TEPCO cam: 14 Dec. 21:44 JST the red flashing light on the crane to the left of reactor #1 is no longer there. There is steam venting from the left wall of reactor #1.
On the TBS/JNN cam there an orangish blob just to the right of reactor #4 that is pulsing. I have never seen this before. The green place just to the right of reactor #3 is larger than I have seen it before and is pulsing more than I have seen it before.

The green glow was freshly stocked up yesterday. The cranes lifted at least two lrg. rectangles out of three. I wonder if the tank shaped object, they lower the beams into is full of boron or nitrogen or something to help speed along a cold shutdown?

And the plume over reactor 4 efforts is still strong, covering up some of the worklights beams. Guess we all know now the work effort is to dismantle Reactor 4 or at least get to the fuel storage pools in the upper floors. That activity, which ENENEWS bloggers noticed several weeks ago with workers in the reactor 3 areas, and activity in the floors of reactor 4 –is also the reason TEPCO started blurring images..on BOTH webcams. Nuckelchens video captures document much of this action. Kudos to Nuckelchen..and the others on this blog that are capturing key elements in the disaster. Just hope it helps in the long run. Am very concerned on these ongoing disaster mitigation efforts–as not much is being done to help with radiation diseases from Fukushima.

On cutdown work at Reactor 4..Wonder if this is the BIG project..that was not going well..?? That they were going to try “again”. Any word on the health of workers doing this effort? There is no safety net or safe haven for these poor people..at Fukushima..or Japan…or Pacific islanss or West Coast USA.

The raven’s & crow family is described as “cannabilistic” by nature and I’d also wondered if they’re feeding on carcasses on the roof of R!?!! Today I felt some small sense of relief to see a hawk flying around in the open space between the TBS/JNN cam & the smouldering pile of crap known as Fukushima NPP-I hope he keeps flying all the way to the South Pole!! I wish we could ask the birds & the “drafted”monkeys that question! They’re likely the only ones who’d offer a straight-up truthful answer!! The P’sOS on legs seem to like to raise more concern & questions than they’re willing to answer important questions!!?? The IAEA was posting updates in the early months of the crisis and now they’ve sure shown their true colors and worth since they showed the world what they stand for around June when they posted the last update on Fukushima! The last I’d seen on R5-6 was that they had 3,000 tons of contaminated water in the basement turbine room,but I don’t know if it was floodwater from the Tsunami or “something else”?

During the Gulf Oil spill BP cut off the webcams/ROV footage as soon as the wellhead was capped. This to limit further viewing of any further oil leaks-out of sight out of mind. Now when any oil surfaces or leaks are seen at the surface..its “NOT BP PROBLEM.”

It looks like there is something billowing off the roof, on the left hand side, too. Heat waves? It almost looks like more of that greenish looking stuff. Did anyone notice that? Or is it from the camera shifting around?
See 5:00 to 6:30 in the second video. All around the center where the green light was in the first video, and all across the background, reflecting off the cranes in the background, is a blue/purple glow, and flashes of blue light. The top of the center tower is lit up on blue, too. On the left of the center tower there is an occasional flash of blue light. It’s very quick; maybe only 1/10 of a second, each time it happens.
Wow! In the last video, there are splashes of blue light scattered all across the screen. They keep lighting up like tiny fireflies, twinkling. There’s also more of the blue and green lights flashing in the center, between the buildings.
There is also a bluish and indigo/purple glow in there, from time to time. Funny, but it looked almost like it had a lacy pattern, or something like you’d see in an aurora borealis display. Remember the old Franenstein movies, where the purple glowing thunderbolts would surround the machinery like a giant, sparking orb? That’s what it reminds me of ….
Did anyone else see that, or see it the way I did? Maybe it’s the graininess and low resolution from the camera distorting the image. I thought it looked really strange.
It reminded me of how the plant worker or journalist from Chernobyl described the light that came out of the building (in the documentary film on Chernobyl that someone posted a link to, on this site) when the reactor exploded. He said it looked like it had all the colors of the rainbow and that it was beautiful. He was transfixed by it, even though it was deadly in its beauty.

RE: Radiation Contamination, GMO’s and other environmental threats ….
Thinking today how little of our quality of life, in terms of safe and clean air, water, and food still exists. Our air is tainted with radiation, electrosmog, pollution. Our water is contaminates. So is our food. Are we making our last stand, trying our best to stand against the onslaught of contamination, everywhere? The greed and corruption I see all around me is sickening. If it continues in all its rapaciousness, how can life on earth to survive for even another 30 years? Before this, the end just didn’t seem possible.
Today I read a report and watched a video interview Dr. Joseph Mercola did with Dr. Don Huber, a University Professor from Idaho. Dr. Huber talks at length about the damage being caused to humans, animals, and life in the soil by GMO’s and Glyphosphate (RoundUp). When I learned of the seriousness of this problem today, beyond what I already knew, I got really angry. I urge anyone at all interested in knowing how very unsafe GMO’s are to take time to watch the two videos, and/or to read the .pdf documents (transcript of the interview).
I wonder if TPTB have even put together the “big picture” and realize life on Earth is being assailed on all fronts? I believe there are people like David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, the British Royals, and the Rothschilds (for example) who have a eugenics agenda. They and those who believe what is on the Georgia Guidestones, for example, would probably be pleased if 90% to 95% of the population was killed off.
I can’t help but ask myself, do the rest of the wealthy (those not in the 300 or so most wealthy and powerful people in the world) realize the extent of the threat? Aren’t they aware they will probably lose everything, too, including their lives? Are we just like a bunch of stupid lemmings rushing headlong toward the cliff?

I think you raise some good questions…there are so many people we haven’t heard from. How bout our religious leaders….we know on a daily basis how they feel about abortion, homosexuals, where are they on nuclear contamination? Where are our leaders? KUDOS! And it take a lot of time to do what Nuckelchen is doing. I hope by all of us giving a date/time from the webcam to target specific events, or non events, it helps with the evidence capture. Of course, with “cold shutdown” maybe the webcams “shutdown” as well. TEPCO has always said they would announce cold shutdown on Dec 16–true or not. And the cams would be down in December.
Again, if TEPCO takes down the webcams, the captured videos can be re-played on websites..and the Fukusihima situation and events kept in the public view. Save those videos!

I personally think the green goblin is just an emergency light flashing off of something painted green in the building. If you look at photos from the plant many things are painted lime green. The overhead cranes inside the building water pumps etc. If there was some kind of green glow or burning it should still be able to be seen during daylight and would produce steam or smoke…
That video is too pixelated and shaky for me to make a judgement. The other possibility is that it is arc flash from carbon air arcing, or welding, or maybe even torches? They are doing demolition work.
I do a lot of work in various power plants and know these things can appear different than they are. Between High pressure sodium/ mercury vapor lights and flashing lights things can take on an ominous appearance.
Not to say there aren’t things to be very worried about from the worst industrial disaster in recorded history. I just don’t believe the Goblin is what some people here think it is…
I saw it clearly as a still white light after it was placed there. They then were switching filters on the camera and it turned green – not sure if from filter as a lot was green or if the light itself has filters, but either way, clearly a light. Over the next few days I saw what appeared to me to be oscillating, but since that first day I have not seen it clearly as ever as I did that first day. I do believe you’re right it is a light and I also think the building colors affect things too along with filters and stuff from what I’ve seen.
Ummmm..photo 2..fighting dogs….photo 8…I noticed a haze..and the red foliage..directly above the buildings..is a different shade than the rest of the hillside..

The people that should be most concerned about this situation are anyone with a pre existing illness or habit that would cause a compromised immune system. Smokers good luck. The worker with plastic bags only keeps radioactive particles or dust off of your person. I think that many people don’t realize that the real radiation problems involve radioactive “waves” passing thru your body and changing the DNA makeup of said person. The “bags” keep radioactive dust which could be later inhaled or consumed that might cause later problems. These changes can’t be measured with any current devices. But that is not the real problem here…
I have worked in a nuclear plant and have vowed never to do so again. But the real truth is if you live hear any power plant you should move. A coal fired plant also gives off radiation and many other substances. I have personally been exposed to lead, cadmium, arsenic, asbestos, and many other heavy metals that are played down by my “superiors”.

Everytime a video capture of TBS/JNN cam shows bursts of steam/radiastion–the TBS/JNN cam visiblity goes away. Nuckelchen, you must be giving them MAJOR headaches. Its so hard to tell people the reactors are COLD..when steam keeps exploding..and a determined blogger/videographer is able to SHOW the events. The video showing area between Reactor 2 and 3 steaming with GREEN discharge, explosion–that is priceless. Wish Fairwinds would comment on WHAT is going on in that footage.
Can anyone explain this to me. Both of the following sites purport to show a “live” camera feed, but in one of them it is clearly much darker and later than the other. Which one is actually live?

A few days ago I watched it tear a girder out of the building before folding itself away to the right where it is now. So I don’t think it is one of the pumps, though it is articulated the same and is the same color. they’ve been spraying water via the concrete pumpers by R4 & R3 every day now for about 4 days at least! It reminds me way too much of the past Spring & Summer to allow any “delusions of grandeur” to be accepted by my “hopeful” & fading optomism pushed further to the back of my mind…a “preview” of expected press releases from TEPCO & Gov. of Japan supposedly coming by the weekend via MSM describes the impending announcement of all reactors being “stabilized” based on temperatures displayed by gauges in R#1 thru 4 being “well below” the set goal!!(?) So besides “the corium has left the building”responses I’d expect-how about the fact that those same trusty gauges being the ones that caused them to believe that the SFP’s were only partially uncovered when in fact they’d learned they were “bone dry” and completely exposed for an indeterminate amount of time?!! They will NEVER speak the truth & can’t be trusted with even a book of matches as far as I’m concerned! We are on our own and something extreme & unprecedented needs to happen within the walls of the pro-nuke govt.’s establishment before the next round of elections take place or it’s all for naught. I don’t see anything less changing our course on “auto-pilot” for self-destruction sooner or later,probably sooner…I’ve been rained on all day & have a massive headache so I’m gonna pull up before I get even more depressed & sick…Take care All

Does anyone know how long the TEPCO and TBS/JNN webcams will stay active? Of and on rumors surface about ending the streams–and if “stable”, will TEPCO follow the BP “playbook” on how to control the public?
During the Gulf Oil spill BP cut off the webcams/ROV footage as soon as the wellhead was capped. This to limit further viewing of any further oil leaks-out of sight out of mind. Now when any oil surfaces or leaks are seen at the surface..its “NOT BP PROBLEM.”

Lots of vehicles apparently leaving Fukushima (I assume that’s the road into the plant, right?) Relatively few going in. Gee, if they’re planning to announce cold shutdown, maybe they want as few people on sight as possible, so that if the, “Thar she blows!” is sounded, there won’t be many people around ….
Also — on the center foreground (between the buildings in the center) there is some strange looking stuff billowing up. ‘Wonder if it’s coming up out of the ground.
Where is that, on the plant site? Is it between Reactors 3 and 4? Near Reactor 3? Would someone please explain?

It looks like there is something billowing off the roof, on the left hand side, too. Heat waves? It almost looks like more of that greenish looking stuff. Did anyone notice that? Or is it from the camera shifting around?

See 5:00 to 6:30 in the second video. All around the center where the green light was in the first video, and all across the background, reflecting off the cranes in the background, is a blue/purple glow, and flashes of blue light. The top of the center tower is lit up on blue, too. On the left of the center tower there is an occasional flash of blue light. It’s very quick; maybe only 1/10 of a second, each time it happens.

Wow! In the last video, there are splashes of blue light scattered all across the screen. They keep lighting up like tiny fireflies, twinkling. There’s also more of the blue and green lights flashing in the center, between the buildings.
What on earth is going on there?

There is also a bluish and indigo/purple glow in there, from time to time. Funny, but it looked almost like it had a lacy pattern, or something like you’d see in an aurora borealis display. Remember the old Franenstein movies, where the purple glowing thunderbolts would surround the machinery like a giant, sparking orb? That’s what it reminds me of ….
Did anyone else see that, or see it the way I did? Maybe it’s the graininess and low resolution from the camera distorting the image. I thought it looked really strange.
It reminded me of how the plant worker or journalist from Chernobyl described the light that came out of the building (in the documentary film on Chernobyl that someone posted a link to, on this site) when the reactor exploded. He said it looked like it had all the colors of the rainbow and that it was beautiful. He was transfixed by it, even though it was deadly in its beauty.

RE: Radiation Contamination, GMO’s and other environmental threats ….
Thinking today how little of our quality of life, in terms of safe and clean air, water, and food still exists. Our air is tainted with radiation, electrosmog, pollution. Our water is contaminates. So is our food. Are we making our last stand, trying our best to stand against the onslaught of contamination, everywhere? The greed and corruption I see all around me is sickening. If it continues in all its rapaciousness, how can life on earth to survive for even another 30 years? Before this, the end just didn’t seem possible.
Today I read a report and watched a video interview Dr. Joseph Mercola did with Dr. Don Huber, a University Professor from Idaho. Dr. Huber talks at length about the damage being caused to humans, animals, and life in the soil by GMO’s and Glyphosphate (RoundUp). When I learned of the seriousness of this problem today, beyond what I already knew, I got really angry. I urge anyone at all interested in knowing how very unsafe GMO’s are to take time to watch the two videos, and/or to read the .pdf documents (transcript of the interview).

I wonder if TPTB have even put together the “big picture” and realize life on Earth is being assailed on all fronts? I believe there are people like David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, the British Royals, and the Rothschilds (for example) who have a eugenics agenda. They and those who believe what is on the Georgia Guidestones, for example, would probably be pleased if 90% to 95% of the population was killed off.
I can’t help but ask myself, do the rest of the wealthy (those not in the 300 or so most wealthy and powerful people in the world) realize the extent of the threat? Aren’t they aware they will probably lose everything, too, including their lives? Are we just like a bunch of stupid lemmings rushing headlong toward the cliff?

I think you raise some good questions…there are so many people we haven’t heard from. How bout our religious leaders….we know on a daily basis how they feel about abortion, homosexuals, where are they on nuclear contamination? Where are our leaders? Have they all gotten some tap on the shoulder, they are keeping quiet cause this isn’t going to effect them…sounds crazy but you begin to imagine all kinds of things in this most unusual circumstance!

KUDOS! And it take a lot of time to do what Nuckelchen is doing. I hope by all of us giving a date/time from the webcam to target specific events, or non events, it helps with the evidence capture. Of course, with “cold shutdown” maybe the webcams “shutdown” as well. TEPCO has always said they would announce cold shutdown on Dec 16–true or not. And the cams would be down in December.
Again, if TEPCO takes down the webcams, the captured videos can be re-played on websites..and the Fukusihima situation and events kept in the public view. Save those videos!

I personally think the green goblin is just an emergency light flashing off of something painted green in the building. If you look at photos from the plant many things are painted lime green. The overhead cranes inside the building water pumps etc. If there was some kind of green glow or burning it should still be able to be seen during daylight and would produce steam or smoke…

That video is too pixelated and shaky for me to make a judgement. The other possibility is that it is arc flash from carbon air arcing, or welding, or maybe even torches? They are doing demolition work.
I do a lot of work in various power plants and know these things can appear different than they are. Between High pressure sodium/ mercury vapor lights and flashing lights things can take on an ominous appearance.
Not to say there aren’t things to be very worried about from the worst industrial disaster in recorded history. I just don’t believe the Goblin is what some people here think it is…

I saw it clearly as a still white light after it was placed there. They then were switching filters on the camera and it turned green – not sure if from filter as a lot was green or if the light itself has filters, but either way, clearly a light. Over the next few days I saw what appeared to me to be oscillating, but since that first day I have not seen it clearly as ever as I did that first day. I do believe you’re right it is a light and I also think the building colors affect things too along with filters and stuff from what I’ve seen.

Photo 2. Those poor dogs, probably starving and suffering from separation anxiety… photo 8. Pic taken thru bus window causing the haze look. As far as the shade of hillside. It’s fall and could be temperature differences dependent on elevation or different species of trees. Or radiation causing abnormal reactions?
Keep in mind I’m not questioning anyones opinion on the situation. I just think SOME things are being over emphasized here. The people that should be most concerned about this situation are anyone with a pre existing illness or habit that would cause a compromised immune system. Smokers good luck. Asthma sufferers, diabetics, anyone with a past cancer event, etc etc etc…
Overpopulation and technology led us here and it will lead us back into the “dark ages”… Will humankind be eliminated? No… Will it be survival of the fittest? Maybe…

Heart of the Rose I agree with you. Children will be the true victims of this disaster… People who made their choices about what they consume will be victims of their own destruction.
The worker with plastic bags only keeps radioactive particles or dust off of your person. I think that many people don’t realize that the real radiation problems involve radioactive “waves” passing thru your body and changing the DNA makeup of said person. The “bags” keep radioactive dust which could be later inhaled or consumed that might cause later problems. These changes can’t be measured with any current devices. But that is not the real problem here…
I have worked in a nuclear plant and have vowed never to do so again. But the real truth is if you live hear any power plant you should move. A coal fired plant also gives off radiation and many other substances. I have personally been exposed to lead, cadmium, arsenic, asbestos, and many other heavy metals that are played down by my “superiors”.

Everytime a video capture of TBS/JNN cam shows bursts of steam/radiastion–the TBS/JNN cam visiblity goes away. Nuckelchen, you must be giving them MAJOR headaches. Its so hard to tell people the reactors are COLD..when steam keeps exploding..and a determined blogger/videographer is able to SHOW the events. The video showing area between Reactor 2 and 3 steaming with GREEN discharge, explosion–that is priceless. Wish Fairwinds would comment on WHAT is going on in that footage.
