  • Flapdoodle Flapdoodle

The time to be “concerned” was before the site was chosen.

I’ve heard of euphemisms, but this is probably one of the greatest understatements of all time.

    • And the recent months leading up to this were also a good time to be “concerned” (especially for the “officials” who without one doubt knew this was all coming, as any ordinary person has been able to see!) during which time all kinds of drastic steps could have been taken to protect the Ft Calhoun plant, PRIOR to the waters getting this high.

However, it seems clear that the PTB actually WANT this disaster and are doing everything to make sure it happens, just as it appears with Los Alamos – where are the national resources of every kind (like the 747 water bomber and whatever else that people have been mentioning in comments) being rushed in to help stop the fire?! WHERE?!

For some time, a number of folk (including myself) have certainly been looking at these events as a pre-planned (or “scripted”) multiple-catastrophe-situation that is being intentionally created at this time by the PTB in their drive to take full control of the world (keep in mind that an irradiated, sick and dying populace is MUCH easier to control than a healthy, strong and non-irradiated populace):

These articles are already “historical” in the sense that the situation has become even worse in the past two days (as per the CNN article). However, the point in linking these articles is to REMIND people that with “eyes open” it can be quite straight forward to see in advance what is “coming” (= planned to happen by the PTB, for all their many and varied reasons).

      • And an article from the EX-SKF blog:

=> June 28th: “Fort Calhoun Nuke Plant: Borated Water in Reactor, Spent Fuel Pool, Normal Procedure, Says Plant CEO”

        http://ex-skf.blogspot.com/2011/06/fort-calhoun-nuke-plant-borated-water.html

Quote: “… the CEO of the plant says he and his people are battling ‘blowing in the wind’ rumors like the Japanese government over Fukushima I Nuke Plant and radiation contamination. But if you look at the accompanying video, it makes you wonder: why weren’t they better prepared, if this flooding was totally expected and it is business as usual, as the CEO tries to tell us?”

=> Ah yes, every concern is labelled a “rumour” by every “official” once again, just as it was before the truth about Fukushima was finally revealed during the month of May (two months after the fact). As is pointed out in the above quote, the whole situation and the obvious LACK of preparation DOES make one wonder!

        • BTW: The CNN news video from yesterday (June 28th) in that EX-SKF article above is DEFINITELY worth a look. It shows the punctured “aqua dam / berm” thing sitting flacidly in the muddy soup, as well as water levels all around the plant that look, well… BAD.

As was said in the EX-SKF article:

“By the way, I don’t think this video is what CNN intended to upload. The only intended part seems to be the brief interview with the CEO. The rest of the video shows punctured aqua dam, pumping of water from behind the sandbags, not very assuring.”

In addition, starting at 0:41 and going to 0:45 are some faint words in the background (possibly from someone who works at the plant?) that sound like:

“We don’t want to be able to see that there’s multiple pedestals. How high they are and what kind …”

The video then breaks to water rushing and the volume goes WAY up, right at the end of the above faintly captured comment. I have repeatedly listened to this with some adjustments to improve the audio quality (and also running it at 1/2 speed to give more time to make out the words) and the above statement is what I have consistently been hearing.

Perhaps someone was giving instructions to the camera person that they shouldn’t allow footage of the pedestal to get to the public? If anyone can make out the words any better than my attempt, then please put a comment here!

what is under this reactor? this sounds like the ground could heave and the whole thing sink.

Now that would be a mess.

Closing in? The plant is already sitting in water. What, exactly is the water ‘closing in’ on? I am afraid to ask.

just been listening to a bbc radio discussion about nuclear energy in the uk.
how we need a new generation of reactors.
fukishima was seen as old technology and some nuclear stooge stated thousands are killed because of coal every year nobody has died in japan because of radiation.
this propaganda filth was followed by the news, nothing about los alamos the world famous fatboy bomb site.nothing about fort calhoun.

this nuclear stuff is like the twilight zone with bill shatner.
nobody else can see the beast on the airplane wing but bill.
    everyone thinks he is insane.
that is it,we are all insane on this site nobody else can see this nuclear nightmare.

There is a heap of “coal bad nuke good” on WNN facebook. The shills basically saying this as a first line defence. Now there seems to be more opposition to the WNN party line viewpoint there than previously.

Thank goodness for that. It is good to see this rubbish being opposed.

And now to add insult to injury there’s a mass invasion of jellyfish obstructing the water cooling filters at Thorness Nuclear Plant (Scotland).

Two 640 MW reactors have been shut down since Tuesday. They cannot be restarted before 5th, 6th July – if no second wave of wobbly invaders arrives . . .

  • Check out this letter from Sen. Ben Nelson to the Army Corps of Engineers:

    http://www.wowt.com/news/headlines/Nelson_Asks_Corps_To_Consider_Nuclear_Plants_124729414.html?ref=414

Apparently the Corps doesn’t consider the nuclear plants in making their decisions about how much water to release up river.

Corps spokesman Erik Blechinger stated, “Nebraska’s two nuclear plants aren’t being factored into the Army Corps of Engineers schedule of dam releases.”

The Corps of Engineers is too busy trying to buy flooded properties. Can you say conflict of interest?

“Feds buying up farmland they flooded; Soros in on it”

      http://www.blacklistednews.com/Feds_buying_up_farmland_they_flooded%3B_Soros_in_on_it/14463/0/0/0/Y/M.html

      “Corps letter causes dust-up
Army Corps of Engineers officials are blaming “unfortunate timing” for some ruffled feathers over a letter that recently was sent to 17 northwest Missouri residents.

A copy of the letter, obtained by The Star, showed the Army Corps offering to buy private land along the Missouri River for a wildlife conservation project. The letter was dated June 6, when floodwaters were beginning to rise.

“Some people took it as a slap in the face,” said Tom Waters, president of the Missouri Levee and Drainage District Association, which represents a consortium of interests along the river.

Karl Mueller, chief of civil works for the Army Corps’ Kansas City office, said the agency was not taking advantage of the flooding to buy land and that the letters were part of a longstanding project. He said several people interested in selling their property had called.

I have to say, that if just one of these spineless congressmen would step up to the plate and demand answers to the most serious questions facing the people in peril, PUBLICLY, that they would be at the top of my list for reelection. If they could actually get straight answers, then they would be even higher on that list.
Sadly, it’s probably not going to happen…

Yes, Cali really got wacked too, the past two days. I felt sick to my stomach within minutes, if not hours. Eyes burn, cough and feel like pure crap-ola! The rain actually burned the skin off of three slugs on my deck yesterday. I sat there watching them die,…crying. Roommates are ready to 51/50 me, but I’m a wirey one! :-)
