How cool is Bonnie Rait?
So cool that she is holding a meet-in-greet to benefit the Chicago anti-nulcear group Nuclear Energy Information Service (NEIS)before her concert in Chicago in May.

We are pathetic (our species where English speaking in Global North in particular) when something like this is posted as hopeful. Is it that the establishment "cares" about this? Are we supposed to be impressed that either Stephen Colbert or Bonnie Raitt are risking their careers to piss off media ownership? I'm so not impressed. They should be sacrificing their LIVES from their positions of UNearned disproportionate power…success within capitalism is not valid. Of course the most valuable actions are actions in the present without preverication and without fawning respectfully (fearfully) over the written and unwritten rules of the status quo. Screw the celebrities. Let them rot, radiologically, as they are with the rest of us. It will take a lot more than that to impress me. Unlike most Americans of the U.S., I have self esteem.

We are not going to be recognized by the infinitely distorted and corrupt establishment. We are not going to be lead out of this problem; we will lead and liberate all of those LIKE US, or we will perish, without the faintest doubt in the most pathetic manner.

By the way, Both Colbert and Raitt are still sold out and have not unsold-out themselves.
