Electrical gear on Planet Earth has begun to operate in unpredictable ways. Perhaps it is the sun. Perhaps it is due to a change in the spin of the big solid iron crystal in the center of the Earth. Perhaps it is due to plutonium released by Fukushima. Everybody has a theory. Perhaps we are close to understanding the truth.

In the meantime, it would seem to be prudent to shut down all nuclear reactors. At least until the situation has stabilized. Don't you think?

Even properly maintained NPPs are too risky, but the cavalier attitude the nuclear industry takes towards these aging rust buckets with insufficient oversight and no "costly" equipment upgrades convinces me that radiation exposure destroys the brain's logic center!

WTF? Sure seems like their immediate assumption is that nothing important is damaged when stuff blows up… Wow… We have to get all these damn things shutdown as soon as possible.
