The previous Fukushima Webcam Discussion Thread can be found here: http://enenews.com/fukushima-webcam-discussion-thread
This thread is for discussing matters related to the webcam(s) at Fukushima Daiichi.
UPDATE (via Nuckelchen): “Please note the ‘jst’ time of your observation. Also, describe as best as possible, what you see. Using North, South, East, and West to describe locations. Be specific whenever possible. This may sometimes be the ONLY record we have of such events.”

Look at the white smoke coming out in front (from camera view) of unit#3. Looks like the same as the mysterious fog/smoke we have been seeing for the past few weeks.

You see rhe smoke coming, from …behind again "1,2&3 have melt down and thru, we know that much so it could be coming from them all. Does it matter when info is close to nought?
Right now it's total blue gray on tepcam 04:31 JST and JNN is still down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=t4NiKo8wxro
Tweeting might be a way to #RememberDaiichi
I'm afraid for the potential big quake there.
01:43 Fuk. is faintly reappearing
Find the great courage for one more day,Daiichi workers, the courage to do your informed and qualified best on site and blow the whistle too if you can, please. Now unfortunately, it is reported that some of you are not that qualified. Please do learn and be careful.

Hi Majia I haven't noticed workers there other than operating the remote cranes picking debris out of R3, as in this latest timelapse posted:
Came over from east side to west. The TBScam was showing the usual error message yesterday (offline?) – is now back up again but just showing fluffy -looking layers, probably lethal. Timestamp 17.00 JST 17th June.

I think the massive radioactive fog over the complex for the past ten days is attributed to several factors:
1. The remote demolition push to get the structural debris cleared at Unit 3 is stirring up hot fuel fragments splattered on and amongst the wreckage.
2. The cool monsoon air is rolling in at nights and mornings and mixing with super heated radioactive releases coming from Units 1-3.
3. The control efforts to cool the splatter in Units 1-3 (the infamous "Feed" part of the Feed and Bleed water cooling and loss of water process) has lessened in an attempt to reduce the need for high level radioactive waste water storage.
4. The reduced cooling is producing tremendous emissions from burning fuel deposits in Units 1-3. Sometimes the burning produces smoke, but mostly it is just superheated invisible radiation rising from the ruins of Units 1-3 and mixing with cool tradewinds to become the colorful radioactive fog.
The Tepco and government radiation scientists have known for a long time that Units 1-3 are far to hot now and for centuries for any standard decommission cleanup. Human workers with current shielding protection will never scrape out melted fuel or break out the building walls at Units 1-3 in this millennia. It's just impossibly dangerous for humans to enter the buildings. They might develop a new generation of robot tools to accomplish this task, but at current funding levels it is never going to happen.

Or the coriums went crazy, really crazy this time. Hearh of Rose posted several links a few posts above. Pretty strong arguments on her side.I was impressed by her last link, because of the glowing shoreline.
I was checking what is available for me. The wind front comes from the continent:
http://www.accuweather.com/en/jp/national/satellite
Clouds and rain are in the forecasts, but fog that hangs over special buildings is not included. Still, it appears:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kadDNOVSdjs
The hypotheses are on the table. The true value is in our endevours to generate them, as far as we do not have enough information. Whatever the truth – these are bad days and people need to take extra measures for protection.

I've been watching the cams all day
What I don't understand is the TBS cam, which is darkly obscured, despite broad daylight on the Tepco cam.
The TBS cam isn't showing daylight gray; rather, it is depicting nighttime blackout
It doesn't make sense.
Anyone have a sense whether the Tepco day cam is authentic?

Looks terrible in the night videos. Massive localized fallout. Some particles hot enough to rise to the jetstream and then wafting to west coast North America in about 40-48 hours.
The local lower winds blows the rest on hapless Honshu:

Interesting how in the early cool hours of June 18, 2013 JST the massive overcast radioactive fog lifted halfway into the 3:00 AM hour on the Fuku1 Live one hour time lapses.
I think the air temperature rose into the 80s and changed the fog dynamics. The cam view still showed massive ripples of radioactive heat rising from the hot buildings.
Business as usual at Fukashambles…the business of death.
The nucleorats certainly won't be tracking the longterm health of the poor bastards working at Fukushima NPP… Because with the toxic stuff they are breathing in 90% will be death from tumors and heart disease in the next ten years. Walking dead.

The radioactive fog has lifted for the past few hours. Maybe enough rain fell into Unit 3 to quench the burning splatter. Either that or maybe as others suspected the corium was producing the fog all along and the Tepco Terminators pumped enough borax and nitrogen into the pond to slow down venting.

And they wonder WHERE the strontium-90 is coming from?! Those emissions have to be coming from something! Stronitum-90 is from nuclear reactions..what you want to bet its ongoing as shown by the 'fog.' Its now 1000 BQ/Liter in ground water taken from the Pacific side of the leaking reactor area.
Report Comment
I agree that the recent web-cam vidoes and screenshots of releases suggest strongly that spiking strontium and tritium are not simply coming from leaks in the decontamination system.
Criticalities are occurring and they seem to be getting worse:
