Radionuclide Transport from Fukushima to Eastern North Pacific, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, 2013 PICES Annual Meeting on October 15, 2013:

To what historical fallout level does Fukushima return us? Rossi model; takes us to levels higher than maximum fallout.

Caveat: These levels are still well below maximum permissible concentrations in drinking water for 137Cs of 10,000 Bq/m3: Not an environmental or human health radiological threat!

Interview with nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen, KBOO, Nov. 9, 2013 (at 55:00 in): The amount of radiation that went into the Pacific from largely French tests, but also American tests, is smaller than what is going into the Pacific now from Fukushima Daiichi. The concentration in the Pacific from Cs-137 – we had contaminated the Pacific […] 700 bombs above ground and a couple thousand below ground […] but Fukushima Daiichi’s plume that’s heading towards the West Coast of the US has about 10 times more radiation in that wave as it comes toward the US than what we had already done from bomb testing. We further contaminated the Pacific, much more so than the bomb testing in the Pacific back in the 40s and 50s .

Sure you are fucking crazy they moved the Bar 18,100 times higher to human health they can all go fucking drink the water and eat the food, Obama can say a bit of radiation is good for everyone but go fucking eat it yourself bitch… These fucked up ass holes are going to kill everyone. I am sorry to all but this is the last draw I am pissed off this is BS and I am not going to take it anymore..

Aplpha1, many may not care too much about the cursing (you do do a lot of it, don't you?), but maybe you can try to protect your ballistic buttons for your own peace of mind — because it will be getting WORSE.

We did some nutritional research for a friend recently diagnosed with TWO separate cancers at once (how abnormal is that?) Turns out that one of the very best foods to calm internal anxiety and the irresistible urge to go smash things, is raw cold COCONUT OIL. The raw saturated fat (though it has to be raw — can't be cooked or processed) calms the nervous system.

I mean this kindly. I really do relate to your anger big-time.

      • HoTaters HoTaters

'Good idea to get organic coconut oil, too, if you can. Toxins can be introduced in processing or when the coconuts are growing.

Tropical Traditions has great coconut oils (the co. often has specials). Lots of good products, great customer service.

Coconut oil has high antioxidant value, and it has anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties. It's a wonderful food which helps boost taxed immune systems, too. Also helps to balance one's weight at a normal level (whether overweight or underweight).

It's great for people with cancer, chronic illness, those exposed to radiation (guess who? all of us), in short, good for everyone.

          HoTaters,

          We use coconut oil, too.

Hey, I was listening to Dr. Russell Blaylock, and he also said curcumin. Curcumin is the king of the anti-inflammatories. It's antiviral, antimicrobial, antibacterial, anticancer, and the list goes on and on. It's also undergoing many medical studies now. Baylor Medical Dallas has a study going that shows that it's a wonderful antidepressant, much better than the SSRIs. They are using curcumin BCM-95, which is some that you can absorb.

We use both BCM-95, I think it's Life Extension super bio or something. Then I also use Jigsaw Health. I use two different kinds. Jigsaw Health has theirs combined with extra-virgin olive oil.

Blaylock also said use ginger, garlic. He said something else, so I'll have to listen to the audio again. I found it on Rense.

Cool, did you hear that everyone? It's not a radiological threat. We can finally pack all this up and go home! Phew, that was a close one – almost thought that three nuke plants erupting was going to have some effect on our planet/health, guess not. Guess we dodged a bullet.

Seriously though, they really should stop with this whole '10 times this' and '20 times less than' bullshit. What's with this comparative science – is this what passes for physics now?

With all due respect, it was Ann Coulter who said that a little radiation is good for you. Perhaps she and Moore can get together on a new project?

  • mesa777

It simply makes me SICK to think what man kind has done to the overall global environment!!!! Do we really need thousands upon thousands of nuclear weapons simply stockpiled, hopefully never to be used? Who knows what the storage of just those nuclear weapons does to the environmental outlook of the world?

I am really thinking about just packing everything I own and move to South America to a country that is not nuclear armed and without these pathetic nuclear power plants! What man has done is over populate the world many time over, the earth can simply not deal with this many people, we rape oceans, the forests and the lands that we have to have to keep the life chain moving! We have broken this chain and now we all are going to suffer its effects! Just quicker however with the Fukushima disaster which in my opinion is at least three times worse than the Chernobyl event in April of 1986.

    • We Not They Finally

If you have the means to move to South America, do go. By all means and good luck. It's a good option.

    • ManWithThePlan ManWithThePlan

Oh, the Earth is big enough to house the current human population. It's definitely not built for all of the bullshit we're feeding it though.

You may have seen what the Chinese are doing to their environment (and some people actually advocate moving Fukushima refugees from a nuclear dump to an industrial dump).

If people actually did as they were supposed to and taken care of the Earth, I'm sure it could potentially house 10 billion, but with the way things are going, we'll be lucky if it can sustain 1 or 2 billion by the end of the century.

    • We Not They Finally

But that's the problem with radiation (I guess that's that you are calling kool-aid?) It's in the air, water and soil, so unless we go out of way to protect ourselves, not much choice.

Get a good water filter, everyone, reverse osmosis at the least. No fish and cut way back on dairy. Eat whole raw fruits and vegetables so at least you have enough enzymes, vitamins and minerals in you to resist the onslaught. Take anti-oxidants. Also BAKING SODA is great to take a little of each day. Alkalizes he body — cancer thrives on acid.

      • AllenH AllenH (Scary, but not alarming !?)

I meant the government and scientific spin on the problem. They always try to tell us it is not a threat, which is completely insane of them to say when sea life is battling to live, and we are next.
Filters aren't going to help much. As we will start receiving radiation from all directions

        • unincredulous unincredulous

It's not a threat, but turn in your firearms, and turn over all your rights because a dirty bomb might wind up in someone's hands (Tepco, for example?) Radiation isn't a threat as long as it's friendly fire and you keep smiling 🙂

Talking of Hawaii.. I'm a teacher in Japan and my students went to Hawaii last week. I told them don't go in the sea and don't eat the seafood. Why? they asked me so I explained. This week Facebook is full of photos of them swimming in the sea and eating the seafood. How do you deal with this crap if they won't listen? You can't. They are all 19 or 20 years old and soon they will be dying. Sad but that's the way it goes.

If I read the graph correctly, the Rossi model predicts 30 becquerels per cubic meter for only Cs-137. If accurate, this would be significant for two reasons. (1) When you add the Sr-90, Am-241, Pu-239, etc. and all the other 100 some odd isotopes in the water, the total radiation would be much more impressive. (In fact, if memory is correct, the German meltdown model of circa 1990 predicted that just the Sr-90 in the water would a 100x more dangerous than the Cs-137.) (2) Biomagnification by the foodchain would make the Cs-137 number ~100 to ~1000 times higher or more in the flesh of the animals (shellfish, predatory fish) that humans eat for protein. I would not call this model reassuring!

"If accurate, this would be significant for two reasons. (1) When you add the Sr-90, Am-241, Pu-239, etc. and all the other 100 some odd isotopes in the water, the total radiation would be much more impressive."

North Pacific Ocean water is now a mixture of toxic chemicals, and a verity of Radioactive isotopes, not just Cesium!

All this weakens the immune systems of animals and humans, we could see viruses that would normally be under check become more infectious, or mutation of a viruses strain into more infectious strains.

      The Toxicity multiplying effect.

A single toxin in the environment can be a hazard, and maybe an organism's natural biological defense systems can deal with this effectively. If an organism has other toxins present radiological and chemical, to deal with at the same time, you get a biological toxicity multiply effect. The human or animal defense systems becomes weaker the more toxins it
      has to deal with.

System overload, fighting to many battles on to many fronts at the same time!

In the long term more human and animal life may die from the indirect effects of the radioactive contamination, as a result of the weakened immune systems, or from virus mutations. Hence the wide spread animal die off reports.

The Enenews forum "Methods for combating radiation and its effects," has lots of information on how to detox, and strengthen your immune systems.

OldFool (though you don't sound like a fool!), Arnie Gundersen (whom people love to diss, but he does the best he can) says that cesium is just easier to measure, so they pretend that it's the total, and lowball some astronomically high exposure.

He also said that the whole-body radiation scans are notoriously lowball as well. That they only measure the surface and then average it out, when really you could have a concentration lodged somewhere inside that is killing you.

  • TheBigPicture TheBigPicture

Btw, bottom half of the planet has it's own wind and sea currents.

  • weeman

After looking at the graph all it tells me since the inception of nuclear fission the levels of radiological radiation have been rising, no one will argue at some point radioactivity is detrimental to all life forms, the question is what is a safe level and what is not, no one can give you a straight answer on that.
We can not continue to allow the levels to rise, we are close to the tipping point if we are not already to late.
Life cannot propagate on the surface of a plant without protection from solar radiation, that is why early life started in ocean, put this dead end technology to rest or it will put us to permanent rest.

That gregslab data for Fresno is frozen, has been since Dec 15th 2013. They turn these things off regularly when the data is too high. Frustrating for me, I have to self test/measure every frigging thing! Were green NET~>http://ec2.netc.com/ now, but last night the alert was scary! We had spike counts of 1000+ cpm. My dosimeter reads 43 cpm, 1/2 inch from Am 141, actual beta 1260, alpha was 4180, & 8.43 uS/h. At 38 cpm we were exposed 80% of this dose inside for several hours. These readings are actually good compared to many of our California food basket towns. Fresno was averaging 450+ cpm for a 10 day ave. for over a week before it "died" again. Bakersfield was so bad a few months ago, they don't dare bring it back online!

Japan has upgraded the severity rating at the paralyzed Fukushima nuclear plant to seven, a level only ever previously assigned to the Chernobyl disaster. Officials say it's been raised, because high radiation has been recorded in the air, ocean and tap water. But Japan's nuclear safety agency is still reluctant to compare the dangers to what happened at Chernobyl, saying the radiation leak is still smaller.

If it was generally understood that free energy is a reality, and that this has been known to the insiders for over a century now, might the people more clearly understand that the leaky Hitachi-GE reactor is not a mere accident that we're looking at? That is, would it not be seen in the context of a well planned attack upon the human race with a weapon of mass destruction?

Have we given much thought to the fact that only one dirty bomb Hitachi-GE reactor has the potential to disrupt the lives of literally billions of people in the next few decades?

Before Nikola Tesla, Nathan Stubblefield had free energy motors and heaters operating in the 1890s. Henry Paine had a free energy table saw operating in 1871. Can we not appreciate that Free energy is real?

The theory of free energy has been challenged on the basis of Newtonian physics, that say that more energy cannot come out of a machine than goes in. So if free energy is real, then where is the over unity free energy coming from? The answer, High speed planetary and universal motion. To help explain how it can be extracted, here is a link:

    http://bitchworld.weebly.com/the-four-elements-of-free-energy.html

Free energy, when it is once understood as a reality, how may we view the menace that this dirty nuclear technology is to the human race? Might we guess that the plan all along has been to use it to take us all right on out of here? Is there some other conclusion we could draw? 435 more dirty bomb…

    • ManWithThePlan ManWithThePlan

How about the giver of all life, the sun? If they want free energy AND they want to screw around with radiation, why not pump all that fucking missile money into solar energy research. They've been saying for so long that solar will never beat nuclear or fossil fuels, that everybody now believes it. Just like eveybody believes that taxes pay for the trees, the birds, and the public good; that public education is supposed to make you smarter; that the pharmaceutical industry is here to look after your health…

      pjrsullivan you write:
"The theory of free energy has been challenged on the basis of Newtonian physics, they say that more energy cannot come out of a machine then goes in."

A personal deduction from a simple mind:
      We accept evolution,
we accept that nothing stays the same.
I accept, unaware whether others do, that Infinity exists.

So, to me it is a natural extension that energy has no end, it is not only conceivable, but logical. To this end, I declare that I do not believe in the third law of Thermodynamics.

Cs-137 lasts maybe 300 years in nature. It works it's way up the food chain. It has been shown in the Chernobyl studies to bioaccumulate and concentrate in specific organs. The physician who discovered this fact was thrown in prison by the PM of Belarus. His work will be published soon in English.

The Germans Greens have overcome Merkel ' s party's embrace of all things nuclear. Wild boat's eat truffles that bioaccumulate Cs-137. You cannot eat wild boars. Same thing with Pacific fish, crab, etc.

Cs-137 will increase on the West Coast ten-fold, even if Fukushima stopped spewing because of currents. Germany will inform you about the wild boar but Canada and the USA have sold out to prevent panic and the sudden demise of the American Dream. Just as they bailed out the bankers, they will never admit that it is too late to eliminate the cascade of biological events that follow multiple meltdowns adjacent to a large body of water. We are seeing the tip of the iceberg with die-offs. Why would marine creatures thrive in increasing concentrations of these radionuclides and isotopes with all the other "permissible" chemicals being dumped.

You can't fool Mother Nature. She comes back with her own gifts.

Once you listen to Steven Star's presentation, you will know what you can do to extend your life by a few years. But the concentrations in sea lions are a thousand-fold while currents will increase Cs-137 ten fold.

Sitting atop the food chain, we will be the eventual victims of the Cs-137. Plus, we are the beneficiaries of Buckyballs crossing the Pacific and coming onto the land in the ocean mists and the marine layer for 60 miles inland from the coast. These are plenty of other worries from other nuclides but these are the concerns I have.

Low level but continuous internal exposures cannot be compared to naturally occurring radiation in bananas which are excreted. The analogy to flying or x – rays are entirely inaccurate. Cs-137 is artificial. It bioaccumulate up the food chain and concentrates in heart, pancreas, thyroid, etc.

No added radiation is acceptable. This is propaganda. Cs-137 bioaccuulates like DDT.

Once these concepts are understood, you will also understand why governments that encouraged this to happen by permitting it and subsidizing it with your tax dollars are NOT going to admit anything.

As with fracking, Canadian government officials want the economic benefits and will ignore the environmental consequences.

Science is for sale. May the buyer beware!

    You are very wise! 🙂

It's a guide nothing is in stone, what about the accumulative effects of all three kinds of radiation at different values and combinations, does that chance the effects.
I would think so, like all other toxins one may cause little damage but in combination with other toxins it is deadly, I suspect the same with different forms of radiation?

Google "arsenic" + "radiation" and you will find that radiation oncogists dose cancer patients ahead of radiation treatments to make the patient's cells, including the bad tumor cells much more sensitive to the directed radiation. But that involves directed beams of radiation focused by computers on the tumor.

If you take arsenic and are then exposed to radiation, your cells are much more sensitive. Even ultra violet light is much more destructive with predosing. DNA takes a cap synergistically. Check it out by Googling.

  • CANADIAN GOVERNMENT RADIATION MONITORING
    ========================================

As you many know, the Canadian government suspended publication of atmospheric radiation data five months after the Fukushima plant started spewing radiation. They did it because "there was no cause for concern."

But now they are publishing something. What it is, I'm not sure. I hope any of you can tell us what the point of their meager sample is all about.

    http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/ewh-semt/contaminants/radiation/surveill/data-donnees/index-eng.php

I think this will be of interest to Enenews Canadian readers – if only as evidence of the global coverup.

I live on southern Vancouver Island, which is basically in the bull's eye for Fukushima radiation coming to this continent.

The government chart only mentions Argon 41 and Xenon 133 and 135.

But we know that there are many other types of particles blowing this way right this moment, and they're not being monitored.

The 'KERMA' reading for the city of Victoria in January 2007 is 7211, and in January 2012 is 7385. It's as if nothing ever happened. This must surely reassure some folks.

Wave of Radiation from Fukushima Will Be 10 Times Bigger than All of the Radiation from Nuclear Tests Combined
Posted on December 22, 2013 by WashingtonsBlog

Radioisotopes entered the ocean from atmospheric fallout and from water used to cool damaged reactors, which flushed into the ocean.

The amount of radiation pumped out by Fukushima dwarfs the amount released by the nuclear tests.

The amount of cesium-137 radioisotopes from the Fukushima disaster in surface ocean waters was 10000 times greater than amounts that entered the ocean from the Chernobyl accident or atmospheric nuclear weapons tests.

The wave of radioactive cesium from Fukushima which is going to hit the West Coast of North America will be 10 times greater than from the nuclear tests.

Until this sampling for radiation was by the Cdn Govt., there were complaints that no other government agencies doing any testing beyond the first few months after the Tsunami/etc.

Who knew?? – The TOWN of TERRACE B.C., or maybe it was a 1st Nations band nearby, that was collecting it's own samples and sending them to a lab in Saskatchewan.

It was reported in the town newspaper "Terrace Daily" in an article here> http://www.mwpr.ca/go7896a/NUCLEAR_FALL_OUT_AND_IRRADIATED_OCEAN_MONITORED_BY_NATIVES

Here is the first part of the article:

    REPORTING · 14th April 2011
NUCLEAR FALL OUT AND IRRADIATED OCEAN MONITORED BY NATIVES
    Merv Ritchie
More radiation testing results were returned today to the Village of Old Massett from a radiochemistry lab, SRC Analytical Laboratories, in Saskatchewan. The results continue to show levels of radiation falling from the Japanese Fukushima nuclear reactor meltdowns.

”We are seeing an increased presence of one radiation component (Iodine -131) in RAIN WATER. However, the Iodine-131 reading has decreased since April 8th and is now at a low level again. As expected this reading fluctuates with the weather and events in Japan. As this reading can very quickly increase, the following notice remains in effect for now:

WE ARE ADVISING COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO STOP DRINKING RAIN WATER.”

The rest of the article –

John Disney, the acting Band manager at Old Massett, has taken on the task of testing his communities water on his own. Everywhere he turned at the beginning of this crisis he was disregarded; that is until the results came in. Health Canada, though originally telling him the stop and then telling him he was reading the results wrong, finally accepted the laboratory results and agreed to pay for the analysis. Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) is still ignoring this situation according to Disney. He is still now, more than a month after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accident, the only Government body taking an active role in testing to determine the seriousness of the situation.

“Things are settling down with the radiation contamination monitoring this week. Our test results are showing all levels are dropping. We will continue to test twice/week and if the levels rise again we'll ramp up the testing.” wrote Disney in an email this morning, “Interesting communications with Health Canada and INAC – they're both saying the responsibility of First Nations health is with the other. However, HC has stepped up to the plate and is going to cover the lab costs for Old Massett and so they are winning this debate in our books. INAC continues to refuse to provide any help at this time.”

When a new batch of test results are returned the Village Old Massett posts and circulates the results to many other organizations including the media.

Nathan Cullen explained how he raised this issue with Canada’s Nuclear Safety Commission directly after the accident, just before the election was called. He described the group as a 'War Room' comprised of agencies such as Health Canada and the Environment Ministries. He has asked specifically about testing the water as this is where he expects the highest concerns to be; with the food sources for the region.

“To this point Health Canada hasn’t shown up,” he stated today, “They’ve said that they’re going to continue the air testing but that’s it, and that’s not on. We need more, we need a base line. We need to look at the food sources.”

Disney has advised his community that they will do just that, writing in their latest bulletin “We are testing seaweed at this time and will post the results as soon as we receive them. We are planning to monitor home grown vegetables and fish products too very soon. We will also post these results.”

Cullen acknowledged the efforts of Disney and expressed his disappointment with the lack of response from the government.

“It feels like they’re missing the point of people that live right with the ocean, with their food coming from, directly from, the ocean.
