  • stopnp stopnp

Is anyone checking it for radiation?

    • Pallas89juno Pallas89juno

      Dear Stop: Excellent question!

    • stock@hawaii.rr.com stock@hawaii.rr.com

It is likely to bo low or none, the land was scooped pretty quickly, before fuku started melting down.

      • patb2009

Don’t be so sure, much of this debris went through the major isotope cloud in the firs 3 days.

the waterproof stuff won’t absorb xesium, etc. But the flotsam just may have.
Depends how much was absorbed and bound chemically and what was rewashied
        in the sea

      • HamburgGeiger

It floated in radioactive water and under clouds of fallout for 8 months… A short moment in those circumstances was enough to contaminate a huge US aircraft carrier. And you think the debris is likely low or none radiated? I don`t think so.

Dear Goth: I LOVE this kind of news. Could you imagine how many solutions, more nails in the nuclear-anything coffin, could be generated if more than a tiny percentage of the 1% of 7B humans with any access to college, had access to college. It would not only be heartening in these scary times; but a LOT of fun. Thanks again for the news.

    • HamburgGeiger

Tacomagroove, from when is this first video with the contaminated ship?

    • Kevin Kevin

It desalineates… but does it decontaminate?

      Unbelievable…

They take water from the ocean they are dumping the nuclear waste into.

      IS that not glaringly obvious?

  • For us here in Washington.. ‘

now its a double dose effect…

  • Auntie Nuke

Gotham, don’t count on it. The sociopaths at the NRC and at the top of the nuke industry will spin this as a recyclable resource windfall or somesuch and downplay the possibility of radiation, industrial contamination or bio-hazard waste. But it has the potential to make people aware in an ongoing way and hopefully get them upset enough to do something to shut the nuke plants down. In California, know that there is a ballot initiative gathering signatures for the November 2012 election. Get info and a copy of the petition here: http://sanonofresafety.org/california-nuclear-initiative/ Then – sign, get six of your friends (registered voters only!) to sign, and send it in. Even better: have your friends each take at least one petition and have them fill it out and mail it in as well. We have no funds to hire signature gatherers, so we count on grass roots activism to take this viral in the analog world.

  • “As many as 29 children were sent to three different hospitals as a result of an unknown substance poisoning. All were housed in one school room where the meeting took place with Bishop zielonogórsko-Gorzów. It was controlled by firefighters and environmental inspectorate. Samples also downloaded sanel. The causes of poisoning are not known.”

Taco, thanks for all your research.

      • I have been compiling a long post with all the data I have recently collected from interviewing people all month…

There will be a great article coming soon!

        included will be testimony from:
3 university physics professors, 2 meteorologists, a professor in biology, a professor in geology, and also 2 industrial engineers.

        Its pretty ground breaking stuff.

the mystery gasses would be coming from the ground, no? I’m thinking about fracking and the amount of chemicals they pump down there!! There’s a wave of fracking taking over the planet right now! Why weren’t any of the adults at this school in Poland getting sick? Vaccinations?? Between radiation and other industrial hazardous tom foolery, vaccinations, engineered viruses and a load of other crap, how the hell are we expected to survive?? Or maybe we’re not!!!

  • In my inbox today…unsubstantiated but very alarming.
THANK YOU, Ichi, for this vid. Just yesterday – or actually the day prior- local Olympic Penninsula media finally announced that debris had been washing up on our local beaches for two weeks. I personally feel it has been longer. Many locals are listless and have chronic coughs now; dogs are shedding massive amounts of hair. I also talked with a woman whose daughter just lost one of two premie twins. Both twins born at 24 weeks, very tiny, with massive organ deformation. On THAT SECTION OF THE NEONATAL WARD ALONE ( just THAT section) , there were , two weeks ago, 40 ( forty) similarly premie babies- ALL with severe birth defects. There you go- the data we are not being told. How heartbreaking. This was a hospital in either Seattle or Tacoma, she didn’t give me the name of it.
HOW DO WE INVESTIGATE THIS FURTHER??? The only (possible) birth defects I have been made aware of til now were in DENVER…I have been calling my OBGYN all week trying to confirm this, he wont return my calls…Im probably going to just show up there on Monday…he makes lots of time for reps, why wouldnt he talk to me?

    • Anthony Anthony

Ive been crossing fingers hoping no deformations would appear. Hoping. Sadly now should be the start of birth defects. I kept seeing celebs giving birth to normal after normal child. Maybe that created some false hope here. Sorry to learn of your family’s difficulty.

On a quick search, found at: http://www.washington.edu/medicine/pediatrics/specialties/neonatology, ‘The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital shares a 45-bed ICU with the Pediatric ICU and Cardiac ICU.’ In Tacoma, there’s the Tacoma General Hospital, Newborn Intensive Care Unit that has two 26-bed units, one for intensive care and intermediate care, according to http://www.multicare.org/home/nicu. This is two I found that have the equivalent of 40 beds. Babies with genetic defects likely need critical care. My heart goes out to anyone in a situation with a baby with multiple organ defects! If anyone has hospital neonatal experience, possibly they could find out more by networking.

A friend who lives down the street has had a low grade fever/flu that can’t be shaken; the condition has persisted for a month.

My cat has had a viral infection that is causing her breathing problems. The condition has persisted for a month.

I have some scratches on my arm (from the cat, I believe) that have not been healing although they looked better today. The condition has persisted for a few weeks.

Reporting (albeit not too often) from the Greater Toronto Area.

    • Quick update:
Friend in oregon blood clot almost killed her.

Weather is completely foggy from 2 am – 6pm.

Very disturbing. Whooping / cough going around. Many many affected. Entire puget sound region, Including seattle.

My ex’s sister just had premature twins in October…. As far as i understand they are healhty.

There is no word in Canada about anything related to this stuff. Its more freightening actually then if they were.

The recent passage of the NDAA in America and the one percenter delivering the Thrive movement which features depopulation is all really starting to disturb me.

  • Tanuki San

Those people in the picture look glad that they found all this great stuff from Japan. I hope they have geiger counters. I hope people in the States will return any important belongings they find from Japan that survived the trip across the ocean and the radiation.

    • WindorSolarPlease

      Hi Tanuki San,

      I hope so also.. +100

Most likely, people will sell what they find.
Greed has more influence, than doing what’s right.

  • James2

Folks, you cannot place any value whatsoever on knowing 1 person who had some kind of condition.

In this world, we all know of sick people everyday, and may or may not be related to radiation. It’s like when the global warmers would show a receding glacier and say it was “proof” – hello – even in steady-state 1/2 of the glaciers are receding.

This is why you need data.

If birth defects are spiking in Washington state – then that is a very, very bad sign, and a very simple set of discussion with a nurse working in that neonatal ward should be able to confirm it. They cannot give you information on individual patients, but if a spike is happening, they will see it first. Seattle should be a large enough population to confirm or deny an increase in birth defect rates easily. I would assume public health agencies would be tracking something like that.

    • WindorSolarPlease

      Hi James2

I agree with you, I also would assume public health agencies would be tracking something like that.

I just doubt we will be told of the results. Therefore, we look at people around us for any signs.

Hey guys, check out this great video report from Texas. It is about radiation in public water supplies. Huge coverup by Texas.
    http://www.khou.com/news/local/A-Matter-of-Risk–Radiation-Drinking-Water-and-Deception-129145553.html

Just remember that our government and governments are exactly the same as Japan’s. This debris needs to be tested as well as beaches and the water so we need to rally some Enenewsers from the area that are capable of getting readings.

  • Lee Binder

just watched the ridiculous 23 secs CBS video .. what scares me way more than the debris hitting is that both, the makers of it and the people collecting all that stuff and browsing through it are COMPLETELY ignorant towards the *potential* of radioactive contamination! There we have the biggest nuclear catastrophe on the planet, with the hugest amount of highly radioactive brew EVER contaminating the ocean, and all these idiots still don’t have a clue .. How ignorant and disinformed can one be .. I honestly don’t dig it .. The cynical part within me can only say, “actually good there is penalty for stupidity.. whoever touches such materials since what cannot be seen is not there deserves to eventually get sick, and suffer, the sooner the better ..”. Do we really deserve better? What if ALL things (incl. shit) happen for a purpose?

What sucks is that it always also affects those that (other than these d**che-bags in and creating the video which DO have choice to act smarter) do NOT have choice – babies, infants, children ..

    • WindorSolarPlease

      Hi Lee Binder

I can see how people would not understand about this disaster, or know how to protect themselves. I don’t blame the people on this, I blame the Governments and the Corporations not letting the information out.

Without stumbling onto this site, I would not know what I know now. When I say Thank you Enenews and everyone on here, I mean it)))

What is found on the beaches should be handled with care, tested for radiation, and then hopefully given back to the owner. Not sure how things can be given back to the right person, but it’s the right thing to do.

      • WindorSolarPlease

Correction: How I stumbled onto this site is through http://www.floridaoilspilllaw.com/ which the postings are sadly now close.

        • all the links within fosl search headings are broken :(
“Not Found. The requested URL /category/microbes-2 was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Perhaps Admin can fix this. idk. Sure would help those still doing GoM research.
