UPDATE: Reactor No. 2 temperature continues rising -- Up 20°C in last 4 days -- Up 3°C in last 5 hours

Title: Fukushima 1st nuclear accident 2 temperature of the machine reactor after 2 days, rise at the 5th morning point in time which is continued 67.4 degrees
Source: FNN

Translated by EX-SKF

Temperature of the Reactor Pressure Vessel of Reactor 2 at Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant has been rising since February 2. TEPCO will increase the amount of water being injected into the reactor to see if that lowers the temperature. [...]

52 degrees Celsius on February 2, but it kept rising. As of 5AM on February 5, it was 67.4 degrees Celsius, 15 degrees increase. [...]

TEPCO says it doesn’t know what is causing the temperature to rise, but says it doesn’t affect the decision of “cold shutdown state”.

EX-SKF Analysis

  • So much for “cold shut down” and “end of the accident”
  • Maybe the reactor didn’t like the endoscopy done in January
  • According to the latest plant parameter data from TEPCO, the temperature at the bottom of the RPV of Reactor 2 at 11AM is 68.6 degrees Celsius, up over 1 degrees from 5AM
  • Worker who tweets from Fukushima I Nuke Plant is more worried about Reactor 2 than Reactor 4

We decided it’s cold shutdown … so it is!

Got it: ” A main thermometer read 71.7 degrees Celsius at the bottom of the No. 2 reactor’s pressure vessel as of 4 p.m. (7 a.m. GMT), a sharp rise from 52.0 degrees as of 11 p.m. Wednesday, said the company known as TEPCO.
The company increased the amount of cooling water injected into the reactor by one ton to 9.6 tons per hour.
TEPCO is examining the possibility that the main thermometer malfunctioned because two other thermometers located on the same level of the vessel showed stable temperatures around 45 degrees, the company said.
TEPCO is required to report to local municipal governments if key thermometers at the plant’s reactors reach 80 degrees or it is forced to increase the amount of cooling water by more than one ton per day, under rules set after the plant’s accident in March last year.

  • The hotter it gets, the colder the cold shutdown will be..

Hot, fissioning, spewing out invisible rivers of radiation and steaming is the new definition of

    ‘cold shutdown’

Uh huh, just keep repeating it

    cold shutdown

    cold shutdown

    cold shutdown

    Do you believe?

If not, go back to church. Have Faith, and repeat this mantra another 2,000 times!

As a reward, Santa will bring you lots of radioactive presents with a deer that has a glowing nose.. maybe a wee bit too much radium perhaps?

If you choose not to believe, you will be cast out, and be judged as a non-believer. You will go to H#(# forever, and God will punish you with everlasting radioactive fires, torments, and diseases…

Uh, wait a minute, that is what is happening now.. I take it back.. Forget everything I just said…

Move on, nothing to see here.

So…what do you think is happening? Restart of nuclear chain reaction? Or “just” a lack of water?
I’m almost ashamed to say – I feel a certain numbness. These news seem not as shocking as 6 months ago. Anybody else feeling like this? Are we getting used to disaster? Or is the soul trying to protect itself?

    That scares me.

These yokals had better let the true webcam videos show, and not keep hiding the situation. Should Reactor 2 have a major event–the people who HID the situation can be charged with man-slaughter at least. IF they are still around. What criminals they are. There is no legitimate reason to hide information which would allow people to make informed decisions. Now if you have an evacuation situtation –with a million people, you could have had a much easier staged process. A successful staged process.

Has anyone moved back into the evacutation zones –hope not. Now, the rise in temperature may be a malfunction, BUT if not — are contingency plans in place? Or were all the plans focused on ignoring the problem, smiling and making it go away?

Hi jec, I think if they wanted to try selling it as a malfunction of equipment, they would’ve released that statement first. So far I think they didn’t, which tells us it’s an even more serious situation….I could SO live my life without this crap!

Plus from MY files: “The New york Academy of Science estimated the number of deaths from Chernobyl as being approximately 980,000.

The US National Academy of Sciences report concluded in 2007 that no dose of radiation is safe. The radiation exposures are cumulative in effect in causing cancer, x-rays and CAT scans included.

The WHO stated in 1956 that the genetic heritage is the most precious property for human beings.

The IAEA fixed all that on May 28, 1959 when they took charge of the UN’s WHO statements.

P.S. I wonder what happened to this guy Grossman?
Bet he’s “still on it” if we google him:

I have often wondered if a bunch of us contact Flint and tell him what we know (he may not know?) He’s a Zillionaire and I just bet he’d be a GREAT VOICE to help EXPOSE WHAT TEPCO AND THE JAPANESE GOV HAS DONE. Wonder if he knows about THE GANG (forget the name) that is running TEpco. That in in itself is MAJOR.

Whats the point of having such a vast inventory of war ingredients if there is no one to use them against left alive on the planet? Am I missing something or is this really overall a REALLY bad idea to pursue as a species?

Yes Whoopie a little bit of a buzz definitely helps… my other ‘anodynes’ are playing chess and jd hearts on yahoo games.

As all have experienced and mentioned, I’ve got some of the smartest friends/acquaintances who just don’t know, don’t wanna know… it really does ‘blow my mind’ as we used to say. And ‘creeps me out’ bigtime. It’s fascinating in a totally chilling way to watch and listen to them when I mention Fukushima. Or to mention it in an email and get… NO response. Like nothing. They just ignore the bit about Fukushima.

And yes I am more than a bit compulsive when it comes to checking enenews throughout the day. Like… fear, dread, hope all mingled.

It was stunning for me to learn that the spent fuel rods are more toxic than the reactor fuel. Just thinking of ALL those spent fuel rods in all those effing cooling pools in so many places … but most worrying, there at the Fuku site. Good grief!

I’m not too sure Anthony you have a good point though. I always thought they made laws against the use of nuclear weapons after ww2 but what’s the point in having laws when criminals like Obama (barry soetoro) ignore them and do stuff like torture POW’s. More people should be outraged but they have slowly rolled it out over the years through news, tv shows (24) and movies (law abiding citizen) God help us all.

There could be small nuclear explosions blowing bits of what’s left of Fukushima Dai Ichi/Ini’s infrastructure to smitherines and the morons would still claim to be in “cold shutdown”. Guess that’s coming next, the boom booms.
