One thing you have to remember when your looking at the TBS/JNN camera is that it is a long way from the actual site. I think it's a good 6 or 7 miles away so there is all kinds of distortion and weather effects that are going on. I think I know which day you are talking about and it did look a bit saggy. In fact I played around with it with my eyes and was able to get it to melt into itself without a problem. But it is a perspective thing and takes some getting used to. That being said, who knows what we are looking at on either of those cameras, only Tepco knows……..

Your videos on the multiple vehicles emergency traffic activity corresponded were taken around this time frame. The black dust started to be found (IIRC) after shortly after this activity at the plant started last fall.
If JB was corrrect, then maybe they started dealing with controlled ignition of the spent fuels months ago. JB's ideas I thought merited consideration.

But there is a valid concern as to whether this is just yet another exercise in obfuscation with minutiae. We wish to know whether there even really still exists tons of spent fuel in a viable pool in that building, and if so, how much.
We have seen the recent webcam videos of what appears to be a burnt out hull of building #4. Please address the questions and comments below:

That first video reminds me so much of Dec. 5, watching late at night, a flash od red/orange that illuminated the night sky, then the JNN cam went down for a long time, when it came back up, parts of R4 were missing.
To me this video that Wotcha posted looks centered right at r3. It reminds me of how Arto Lauri said that, in the explosion(s) at r3, some went down and some went up. There was discussion on another thread about THE FLASH. I believe user anne suggested it was a camera adjustment. I am not a video cam expert, but I would say "I don't think so." The Flash is similar to a nuke light burst to me, especially the way it hangs for several seconds and then dims away.
I have not compared the nuckelchen video of the same time frame.
Maybe nuckelchen could 'chime in' here if he sees this.
I may research more a bit later or maybe someone else can. The comparison video might tell us something. I do see where you say you compared it and saw nothing. hmmm…?
Yet another mystery from lack of data. Data we may never see.
This was still Dec 5 California time…the flash looked very similar, to me.

THEY’RE RUNNING A LOOP!! -on the Lucas Whitefield page I was watching & looked away for a second about a half hour ago & caught a bright flash from my eye and then they pulled the thing up from by #3 (the CSFP?) and I was switching back & forth from the TEPCO to TBS cam & now all of a sudden the crane line’s back in the hole again on TBS but it’s not on the TEPCO cam!!?? Am I seeing things or what??!!

The elevated readings reported on the Radiation monitoring thread, like those you posted in Japan, those anne posted in Colorado, and the alert from the Radiation Network are not good. The Radiation Network's alert was from a "sensitive" geiger, not others, so I wonder how much of it is Alpha radiation, aerosolized plutonium, etc. making the rounds, again. On the other hand, gas prices are down 10 cents in some parts of the U.S. Lucky some of us.
Okay, so what your suggesting is the Tepco Cam goes on a loop if the other cam shows anything. That would make sense.

Well, I was probably wrong, because I didn't consider that there were running a loop right after the flash. Also I am now seeing the same color sky where I am in Colorado, which I found strange before, but didn't correlate to the very high elevated radiation readings before. There are so many scientists living nearby. Are they completely clueless, or just anesthetized? I watched the live stream of Fuku Daichi today from the press tour.
They had coverings over the seats and the metal railings. They were white at the beginning of the tour and were PINK by the end. Then they spent a long time afterwards, still on the buses in a big building where people were measuring the RADIATION on the outside of the bus.

I'm the one who cries wolf. We're all on tenterhooks. But I definitely saw light pulsing, centred on reactor 3 building for some seconds before the flash, with flashes above it when the mist cleared, and a lot of static. I don't think it was a sunset.
What I saw was time stamped 11:00 hours on the Tepco Web cam screen during the day. It was small amounts of dark gray smoke with "sparklies". Their day is ahead of us so it would have been the 26th.
(This was something different than the big flash stated above.)
However, the clip you provided which is the night prior shows some odd little flashes and a whole lot of steam.

Why so many cranes around unit 3? Have they started remdediating that reactor too? So many unknowns, to many unknowns for anything to be truly known. To me this video that Wotcha posted looks centered right at r3. It reminds me of how Arto Lauri said that, in the explosion(s) at r3, some went down and some went up. I wonder if this is caused by the MOX that didn't go "up." Maybe this has been a concern all the way along since they couldn't touch r3.

There was discussion on another thread about THE FLASH. I believe user anne suggested it was a camera adjustment. I am not a video cam expert, but I would say "I don't think so." The Flash is similar to a nuke light burst to me, especially the way it hangs for several seconds and then dims away.
I have not compared the nuckelchen video of the same time frame.
Maybe nuckelchen could 'chime in' here if he sees this.
I may research more a bit later or maybe someone else can. The comparison video might tell us something. I do see where you say you compared it and saw nothing. hmmm…?
Yet another mystery from lack of data. Data we may never see.

THEY’RE RUNNING A LOOP!! -on the Lucas Whitefield page I was watching & looked away for a second about a half hour ago & caught a bright flash from my eye and then they pulled the thing up from by #3 (the CSFP?) and I was switching back & forth from the TEPCO to TBS cam & now all of a sudden the crane line’s back in the hole again on TBS but it’s not on the TEPCO cam!!?? Am I seeing things or what??!!

Thanks for your posts, ChasAha. The elevated readings reported on the Radiation monitoring thread, like those you posted in Japan, those anne posted in Colorado, and the alert from the Radiation Network are not good. The Radiation Network's alert was from a "sensitive" geiger, not others, so I wonder how much of it is Alpha radiation, aerosolized plutonium, etc. making the rounds, again. On the other hand, gas prices are down 10 cents in some parts of the U.S. Lucky some of us.

Well, I was probably wrong, because I didn't consider that there were running a loop right after the flash. Also I am now seeing the same color sky where I am in Colorado, which I found strange before, but didn't correlate to the very high elevated radiation readings before. There are so many scientists living nearby. Are they completely clueless, or just anesthetized? It's like everyone just keeps going on in the same old routine, because they don't know how to do anything else. Either we've been completely brain washed, or the cell phone towers are broadcasting a certain frequency along with the GWEN towers to make our wills unable to do anything else.

I watched the live stream of Fuku Daichi today from the press tour.
They had coverings over the seats and the metal railings. They were white at the beginning of the tour and were PINK by the end. Then they spent a long time afterwards, still on the buses in a big building where people were measuring the RADIATION on the outside of the bus.

What I saw was time stamped 11:00 hours on the Tepco Web cam screen during the day. It was small amounts of dark gray smoke with "sparklies". Their day is ahead of us so it would have been the 26th.
(This was something different than the big flash stated above.)
However, the clip you provided which is the night prior shows some odd little flashes and a whole lot of steam.

The first flash lasts about thirty seconds right near the beginning.
4:45 – Then, after some camera movements there is one at 4:45 that that fades over a period of about 5 minutes. (?)
10:30 Then, at about 10:30 the camera begins to pull back from zoom. I did not realize how far away that camera is from the beach. Amazing.
10:45 Then, at 10:45 or so… 'poof' it's magically daylight., but the downwind fog remains purplish. (?)
14:28 At the end it zooms back in and things appear to be dark.

Why so many cranes around unit 3? Have they started remdediating that reactor too? So many unknowns, to many unknowns for anything to be truly known. What we are seeing is only the above ground portions of the problem. Most of the invisible unknowns are really unknown and underground out of site. One can only speculate at this point. We need to start a list of the known problems and the unknown problems. The unknown problems are the ones that will do us in. What if an indivdual loses it after accidently becoming contaminated? Turns a couple valves at nite, falsifies a couple of logs brings the whole complex down. This scares the crap out me, due to the fact that radiation effects the human brain.

That's a really good find, Max1. Lots of detail, including the SFP.
I'm struck by the huge amount of rubble everywhere, after some 14 months.
I notice a piece of heavy equipment, Nabekai brand, that I don't think I've seen mentioned previously. I wonder if it is one of the big objects we've seen being lifted into the building by the big cranes over the last week or so.

Well at Tepco cam, I can see steam from 1&2 on fullscrean. Of course I'm wondering about the purple and now yellow dots that wave around and disappear.
