Title: Cleanup From Fukushima Daiichi: Technological Disaster Or Crisis In Governance?
Source: Fairewinds Energy Education
Author: Art Keller
Date: June 13, 2013

[...] One of the first demonstrations conducted by [Kevin Wang]’s team was at a Japanese school still in routine use. The contamination was widespread and included troubling accumulations of radiation in biological materials. While the asphalt driveway was contaminated, the grass next to it was four times as radioactive as the asphalt. The worst were the patches of fungus on the bleachers at the school’s baseball field, which had sucked-up radionuclides to such a degree that they were emitting radiation at 70-times the contaminated asphalt.

[Sam Engelhard, an industrial hygenist and certified radiation protection technologist] described the chilling phenomena of the fungus-turned-radiation-sponge as, “a remarkable example of biological amplification.”

Wang said it more bluntly, “A boy sitting on that patch to watch a baseball game could do real damage to his gonads.” [...]

That shows that Organized Crime is similar around the world :
" Disgusted at the shoddy cleanup work being done by the construction firms, Masafumi Shiga, president of a refurbishing company in Fukushima , told the New York Times simply, “ What’s happening on the ground is a disgrace ” .

The problem those crooks encoutered is kind of unique in their 'business' when come to erasing evidence : they found it's hard to make radiation dissapear !

Japanese Researchers Use Microbes to Remove Cesium in Water & Soil – Updated Info 06/07/11

I'm still wonder if this is a bioremediation experiment gone bad.
The experiment..considers cesium..which might be utilized by the microorganism..but they failed to consider the full spectrum of isotopes…that also would be absorbed.
If this experiment was implimented…it is an 'open air'.
Done with the usual short-sightedness…as little thought was given to the containment and control of the microorganism itself.
Other naturally occurring microbes (mutating?)..taking up this activity as well?
    Not good.

    Cesium..like McD's..everywhere.

Like Sunflowers the Microbes collect the radiation and then what do you do with the Microbes or Sunflowers which are now contaminated. Sounds like transference and not decontamination. Microbes sounds rather dire to me, making a new cyanobacteria? Who knows what could happen. JMHO

Ah, the fungus, the fungus. Final liquidator. The new reigning kingdom. Cant kill it! Hyphae spreading invisibly through all compromised tissue. People dont know it, but everyone is sick from mycotoxins to some degree, ubiquitous in stored grains.potentized by dish washers, growing unseen in your house, destroying your immune system, causing cancers and illness. It pierces tissues with over a thousand pounds per square inch in an unstoppable invasion. Super radioactive fungus, they just couldnt have anticipated it, just like all the other faulty risk analysis when they ASSURED us the chance of disaster was infinitesimally small. With three exploded, melted down and leaking reactors, they continue with their same dialogue with a twist; anti nukers are terrorists. So sci-fi!

"Mutated plants, fungus, dying trees (2013 edition).
    Posted on April 20, 2013

Mutated cone flower in Alabama, April 2013
The tree damage seen last year has not abated. Mutated plants continue to appear as more low-level radiation streams over from Japan. From Dr. Satoshi Mori’s blog (poorly translated by Google)…

The tree damage can be seen in Iceland, western Europe, Indonesia, Fiji, the Maldives, India, Canary Islands, Madagascar, and recently in Australia. But it seems to be the worst in the USA and Canada.

The growth of fungus and mold is promoted by radiation (8-12). What is happening is that Fuku, the oil spill and sinkhole emissions are weakening the trees. Fungi enter the weakened tree, encounter radioactive substances, and then grow like crazy.

A fungal meningitis outbreak of injectable drugs prepared at the New England Compounding Center has killed 53 people. Injectable products have been recalled from Med Prep Consulting, Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Pallimed Solutions Inc., and Hospira Inc., due to contamination with fungus…

"Radioactive black fungus in Japan, blowing to the US.

…It was shown in a previous post here that an astounding amount of fungi were transported across the Pacific from Japan to the US in spring 2011. It is springtime again, and this is the season for fungus transport.

It is likely that fungi are growing on the spent fuel pools and underground coriums. Tepco announced that they are adding hydrazine to the pools in order to control the growth of microorganisms. But these fungi are highly radioresistant, and probably can tolerate toxic chemicals also. They are almost certainly mutated by radiation…"

Fact is, we've all been irradiated. And forced to become more irradiated, thanks to nuclear.

When this fungus becomes airborne, people might be able to contract fungal lung diseases which cause breathing problems, fungal pneumonias, fungal meningitis…even death.

Years ago I heard of people who moved to Arizona ending up with a fungal lung disease called “Valley Fever.”

I’m wondering now if it could caused by a radiation-induced fungus from atomic testing?

Fungus is may be the best known bioaccumulator, and a difficult one to clean. Living pretty comfortably on and inside human body!Dr.Simonchini suspected fungus is the cause of various kinds of cancer and treated his patients with baking soda:
    http://simoncini-cancer-center.com/en/treatment
How to prevent yourself of thinking that fungus hikes for raioisotopes in human body? About the use of baking soda in desactivating uranium for example, most of you know.
I want to share with you the observation of one farmer, I met in a train. He said, that whenever he does cleaning of the accumulated with years dung near his barn, his thyroid gland makes him sick.So many years after Chernobyl, and a thousand+ kilometers away, radionuclides go through the food chain, and the waste product cosidered one of the best fertilizers in fact is far from clean!
Sediments near the rivers, and the river fish are accumulators as well.

If I was to hazard a guess, the asphalt repeals the contaminated rain water, the camber of the road causes the contaminated water to accumulated at roads edge and after road is dry, cars pass and blow contamination to verge at road side.
Makes you wonder about fungal organisims and there tolerance to radiation, what's their edge, good chance these were the first organisms to thrive on land at a time when the background radiation was much higher, just a theory. By the way there is no nutritional value in a mushroom, no calories, what a strange organism.

Folks, Abe has ended second effort at Decontamination.
    http://www.simplyinfo.org/?p=10508
Remember the stories that each new spring run off from the mountains put down new contamination? Meaning that Decon had to be redone? Well, no more. The Abe administration has quietly syspended the second Decon practice, and dialed way back on the entire Decon effort. Apparently, TPTB have admitted, at least among themselves, that Decon is impossible. The Japanese will simply have to live in a contaminated environment.
    Japan is toast. :(
