There is a computer simulation system called SPEEDI, which the national government has spent 13 billion yen to develop. If you input the amount of radiation, topography, weather, wind direction, etc., the system will calculate where the leaked radioactive materials may go.

OT: Kiyoshiro Imawano “Meltdown”
He was a rock musician, composer, producer and actor. He died of a cancer in 2009.
Way ahead of his time.
Imawano and his band RC Succession were stopped from releasing their album “Covers” in 1988 allegedly because of anti-nuclear and ant-war messages in the songs. Their record company? Toshiba.

I know some really sharp Aussies, but Fatcat is about as dumb as a fence post:

Excerpt: “South, in Tokyo, radiation levels are reportedly 20 times normal. Sounds scary. But even 20 times a very tiny number is still a tiny number. Do the residents of Tokyo have anything to worry about, let alone panic about? Not yet.
As I’ll explain below, the best way for the Japanese to deal with this extra radiation dose is not to panic or leave the city. Rather, simply give up cigarettes for the duration of the disaster or just foregoe that next dental x-ray.”
SP: I wonder if Fatcat would do a house swap for a year… Lease his house to a Japanese family in exchange for their house in Tokyo? He says it is safe…

Use of robots at the Fukushima nuclear plants (or what remains of them…). I thought this was an interesting read. This may have been posted before (so don’t bust my chops), but I’m posting anyway for those who may not have seen it. Kind of gives an idea what’s going on over there at ground level besides looking at those single pov webcams.

Why Goldman Sachs (and Warren Buffett) Always Win
“History proves that at this time, November of 2008, Warren Buffett was just about to lose all his money. But apparently in 2009, Goldman experienced what from the financial statements was some sort of financial miracle. The “miracle” would be disclosed by the Federal Reserve:
“…Goldman Sachs…tapped one special Fed facility 84 times to borrow nearly $600 billion in overnight money….
“Without this $600 billion loan, Goldman Sachs would have gone broke and vaporized Warren Buffet’s $5 billion investment. And so his great intuitive decision about investing in Goldman Sachs was probably the worst decision he has ever made. But, wait, this raises the same old question that bedeviled Warren Buffett in his severe treatment of David Sokol for the use of insider information about his purchase of Lubizol stock before Buffett’s company purchased Lubizol for $9 billion.
“What did Buffet know, and when did he know it?”

ASU Research of earth’s largest mass extinction event:
http://www.geologytimes.com/research/New_technique_unlocks_secrets_of_ancient_ocean.asp
The mechanism of the end-Permian mass extinction has been much debated. One proposed cause for the extinction, the release of toxic hydrogen sulfide gas, is directly related to oceanic anoxia, which is a depletion of dissolved oxygen from the ocean.
Widespread evidence exists for oceanic anoxia before the extinction, but the timing and extent of anoxia remain unknown. Previous hypotheses posited that the deep ocean was depleted of oxygen for millions of years before the end-Permian extinction. The new research using measurements of uranium isotopes in ancient carbonate rocks indicates that the period of ocean-wide anoxia was much shorter.

The Mole At Occupy Wall Street
“That decentralization has strengths, too, however:
“And some academics who have studied dissent movements say that while being “leaderless” has some drawbacks, it could also have great advantages. Chief among them: It has allowed people with very different backgrounds – like union workers and anarchists – to rally behind the same broad message against corporate greed, without actually agreeing much on where the country should go from here.
“’They have achieved popular support so much quicker than anti-war movement, or civil rights movement,’ said Todd Gitlin, an expert on political dissent at Columbia University.”

A mysterious and potentially widespread disease is thought to have contributed to the deaths of dozens of ringed seals along Alaska’s Arctic coast. Scores more are sickened, some so ill that skin lesions bleed when touched.
“When you’re dealing with a pathogen and you don’t know what it is, even whether it’s bacterial or virus, it takes a lot of work to narrow it down and isolate it,” Herreman said. “But I’m a little surprised they haven’t come up with something yet.”

Hey Jill….it is so scary….
The Adventists are convinced, by Official Prophetic Doctrine,
that the
“Mark of the Beast” is is is the Observance of False Sabbath (Sunday).
I try to weasel-in little bits of underground media, talking about
microchip-implants, now evolved into Printed or tattooed ID-Data chips,
to the fact of FORCED VACCINATIONS, people having their Kids
taken by Govt agencies, already happening for many years.
They (Adventists) talk about the Coming “National Sunday Law”,
which would mandate compliance with the Catholic Authority, no
business allowed on Sunday, but ALSO, NO FREEDOM to Observe
Actual Sabbath (sundown Friday to sundown Saturday), nor any
other day, such as Islamic version of Sabbath.

I just was working from the end of the alphabet because there were so many sites to document. I did miss some. I looked at the west coast first, CA, CO (where I live),then skipped to Washington state.
The last reading for Carlsbad, NM was September 15. One has to suspect that they stopped taking readings because they were so high, perhaps off the chart as at Raleigh, NC, Oct 15, above 1000 (above measurable level on chart)
