It's always within 'normal levels'.
Man, this crap gets old. Can't they come up with a new excuse? They spend millions on PR firms to make this stuff go away. What are they paying for?
Report Comment
They claim that petroleum on the surface of the sinkhole is what shows up in the infrared photos and that the booms are working. I tried to find out what they consider "normal levels" but could not find the exact amount. Time will tell

Need readings from citizens. Go to the highway, take readings.
Report Comment
Actually, forget the highway ..that location is probably a decoy.

"..slightly elevated but normal levels" ?
If it's elevated, then it's NOT normal. It may be within a range somebody has labeled as 'acceptable', but it's NOT NORMAL!
I read both reports from above.
Why only gamma testing?
Also note:
"An excess URANIUM analysis showed isolated ELEVATED sigma values on the eastern portion of the survey due MOST LIKELY to fertilizer usage." – from epa pdf
'Most likely', is not reassuring.
I hope no children or anything eats the food that is coming from those plowed fields.
Dear Mrs. Obama,
I would want a map like that one, except produced for the west coast so we can SEE the fallout's affect on our food supply. Could you please have a 'little' talk with the hubby and get this to happen. Where does your 'kids' food come from?
Thank you

Good luck petitioning the rich. They're probably already equipping their homes and automobiles with high efficiency filtration equipment, and sourcing indoor grown hydroponic foods. I can almost guarantee that anything the Obama or Romney families eat passes through a scintillation detector.

FA – This is certainly true, but being of the world there is nothing that will stop the slow, steady increase in becquerels. It is not slow at all, actually, when you consider what the world would be like without all of the detonations. leaks, spills, etc. Hyper-fast!
