Iran wrestles Duqu malware infestation
Son of Stuxnet cyberweapon makes landfall in Tehran

Iran admitted on Sunday that unspecified computer systems in the country had been infected with the Duqu worm, a strain of malware similar to the infamous Stuxnet worm that sabotaged key nuclear plant systems in the country last year.
The head of Iran’s civil defence organization told the official IRNA news agency that the outbreak was under control. “The software to control the [Duqu] virus has been developed and made available to organisations and corporations,” Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali said, AFP reports.

Ya know…
We actually save ourselves by our own words…deeds…and actions…or not…it is all relative to the Law of Cause and Effect.
It has always been that easy and most of us make our own beds and sleep in them. Some, however think not. After one goes to the other side and comes back, they certainly KNOW there is something else of a far Higher Nature than the five basic elements one is made of.
Pretty simple…and just all around basic philosophy.

Is this really news? Cesium from Fuk has spread across the northern hemisphere–why should we be surprised that it’s in anothe part of Japan?

It has been over 20 years since the end of the cold war, and yet the United States continues to spend enormous sums on its nuclear arsenal and related programs. In fact, rather than looking for ways to save money in this budget-conscious time, the National Nuclear Security Administration is asking for even more money to build one of its most unnecessary projects yet: a second big plutonium facility at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The facility, which the administration says it needs to produce more nuclear warhead cores, called pits, would cost between $4 billion and $6 billion to build, and roughly a quarter billion a year to operate. Strikingly, despite the decade (and about $450 million) spent developing the proposal, the administration still doesn’t have a firm cost estimate or a final design. That hasn’t kept it from asking for money, though: this year it is requesting an additional $270 million to continue planning, part of a proposed $621 million increase for warhead management.

Japan farm radioactive levels probed:

New research has found that radioactive material in parts of north-eastern Japan exceeds levels considered safe for farming.
The findings provide the first comprehensive estimates of contamination across Japan following the nuclear accident in 2011.
Food production is likely to be affected, the researchers suggest.
The results are reported in the Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) journal.

TONY EASTLEY: With nuclear fallout fears from the Fukushima nuclear meltdowns spreading, local councils in Tokyo have begun checking schools and parks for radioactive contamination.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has also announced spot checks of fresh and processed foods.
The ABC’s North Asia correspondent Mark Willacy went along to one school in his Tokyo neighbourhood to report on the search for radioactive hot spots.

Taking thyroid tests to the children in Fukushima
Doctors in Fukushima Prefecture are hitting the road to improve children’s’ access to thyroid tests in an effort to spot possible health problems associated with the nuclear accident in the prefecture.
Medical personnel visited a health center and a nursery school in Kawamata Town on Monday and conducted ultrasound scans on about 240 children. The town is about 47 kilometers from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.
The tests, which began last month, were initially available only at a medical university in Fukushima City.
People not living in the city found it hard to bring their children to the university for the tests.
The tests cover about 360,000 children in the prefecture who were 18 years old or younger as of April 1st, about 20 days …

Shareholders to sue TEPCO execs over nuke accident
Tokyo Electric Power Company shareholders are preparing to sue the utility’s current and former executives over the nuclear accident at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant.
The group of 42 individuals asked the company’s auditors on Monday to file a lawsuit against 61 people who have held executives posts since 2002.
The shareholders are requesting compensation of over 5.5 trillion yen, or about 71 billion dollars, from the executives. The amount is the highest ever demanded in a lawsuit in Japan.
The investors say the TEPCO executives failed to take steps to protect the plant from earthquakes and tsunami and must be held accountable for the accident.

UPDATE: European Iodine Leak Situation

Still not a word out of the IAEA and no countries are coming forward with new information. We compiled historical radiation readings from the region in an attempt to locate the source of the iodine leak in eastern Europe. There is not enough available data to clearly pin down a source. Factors like wind direction and topography impact where and how radiation travels. This also appears to be moving very slow. The first report is Oct. 10th in Ukraine with the last initial report being Oct 27 in Norway. Japanese WBC lies
The technique is only applicable to radioactive material that emit gamma rays, although in certain circumstances, beta emitters can be measured also. Disadvantages of whole body counting are that it can only be used for gamma emitters, except in special circumstances, and it can misinterpret external contamination as an internal contamination. source
WBC DOES NOT DETECT ALPHA AND BETA INTERNAL CONTAMINATION. THE SPECIFICITY FOR INTERNAL GAMMA CONTAMINATION DETECTION IS ALSO QUITE QUESTIONABLE.

I haven’t trusted government since when I was born, but I totally quit listening to them in the evening of 3/11.
I knew reactor 3 had a nuclear explosion, not hydrogen explosion on 4/25.
I still can’t find a word to express my feeling.
It tasted like the mixture of grief, desperation, and rage.
Rage made me write this blog. I couldn’t help it. Internet was my only weapon.
so it is natural for me to be under their surveillance …
