its cute how they put the leak areas just above the fuel debris rather at the bottom where it surely is.

TEPCO, "Because these alleged unsanctioned positive spontaneous vents inappropriately, and unexpectedly blossomed approx .05E3 cm below material levels in each of the 3 noted areas in the handy handout diagram above, we have implemented & successfully utilized " 'Abe's Famous!' Vid serves as another reminder of how horrible nuclear technology is.

Fukushima is one of many nuclear disasters …it can happen anywhere.

You can show me diagrams till the sun goes down, but untill I see with my two beady eyes inside reactors, either visual or xray what ever, you can make all the pretty drawings you like but it proves nothing but conjure and speculation.
Yes logic may say one thing but we all know that variables some time come into play and since we are playing with something that we do not fully comprehend you don't know with absulote certainty.
Always look on the bright side and live in hope, for that is all we have.

Nobody will be doing basement repair anytime soon weeman so neither you or I will probably live to see the cracks down in Units 1-3 examined. I expect they will be filling them solid with concrete anyway within the jext year or so.

Anne Kaneko (a blogger living in harm's way but nit especially worried she is going to croak from the pollution) gives this report last month on the state of the bad trio of reactors:

"Reactor 1 is covered over with a white roof (levels outside 300 μSv/hr, levels inside: 11 Sv/hr), Reactor 2 is the only one with the building intact (levels inside: 72 Sv/hr), Reactor 3 badly damaged but with the debris being removed (no success yet in measuring levels inside), and at Reactor 4 that unstable roof has been removed and a structure is being built alongside to take the cranes etc. which will remove the spent fuel stored there, work which will start in November. (Radiation in Reactor 4 is not at fatal levels as the reactor was not in operation and contained no fuel at the time of the disaster.)"

    Kinda very,extremely)late…CNN..
They must be trying to pick up some viewers on the back of the (suspicious)coverage of the Boston Marathon Bombing incident.

  • Diagram confirms what we all have been saying for over a year. The fact it is a news story on CNN television in California means this story can't be totally buried. Think they may be trying to prepare us for worse news. I'll be swimming in the Pacific with my kids this summer but not eating pacific fish. Think Bio-accumulation.

There is a scheduled "nuclear" drill in Los Angeles for April 28. A video was put up and deleted before I had time to understand what was being said. Perhaps this CNN story is a warm up to the drill.

I'm pretty sure some knucklehead is mis-reporting this weekend's *Latah* Coounty Idaho (Not Los Angeles Co.) disaster preparedness drill. It's not nuclear-related and does not involve the military (that I know of). It's a mass casualty exercise for area first responders. Only FEMA Coalition members are allowed to know this, so forget that you ever heard it.

One HOPES that any Idaho or Federal law enforcement involved would consider practicing NOT blocking direct ambulance access to serious trauma victims. EMT and fire are big boys and girls. Warn them if there's a risk, and then get the hell out of their way if they want to enter.

Frickin wheelchairs and plywood for dying blast victims? Which cowardly Boston or Fed official is f'in responsible for that decision?

Any law enforcement or government official – ANYONE – involved in any way with impeding fire or medical vehicle access to victims in Boston last weekend should be listed on Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's criminal complaint as an accomplice to terror.

Americans are eventually going to realize that law enforcement blocked fire and medical vehicles from Boylston St. last weekend. Cops/Feds? Or Fire/Medical? Yeah – I think everyone knows which side 310 Million Useless Eaters would pick as being on 'our' side.

This graphic is pathetic. Really this is the best they could do? What's next, crayon sketches?

"…CNN Reporter: But these [fisher]men lost their faith in Tepco a long time ago…"

It's OK little CNN reporter. We lost all faith in your reporting even longer ago than that. Shouldn't you be coaxing us into a war or telling us about the economic recovery?

PLEASE don't try to make your network relevant – it's… well, kind of embarrassing. And you're only hurting your chances of future employment at RT or Al Jazeera.

Wow, pave. that's one of the best analysis I've heard yet. Really. There's a lot more to the "story" though.

For everyone else, maybe. I was only concerned with the bizarre absence of ambulances, spook overload and weird explosion suggesting that the whole thing might be fake. Nothing from the officials or MSM was believable. Sad reflection on the NDAA/CISPA state when your first inclination is to try to figure out who is conning you this time and why.

The rest of the story is largely irrelevant to me. The brothers are a perfect example of ill people I keep calling psychopaths. Psychopaths are always dangerous, period. What kind of power, wealth or control were they supporting? I don't give a damn – it will always be something, somewhere.

The U.S. sucks at being a superhero to the world. We let our most psychopathic leaders fight whack-a-mole villains on our dime and then stand by stupidly as our corporations proceed to corrupt and exploit any possibility that those 'free' peons will be any less miserable.

Peons are miserable here and most of that misery exists because the rich and the government have morphed into an amorphous, self-serving parasitic blob that rigged the legal and voting system.

The No. Hemisphere is affected by many of the leaks but we have yet to see a useful MSN report. Today Mike Adams picked up on an article from Singapore on the recent underground storage leaks. He ADDED to that story that this has caused atmospheric radiation. Can someone help me with my confusion over this? Many thanks!
