I had a car accident on Route 7.
A guy was traveling at 25 to 30 miles an hour and drove right into the back of my car and created a four car accident.
I was stopped. I was stopped at a stop light.
And he didn’t stop.
So I took a hell of a jolt.
Initially I thought I was ok, and I went through the first week and then I started getting all the concussion symptoms and I’ve seen two doctors who have diagnosed concussions. …
Arnie just came back from Japan, he took a book tour. I could not go because of some of my issues…

Naw, for that they would have plowed into the front of her car. Or the front driver's side quadrant. Probably just somebody texting or talking on a cell phone instead of paying attention to what's in front of him.
Hope Maggie's watching for whiplash injury to her neck as well as concussion. Someone plowed into the back of my car many years ago – I was stopped for a left turn, he never slowed down – and the whiplash didn't show up for another few years. When half my body would suddenly go novocaine-numb, then a searing headache on the opposite side would kick in. Got all sorts of brain scans and such (looking for tumor), our GP finally told me it was probably a cervical spine issue and sent me to a chiropractor. Sure enough, my neck bones were so locked up I'd been turning my head on just the top vertebrae and cutting off the nerves in the brain stem.

Sorry to hear it. Was it deliberate? Did the guy stop and what is his record? The police if they are honest ought to check his phone records and see who he has been in contact with.
Maybe you should drive a Humvee, diesel 3/4 or 1 ton pickup, or a big SUV? Mpg are less, but fuel is cheaper than medical bills.

I own a 1 ton diesel pickup truck that is used for commercial purposes. The ride quality rots, and some cars offer much better side impact protection. If I were to hit a car head on though, I expect to survive with minimal if any injury.
Probably none of that consideration matters given the likely global fallout from Fuku etc…
