They've been busy with PowerPoint. Nice department logo too.
The heading text doesn't quite match the acronym (Governor’s Office of Emergency Preparedness & Homeland Security vs. (GOHSEP)) but they are working under desperate emergency conditions so errors happen.
Heckuva job.
Everything is fine – go back to sleep – the officials are on the case and are managing the story narrative, if not the underlying events.
The hurricane will pass over the Macondo blowout, stirring up the Corexit waters and dumping more toxins over the Southeast. When I flew over the Cayman Islands and Cuba two months ago, I saw the atolls covered in black oil, some streamers in the water, definite sheen on the water and in some places the water was an eery milky color. It was not normal. (Admin: if you email me, I will send you the pics from the flight. I haven't had any luck using the tip box on the other site.)
@kelly, post your photos to a photo/image online site..then post the links here. A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks for your dedication. Admin does check on the tips boxes..but there are a lot of tips coming in. This is a great site, with dedicated people! Am sure Admin sometimes feels like a "herding cats" program..but doing an excellent job!
