Before being turned back by a swollen stream and rough seas, tsunami-debris experts nearly reached a remote Olympic Peninsula beach to inspect a dock — likely from Japan — that has washed ashore. [...]
It was spotted Tuesday by the Coast Guard on the Olympic Peninsula. Tsunami-debris experts didn’t try to reach it by ground until Thursday because of stormy weather and treacherous terrain, said David Workman, spokesman for the state Marine Debris Task Force. [...]
If weather permits, the crew plans to try again to reach the dock on Friday, he said.
“Friday is considered the ‘last best shot’ to reach the dock during the current tide series,” he wrote. “The next opportunity would come in early January — weather permitting.” [...]

For those like us who know what Fukushima will leave for the future of our planet. We know something that most don't yet know and for that we are burdened.
What can we do but tell people about what happened and what is currently happening. I have a blog with Fukushima Diary and many other links and videos, interviews and outright proof that the northern Pacific ocean id doomed. I posted scientific details about the ongoing threat to life including the study that shows 20,000+ deaths in North America alone from the Fukushima.

The total Japanese tsunami debris field is massive:
"The government of Japan estimated that the tsunami swept about 5 million tons of debris into the Pacific Ocean and that about 70 percent sank quickly. The remaining 1.5 million tons dispersed far across the North Pacific Ocean in an area roughly three times the size of the lower 48 states. Modeling indicates that the bulk of the debris is likely dispersed north of the main Hawaiian Islands and east of Midway Atoll."

"FORKS, Wash.—Hiking over primitive coastal trails, a team reached a dock that apparently floated from Japan after last year's tsunami and just washed ashore on a Washington beach, and an official said the group found Japanese writing inside the structure."
