  • On the tepco feed:

Is that steam to the left of reactor 1?

Also. The clouds are really blue.

And reactor 3 looks pretty active too…

Winds are high at Fukushima. Note the Reactor 3 in TEPCO webcam shows "dust?" emissions? and also flying junk too. Winds will be high until tomorrow per one weather simulation. Not safe to be outside. One comment, the contaminated dust/soil and such –in Western Japan..is getting re-deposited in East Japan with this storm.

On TepcoCam now the sheets that make up the tent over R1 are showing dramatic cracks intermittently as the wind moves them. Also the vents high up on the long wall facing the camera are blowing open regularly – they look like large tarps flapping.

"The cover is made up of 20-meter-square polyester sheets, with each sheet held down by two weights weighing 7 and 12 tons."

    http://blogs.wsj.com/japanrealtime/2011/12/15/a-circus-tent-for-fukushima-daiichi/

In the foreground, left of the pipes on the screen, some debris that looks like a dumpster lid is flapping from time to time.

For a while you could see each panel clearly outlined – horizontally and vertically separated from its neighbor. The base of the triangular gable end also opened every minute or two.

The sky seems much less cloudy now, and the gaps in the panels appear infrequently. Perhaps the worst is over. JNN cam is still unwatchable because of wind shudder.

That's one drafty tent though – I wonder what it released.

Reactor 1 shows reactions inside the "tent"; and emissions showing from all reactors. Steaming up into the sky, floating crane (still, again), flashes in the air over Fukushima. Then look at TBS Webcam, the large vent/stack to the right of Reactor 4 –clouds of yellowish emissions are seen rising from the ground up to the top of the vent. HEY..wasnt TEPCO saying they could "filter" up to 99% of radioactive particles out of the vented gases? REALLY?

Grading reactors after looking at TBS webcam, Reactor 2, Reactor 1, Reactor 4, and Reactor 3. So today Reactor 2 gets the "rose."

more and more commercial channels are opens at last there.

    thats not allright for me.
    and one more:
    i don't wanne be part of a video-community together with TEPCO !
come on, whats going on ?

    http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialTEPCOen

This is the official TEPCO YouTube channel. We post our videos such as the status of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station here.

    cool youtube,
five points and all thumbs up!

    who's coming next?
    heckler und koch?
    god & devil?

the putting together from a up-grown private video-network with paid customers will not working !

and what a blubb tepco writes:
the fuku1live and fukulong are commercical channels from tepco too !!!
paid by tepco and all rights are by their network-admin.
    so what ?

    okeeeh,
the new channel should be for their crappy tepcolored videos, but that is not ok, no !

a bitly more of "feeling" i would expected from the youtube headers.

TBS/JNN is down: "This live event has ended"

Tepco is also playing tricks again with the live feed:

    http://www.tepco.co.jp/nu/f1-np/camera/index-j.html

Look how slow the clouds are…

Now look at Fuku1live from an hour ago:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjtKV2w_unM&list=UUDu1KkkwuzybKx6MXQgGHuw&index=1&feature=plcp

The clouds are zooming past at high velocity.

SP: I think I got the video jocks in trouble with their bosses this morning when I pointed out how the invisible nuclear heat is burning off the clouds passing over reactors 1-4. The truth hurts and we know that Enenews is VERY popular with the Fuku techies AND their supervisors. *;-)

I am just glad we get a chance to speak for the poor little fokkers in Fukushima Prefecture who are dying as we speak. That's some hot alpha deposits they are finding now. No problem…just scrape it off or wash it into the water supply. >;->

Hey guys…can you speed up the live cam a bit? *;-)

I can't watch a live feed. So when I sign into YouTube to review the Fuku1live archives I scan the list first for what hours are missing .. what hours are cut to less than the 3 minute/15 minute standard format.

Personally I do not think Crapco photoshops the vids. They just cut them or not post them at all. But since they are autofed they have to do this often after the initial upload. I saw it happen again today .. my first glance through the list .. most hours accounted for and the rest the appropriate length.

Then voila .. some reappear truncated or missing altogether. I had one cued today to view; wouldn't play so I gave up, went to next in line. When I went back it had 30 seconds (fuku1live version) cut out.

So the big question is what aren't we seeing in the missing archival records? Crapco thinks we are so stupid we won't notice what's missing now? Attitude is wtf you gonna do about it? We can show you nothing if we want.

Watching the archives is becoming waste of time .. knowing what those sometimes small seeming missing pieces (and there are many lately) is vital.

What a joke the "archive" has become.

@nuckelchen You are wonderful and appreciated. Just looking at Reactor 2 today (April 6 ) ..lots of inside tent red flames showing. Plus fire at edge of Reactor 3 base and near reactor 4. Not good. And in Oregon, USA, they have suddenly "discovered" contamination by cesium from Fukushima. Dont think its a sudden occurance..its been happening for a year.

Tepcam view shows increased activity – flames/eruption just to the right of base of vent stack 2. Changes from orange/red/white. Time about 18.50 JST. Looks quite big and seems to be getting bigger.

  • jec jec

Yes, see that Wotcha. Flames inside the Reactor 2 tent as well as emissions showing up. Have to look at both webcams..one,TBS to see the fires (R2 and base of R3), and TEPCO to see the emissions flowing out. And again, those emissions are NOT being filtered in anyway we can see.

Mr. TEPCOman, you said emissions would be filtered from the vents-and catch 99% of the radiation. This does not seem to be happening. Its like the brine/water from the reverse osmosis systems, the very contaminated water with extreme levels of dangerous radiation–you let that flow straight into the ocean we all need to have for life. SHAME!

On the timelapse 1800 t0 1900 @ 2.46in I noticed a short release of steam or whatever. The emissions pouring upwards from that area looks bad and still does.
Unstoppable deadly pollution and with no end in sight. And what angers me is that TPTB must know exactly what's happening and are just drip-feeding snippets of information here and there, with 'maybes' and 'probableys' rather than precise information.

Due to medications, or lack of medications, have been offline frequently. My medications, chemo Methotrexate injections, have not been available or out of stock for months. This medication, without preservatives in the formulation, is also used to STOP or put into remission acute leukeamea in children, not just for immune system disease or other cancers. The shots are given once a week. Its curious the medication is out of stock world wide–or is it being used in Japan quietly. Without the medication, sometimes I am not well–and the oral dose of 12 pills is too difficult to take. So sometimes I am not online.

WHY do we scream to deaf ears???
Sadly, if not for the children, I would almost say that if you wont listen, then die a skeptic…
But they MUST LISTEN, or they really will outlive their own children..

TBS view of R2 looks odd to me today – have they been working on it whist I've been asleep? Kinda hard to make out what's there, except extra lighting and the wall looks see-through?? And I do think the white/red place in the middle of R3 is some sort of burning off, maybe of the energy being produced still. Personally I don't think the view is a re-run – looks to be new stuff there to me.
And R4 always worries me how grim it looks, and the sloping bit in the middle particularly. I haven't seen them working on it for a while now, but maybe they are pouring stuff in which can't be seen in view? The lack of news as to what is really happening is appalling and cannot be condoned when the catastrophe is having such a major impact on so many peoples' lives.
