Rescue and rehabilitation wasn’t the [California Wildlife Center’s] only responsibility. Much of their work dealt with the pups that had died.

Duane Tom, veterinarian at the California Wildlife Center: “We were doing a lot of necropsy for them. We found a lot with abscesses — there were just large pockets of green and yellow puss all over their body — whether it’s in their lungs, in their liver. It looks like they got sick systemically.”

It has nothing to do with the radiated fish they consume..absolutely nothing. Its all safe levels..

Universities and Oceanic institutes baffled. Geiger counter collects dust while histories largest radionuclide discharge is occurring. No one dares say the R-word. Hint; the R-word causes neutropenia leading to infections, and also kills the food chain, lowering resistance by malnutrition. But then, Universities and labs everywhere know obvious stuff like that…

We are in big trouble. Sushi anyone? Sarcasm…..

    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

big trouble alright. History's biggest accident and not a scientist out there is willing consider radiation…its so pathetic.

This paper estimates at least 220,000,000 kg of sea life will die. Thats probably a grave underestimate.

Other points; cost over a trillion dollars, up to 8.6e17 Cs137 release, equal in damage to a four megaton hydrogen bomb, will kill at least a million people, 260,000 evacuated in the first two months but IAEA used 20 times the contamination limit for relocation after chernobyl
Harvested fish will contain 40 times the radioactivity of the sea water. Infectious, cardiovascular and other diseases are bigger contributors to death than cancer

it can be concluded that Fukushima is the biggest natural and industrial nuclear event which mankind ever experienced in its history

When you stand at the edge of the ocean, do you hear nature speaking with words?

What is it going to take for these sudo scientists to acknowledge this destruction?

What is it going to take for humans to awaken to this tragedy?

      Good question's Jebus !

Like having only 10 minutes left to live , that's the time to start shedding of some major delussions and addictions and give some things a honest thinking course the only thing left to realise by then is..too litle too late..but just in time to descent to radioactive Hell..that is our near future , but i think the word future is outdated imo
Let's just count the day's untill the top of the foodchain has only 10 minutes left to live , and enjoy the futile 10 minutes of global attitude changing becoming legal..but before that..according to our architect's of our society's…

Plenty of time to mambo jambo about banana's and economic and geo-political powerdynamic's..

Good thing i don't have godlike powers , in my not so subtle , or should i say , as subtle as needed cleaning proces, i would even take fire away from humankind..but leave the memory of what they could have become , and what they choose to do with that gift..
But a blank space in their brain how to make a spark or roll a wheel again , untill the planet has healed to the level before humans showed up..

      • DUDe DisasterInterpretationDissorder

Yes , it looks like we need help from outside aka miracle , preferably from someone wiser then humans , to decide what help we ( us/the planet/this part of the living universe as a whole ) need , knocking sense or something else , HELP.., in whatever shape or form..and are we still in the picture..

klaatu's technology would open up a lot of fun cleaning possibility's , but i would program to spare the truckdriver when eating his driving truck for example , i hope 😉

But depending on the human mood , unfortunatly the combination of wisdom and action seem's to be only one of them ..both a rather rare one..combined even more..

Humans with that technology feeling angry..would go both way's lol

So i leave it to whomever the shoe(s) fits , to save our souls as they see fit , assuming they have done this before hopefully…

Meanwhile.., just counting day's..for whatever transformation is coming..humankind smarting up..or outside help..or both.. or the slowly turning to death goo of the planet while sharing the faith and watching from the inside the cancer in the dying body does..that leaves us two choices so far..

Yep, Orwell would be horrified at the totality of the game.
There are many disturbed and damaged individuals on this earth, for sure. Many more perfectly sane individuals are tricked into believing the "I can help you" scam. Anyone who seeks help for one's own issues is consumed by "experts". Once you are "tagged" with a label, there is no return but for your own realization, that there is really nothing wrong with you. Your just having a bad day. And once the "treatment" begins, there is no possibility of that realization happening. If you accept the diagnosis, there is no way back, and you eat the "medicine". Your doomed as much as any addict. And the system wants it that way. Consumer control is the goal. From advertising to psychiatry to big pharma. It supports the system's corporate goals. It places you into a column for exploitation. It is truly a crime, how many fall for the false hope of someone else solving one's own internal issues. The only one who can truly heal your functioning mind, is you.

  • Then most scientists issue bafflegab statements;

All is normal, nothing unusual, studying the issue..

A good scientist or biologist could come up with the answer in about a week at most.

    The only conclusion a person with common sense can reach is;

    1. They are totally incompetent.

    2. They are tied to funding, and prohibited from speaking.

In other words, if they speak out, they lose their jobs. Scientists in Japan have admitted to this

It is much harder to believe that they are totally incompetent.

Sorry to go off topic, but there's been another outbreak of whiplash shillitis:

Media, 'watchdogs' make mountain of WIPP molehill
    Albuquerque Journal‎ – 16 hours ago
It's an opinion piece by Douglas Reilly/Retired Physicist:
''Douglas Reilly worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory 38 years and also worked at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria, and the European Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy.''
According to Reilly, ''The only reasoned article that I have read or heard on this incident appeared a couple weeks ago in the Albuquerque Journal. It was an op-ed column entitled 'Radiation levels after WIPP leak negligible'.
''Robert Hayes, a certified health physicist , wrote, 'Using data posted on the website, the largest potential dose was at the site boundary, where a maximum dose of around 3 mrem was possible if you stood by the air sampler for the full 15 hours.'
''The print and electronic media and 'watchdog groups' have made this nuclear radiation molehill into a mountain.
''One millirem – mrem – is a radiation dose that is approximately equivalent to what one would receive from eating 100 bananas (not necessary to eat them all at once).''

… and the Great Panjandrum Banana said to all the little bananas gathered from around the world: ''One day you will all be famous, go out, spread the word and rejoice.''

    • dosdos dosdos

I remember a skit in a comedy theater with which I associated, the opening number was Bananas! Las Vega showgirl chorus, Caribbean beat. "We are the girls who eat banana, we eat banana every day…." I am having a hard time getting that song out of my mind. "Ba-na-na.. ba-na-na.. banana oh so fine. Ba-na-na.. ba-na-na.. banana all the time."

Jeane had no idea what she had written….

    • Drop a comment there, expose the banana lie

  • Since cesium, strontium, americium and plutonium are now being labeled as safe as bananas to consume, when are the bananas fortified with cesium, strontium and plutonium coming out?

This has been ongoing for 3 years now, so let’s nail down a timeline:

    >> MARCH 2011
Japan has 3 nuclear meltdowns. The initial and the strongest radiation plume travels to Alaska

    >> JULY 2011
Barrow Alaska – ringed seals washing up dead, lethargic, labored breaking, patchy hair loss, skin ulcerations. Then bearded + spotted seals and walruses are found with same symptoms in Bering Strait.

    >> JULY 2011
NOAA rules out virus being the cause.

White spots on liver, hepatitis + fluid in lungs, abnormal growths in brain, undersized lymph nodes, bleeding/swollen internal organs.

    >> DECEMBER 2011
John Kelley at the U of Alaska Fairbanks was sent tissue samples from diseased seals from St. Lawrence Island. Results will not be available for “several weeks”

Mark, two data points. First point, NOAA commented on 'normal background radiation levels" in seals. They only reported on the HEALTHY seals tested(2012). Then silence after promising results on the sick seal studies in 'a couple weeks.' Secondly, recent queries to U of Alaska, Dr. Kelly, comment was made from the school, they did NOT have appropriate radiation testing equipment (too expensive). Therefore, real testing for radiation was NOT done in any cases..All part of the overall playbook as the 'dumb' public only pays attention to the first reports..and NEVER follows up.

Unlike Chernobyl, Fukushima was never brought under control, radiation spreads across the world – epidemiologist
The Voice of Russia has asked Joseph Mangano, epidemiologist and Executive Director of Radiation and Public Health Project research group, about the risks from the Fukushima fallout.
"This is different. This is over three years later. Radiation is still leaking into the air and it is still leaking into the Pacific Ocean and not in small amounts, but in very-very large amounts."
"We have found that on the west coast, which got hit the hardest, the rates of babies born with defective thyroid glands increased about 17 percent. And we found that infant deaths also increased in the US."
"However, here are some differences with Chernobyl. Number one, in Chernobyl there was one reactor that melted down. In Japan there were three reactors' cores that melted down. Number two, Chernobyl was a new plant and it only operated I think two or three years. In Fukushima these reactors have been operating for well over 30 years and the high-level waste was affected by the meltdown. And the other difference is that, again, Chernobyl was buried within two or three months. In this case it is three years later and it is still not under control and the emissions are continuing, and eventually they are coming across the world."

Nationalize Big Nuke!!! (we already own the excess risk with Price Anderson) …

and shut all these Poison Factories (thank you Helen C.) down!!!

Soon we may all be too lethargic to do the deed …

    peace 'newsers …. rock on!

    • Yep, if we want this shite gone, we are going to have to pay for it. Face reality on that one.

But in the meantime, we can at least force some of these corporations who can be and want to be ongoing concerns, to become owners of solar farms, pumped hydro facilities, ground source heat pump farms, and everyone gets to keep their jobs, but the profits are diverted to the nuke cleanup/decomissioning, NOW and not 60 years from now.

Or incenticise them….those who shut down in the next two years, get to let a half life decay of 30 years before their decomission work in earnest has to start….but others must start within 5 years, after the spent fuel has all been casked.

One filmmaker’s mission to show the world the real Fukushima, and how you can help
    April 21 2014

    Cameron Anderson

"Cameron has also seen how the news, careless comments shared via social networks, and a general fear of the unknown have caused people around the globe to label this land as a giant, black spot on the map of Japan, with stories popping up online every few weeks about tides of non-existent radioactive seawater and the prefecture’s potentially hazardous exports."

    Mr. Cameron..
    A. By your credentials you are not qualified to levy correctness to any scientific position in this matter.
    B. Perhaps your story telling best left in the field of theatre ..the land of manipulated finale.
    C. Careless comments? so?

    HOW SO?

So much tra-la ..about living in the area…yet you lie to the people.
    You lie to yourself.

    As I tell the story..
    You receive your line.
You are in your position .. and I in mine.

  • What a farce this "article" is. WIPP has been trying to compare Plutonium to radiation from say, a banana. The W(r) multiplier for plutonium is 115,000. that means Plutonium is that many time more dangerous than common radiation sources. Among the knowledgable anti radiation educated, anyone who pulls out the "banana is dangerous" myth, is immediately discredited. It is a lie out of the gate. In fact the DOE in their radiation guidance has two categories under radiation risk
    1) Plutonium
    2) all other radiation

Such is the great risk. This website has an explanation for normal people, that clearly shows the risks of WIPP.

Last week I bought a humble Maceral for our dinner from TESCO supermarket ( sounds like TEPCO! ) When I came to gut it, I opened its belly and out poured a pinky white liquid goo! All it's flesh had turned to thick liquid. I was very nearly sick on the spot and couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day. I'm "baffled, befuddled, bewildered and bemused……"
Memo to cellf – stop reading enenews (never!) – it puts weird thoughts into my head – like are the effects of Fuku already manifesting on the North West coast of Scotland where I live? HELP!

    Please forgive off topic
The NETC site is lit up under the rain in the midwest. Might want to dodge this rain. IMHO
When is the salmon run? I hope this is the year some of those pics hit the media. Why haven't ordinary citizens been posting what they see? Where are the pics of these sea lions? Is there debris washing up on the west coast? not the information age I imagined. sry needed to vent HAGD enenews-ers and as many have said before me…Thank you to the administers of this site.

    • Shaker1

yellowrain, there isn't just one salmon run. Many species, and the runs vary all through the spring, summer, and fall here in the PNW. Here you can find a chart of species/timing. (Please understand that I just linked to the first chart I saw and am not representing this particular guide. Almost any guide will have a similar chart on their website.)

And, yes, debris is washing up on the coast. I don't believe it's much reported outside of large items or in the local dailies.

They've been marking (with large, painted numbers), capturing, and/or killing sea lions along the Columbia for the last couple of years because of pressure from the sport-fishing crowd and likely even the commercial fishing industry with complaints that the lions take too many salmon. Much of this happens at Bonneville Dam, where the fish congregate to attempt to climb the fish ladders to their spawning streams, but my understanding is that the efforts to cull them is in force from the estuary at Astoria to the dam itself. There are people fighting this program.

Not really O/T. It is the time of the year to sew Seven-top Turnip seeds into your garden. It is one of the most user friendly greens available! I had seen a data sheet with the anti-inflammation rating for this particular plant, but could not locate it quickly again. Once you try these you will understand! I had a 9×18" leaf last August; the stem was about 2" wide, it was a tender as possible, not stringy at all! Great food!
    Go sew 'em somewhere today?

      • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar VanneV

Thanks Sol Man,I just got some Purple Top White Globe turnip seeds, organic and heirloom from, but haven't planted them yet. I've never grown turnips before.

        • Sol Man

So glad to hear that you will try them. The Seven-top Turnip is an heirloom seed from the early 1800's bred for their greens- so the bulb stays actually very small and more needle-like, but the leaves-OO-la-la! I either cook them with olive oil and lots of garlic S&P on the stove top, enjoy with Oil and vinegar- rice or white wine, preferred. Or, I cook the leaves up in a pan of filtered water, pour off the water and drink it when I'm thirst from the refrigerator, very non-inflammatory! VanneV, the turnip roots are fine, but the leaves are a different trip!

Today, Earth Day I am casting all sorts of seeds around town to grow wherever they may take. Flax and the rest of my collection. On the first Earth Day in the Kettle Moraine State Park area of Wisconsin I helped to clean up an area where the water cress grew and the water bubbled out of the bluff. I stepped on a giant puff ball, almost the size of a basketball, releasing septagillions of spores out into the world. I am for life, living and things that enhance that. I know that you and most all people here are also.

I saw one comment where the complaint was everyone is deaf, dumb and blind. This is not the case. There are the non-believers and the total ignorant, but certain govt agencies and rich elites that understand what is going on all too well. They both are quietly preparing for the upheaval and lack of resources that will be the new 'normal'. One example is the that there is a new large track of land being prepared near Bakersfield by the govt secretly. Large walls are use to conceal what is happening there. Looks to those who discovered it, that this is an internment camp. This is starting to get scary when such a corrupt, non-transparent tyrant is in power.

    • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Love it! "upheaval and lack of resources".

I guess when you trash all your natural resources with Manmade Nuclear Radiation Contamination there might be some upheaval to be expected in the future. 🙂

  • radiation, gmo and biowarfare are the kitchen tools of the butcher clans of evil.
radiation, mutations. life spans cut short and brutality from the tinmen.
conscience free roid raging forces continually raping, murdering and plundering the masses to prop up failed attempts to cover their crimes while feasting in the palaces financed by debt collateralized to the unborn.
radiation mutations, future generations free of tumors and cancers will be the talk of concerned, baffled and befuddled doctors wondering how they might be normalized by surgery and pharma.

banana republic indeed when the banana is filled with plutonium instead of potassium by mere proclamation of the collaborations of the debt slave re-education class.

16 years after Nuclear Radiation Contamination and it's DNA scrambler potential was released onto the sleeping world we have this to now deal with.. 🙁 What will be coming next?

    • name999 name999

obewan, I wonder if MRSA gets triggered by toxins like Agent Orange? Similar timeline when this
      started blooming in hospitals.

  • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

Anything is possible and this is very real growing problem and agent orange I think is no longer widely used, but Manmade Nuclear Radiation Contamination Waste is still spewing everywhere in volume based on increasing background radiation readings. Certainly a super bug now.. 🙁

I hope one of the regular readers/commenters can help me find a long-ago link to video taken from the web cams showing the Fukushima NPPs and a scene of a bird flying above one of them and suddenly plummeting to the ground. The image has never left my mind. I know some members regularly monitor the webcams, and hope someone remembers this. Thanks in advance.

    • Sparky Sparky

ChasAha, can you help J. out on this request? I think this was your excellent in-flight-bird-falling video capture from about the end of Dec. 2013.

It may have been on the old, mal-functioning WebCam forum. I tried to access that archived forum from the above link and got the "web site can't be displayed" or similar message. I went back into the the archived commments on this new forum to find it. Whew–what a trip down Memory Lane!

I think this particular video was memorable for a lot of Enenewsers: spontanious, stark display of death by Fuku radiation.
