Experts: Japan “wants to just drop tanks” of Fukushima nuclear waste into ocean — Americans worried over plumes hitting West Coast — “Reactors are now leaking really high levels of radiation into sea… The world does need to help” — Official says Japan lying about catastrophe (VIDEO)

TRT World transcript excerpts (government-funded public broadcaster of Turkey), Apr 14, 2017:

2:30 in – Dana Lewis, senior correspondent (emphasis added): As far away as the American Pacific coast there have been radiation levels found in fish, and radiation plumes have been tracked from Japan that have been detected on the shores of Oregon and in tuna caught nearby… Japan’s former prime minister has accused current Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of lying about the situation being under control…

7:00 in – Mark Whitby, engineer: I think the world does need help…

9:45 in – Dr. David Lowry, nuclear policy consultant: We’ve heard about the leakage of water in the Pacific and why that might worry Americans on the West Coast of the United States, but the radioactive contamination of the area around is very damaging…

10:45 in – Martin Stanford, host: They did try this ice wall — didn’t they? They spent billions of yen trying to create this barrier to contain contaminated water — it still leaks, I hear.

11:00 in – Whitby: It still leaksThese reactors are now leaking really high levels of radiation into that water, now that water then goes out of the sea and is relatively diluted. We know that, you know, the fish are getting contaminated… In a way we are very lucky that this radiation is going into the sea — now it’s a vast amount… They’ve got to try and develop a program for actually containing everything and sealing the reactor… They’re now getting to the point where they are beginning to talk about wanting to just drop the tanks [of contaminated water] into the ocean, because they just can’t keep building these tanks.

Dr Chris Busby won't step 100 kilometers from Fukushima but we are sending our finest athletes 70 kilometers from from the reactor. I guess if the US Government will turn their own sailors into hot pockets athletes are fair game as well.

Instead of dumping thousands of tons of YOUR highly deadly tank water into our Pacific Ocean, did you give thought to taking some degree of responsibility for your string of fails leading to this, our demise?

You've already poisoned the whole damn ecosphere so why not own the water storage issue by dumping the lot in the top of mt Fuji. That way when the thing finally erupts we can get it over with in a nanosecond rather than dragging these tumours around for years.

The only plus I can see about negligently dumping the tanks into the ocean is if I catch one of the last five fish left in the ocean, not only will it be conveniently dead, but cooked as well.

    • Yourmomma

Seeing as how the radioactivity in the tanks is already extremely diluted letting it into the ocean will have no effect upon anything – the end result will be negligible compared to normal background radiation.

Totally not true. CERN doesn't remotely change the printed page of anything. It is just people. CERN causes earthquakes and takes down the radiation shield of the magnetopause. CERN also creates radionuclides and spews them out into the atmosphere. Their research is to create new weapons. Nuclear research is just to kill more people and to take money from the starving masses.

                    • Byrian419

                      Yes, it is true.

In fact not only is CERN able to change things the machine itself is a resurrection machine and a PORTAL. The REAL reason we went over to Iraq is to steal NIMRODS head that's been in a jar and then bring it to CERN to resurrect NIMROD and his army. The Illuminati card game has a card with a NIMRODS HEAD in a JAR, coincidence? No, I don't think so.

Arctic Sea Ice Loss Takes 50 X Entire Annual Energy Use In USA

"It takes energy to melt sea ice. How much energy? The energy required to melt the 16,400 Km3 of ice that are lost every year (1979-2010 average) from April to September as part of the natural annual cycle is about 5 x 1021 Joules. For comparison, the U.S. Energy consumption for 2009 ( was about 1 x 1020 J. So it takes about the 50 times the annual U.S. energy consumption to melt this much ice every year. This energy comes from the change in the distribution of solar radiation as the earth rotates around the sun."

        Might be the sun.
Might also be perterbation heating up the core of earth, creating more heat in the sea bottom.

Major Report Prompts Warnings That the Arctic Is Unravelling

The polar region is warming more than twice as fast as the rest of the planet

The Arctic is warming more than twice as fast as the rest of the planet, suggests a huge assessment of the region. The warming is hastening the melting of Arctic ice and boosting sea-level rise.

The report, compiled by more than 90 scientists, documents the myriad changes already under way across the Arctic because of climate change—from declining sea ice and melting glaciers to shifting ecosystems and weather patterns. From 2011 to 2015, the assessment finds, the Arctic was warmer than at any time since records began around 1900 (see 'Arctic warming').

          • Yourmomma

If you are really concerned with polar warming you will naturally and absolutely support nuclear power as it creates emission-free energy.

Yes, no tritium, no leakages, no disasters, reliance on other power plants, no waste products at all.

This is probably why of the 250 nuke power plants in the US, about 125 were built and a quarter of those were non-functional for more than a year (at best).

Oh and what's that insurance thingy that applies only to the nuke industry, because insurers don't consider it insurable?

              • Yourmomma

A lot going on in your reply there Farthington, but if you could give me the name of any person who's ever been harmed by tritium that might be a start.

                • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

Unfortunately I am quite antisocial and don't live directly by a NPP. An interesting attempted argument though.

Just speculating, but I could suggest you look at residents, their health status and query their names (also perhaps other environmental, fauna and flora damage) living near NPPs, particularly where tritium feeds into rivers and such.

I mean, hydrogen isn't volatile right? What damage can adding two neutrons possibly account for?

                  • Yourmomma

He he, burden of proof is entirely on you, my friend. If you make outlandish claims you have to match them with the commensurate evidence.

I recognize the argument. You fail to recognize, and think (falsely) that you hold the high moral ground, that you would be the one to decide whether something was outlandish or not.

he who calls something outlandish is required to present a high level of evidence proving so.

                  Hey, Mutha!

Consider Turkey Point in Miami. Much of the water supply of surrounding communities has been breached for years, and with no linings in the coolant canals, the entire aquafer that supplies drinking water from West Palm Beach to Homestead will soon be breached by radioactive Tritium.  Oh, but you believe the studies that gloss over Nuclear Power Plant releases RE: cancer? Humm. Now who would ever mislead you with plant false info?! (Sarc) And once the enfire region is dosed, who can link Turkey Point and cancer clusters? Mission accomplished?

Or. You COULD actuAlly want real info… Like this…

Cancer clusters: Alan Farago, President of the Society of the Everglades, reports on statistical studies by Dr Raid Amin, of the University of West Florida, identifying a pediatric cancer cluster in South Florida including Miami. The Florida Department of Health has not recognised the cluster, validated independently by other statisticians.

"Carbon free nuclear?" Bwa, ha, ha, another farcical notion from the nukist cookbook of PR obfuscation.

              • Bravo Hotaters and ain't it the truth….

Common sense stuff they don't count in their equations…

Building a nuclear plant from smelting the metals to the ground up building processes? Fossil fuel powered

                Mining? Fossil fuel powered

Milling the ore? Fossil fuel powered

Transporting the ore to the enrichment facility? Fossil fuel powered

Enriching the uranium? Fossil fuel powered

Creating all the components of a fuel bundle? Fossil fuel powered

Building the fuel rods? Fossil fuel powered

Transporting the fuel bundles to the reactors? Fossil fuel powered

Offsite backup power in case of a emergency, running 24-7 even on stand by? Fossil fuel powered

Even the operating power for the control rooms use offsite power to supply them with electricity guess how that power is produced? Fossil fuel powered.

Clean up from contamination produced by mining (tailings) and clean up in the event of a release? Fossil fuel powered.

So according to a nuke proponent nuclear is clean and a answer to fossil fuel consumption, nothing could be further from the truth. Fact is you could make power from fossil fuels and have some left over versus nuclear power's use of fossil fuel just to build, supply and start one of these child killer monsters.

It's WAY past time to start to tell the whole truth about these poison factories.

                According to some 1 + 100 equals 2.

                Anybody got a calculator handy?

                • Oh yea and apparently the only industry (not involved with nuclear) that can add and subtract is the insurance industry…

The insurance industry won't touch a nuke plant with a ten foot pole and that's essentially free money (100's of millions) as long as there is not a accident.

What do they know? It will happen, it does happen around every 7 years and one accident will put them outta business.

What does that say about the clean green nuclear industry?

It's (nuclear power) not safe, not clean and a loosing bet, not worth the gamble, even for a insurance company that could collect millions for the seven years before the next one (out of all the operating reactors they could insure) causes a problem.

There's some folks that are professional risk assessors who can (and actually have) do the honest math on these loosing propositions.

                • Yourmomma

                  Oh, I am loving this.

Let's compare the fossil fuel usage in the construction of 'renewable' energy plants vs nuclear!

Nuclear power uses massively smaller amounts of fossil fuel in construction, per kilowatt of power produced, than renewable energy, simply because nuclear power is so much more dense and concentrated, not to mention efficient. Things like the all the waste generated from production of solar panels, the wasted panels after two decades of use (versus 5 or more decades with nuclear), the broken rusted wind turbines littering the landscape like alien inhuman monstrous skeletons, I could go on and on.

              • Effen gov troll playing the carbon card. how sad.

                • Sad that the nuclear lie of being cleaner or cheaper or better in any way continues…

Recon any of these folks can add?

How much energy does it take to build a cave to put the waste in?

How much energy does it take to cool this stuff for 5+ years after it comes out of the reactors?

How much energy does it take to fight the cancers caused by nuclear power?

How much energy does it take to build the hardened plants, run the control rooms, keep offsite power running, build dry casks and transport the fuel endangering everyone around it?

Build the plant? Mine the uranium? Process the ore? clean up the mess? Evac people when there is a catastrophic problem?

Nuclear power is the biggest lie of all time requiring 1.5 units of energy to produce .05 units of energy while endangering EVERY life form on the planet.

That is in fact a looser, NO gain in electricity from these things, only a gain in power from the weapons it can produce…

Anyone that has looked at the inputs to outputs ratio knows better…

WAY too much energy to start one, WAY too much energy to deal with the wastes and WAY too many risks!!!

Simple math for anyone that is honestly paying attention.

I challenge ANYONE to show us the energy used versus energy produced…

Nuclear power is a power hungry waste of resources, period and beyond compare!!!!

A unit of energy to produce a unit of energy IS NOT A POWER SOURCE!!!!!

Just try to prove me wrong on that one "Yourmomma"

Unit 2 access to Refueling Floor.

There is a new alteration, on the side of Unit2, where the blowout panel was removed by the March, 2011 blast.
It looks like a decontamination area, allowing workers to immediately remove contaminated clothing, after working to clear the Refueling Floor.
The plan is to remove the top 2 wall panels, and roof, in order to build a cover, like they have done over Unit3.
This is all in preparation for the removal of the contents of the spent fuel pool.

But, of course, Tepco should really be working to find the corium!

    • Well the glaring reason for not looking for the corium is they already know basically where these blobs are (through years of research, satellite heat plume readings and onsite reports and readings). Unit 2 is in full China Syndrome.

We know it, we've seen the evidence, we've heard the reports from workers on the ground. It's a known fact that unit 2's corium is now well underground and in contact with groundwater.

No doubts about it. That blob is gone, Elvis has left the building…

The only questions are how much corium (if any) remains above ground and how to reduce emissions onsite at ground level so they can try to remove damaged spent fuel perched 100 feet in the air in a destroyed building.

They are not looking for any of the coriums at this point because they have sound evidence and research as to the whereabouts of all 3 meltdowns.

It's now about reducing levels in the reactor buildings so they can clean up the residual material (good luck with that in the next 25 years)…

To try to get even close to the corium blobs is impossible at this time and will be until someone invents a technology that simply doesn't exist at this time.

Looking for corium is a snipe hunt and a complete waste of time.

Lowering the emissions inside the buildings for residual clean up of the destroyed fuel pools is the top doable priority.

"Clean the fuel pools before a earthquake collapses them to the ground" is the only doable action at this point.

Hippie…I would almost swear you are copy and pasting your earlier posts. I smell a skunk. Basically, you are touting their plan as the only feasible plan…and saying its a waste of time to look for corium…even while admitting they know where it is. Strange

        • No again code, but I do enjoy the chat, gotta a little time right now so here goes…

"I would almost swear you are copy and pasting your earlier posts"

Not really, I do copy post links (to really important facts) from time to time but most of my posts are typed out…

Started a new rumor with that one by total accident 🙂

Don't get sucked into fiction, study the photos, don't take apart the authors opinion… Ignore the testers opinion, READ the numbers, research the isotopes and help others to understand the differences between poisons and sunlight…

          Woods hole?

          Testing seawater?

A massive effort to see what's going on?

Performed by hundreds of people? Are they all in on it?

Boy I sure hope so, I wanna know how bad it really is.

I don't agree with allot that's said, I concentrate on the test results, the photos, the videos from the ground and results from years of past research.

The thousand+ people involved with Woods Hole testing have never even met Ken.
When you look for test results, look at the test results, instead of listening to or reading a opinion of someone involved. make your own educated decision.

Physics is a true or false proposition, and so is life and pollution and water and food and air…

…and our health and the next generation's too.

          • And that ain't no cut n'paste opinion that's cut n'paste fact…

            Don't forget this one either…

            Like highly intuitive eh?

          • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Hippie, why are you even remotely concerned about 10 or fewer bq/m^3? As far as your links go, 90% of the time I click one its a rock song I have no interest in. fools like you and me need lots of humility

            • Well code all I can say is smell the roses, my music links are (mostly) form those that take (or have taken) a active roll in our environment.

Music is a powerful thing and anyone that will use it to help get the word out is, in my opinion, worth a honorable mention…

All you have to do is open the link in a new window, and use it as background music…

Minimize it (put it in the tool bar) and listen to it while you go back and read or compose your post(s).

Or hey just close it if you don't like the song.

You may find however after looking at my background music links that they all have a relevant message…

As for humility it can be a good thing, humility can also allow lies and wrongdoing to continue. In that case standing up at any cost is the responsible course of action and is a responsibility…

Tepco Chases Its Tail On Unit 3 Reactor Nuon Scan

    "Where Is The Damn Corium?"
Certainly NOT where they are going to look!

    Unit 3 Reactor Nuon Scan

Fukushima Unit 3 To Get Muon Scan End Of April

"The equipment will be installed in the first floor of the unit 3 turbine building. The scan will be capable of viewing the bottom of the reactor vessel but not lower into containment.

"A scan for unit 3 had been put off in previous years over concerns the radiation levels were too high to obtain an accurate scan.

"The scan should be able to confirm if any fuel is left in the reactor vessel itself. If no fuel inventory of significance is found in the reactor vessel, unit 3 would be in the same category as units 1 and 2 where the location of the melted fuel is unknown."

I'd be crying over all this foolishness, if all this wasn't so tragic.
    No clue?
Tepco? Are there any adults there?
The fuel is below the bottom of the containment vessel, don't ya know?

    • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

      Here's a telling exerpt about reactor 2.

“Radiation levels near the fuel are lethal,” said MIT’s Buongiorno, who holds the university’s Tepco chair, a professorship based on an initial donation by the company 10 years ago. There are no formal affiliations or obligations for the faculty who receive the chair, he said.

Because the No. 2 unit is the only one of the three reactors that didn’t experience a hydrogen explosion, there was no release into the atmosphere and radiation levels inside the core are higher compared to the other two units, according to the utility.

      Notice the implication?

      • PhilipUpNorth PhilipUpNorth

        And the answer is:
Unit 2 is still undergoing fission.
While the nuclear industry textbook still reads: "Can't happen."

        • HillbillyHoundDog HillbillyHoundDog

"A sealed door and HEPA filter system were installed on the blow out panel of unit 2 after it was discovered that this was a major source of contamination to the environment after the initial disaster. Installation of this system drastically reduced contamination released to the environment on a daily basis."

        • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

"Because the No. 2 unit is the only one of the three reactors that didn’t experience a hydrogen explosion, there was no release into the atmosphere and radiation levels inside the core are higher compared to the other two units, according to the utility."

Read that again, in context of them mentioning not being able to find the coriums.

So, what's left of reactor 1 and 3?

        • GOM GOM

          The Unit 2 Switch..

I noticed websites (jap too) dedicated to "unit 2" scare tactics, used to be 'reactor'4 as main issue.

          Power stations with units..

        • "Unit 2 is still undergoing fission.
While the nuclear industry textbook still reads: Can't happen"

Dang skippy it is, that's the worst of all the reactors and the majority of the corium is deep underground according to all the reports form honest experts.

That one "over pressured" and blew the torus and the connecting pipes at the bottom of the containment (earthquake damage?).

That blob is "gone baby gone" right to the water table and was in the ground within months of the disaster.

Don't let em even try to fool you on that fact…

Unit 2? Full blown textbook China Syndrome…

    • Yourmomma

The corium is in the bottom of the containment vessel where it has been since 2011, safely piled up on the concrete. Don't you read?

    • Unit 3 blew it's top and threw the reactor core contents up to 2 miles away.

Scanning it would only confirm that fact. Can't wait to see the results.

A simple distraction ploy to make you think there is a core there…

…that containment was bulldozed under behind the reactor building.

I've personally seen the flyover and satellite photos…

…not to mention you can see the huge chunks of concrete (plug) flying almost straight up thousands of feet in the air after the detonation that occurred in 3's core.

      • OOps should have been hundreds of feet…

        By bad…

      • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Hippie Dog, the reactor top didnt make it through the concrete shields…weve been down this road. Nevertheless, lots of nuclear fallout was released. Your assessment of flying concrete plugs is not accurate

        • Yea I've heard that one but the evidence is another story…

Watch the blast… see the VERY large pieces of concrete shot strait up into the air? They then fall down in very close proximity to the reactor?

Flying concrete doesn't change course, the building roof was metal and had no other concrete to move upwards from over the reactor core.

The blast is like a cannon shot, straight up, concentrated energy blowing straight up, no side to side energy was released to speak of.

Only thing strong enough to focus that kind of energy straight up from the center of the building is the containment.

Only concrete of that thickness in the center of the building is the plug pieces.

Only way to get that kind of compression for a explosion that large with thick black smoke (no white smoke seen) is the containment.

          Add all this up…

Huge Detonation that far exceeded the speed of sound

Thick black smoke (no white smoke)

Huge chunks of concrete blowing strait up with no measurable horizontal force exerted.

And then take a look at the earliest overhead photos showing the inner containment laying behind the reactor building and a hole through the roof's steel girders in the exact spot of the reactor top.

Look at the calculations of just the uranium blown into the atmosphere

Then look at the levels of plutoium found over 2 miles away, not aerosolized readings, pieces of fuel they bulldozed under.

Hard to see it any other way once you…

          • Jebus Jebus

Report: Nuclear fuel fragments found over a mile away were “ejected from the reactor cores in those explosions” not spent fuel pools, according to NRC (VIDEO)

          • see the evidence,

the explosion videos, the flyover photos, the satellite photos, the heat signature (or the lack thereof in number 3), the bulldozed under pieces of fuel found over 2 miles away, the close flyover photo of the reactor roof hole directly over the core location, the photo of the inner containment behind the #3 building before the bulldozers could get in there and that photo was sent by a licensed reactor engineer that was onsite. The release calculations (created from 100's of readings) of tones of uranium lofted into the environment. The foia documents and the e-mails sent by the professional assessors from all over the world, including Japan.

Forget what you've heard somewhere and look at the evidence for yourself. I'm not alone when I tell you 3 blew the containment and went exbuilding flying through the air. The foia documents and most experts agree and it was obvious before the cleanup.

          • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Hippie Dog. Why do I repeat this…please take a loot this time and digest the evidence

            • DUDe DUDe

An explosion straight up like a laser..does that even exist..i would think it keeps expanding in all directions when going including sideways..

            • OK yea I have seen that photo before but it doesn't even come close to matching the actual video of the explosion.

Do you really think that building is reactor 3? How do you know it's 3?

It's obviously been cleaned up so don't you think that a crane (shown repaired right by that building) could put another piece of concrete over the hole?

Wouldn't that be a priority to reduce emissions?

Watch the explosions (there were 3 explosions in rapid succession)

              Explosion video:

Tell me that's the same building shown in your photo without repairs…

Overlays of reactors ontop distroyed buildings:

Here's the directory with several photos and diagrams of the reactor, some of the earliest photos taken when the site looked like it did originally after the explosions (before anyone could clean it up).

Look at the photos, look at the force created by the explosions forget what you've read somewhere.

Ya know it's not surprising that judges sequester juries during a high profile trial, it's next to impossible to get some people to see the evidence and make a rational decision after reading and watching main stream or alternative news stories and talking with others about it.

Now tell me that the photo you posted is # 3 in it's original condition (if it's even reactor 3 at all).

              • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Hippie…well we watched them dismantle unit three to the loading floor. You can see the early pics with roof structure over the reactor, but blown out over the SFP. The massive crane was there, and probably what dented the concrete plug. They didnt put it on after the fact.

It was a huge explosion…this much is certain. A huge amount of fallout was released, that is not disputed. As best I can put it together, there seems to have been very high reactor temps and pressure that stretched bolts in the cap. Steam explosions and various complex explosive reactions seem to have blown micronized fuel into both pools, probably causing immediate secondary explosions. You can see the massive destruction where the condensers were located. Maybe the torus water was involved in a steam explosion….notable holes in the floor…

For us simpletons…and I include you…it behooves us to be humble…not so cock sure and arrogant

You have linked to those pics in your post above before. This is perhaps a valiant effort at photo forensics, but its just plain wrong

Sure, it doesnt matter too much, but its just so damn embarrassing to be wrong… So we might as well tighten up and eliminate the disinfo

                • Sorry code apparently you have no experience with fire works, check out the small 4th of July mortar It's 2 and 1/2 inches in diameter.

Now this thing will shoot 50 feet in the air, but only if you put it in a tube.

Set it on the ground it'll go boom and burn your legs.

Think about that for a moment, horizontal explosion if you set it down? Contain it in a tube and it gets exited and moves violently upward very quickly.

That the unit 3 difference and it's physical law…

White smoke? Like gunpowder poured out in a line on the ground, all white smoke, no boom…

Or black smoke like a wrapped firecracker, big boom…

I really want people to get these simple things, not only could it save your life, it could save the life of a loved one, it could also help to clean this mess up both in japan and all across the planet.

Time for us all to pony up…

                • Unit 3 ejection?

"there seems to have been very high reactor temps and pressure that stretched bolts in the cap"

                  Ok, check, that's fact…

So the cap didn't come off, the inner containment punched through the red hot center of the cap and bent some bolts on the way out…

                  …totally understandable with omissions.

                  Real theories? Or proven fact…

                  Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't necessarily like agreeing with you, but it's worth considering.

Especially considering that exerpt and link about reactor 2 I posted a few posts before this and that reactor 2 is kinda used to exhibit the "lack of severity" of the problem…

                    • You don't have to agree with me…

I'd guess the reads would go down as the corium did…

Bored? I should say burned a hole into the earth and people pumped and piled water on top of it daily to keep the emissions down?

stock, not my link…Hippie Dogs link. Its disinfo. For example, the reactor does not lay in the rubble, its a tractor/crane

                    • I get it now. The "work" seemed amateur and not strong or conclusive to me.

But I think the concrete cap went skyhigh, AND they phtoshopped, AND they brought a cap from 5 or 6 in order to reduce radiation to allow work.

The creases in the concrete look contrived, and methinks the lady doth protect too much when went into so much detail on the curvature of the cap etc…..liars go into too much detail when the over elaborate on a lie.

                      I am a lie spotter.

                  • Well stock, looking at the comments instead of the evidence? A photo in front of your face but it's more interesting to take apart someone's presentation? How usual, what in GODS green earth does someone's opinion have to do with the photo…

I didn't make those comments they were made by a real investigator that doesn't have time to waste playing around with jello style commercial cartoon productions to make you happy.

The photo was real, the comments were from someone else.

Don't need a PI licence to see that you guys spend all your time reading and trying to take someone apart and very little time looking.

The photo speaks for itself, the comments were made by someone else.

Kenny B has little to do with the reading results from woods hole but instead of looking at the numbers ya'll want to waste time on someone's he said she said opinion.

Certainly this habbit of studying what he said or she said finds nothing and proves nothing.

                    If you can't see, you ain't lookin…

Hippie, dont quit your day job…very juvenile…etc etc.

If the pic speaks for itself, why are the notations wrong? What does it say to you? Dont tell, me…it inspires you to post a rock song.

What few people seem to see is that there is lots of structure over the reactor but none over the SFP. If the lid of the containment blew off, it certainly didnt go straight up.

You act as if you know it all but in fact know very little. Like I say, fools like you and be should have some humility, dont you think?

                    • Boy all you (and some of these other moes) can do is say something about someones comments. FORGET the comments and analyze the photo.

It's like dealing with a spoiled school child. No wonder people like you have no clue what's really going on over there.

I've seen you follow and support some stupid things but to show a photo of what you call number 3 (no way to even know) and then turn around and try to say something is wrong with the real photo because someone tried to help out the simpleton crowd with a short narration, well just shows why you are so clueless.

I knew something was wrong with you when I pointed out C134 ocean readings and the only thing you got out of it was to attack ken over at woods hole (acting like he's trying to cover something up) when you were shown real certified test results.

Here's another piece of solid evidence that you shrug off without even looking at, why?

And you want to make a statement like it was the fuel pool that created that explosion. This very site is crawling with articles showing the core was destroyed in reactor 3

Something's definitely wrong with people that say the truth is a lie and lies are the truth.

Like children arguing in the schoolyard for no reason these are the days of their lives.

                    • Stock, after looking at my post this morning it kinda looks like all the comments were directed to you, they weren't.

I think you already know from looking at the evidence the huge detonation at 3 was the reactor core.

Even the foia documents show it is estimated that 50% of the spent fuel remains in that fuel pool.

Wow, how could that be with that large of a explosion?

                      Simple physics…

The blast was directed upwards by the pressure vessel and the thick steel sides of the pressure vessel shielded the fuel pool and the equipment pool while the majority of the energy went straight up through the cap (notice I said through).

That is a simple and obvious truth and the real evidence supports it.

But code will argue with a sign post and chase fairy tales to try to prove some fiction when it suits her need to feel important.

Trying to debunk the truth? Colossal mistake but fools like me need humility right?

Code is constantly chasing her tail for a argument, doesn't really matter what the real evidence says or what expert says it.

Sorry code (a little humility) but you just keep proving something is not right with you by posting fake and/or unprovable info and slanted opinions.

Why don't you (code) explain how you can even know that the photo you posed all cleaned up is actually even 3 at all. Then run some tests on the photos and video I posted (if your are capable) and realize what the actual truth is.

Please show how you can identify this photo as actually being unit 3. How do we know this is actually a photo of unit 3 and not 2?

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

Hippie, you can see stages of clearing the unit 3 of destroyed structure and debris. It leaves virtually no doubt that the pic I posted is the real deal. I did look long for evidence the early bluish water in the SFP was fake. I think in fact there is a disparity of water colors in different presentations, particularly the pristine water of underwater videos looks suspicious.

Its clear that the most roof damage is over the SFP. I did a blast analysis, estimated the 'suction phase' at around 170 mph converging to the SFP. Theres no doubt the SFP was highly involved in the blast sequence and is the epicenter of much of the action.

Other notably damaged areas exist over the condensers, indicating a possible steam explosion, some shafts and a square area that almost looks like a shaft except for the rebar!.

The tremendous blast from the reactor area spit apart the 'seams' of the tiered concrete plugs, leaving gaps of several inches. The equipment pool was permanently yielded…bulged out, and emptied of water.

Its a miracle the sfp survived enough to hold water. The state of the spent fuel in the SFP is not known.

The one photo Hippie keeps posting states the reactor core is laying in the rubble. Anybody can see its a yellow crane, not a split in half reactor core.

Hippie puts down solid posters and did so aggressively since he first got here. 'Im Joe six pack rocker with a agenda and you are uh idiot' seems to be his meme

…The explosion at the Fukushima Daiichi unit 2 reactor followed a frantic battle by engineers to re-cover the reactor's fuel core with seawater, a critical action needed to halt a meltdown of the tops of fuel rods that could spin out of control if unchecked, experts said. Some reports said a crucial, doughnut-shaped "suppression chamber" or reservoir beneath the reactor that receives steam and gases from the reactor core had been damaged, increasing the risk of radiation release from that unit.

Propaganda and the “March for Science”

In mainstream news articles bemoaning “fake news”, Fukushima is often mentioned as an example. A recent article criticized Fukushima news websites as spreading misinformation, but ENE News ( was not mentioned.

The reason is clear: if the public reads the extensive technical and scientific reports and expert interviews there about Fukushima, they will a) realize the mainstream media is lying and just a propaganda outlet for governments and corporations, b) realize the extremely grave issues around the Fukushima disaster are scientifically based, and c) have resources to do extensive research and dissemination of information.

The so-called March for Science involved some well-meaning people, but its message and agenda were co-opted. One of the placards at a protest promoted “sound science”

Where is the March for Mother Earth?

    • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

You don't have to march, that's mostly political PR garbage.

Instead, just buy and support less corporate, military, industry crap. You'll save energy too.

      • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

Apart from just not buying crap…

I wonder, let's say you do a product survey, or get questioned about some products and services (by representatives of those suppliers), is it worth it to give them say, somewhat overly positive optimistic feedback so as to increase their confidence in those products.

But then, you do the opposite by word of mouth and don't support their crap at all?

Politicians, corporatists, etc do that shit all the time. It seems to fool people and considering their focus on sales and marketing analytics, perceived value, etc. it may be worth trying some of babylon's tactics against it.

      • hey FM, still not sure about you, but you got that right….at every step that you can divorce yourself from the system, provide for yourself, not be dependent, you gravely hurt "the system".

Oh I expose some of their crap, like I said, I would tell someone about some of that corporate crap, they can then apply their discernment.

So yeah, I go with not supporting corporate and/or a lot of other "socially acceptable" crap, yet telling say, dudes on the street or internet about some of that.

If a pellet (or rod) of nuclear fuel is struck by lightening, the radioactivity being released from the pellet will decrease by approximately 8-11%. If my research is accurate, this indicates that if correctly designed Tesla coils could be lowered into the hole and switched on to deliver man made lightening, sooner or later a significant reduction in the radioactivity can be achieved.

If possible, please confirm or deny the hypothesis. Hopefully confirmation can be pushed into action.

where does this data come from ?

at a topographical guess , the electrical vaporization that occurs with any spontaneous high voltage discharge, surface interaction, simple vaporizes the most potent ( electrically speaking ) players…meaing they become aerosols in direct proportion to the radiation reduced for the base material…just a thought

    • I don't believe the hypothesis to have any basis in fact.

  • To at least partially reclaim the contaminated water before discharging it to the ocean, the water simply needs to be passed through a vertical column of the correct formulation of ion exchange resins. The resin beads absorb the radiation and at least some contaminants. The benefit is that of converting the contaminated difficult material to store, move and transport (water), into an easier and far safer to package, move, ship and store contaminated solid.

On an unimaginable scale, the same could be done to the Pacific Ocean to reduce contamination levels, shortening the recovery period.

Can anyone please confirm or deny the hypothesis? Hopefully, confirmation can be pushed to be tested, then practiced.

    Collectively we must do SOMETHING.

Dramatic incidents such as Chernobyl or Fukushima, understandably, attract immediate public attention. What we want to keep in focus are potential risks posed by radiation in a typical Canadian workplace.  Cancers of various types are a potential outcome of occupational overexposure to radiation. Due to the long latency periods, sometimes decades later, the difficulty of connecting individual incidents of cancer to a specific workplace exposure will continue to be a challenge"

Running out of room ..or increased risk of explosion ..or both?

"Isao Yamagishi, a group leader at the Japan Atomic Energy Agency, warns, "Waste produced during water purification work is highly radioactive, and so is the risk of just keeping it in storage." This is because even if the tainted water goes through a desalination process, salt can remain in the waste. There is a risk of the waste containers exploding if the concentration of hydrogen in them — produced due to the effects of radiation on water — reaches a certain level. Such a phenomenon was seen at the No. 1 and 3 reactor buildings of the Fukushima No. 1 plant, which exploded due to an accumulation of hydrogen soon after the outbreak of the disaster.
Yamagishi says that salt content has a tendency to aid hydrogen production, and it is necessary to release a sufficient amount of hydrogen from the containers. It is also possible that salt could corrode the metal containers. There do not seem to be any problems with hydrogen concentration or corrosion at this stage, but Yamagishi says, "We need to research over the long term what's going on inside the containers."

    • Electrolytes from sea water cause a very unstable condition in the waste water tanks at Fuku…

Absolutely true and salt (and many other minerals contained in sea water) can cause massive hydrogen production and render the entire site uninhabitable for workers.

Not that I would consider that wreck of a poison factory habitable now but it can create a situation where no work can take place at all even by machine without the risk of massive explosions…

Anyone that has ever built a hydrogen generator for a car knows you have to use electrolytes in the water to make any usable amount of hydrogen from water.

The electrolytes will boost hydrogen output from water by a factor of 10 or more…

Meaning only one 10th the energy is required to split the water molecules for hydrogen production using electrolytes in the tank verses plain water.

A truly scary thought when you consider the crazy amounts of water they have stored at Fuku and all the sea water that was pumped onto that site early in the disaster…

LANL extinguishes fire at plutonium facility

In the last year, issues raised at the plutonium facility range from shortcomings in fire protection and seismic stability, to failures in its nuclear criticality safety program, according to reports published by the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, which reports to the president and advises the Department of Energy, the lab owner, on public health and safety at its facilities.

The fire caused the shutdown of PF-4 for a day and led the New Mexico Environment Department to issue emergency authorization for the lab to destroy unstable hazardous waste.

The waste, less than 500 grams of lanthanum nickel powder, which is typically used to make fuel cells, was determined to “pose an imminent and substantial health and safety risk.” It was discovered in a lab of PF-4, according to correspondence between the lab and the Environment Department.

Allison Majure, a spokeswoman for the Environment Department, said the agency was waiting on clarification from the lab regarding the relationship between the fire and the hazardous materials.

Los Alamos had 24 criticality safety infractions and instances of program noncompliance in 2016.

The lab was tagged as red for “does not meet expectations.”

This is a nuclear thread or have the crazies forgotten it…

This kind of slanted inaccurate subject matter is not even suitable for the off topic threads and is misinformation.

When you see child abuse and/or someone posting lewd child photos (cartoon or otherwise) report it to the FBI, the center for missing children and/or your local authorities IMMEDIATELY…

          • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

            So, you should report then.

Btw, I hear some of your social agencies had a fair amount of corruption.

Generalized, hearsay slander is also punishable by US law. And one corruption doesn't EVER justify another corruption. Child abusers are the dregs of society as are drug dealers of illegal drugs or those who sell prescription drugs without a license, etc.

Oh that's neat, since Hippie Dog falsely accused me of being a pedophile and he's an american citizen and I'm not.

I called him an idiot, which he obviously is, since he said mercury is radioactive and that antarctica is in the northern hemisphere.

                • Another inaccurate and totally false post by Farthington MacMananus

I didn't falsely accuse you of anything. You posted nude cartoon photos of Japanese Children on this very website. I saw it and responded.

You found the material, composed a post, pasted the link to said lewd material and pressed the submit button.

We won't tolerate that kind of material on this site!

Don't care what your excuse is, there is NO excuse for it…

All you want to do is complain with no real facts or agenda to fight it (and this is not the place to fight that, this IS the place to fight nuclear and keep it from killing thousands of children.)

You post this tripe and expect everyone to believe you have good intentions and we should all comfort you with tales of abuse but…

This is not the place to fight it, there are hundreds of places to fight child abuse on the internet, this is not the mission of this particular site!

You post this tripe in a nuclear forum, have no game plan on how to fight it and expect that we should just believe you have good intentions all the while you bitch about people believing anything and every thing they see and read. Perhaps you need to think about the ramblings you post here (off topic and a forum that has nothing to do with your messages)?

Mr. MacMananus is just another of a small group of people that post here that are in desperate need of a physiological evaluation.

Ouch..well..if that wassent an accusation..then it certainly was very strong suggestive innuendo from you to him..enough for him to rightly perceive it being falsely i really have to go searching for your dramatic over-reaction , link it here and ascend further in to OT ?

                    • DUDe DUDe

                      descend lol

                    • Not at all DuDe,

Apparently every screwed up person on the planet thinks when they take a intentional bad action it's a accusation (Like posting something) and they aren't really responsible for their actions, I didn't post that and he wasn't accused of posting it. He was called out for posting nude cartoon children on a environmental website, evidenced by what was already posted by his own hand.

That's not a accusation, that's proven fact and is already in the record…

Perhaps if people would think before they did something stupid, we wouldn't have all the denial about everything that is killing this world.

If we all followed proven facts (like a guy who posted lewd material on this site) Fukushima would just be a accusation instead of a world killer fact, it would simply never have been operated past it's design limit and would have been shut down long before the quake hit….

Time to think before we act and stop the problems before they become fact by someone's decisions.

Taking wrong actions is why we are in the nuclear mess to begin with, you'd think people would figure that out! After you do something in real time, in real life, it's too late for it to be a accusation, it's proven fact…

That's the major problem with the world today!

And notice not even a apology from these wrong doers ever…

Time to get back to the real reason this site is here to begin with.

                      Nuclear radiation and pollution.

Like i said before..your tendency for crushing opinions or way's of addressing atrocities you disagree with , with violent censorship is highly suspicious to matter how you dress it..

He posted it because of the same reason you claim to disagree..go figure.."the intentional bad action" happend only in your perception..
Could have been OT tho..cant remember that detail lol
And your reaction and logic about it was more what i would expect from someone like Palin or something..

                    • Really so since I take a 0 tolerance approach to child abuse and lies in all forms I somehow have misrepresented something?

And you believe that to be censorship somehow?

                      Because I know 1+1=2 I have a crushing opinion?

The truth is not a opinion, doing wrong is not a opinion, posting pedofilla laden content is not a opinion…

Seems to me all this opinion mongering is why this kind of stuff is tolerated to begin with.

There will be no tolerance in the face of lies, fear mongering or child abuse in any form for any reason.

That's not censorship, that's what it is and I'll take the truth over this crap any day.

The more people that say I'm censoring someone or have a opinion about something, the more they give themselves away as washouts and discredit the real information posted here.

No wonder no one pays attention to the nuclear plight. All one has to do is come here and read the ridiculous tripe posted by some (a small few) weak and principle less people cursing and talking about every far fetched thing under the sun.

All one has to do is read a few comments posed here by flakes to realize that the information here is tainted with complete fairy tales.

Why would any principled person believe any of the truths posted here when they are mixed with the total bs of others who have no real care for truth or even common professionalism.

My crushing opinions? The facts speak for themselves.

I leave it like that for now..

                    • Yea well you are going to have to face the truth.

Posting that total crap for any reason is not allowed here!!!

Is in violation of US FCC laws and is a sick ploy for attention.

Farthington also made some lude comments to GOM and others that day giving himself away as a suspected problem.

Just as he said people are normalizing this he goes strait ahead and posts the very material he's shouting about.

This is not a new tactic for someone like that.

Okay wait, maybe I make the mistake of considering them people.

    • Fukushima soil used for parks?

This is the way a country (and world wide nuclear industry) that is in over it's head rationalizes things.

We have to clean up the residential and business districts to reduce (not eliminate) exposures…

Since there is absolutely no safe place to put this contaminated soil we'll just put it in the parks, it's public property and people spend less time at the park than they do in their homes or at work so it will effectively reduce exposures to the public.

      Wowsers what a complete rationalization…

Anyone that goes to these parks for 100's of years will get sick and probably die but that's just the price they pay for messing with nuclear…

…and fooling around with mother nature.

Just proves the real trouble they are in over there, from that perspective they actually think they are going to reduce exposure to the general public.

Carting that stuff around will spread it all along the routes used to transport it.

Silly watse of time and resources to say the least and no science to support the idea it will help anything.

Science says leave it in place and evac the areas for at least 100 years…

And the 100 years doesn't start until fission stops at that site (reactors) so figure 300 years of abandonment (at least) going by the book.

It's not nice to fool around with mother nature…

      • FaunaLord Farthington MacMananus

Here's the ploy with that, imo.

        "dilution is the solution"

Okay so the soil around fukushima is heavily contaminated, they're raised (nationally) radiation limits. Thing is, fukushima radiation levels are still really high.

So what do you do? You distribute some of that soil elsewhere.

This has at least 2 effects on perception.

        1) It normalizes disease/exposure rates. eg. "See, cancer rates aren't much higher around fukushima than the rest of the country"

        2) "See, fukushima radiation isn't a concern anymore, it's still below acceptable limits"

"Talk to any angler and you’re likely to hear a litany of hypotheses: warming temperatures in the Gulf of Alaska, climate change, invasive species, el Nino, the Fukushima power plant disaster, ocean acidification and overfishing from a variety of under-regulated foreign fleets. That’s just to name a few.
But scientists and fisheries experts don’t know exactly what’s causing the Taku Chinook population to decline. It could be a variety of these — or none."The one thing researchers do know is that whatever’s going on is occurring in the ocean, not in the freshwater environment."

    Hell hath no fury…

In ‘Silence Deafening, Fukushima Fallout … A Mother’s Response,’ Ms Roberson writes, “The silence after the earthquake, nuclear meltdown and tsunamis AF (after Fukushima) was truly deafening and unlike anything I had experienced before. Surreal, ‘Twilight Zone’ comparisons were hard to avoid. Knowing what I knew, and then seeing those facts be so thoroughly disregarded by the media and elected officials had begun to take on a sort of nightmare quality.”

Ms. Roberson pulls from her experiences in environmental activism, nutrition and motherhood to alert us to the dangers of radioactive fallout in U.S. topsoil, ground water, produce and dairy resulting from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. She asserts, “The one thing such experience brings that is startlingly clear to me: radioactive fallout from nuclear power and food do not mix, and children are especially at risk.” She makes a strong case for protecting California agriculture, currently the 5th largest producer in the world, not only in halting plans for the next generation of nuclear reactors but going one step further in calling for immediate transitioning from nuclear power to renewable energy before another nuclear disaster happens. This book speaks to the urgent need for food monitoring, conservation and renewable energy, as radiation from nuclear power is now migrating into our homes and kitchens.

…The Scamens no longer intend to pass the property on to their grandchildren for fear of hurting their health. The couple just wants out. But the only offer so far is from a buyer who left a note on the front door saying he'd pay the fire-sale price of $10,000.

They say Exelon has refused to buy their home because it has found tritium directly behind, but not beneath, their property.

"They say our property is not contaminated, and if they buy property that is not contaminated, it will set a precedent, and they'll have to buy everybody's property," said Scamen.

Their neighbors, Tom and Judy Zimmer, are also hoping for an offer from Exelon for the land and home they built on it, spending $418,000 for both.

They had just moved into the house in November 2005, and were laying the tile in their new foyer when two Exelon representatives appeared at the door.

"They said, 'We're from Exelon, and we had a tritium spill. It's nothing to worry about,'" recalls Tom Zimmer. "I didn't know what tritium even meant."

But his wife says she understood right away that it was bad news — and they hadn't even emptied their moving boxes yet: "I thought, `Oh, my God. We're not even in this place. What are we going to do?"'

They say they had an interested buyer who backed out when he learned of the tritium. No one has made an offer since.
