NoNukes; Level three is where that big gaping hole resides that Nukelchen said a
truck could be driven through it. The spent fuel pool should be to the right of it behind the wall.
You can see the outlines of the top of it in the photo of Feb. 24, 2012. From the last photo
it looks like no roof over the SFP. Open to the heavens?.
The question now becomes not whether the SFP is there or not, it is there.
What is the integrity of the pool structure and the rods in since it has caught on fire due to lack of water. How are they feeding water to it. Don't see the putszmeister working as in

Yes, Sam, there used to be a gaping whole in level 3, yet we could cross our fingers and hope that that the sfp was still there, but now level 3 is transparent, you can see the ocean.
I may be mistaken but to me looking at the live cam I would think the spent fuel pool

holes where we can see the ocean through it. We do need more up to date photos

difficult to tell what is with that building from Tepco Cam.
If the spent fuel pool is on the side of the building with gaping holes to the ocean

center of the building? The earlier photos I put up did not show it. My gut tells
me there's a cover up going on to the true state of the SFP there. We need more

Sam, it has always been my understanding that the Spent Fuel Pool is on the farthest side with the gaping holes to the ocean. I think there was a "temporary pool" that might have run into trouble on the other side.
You can check out Nuckelchen's photos and see what you think, where they have been putting water, etc.

I see two white box-y units at the base of R4…
… One on the far rt. corner, the other central.
Keeping in mind that what appears to be ground level from the JNN camera is NOT ground level but instead a rise in elevation with vegetation. There is a good 15-20 feet not seen before the ground elevation where the base of R4 sits.
Along the top of each white box-y unit I see a complete and intact floor. This appears to be the main reactor work floor. If you notice in the video of the close-up with workers scrambling "around"…
… Notice where they're scrambling around, both on and around.
I'm going with the idea that TEPCO is clearing away as much of the R4's upper building above the reactor work floor so as to build a new construction both to encapsulate the SFP and to remove fuel.
Fingers are crossed for the next, oh… ten years or so.
The reporter of TBS / ANN: "We are unable to visualize the pool of unit No. 3."
The details of the day is mentioned by ANN that the reporter was surprised, while having a great view down to the unit No. .3, not being able to distinguish the location of the spent fuel pool…
This video leaves a very strange taste in the mouth, cranes placed in the same location (south wall of BR 3 and 4 leave no doubt: it is indeed the same area of the reactor building; why in one case is is perfectly able to distinguish the top of the pool and the loading crane while the floor seems perfectly clear on the other plane?
Just a TENT will not do it.Believe a comment was made about cutting down the building to allow the tent frame/fabric to "fit". But just tenting with light materials will not help, it just covers up the scary view. Well..until the SFP #4 goes then it will be pretty obvious. I thought I saw the yellow containment cap on the side where the cranes are now. Remember seeing a crane lifting it off and into the sky, taking it in the air behind Reactor 3 from the TBS/JNN webcam. So that black area is from the containment vessel..that is "supposed" to be empty???
Its "empty" now–blackened and melted looking area..is that the temp fuel pool? Or the containment vessel that did not have "any nuke material in it?" Really???
Does not look like it should be there in that place. perhaps it was blown off its top
and landed there. That blackened mass inside 4, when did that all happen? fires
from where:? how long? which spent fuel pools? from reactor itself? from something below thereactor in one of those secret rooms where they may have been militarising the
fuel? again to many unknowns and no details.
It was removed because they were preparing to reload with the fresh fuel bundles that were already in the SFP…
… My guess is that they may have even been ready to refuel on 3/11.
Max1. BINGO!
They were done with maintenance, and were ready to refuel 4 on 311. I've seen somewhere a photo or video of SFP4 that actually shows the new fuel assemblies sitting in the corner of SFP4. I can look it up in my SFP4 file of images, if someone wants to see them. They were new fuel bundles, all ready to go, and were loaded into adjacent spaces, all in one corner of the SFP. All of the used fuel in SFP4 was loaded with empty spaces around each assembly. I have been wondering whether TEPCO had ordered new MOX fuel, and were awaiting final approvals before switching Reactor4 to MOX. There was quite a lot of buzz about SFP4 having a load of new MOX fuel back in 2011. I wonder if that is what's creating all the doomsday talk about Fuku4? (BTW, don't bother telling me that new fuel is not that radioactive, blah, blah, blah. If new fuel is part of a molten mass at the bottom of SFP4. It will be plenty active, alright.)
They were planning on putting MOX into more than one reactor over a decade ago. I see no reason to trust Tepco's claims on anything, especially when it seems very convenient, as even they have admitted that they lost the public's trust long ago, after an impressive history of lying in the 20th century. Just look at the most recent photos of the "Reactor 4 Spent Fuel Pool," would like to see the old ones you have, hope they are more convincing.
A miracle–brown vegetation..becomes GREEN over night! Just the other day, comments on the brown colors when they should be green. TADA! A wonder of modern science..overnight GREENING (or spray painting…).
JNN cam has been showing lots of activity by the big cranes for the last hour or so, much like what was happening about 24 hours ago. Without speculating much about what they are doing – it does seem to confirm that Tepco is not on vacation and Tepco does not take weekends off. That of course raises questions about whether those reports were false, whether the situation has changed recently or whether some parts of the operation got shut down, but not the cranes.
Anyway, according to JNN cam, they are busy right now.
The flow of activity baffles me. This time it appears that the big crane near #2 moves a load to within reach of the crane near #3, which then picks it up and moves it to within reach of the small crane by the sea, which then… dumps it in the ocean? Yesterday, the big crane near #4 was very active. The last hour, it seems not to have moved at all.
Closeup images of the loads and destinations would be fascinating.
Sacrificing the workers — but probably no other choice. Hope they dont know what a fatal radiation exposure does to them, sickness wise.
On the crane..hope Nuckelchen has some footages..but looks like a white container..in some cases..and people in white suits in Reactor 4 behind the black area. Wonder if they are trying to offload the nuclear "material we are not supposed to know about"..MOX or ?? And into the ocean dumping is a real possiblity as Japan/TEPCO (now its JAPAN's government in charge) seems to think that is the only viable option. Until someone YELLS!
Thanks, pure water. That's the kind of activity I was seeing in real time. The timelapse is a much better way to watch it, but it's still baffling.
I think I see additional activity near the ocean from a much smaller "normal size crane", starting around 4:40, way over on the right side of the image, near the cooling tower. Up to now, I was always fixated on the giant cranes.
The flow of movement of whatever they are doing always seems to be towards the ocean, generally out of camera sight behind R4. I'd like to think they are filling barges or making piles for pickup or some such, but I'd bet they are just dumping – perhaps this is the "concrete-lined containment" project.
The source material seems to come from R2 area at least as often as from R4.
Arnie wants us to watch R4 like a hawk, but he doesn't tell us how we can do that. Watching from these cams is crazy-making, but the time-lapse helps.
1. Did reactor2 explode ? Nuclear workers state they heard the sound of explosion. However, the torus room is not damaged.
2. What happened to reactor4 ? At first, Edano chief secretary of cabinet announced “a gas bottle had a small explosion”. However, it’s obviously a lie. Some nuclear worker say, reactor4 did not explode, it melted.
3. Was the reactor4 really empty ? There is a thermography from above reactor4 building, but it showed inside of PCV (container vessel) is as hot as SFP4. Now I can’t find the link.
Lets keep up the hunt as you are so admirably doing.
Still too many unknowns about 4 even though we have
lots of experts warning us about the impending doom
to come from 4. Would be great to hear from all these
experts about the questions being raised here about 4.
1. what happened to the reactor in 4.
2.what caused all the blackened mess there?
3.If the SFP caught on fire due to lack of water and water subsquently
can't put it out, then how did it go out? Burn out completely?
4. what is the structural integrity of the concrete of the pool from that
fire? did it break? if so where is the molten remaining mass?
5.how come tepco kept lights on to obscure the view of 4 during the day
6. How come the readings of 400 milliserverts lper hour?
for how long?
7.How do they explain West Coast fallout much more worse than anticipated?
where's the data?
8.What is tepco doing at reactor 4 in real time.
Perhaps the administration can start aggregating the experts commentary
to these important questions being raised by the community here.
@ wideawake .. yep .. that's a creepy clip. Good eye .. has anyone compared it to the Tepco cam .. or is that the one that's missing from the archives?
Thanks .. sorry if I missed messages about it. Started having dreams w the Fuku1live pan shot in them as background. Needed a timeout I think. :/
"Good morning everyone
We have come together today because all over the world, people are suffering the
effects of radiation, whether from the fallout from nuclear weapons testing, from the
explosion of the nuclear reactors at Chernobyl, at Fukushima and other accidents, from the
use of depleted uranium weapons, or from the so called « normal » emissions, in water or air,
produced by the nuclear industry. We have chosen to meet here, 200 metres from the World
Health Organization headquarters because this international institution, in contemptuous
disregard for its own constitution, adds insult to injury by denying the victims’ suffering."

Great find, Nucy! Thanks!
I am still on this topic, completely puzzled. It appears that deep ocean is suitabale for dumping dangerous waste. There are some "pockets"deep down, where the water can stay for decades, even senturies. Freons were not found dissolved there, while present in shallow waters. I continue to follow this map: http://www.sailwx.info/wxobs/watertemp.phtml
No 38 C today, but -5 near India is there. This -5 is constant, while 38 appears and disappears, changing the shade. How is it possible?
The information they use is described this way:
Ship weather reports and track maps are based on data reported via the World Meteorological Organization's Voluntary Observing Ship (VOS). Additional reports come from the YOTREPS network of cruising yachts.
Additional weather data comes from the NOAA Forecast System Laboratory's MADIS database.
Tide predictions are provided by a heavily modified version of David Flater's program Xtide.
Maps are produced using the University of Minnesota Mapserver, with datasets derived from the NIMA VMAP-0 layers, popularly known as the Digital Chart of the World. Maps are written in PHP/Mapscript.
I do not know what to think and just dig here and there, when I have time. Some past videos make me suspect big escape of lava from the reactors to the ocean too, not just contaminated water. But really do not know…
I have no idea whats occuring in R4 except to say its burning.(grin).. The weirdest thing is R4 in this clip supposedly from the previous day… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdOwBY7_Koo ..it looks in a worse state, than when last seen in blue screen clip..the top steel girder is not there and top left looks partially collapsed…think they mess with the order? …erm highly likely…and tepsham's doing what its good at, covering their own a"%^$.
That first video reminds me so much of Dec. 5, watching late at night, a flash od red/orange that illuminated the night sky, then the JNN cam went down for a long time, when it came back up, parts of R4 were missing.
To me this video that Wotcha posted looks centered right at r3. It reminds me of how Arto Lauri said that, in the explosion(s) at r3, some went down and some went up. I wonder if this is caused by the MOX that didn't go "up." Maybe this has been a concern all the way along since they couldn't touch r3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V71EclYZm2c
I wonder if LIVECAMERA CHECKER is giving trouble, Tepco can't edit the way they used to.
I was about to post the same thing when I saw your post. I have been watching it for the last 10 minutes. Appears to be lots of smoke coming from that area.
It is emitting like hell for hours. The other reactors are not calm too, but 4 is the biggest problem. TBS is useless today and we can not see much of 4 from tepco`s camera. May be fire, may be boiling water, amy be some secret operations of burning ot removing radioactive materials, or radioactive gases reacting with vapor in the air.

Thanks Mungo…at 5 miles per hour and 38 miles from the nuclear plant to Fukushima City…they should be getting some fresh fallout anytime now.
FWIW…I think most people in America in a city the size of Fukushima City (200,000 adults, 90,000 children) would be long gone by now. But that's just my opinion and it is worth only the pixels you see.
Trivia about Fukushima Prefecture:
Most Fukushima City residents utilize the Sendai Airport in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture (about 8 miles south of Sendai, a city of 1 million people). Sendai Airport is about 38 miles by train and road from Fukushima City.
Fukushima Airport (located in Sukagawa (a Fukushima prefecture city with about 78,000 residents) is about the same 38 miles from the capital (Fukushima City), but does not have high speed train service nor offer as many flights as Sendai Airport.
Original sea bluff elevation of Fukushima Nuclear Power plant site was 35 meters (about 115 feet) above sea level. To anchor the reactor buildings closer to the bedrock to make them more earthquake-resistant the construction crews chopped 25 meters (about 82 feet) off the top soil and the resulting plant is 10 meters (32 feet) above sea level.
Tepco also wanted a lower site to save money pumping from the Pacific Ocean (and easier to dump radioactive waste presumably). This bad elevation decision was a factor in the tsunami damage along with placing the EDGs (Emergency Diesel Generators) at ground level.
Fuku fog, ground up fog let's call it. Spewing fog with quite a few dozen radioactive elements from the periodic table. Fuku cold pancakes with corium fog as syrup. Another day, another dose!!!
Yum, my California girl's breakfast in a couple of days. When she saw the video that Heart posted of the criticality, she said, "That looks like a campfire." Maybe the menu will include some cute little plutonium marshmallows on top?
Remember North America, as pure water warned Japan, starting at least by Friday, do "not let your children out and do not inhale through the mouth."
What's exactly coming our way on the Jet Stream this
Friday? Are the Radioactive Noble Gas Clouds more
intense last few days from Fukushima? Should I be
off my tractor in N.Ca.. onFriday?
A National Emergency in this Country at this point in time? I dont think it would even work, I think were past any amount of trust from officials. I wouldnt want to be any where near Cali, North or South.
Nope. Everyone will be going to work as normal. Even my hubby. He runs a Farmers market. He says its more important that people get good food and that farmers have a place to sell it. Its his choice and his sacrifice.
Hi, el, I also still hear this, that it's organic, it's non-GMO. I told my friends a year ago in March that Fuku fallout would reach us sometime and contaminate the soil itself. Silly you, they said, as I stocked up on pre-2011 supplies. Last month they got back to me wanting to know where they could find clean foods. Which is the greater tragedy? Recall the story of the maidens who prepared their lamps and those who didn't?
Sam sez: "What's exactly coming our way on the Jet Stream this
Friday? Are the Radioactive Noble Gas Clouds more intense last few days from Fukushima? Should I be off my tractor in N.Ca.. on Friday?"
SP: You can see where you stand in North Califormia in this 60-hour loop as least as the jetstream flows:
That light blue oblong cloud coming across central to north California is part of the highspeed jetstream.
Whether it is loaded with radiation…that's a trillion dollar question. Your government knows, but they aren't sharing (economic panic you know). It undoubtedly has some radiation.
If you are on your tractor and it is air conditioned… ALWAYS run the AC closed loop…just like everyone should do in their vehicles.
Suffice it to say we are constantly getting some winds from Japan and some days are worse than others for toxins. Moving right along into On the Beach territory at a steady pace.
About ten more years and we'll all be pushing up daisies at this bioaccumulative rate in America. But things may escalate.
I'm having my usual radiation fallout related problems here in AZ today (asthma and stomach problems), although it could be because we had 5 fires over the last few days and the fires could be aerosolizing (sp?) fallout…
I think major events at the plant have been occurring for the last few weeks–ever since Tepco said they were going on vacation.
Since we must interpret everything anew like 'no immediate healt threat' and so on i think it's time to re-interpret the word vacation. I think it means TEPCO have left the building. Strange occurences started at the moment they decided to go on vacation. Human activity at the site could be staged.
I think handfuls are hanging around and doing some dangerous work…just not very many of them active…dozens maybe at a time. When they hit high body levels Tepco brings in some fresh victims.
Not quite like the 800,000 strong Ukrainian and Belarusian Chernobyl response, but there is not the same military dictatorship control in Japan.
Below is an interesting document…very slanted of course considering the source, but it does present a few new nuggets of info:
"To 31 December, Tepco had checked the radiation exposure of 19,594 people who had worked on the site since 11 March"
"However, since they [reactors] are leaking, the normal definition of "cold shutdown" does not apply, and Tepco waited to bring radioactive releases under control before declaring "cold shutdown condition" in mid December, with NISA's approval. This, with the prime minister's announcement of it, formally brought to a close the 'accident' phase of events."
SP: So now we know the word games of the nuclear mafia…
So the barbecue smoke over there at Fukushima has been more intense last couple of weeks
since they went on vacation and forgot to put out the burning coals. I should always assume
we are now getting blessed 24/7 by these Radioactive Noble Gas Clouds. Somedays more and
some less. I will start adding to my breakfast routine a daily check of the Jet Stream.
If Human activity is being staged over there, then 4 and others there really too hot to be near to work on.
Confirms our worst speculation. Duck and cover? Go out and buy duck tape?
One observation; my dog does not like to be outdoor too long at any one time. He wants
to come back in the house, even when I am working nearby outside.
The "fog" begins and ends abruptly, left to right, by 01:25. Exactly like a passing cloud. It seems to me there could have been an emission from behind the camera near R5 and 6. Can't anyone get current pix of that area?
Yes pink fog, going the opposite direction of the winds..and the GRASS is GREEN again..suddenly full and growing green. Gads..I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale too…
NO TBS/JNN webcam today. And TEPCO..well look at the clouds over Daiini (in the right mid-screen area)..they are showing flashed or reflections from the ground. Nice! To go with the floating crane (s) and the previous "pink fog". While I know we all appreciate the views, and the visual access, the fact the radiation emissions just continue is deadly.
And when one thinks about the emissions into the atmosphere as one contaminating feature, the ocean contamination is worse. The oceans are smaller in over all volume as compared to the atmosphere..so radiation is more contaminating in the seas. OR if I have this wrong, please correct me. I would LIKE to be wrong..
At the moment the contamination in the atmosphere is deadly for human beings and the contamination of the ocean is deadly for sealife. The emissions are ongoing so at this point i have no clue which is worse.
still no JNN/TBS feed. if anyone captured the feed before it went down, pls post the most recent footage.
jec, i'm no expert, but i think you're wrong about the volume of the oceans compared to atmosphere. the oceans are deep. the atmosphere is like a thin wrapping around the planet.
elibi, thnx for "pink fog at 01:10". it really helps to have a precise or approx time and know what to look for. at 01:18 i saw the pink fog blowing over from north of the reactors. anybody know how to interpret that?
Volume of air vs water–there is slighly more atmosphere than water. See http://boingboing.net/2008/03/11/all-the-water-and-ai.html.
BUT this raises the spector..of earth contamination, vs atmosphere and water. Frankly, its worse to my way of thinking because of the limit of the resources. So once its messed up..its hosed. And the "unlimited amounts" of water and air which can absorb the radiation–is very very finite. Don't know where the current TEPCO plan which allows dumping of radiation into the oceans/atmosphere –but its very very deadly. Just read the article, figure out the volume of air or water available–then consider the volume of fallout. Deadly.
Common spent fuel pool is to the right of #4 in the TEPCO webcam, where some people have seen a blue glow at the top of the building. It seemed to go on and off as the clouds passed by, so could have been a reflection from the sun. Still not a positive color.
For what it's worth, the crane near #3 is active now on TepcoCam. Assuming the cam is live, that suggests some form of "business as usual" (whatever that may mean).
Hello,
The "blue glow" I posted about is either the windows in the CSFP building, or the Rare Gas building… I have captured it at various times of day, sin up to sun down.. It is not a reflection…
5 and 6 are the other way.. Diani is directly behind the same area..
Hence why I still think the mushroom I posted was indeed from Diani..
But the blue is odd, and prominent.. Even when the Tepco cam goes "sepia-tone" the blue remains, thru even the pixelization…
Either they are welding in there, for days on end, or…..
TBS/JNN webcam is showing old footage. The "miracle" of video..Reactor 4 is back to its OLD self. So disregard THIS view this AM.
Mr. TEPCOman, not nice to do to the observers..but you know that don't you. When criminals are identified or charged people will remember who helped keep the danger hidden. Just remember what happened during the French Revolution and other events in history. History does repeat itself.
@jec Do you mean that BOTH the time lapses AND the live link I posted are re-runs? If so, YES it really IS deceitful. It's hard enough to try to decide on what's going on without them doing this. The spread of radiation reveals the truth though.
I meant the Fukushima live feed from TEPCO, not your posted. But check them. If Reactor 4 looks "healthy"…and look at TEPCO webcam, at Reactor 4..its steaming, emitting again tonight. IF they can put in a steel wall around in the ground, good. But what about the air…??

from where:? how long? which spent fuel pools? from reactor itself? from something below thereactor in one of those secret rooms where they may have been militarising the
fuel? again to many unknowns and no details.
Report Comment
It was removed because they were preparing to reload with the fresh fuel bundles that were already in the SFP…
… My guess is that they may have even been ready to refuel on 3/11.
Report Comment
Max1.
Report Comment
philipupnorth,
They were planning on putting MOX into more than one reactor over a decade ago.

Report Comment

Iori Mochizuki reports that a thermography suggested r4 was not so empty:
http://fukushima-diary.com/
There are a lot of questions about Fukushima.

Were these the thermal images Iori Mochizuki was referring to? I'll let you know what he says.

I am still on this topic, completely puzzled. It appears that deep ocean is suitabale for dumping dangerous waste. There are some "pockets"deep down, where the water can stay for decades, even senturies. Freons were not found dissolved there, while present in shallow waters. I continue to follow this map:
http://www.sailwx.info/wxobs/watertemp.phtml
No 38 C today, but -5 near India is there. This -5 is constant, while 38 appears and disappears, changing the shade. How is it possible?
The information they use is described this way:
Ship weather reports and track maps are based on data reported via the World Meteorological Organization's Voluntary Observing Ship (VOS). Additional reports come from the YOTREPS network of cruising yachts.
Quality control evaluations for VOS ships are available at http://www.meteo.shom.fr/vos-monitoring/

I think major events at the plant have been occurring for the last few weeks–ever since Tepco said they were going on vacation.
Report Comment
Since we must interpret everything anew like 'no immediate healt threat' and so on i think it's time to re-interpret the word vacation. I think it means TEPCO have left the building. Strange occurences started at the moment they decided to go on vacation. Human activity at the site could be staged.

Yes.
I believe that most if not all human activity at the site has been staged.
Once that yellow fog occurred I figured that no one was going to be able to operate safely at the plant for any length of time…

Exactly! I don't believe the timing is just coincidental.

Below is an interesting document…very slanted of course considering the source, but it does present a few new nuggets of info:
http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/fukushima_accident_inf129.html
Excerpt:
"To 31 December, Tepco had checked the radiation exposure of 19,594 people who had worked on the site since 11 March"
"However, since they [reactors] are leaking, the normal definition of "cold shutdown" does not apply, and Tepco waited to bring radioactive releases under control before declaring "cold shutdown condition" in mid December, with NISA's approval. This, with the prime minister's announcement of it, formally brought to a close the 'accident' phase of events."
SP: So now we know the word games of the nuclear mafia…
Report Comment
So the barbecue smoke over there at Fukushima has been more intense last couple of weeks
since they went on vacation and forgot to put out the burning coals. I should always assume
we are now getting blessed 24/7 by these Radioactive Noble Gas Clouds. Somedays more and
some less. I will start adding to my breakfast routine a daily check of the Jet Stream.
If Human activity is being staged over there, then 4 and others there really too hot to be near to work on.

Deadly.

Not sure but it could be from burning or possibly from Dani? Unreal

just finished catching up on new comments. I just posted above, could it be an emission from R5 or 6?
Report Comment
There have been other video captures of emissions coming from that same area.
Sometimes the emissions have been frightening looking.
I have no idea what is over there.
People have suggested it could be units 5 and/or 6. They have had problems reported but have been out of view and missing from most photography.
I think the common spent fuel pool is behind and to the left of (in the Tepco webcam) buildings 2 and 3 but I'm not sure about that.

Common spent fuel pool is to the right of #4 in the TEPCO webcam, where some people have seen a blue glow at the top of the building. It seemed to go on and off as the clouds passed by, so could have been a reflection from the sun. Still not a positive color.

I've been viewing this for smoke and comparing weather between the videos. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/%E5%B8%8C%E6%9C%9B%E3%81%AE%E7%89%A7%E5%A0%B4-%E3%83%A9%E3%82%A4%E3%83%96%E3%82%AB%E3%83%A1%E3%83%A9-%E5%8F%B7%E6%A9%9F

Hi anne! Alot of changes lately, and newcomers. I would like not to assume folks don't know where weve been. Good seeing you!

Double negative for you. I meant lets not assume.

The TBS link I was using seems to have gone private!! What's that all about?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B09Xl22MIyg&feature=youtu.be
But this one seems to be working:
http://www.youtube.com/user/tbsnewsi/featured
and time lapses have now been restarted:

A Large crane has been active over R4, picking stuff out and depositing it near R3 and a smaller crane has been working just to the right of the building.
All cranes are busy in this next clip:

Anyone have any ideas what the big black rectangle is for between R3 & R4?
