Radioactivity at intake of No.3 reactor rises, NHK, May 16, 2011:
Tokyo Electric Power Company says it measured 200 becquerels of cesium-134 per cubic centimeter on Sunday morning near the water intake of the No. 3 reactor. The level was higher than on the previous day, when it was 2,300 times the legal limit. [...]
TEPCO also reported 2,100 times the legal limit of radioactive iodine was found in seawater near the water intake of the No. 2 reactor. Three points among four research areas along the shoreline also exceeded the legal limit. And 1.7 times the legal limit of Cesium was found close to drainage gates near the No. 5 and No. 6 reactors.

The entire site at this time needs to be flooded. A giant “lake” needs to be build, we should be drilling underneath to shore up ( and maybe run pipes ) Concrete and earth walls need to start around the facility. Lastly, the fronage needs to be filled in as well and walled off from the ocean.
Once this is build, you cool the entire “lake” and start the job of sending subs in to remove the stuff. Everything must be flooded, building, rooms, everything.
just my idea. if they can build islands in Saudi Arabia, surely we can build the lake.

Sorry, but I think TEPCO would think that resolution would cost too much! They are still watching their budget on this little problem and they aren’t looking at the big picture….which might be a map of the world without the island of Japan on it…..TEPCO is still worried about their profit margins.

I think that before people can take action, they have to know the truth and obtain as much information as possible. Then they will have to work through their denial system and feel the feelings. Then they can take action. That is pretty much the psychology we are up against.
And instead of fighting amongst our selves we need to unify and
work as a team. If we don’t, we are sunk for sure.
