This was the typhoon bringing the rads down, I believe. Not sure what the levels indicate. Are they ‘get out of Dodge’ high or just ‘kill you later’ high?

she’s not going anywhere. she said this last time, she loves the attentions you people love to give her, credibility that really isn’t deserved. you know what they say, “if you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t”, she did a lot of the latter, and you all feed onto it like leeches.
i for one think this is a good thing, maybe new users won’t be afraid to post because she won’t be here to attack them for having a differing opinion than hers.

Dear Whoopie: Excellent post on SONGS. Thank you very much. I’m not in SoCal (NorCal–Oakland area) but appreciate your passing on these PUBLIC efforts at decomissioning nuke plants, which will eventually lead to FORCING these monstrous human morons (execs, operators, “scientists”) in the nuke plant to cooperate with we the public, not with and for themselves and profiteering billionaires “invested” in nuke plant profiteering. Since I posted this, someone at HP posted of feeling nauseated RIGHT ABOUT that time last month. It’d be curious to see how many DID feel sick back then. RADIATION poisoning I’m sure. Maybe we could get a POLL up for people to take. I’m sure some of you great writers could come up with the RIGHT QUESTIONS about this time last month. In fact, POLLS are a great idea about any of this. Anybody have a website to do it? Or guess poll places are available. I’d be great at SPREADING THE LINK.

0.05 microsieverts is a spike? More like a blip. I eat 0.15 microsieverts for breakfast. But the blip did occur in many places at the same time. Something happened.

Here’s a spike from Cleveland, Ohio on or about September 2, 2011. If you scroll down the page, and click on other Ohio cities, you’ll notice that same spike during the same time, but registering even higher. At 300 for Cleveland, I’ve never seen it this high and it’s usually below 100. I’m guessing that Fort Calhoun had something to do with the spike, but maybe not. Also, a Michigan nuke plant was recently leaking.

The spikes above the background mean that something new had come in the air at the level of the monitors. There are such spikes from time to time at some of the German stations. If the data appears the same day it may help people to avoid inhaling the particles – staying indoors or wearing masks.

Daughter took a flight yesterday with some Japanese soldiers and a few US Marines on her trip from Seattle to Yakima. Made me think: How are our troops getting along with all this radiation in the water, food, land, and people while they are stationed over in Japan? I haven’t heard boo.

The Army has been lying just like Tepco and parroting the same tired old lines. Stars and Stripes newspaper has as many taboo words as Tepco.

But I have talked to soldiers who returned from Japan and they knew Honshu is Fukooed. Facebook is pretty similar, but not many care to buck the system too blatantly. They are nervous, but we’re not talking too many Rhodes scholars in the volunteer army. Their proximity to the danger does make them more informed than American citizens stateside.
