Description: I cat kitten in front of the house parents in the neighborhood. Would be the bright red left eye towards the children. Chatter and I would do? No pain but wants look pretty in the tail of a cat playing with my mother.

UPDATE: Eye swelling a symptom of thyroid disorder -- I often hear how childrens' eyes become swollen after being in radiation-contaminated sandboxes, says Japanese organizer... Remember the kitten? (VIDEO)

So sad but I’m so ANGRY. Damn.

  • Ariana

    Next up: babies.
Nothing to see here folks, just normal deformities. Radiation? What radiation? Those cats just aren’t keeping a positive outlook.

    • excecutioner

      Well said Ariana!

    • Did you see the Two-Legged Chihuahua in FORUM: Possible Fukushima-related Anomalies — Deformations, page 2

      • StillJill StillJill

Yes Doc,….the chihuahua is rather near me, so I forwarded your link to the lady who got me started breeding chihuahuas 12 years ago. I am certain Tanya has at least called, or gone down already. I’m serious. Tanya is part chihuahua herself! She has a three-legged Chi,…why not two-legged? They are well to do,…and the care of their Chi’s,…well,…if there is reincarnation-I want to be one of Tanya’s dogs! (Teasing folks!) :-)

This video if from Fukushima, was taken in the middle of the summer. I’ve spent enough time in Japan to know this is the sound of the summer. You’d have to go to Kysushu or the Ryukyu island to hear that now. This cat is about 4 months old, so he was conceived around the time of the fukushima incident. Therefore it’s unlikely this defect has anything to do with fukushima. There are actually a lot of cats with this kind of conditions.

  • Whoopie Whoopie

“he was conceived around the time of the fukushima incident”
“From the eighth to the fifteenth week of pregnancy, the embryo or fetus is sensitive to the effects of radiation on the central nervous system. But here again, the exposure has to be very high. http://www.hps.org/hpspublications/articles/pregnancyandradiationexposureinfosheet.html

@ jonjon – the gestational period for cats is around 9 and a half weeks, therefore by your own calculations this poor kitten has been irradiated in the womb, I would say that this kitty is younger than you estimate however. This condition is not common in cats, unless they are exposed to toxicity or poison. Wake up and smell the roses….

    • Whoopie Whoopie

Good point Grace. And I remember FDairy’s post on Roses. Incredibly done, showing the gradual deformed roses, month by month. There is just no DENYING ANY LONGER. :(

    • alasanon

Clearly, there was a break on the eye DNA for this kitten.
My cat had 5 litters of kittens, outdoors, indoors, rain or shine, and I’ve never even seen any defect at all before…much less something like that on an organ so important to a small animal–it’s definitely congenital & not an injury. I’ve always found cats & kitten to be extremely adaptable and hardy…That’s a shame & a real testament to the danger of radiation!

    • Anthony Anthony

I agree with you Grace. I have NEVER seen a cat with such an eye anywhere. My cat had kittens after 311, no problems…. but she was in Canada not Japan.

Just thinking this morning and I think we can all have an immediate impact on the industry we so luv.

In the Philadelphia PA (PECO) area a choice of electrical power provider is offered. I choose to use the provider than is 100% renewable (wind and solar). I am thinking about writing letters and asking the service and product suppliers that I use if they use nuclear power in their process. Are any of the parts, warehouses, etc, using the products of nuclear power? If so I will let them know that I am looking for alternatives to their service (regardless of how much I like their service) and I may find a completely different way to live my life and stop using that service all together.

I think this is an immediately implementable and powerful tool for making our voices heard.

It will not stop the nuclear industry. They are part and parcel of the present agenda and that will have to be changed via other methods.

:) Please feel free to post this anywhere and do what you like with it. :)

It looks like the momma cat is a little concerned about this kitten….what are they doing in Fukushima anyway???!

Please stop abusing your young ones, Japan!!!

  • oscar419

:( not kewl…. All the abandoned domestic and the wild animals are in for the struggle of a lifetime and a very steep learning curve. So many people must be devastated at having to leave their pets behind especially if they are like the pets in this household: family members…

  • vivvi

Remember for every mutation you can see, there are likely hundreds you cannot see. If this cat had a damaged liver, or weak bones for example, you wouldn’t see a dramatic photo, but the damage would have consequences, visible or not. Same for humans, a baby can be born looking perfectly fine and have invisible radiation damage that shows itself years later. Nuclear shills make me feel sick, lying bastards.

  • PoorDaddy PoorDaddy

Welcome to the tip of the iceberg of post-apocalytic planet Earth. Mad Max, here we come!

  • beamofthewave

Oh, that poor baby. I am so glad my daughter is healthy and happy and does not have that problem. We have got to find out how to get more of these pictures into the main stream media so people can see the effects of radiation.
