Dumping water and retardant on fuels is a standard technique. It is not always very effective, especially if there are high winds. I think they are running the aircraft again, but they’ve had to stop some of the time due to 60mph winds, which are what has caused the fire to grow so extremely fast.
Super fire? Yeah, its the fastest growing fire I can recall from a decade of living in the region, it has grown faster than I would have ever thought possible.
This won’t be out for a couple months, it could take them a month to get a line around it, though it should be fairly easy to hold a line at town and the lab because they have roads and water.

Been looking at this site for many weeks too. Very good information.
Tom Burnett, retired nuclear physicist living in Hawaii, has been very accurate with many comments about the Fukushima disaster. For instance, in an article published way back on March 27 are some e-mails from Burnett that turned out to be pretty much spot on:

We are getting lots of smoke here in the four corners region which means the smoke has gone west and north and east. It is a combination from the Arizona and Los Alamos regions and IT IS RADIOACTIVE.
A look at the EPA map shows two things. Rises of radiation measurements in the area, and the fact that many of the detection sites EAST of Los Alamos are not working or recording information. More COVER UP by the EPA/NRC/FDA and all the rest of the USELESS GOVT EATERS AND BREATHERS sucking fat federal pay checks for doing absolutely NOTHING to protect America or the world’s people. They earn those fat pay checks for doing exactly opposite of what they are supposed to be doing and are perfectly kow-towing to the population control (kill off) agenda.
One place that is working and directly downwind of Los Alamos is Amarillo, TX. The readings have been high:

Not so fast. RadNet data for those two cities was actually higher a few weeks ago, and RadNet data for those two cities has always been completely weird, particularly Amarillo, which seems to have wild spikes up to 400 or 500 CPM.
Had you not noticed this? Or… what?
This is not a conspiracy, in my opinion, and I qualify it as only that. Our media and government are way, way too dysfunctional to accomplish that, and there are far more efficient and less expensive ways to depopulate the planet than using radiation. A poison or a virus would work far better and be much easier to control.
Occam’s razor: The simplest explanation that fits the facts, and these multiple tragedies are the result of simple hubris, greed, corner cutting. The reason these disasters are happening simultaneously is due to climate instability. Lots of really smart people have been worried about somethig like this happening since the ’70s.

I tend to agree with you, HardLeft. Lack of attention is the biggest source of all “accidental” disasters.
I would only take issue over the cause. My preference would be for simple lack of attention to maintenance programmes. Or just not having maintenance programmes, same thing really.
