Yes, Lung cancer is just a slight "Inconvenience". Also if there is "No immediate health risk", why shelter in place?

Do not worry as the subsequent illnesses will not be immediate. It will come later when you can no longer prove a link to this accident.

Last night on the news they said, "shelter in place and seal up your home"
I saw a movie once where the guy who sealed his home died, while his wife left in the backyard lived, can't remember the name but it was a very suspensefull movie. I think it was a biological release.

Chevron stock (NYSE:CVX) is UP almost 1% so far today. Makes perfect sense – to someone, but not to me.

A gas shortage due to the refinery fire is an excuse to raise gas prices at the pump. Good for the bottom line (profits).

It was amazing to see local news channels go into reverse this morning, downplaying health hazards and saying it's basically all okay now. The cloud is gone the sky is blue, the sun is yellow, la dee da. The only thing to be concerned about now is lower production and higher gas prices.

Wonder if this will go, through the jet stream and meet the radiation from Fukushima?
What kind of murky soups are they, making us?
Will the residue be inside and outside of their homes?
Would they ever tell the people this?
