Mr. Yastel Yamada, a retired engineer and founder of the Fukushima Skilled Veterans Corps: However, one more difficulty there. In the case of the Three Mile Island, 35% of the debris was powder.
If you see the powder in the water, could be dispersed in the water and you cannot see the debris from the top. So it makes this part very serious.
… If the powder debris is dispersed then the work is almost impossible, I don’t know what would happen in the future.

While the rest of the world is happy "thinking" TEPCO and Japan are in control of FUKU R1-4 know that TEPCO, Japan and the IAEA have no clue what to actually do…
… "Where's Waldo" was always a fun hide and seek game, NO?

If it is powder, then it is already in the ocean spreading and entering the water cycle
I was writing up my chapter on Fukushima and the ocean today and reviewed older news articles.
There was a report in Nov 2011 in the New York Times that trench water measured at 10 sieverts an hour.
Tepco stated that it had been spraying about 70 tons of water around the Daiichi compound a day since early October and that water in some trenches measured at 10,000 millisieverts an hour, which is 10 sieverts an hour, a fatal dose.

Richard, while I knew that the planet was being poisoned, i just hoped that the process might be slower than it appears to be.

We are all downwinders…. get used to it… Breathe deeply. Smile a lot. The nuke industry says this is all good for you, as long as you keep smiling.

Well my worst thoughts have been confirmed. After viewing the latest videos of the SFP's you can see all the debris and how impossible it will be to remove many bundles safely. I keep hoping that a miracle, or a genius will come up with a solution but lately reality falls over the light and darkness settles in with a vengeance. NO NUKES and sometimes, like now, I think what does it matter. but then that spark of hope ignites faith and bolsters human spirit which I hope will grow exceptionally bright in days to come.
