Title: Fire Occurred near Unit 1-2 Ultrahigh Voltage Switchyard (Outdoor) at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

At around 10:59 AM on October 19, 2012, a TEPCO employee on patrol found a fire occurring near Unit 1-2 ultrahigh voltage switchyard* (outdoor) at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. The fire was reported to the fire department at 11:02 AM.
The employee performed a first-aid fire fighting and the fire was confirmed to have been put out at 11:12 AM. The fire department will investigate the site.
There was no injury due to the fire and no significant change has been found with the monitoring post data and plant condition.
Follow-up Report: “As a result of the site investigation by the fire department, the fire was confirmed to be extinguished at 12:07 PM. The area affected by the fire is estimated to be approx. 20m x approx. 20m. [~65ft x ~65ft] The cause of the fire will be investigated.”

Hm, all the radiation must be heavily affecting their eyesight, the puffs of smoke from the ultrahigh switchyard would seem to be quite clearly visible (about half-way through, 10:30 time or so) even on this time-lapse from a poor quality camera stream: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYi7qHq99DQ
I thought it was somehow related to the thick smoke that appeared in front of Unit #4 around the same time, so didn't make extra note of it. Just a lot of smoke all around.

That gaseous cloud shape might be above reactor2? Check out Tepco's daily rendition of 'build a bear,' I mean reactor2 building, on livecamerachecker. Scan the reactor 2 wall changes from 2012.10.20, 07.15-08.15 to 2012.10.19, 08.07-09.07. The short version:

Why bother going to this much trouble to obfuscate the physical changes at the plant? The R2 bldg. changes and the whitish mushroom cap cloud lead me to 'imagine' that R2 bldg, or, the panels on NW edge of what's left of R3 structure, went boom in the night. Knock off the fakery Tepco! Your handlers be damned, so you might as well tell/show what's going on. Help us help you to put pressure in the right places-

Yes Blu! I thought I was the only one who saw strange changes with #2. Back @ Jan/Feb 2012 there was a sudden dark spot at the near corner of #2. Was hard to tell if it was a hole in the Bld. or trees. Seemed weird that trees that large would just appear. Has boggled my mind all this time and I haven't seen anybody else comment on it. Now all of a sudden, Whala no large trees. Did they cut them down for some reason, or were they never really there, or not real trees. Now take a close look at the design on the south side or the Bld. The design should fade from white to blue in a uniform, gradual change. The pattern is now blotchy with too much white where the "trees" used to be. Or maybe I'm just a freak!

This old lady never thought there would be home computers. When I was little we just had a radio. When we finally got our little black and white TV we thought that was something. Now we have this new tech world, that I fall short in knowing.
