one more about condensation:
salted sea-side condensation-cores are…what happens with salt that was liquide with water?
it goes back to h2o so fast as it can.
its not a resident core like a core builded from a partikel of dust.
the rebuilding from salted gas into salt-cores happens not ten feet of the sea.
(then they would fall directly down into the water again)
when thinny aerosols are flushing out of the plant, they're allways material stuff.
in the here on earth normal temperatures.
of course can metall went into gas or liquide forms too, but not in -50°C to +50°C that we have here on earth.
there is an other condensation-cores building prozess known.
the way from gas into stuff.
like i prefer to say:
nucleation is like if you would make a fart and instead of a smell a fine dustcloud would hanging in the air.
its good that our asses frozes faster then our farts could nucleationed,
if someone would mean now, to bring us some funny stinky rain…
the point is,
pure nucleation cannot happen deep on ground,
it must be cold enough (+thin air etc).
so we know, not only gas is leaking, aerosols are coming with the hot air out of the plant.
"normaly" is inside a nuclear plant a dust-free zone.
reason:
fine dust can transport the nuke.
thats all reasons that speaks for leaking fuels in a shameless way.

Good to hear from you.
Potrblog recently detected an increase in background radiation after a rain.
They detected 37X background, which they've not seen for awhile.
They also report on someone in South Carolina who detected 1000X background.
That report is unsubstantiated by Potrblog gives it some credence because it was under the jet stream at the time.

I don't believe what I saw on the cam today was fog. I have an excellent screen shot that shows that steam was erupting from the area where the yellow glow was emanating from.
The screen shot shows adjacent areas totally clear.

Just looking at the "new spaghettii view" from Reactor 4 to the north to Reactor 1. Is it my eyes..or the building to the left..looks like the Common Storage area..had an explosion..with the opening towards the webcam. The front and sides look as if tented..but..those open spans -we have seen the same in Reactors 1-4 previous to "tenting" or destructo. AND some emissions coming up from the Common storage pool building thing..this is definately something new to me..or its old eyes?

I'm sorry guys, but the rainbow fish is clearly a lens flare from the very bright center light. Notice that they coincide perfectly? Light goes on, rainbow fish, light goes out, no rainbow fish. The nasty emission/smoke diffuse the light as it drifts around, thus changing the intensity of the rainbow. When it's really clear and the light is crisp, you can see a smaller lens flare pointing downward on the bottom of the light.
I really wish the TBScam would pull the zoom way back so we could see when the emissions are fog and when they're 'other'. The new position of Tepscam is pretty similar to the TBS view when it's zoomed in, just even more smogged.

In the past it is has not been too difficult to discriminate fog from emissions most of the time because people like Nuckehlchen, ChasAha, Fuku1live, and others have been posting the videos that show the emissions starting out from particular buildings.
Those who have captured these clips have helped us really understand the ongoing scope of this disaster.
I noticed in Arnie Gunderson's video with Helen Caldicott (linked here at Enenews) that no data about the status of unit 3 have been released;
Gunderson says it is the worst and doesn't want to talk about it.

Where are the workers? Probably in a bar watching the Olympics.
Fuchishima workforce shifts have been for nearly 17 months a 15 hour a week job. About 3 hours work a day for a handful of workers. The plant is a hellhole of radiation that has hotspots fatal to humans. Most workers max out their radiation levels in a few minutes in many areas. They can be walking dead quickly inside Units 1, 2, and 3.
Tepco has no intention of spending billions (much less trillions) of dollars with a million workers capping the multiplex. They are going to let it burn itself out forever.
Steps needed:
1. A massive steel dike built in the ocean in a huge semicircle enclosing off the island from leaks to the sea. Cost? Billions of dollars.
2. 4 concrete and steel domes over reactors 1-4. Cost? Billions of dollars.
3. Injection wells of borax and millions of tons of borax filling the 4 domes. Cost? Billions of dollars.
4. Relocation of every citizen within 100 miles of Daiichi. Cost? Billions of dollars.
Do you see why millions will die? No world money for butter…plenty for guns.

TBS/JNN Cam is the clearest I have seen it in a LONG time. The Tepco cam is working good too, lots of men on the roof of R4 (?) today. The cranes seem to be moving in unison when watching both cams at once.

The yellow lid did lift. Your observation is correct.
I have no clue as to why. It looked important though.
Special NOTE: As I watched the video I also noticed upward moving vapors. (gaseous?) They are 'almost' invisible at first, but it becomes very clear if you hit pause/play every couple of seconds. Try it, you'll see what I mean. It really MOVES UP!

Workers on the top of the containment vessel! OMG those poor poor workers. See the emissions just rolling up and around. No way they are not getting a dangerous dose of RADIATION. One blogger here mentioned a worker falling, and then did not see him get up or move/exit. With the emissions, the danger to the workers is immediate. Those workers were in harms way for at least 30 minutes, if not more. Did not see workers cycling in and out. Wonder if we will ever learn their names…TEPCO (or the Japanese government now) is going to run out of LIVING workers if they keep this up. No money pays for this kind of TERRIBLE death.

Cranes look like they are taking radiation readings from several areas. You see a crane with a small black box, on the left side of Reactor 3, then other cranes move in and out with other small black boxes. Have seen this before, and our belief is the cranes were to monitor REALLY monitor the radiation levels. Of course, no one will really ever know what was registered, least of all the workers…..Just Saying…

At approx. 9:45 Tepco Cam Time 2012-08-10 Saw a bright reflection or flash (large sparkle) over the SPF4 area under the right arm of the horizontal green crane.
A person near the flash moved away. While another came from the right and looked toward the area of the flash, peering around some obstacles near the yellow dome. Then, he turned and walked toward the dome but it looked like he fell. I did not see him get up or exit.
Still no people working on deck. At 10 am in the morning. That's weird?

Hope someone there can tweet the worker who fell/disappeared in the video is OKAY. One has to wonder how many workers have "fallen" and disappeared. Wonder if the work application form asks for family members; none is probably preferred. Especially as the dosimeters are not used correctly, by direction of the labor overseers. No family to inform, no reason to count the loss of an employee….

at 1:27 in the yellow containment dome is lifted off the upper floor of Unit 4 by the huge crane and placed quickly down on the ground in front of Unit 3.
Then at 2:37 a hot debris piece is swiftly pulled out of the open vessel at Unit 4 by the same crane and swung down into the area where the yellow dome was laid.

How can workers be working there?
Earlier today I made a sequence of screen shots that clearly shows greenish-blue radiation in the area by the largest crane
(close to where the yellow top was placed).
I took shots at 3 different times during the day. In the last sequence the radiation had disappeared entirely so it could not be paint or some sort of material.
I cannot recall the name of that blue radiation. I think it starts with a C.
So, how can workers be doing that?
Also, isn't the yellow top part of the reactor pressure vessel?
If so, I thought there was no fuel in the unit 4 reactor pressure vessel?
Am I confused?

SP: That's the official line and since they just popped it off and left it off then that's probably good news. Units 1-3 are much worse in the scheme of long term cleanup. Very hot and the integrity of their dome covers is poor to terrible. Worse underneath with corium and condensed particles smeared everywhere. Multiple disasters and Unit 4 is about the only one they have a chance of working on debris removal for years to come. They won't do a lot of good for decades if the assemblies are fused from heat.
Whatever explosion or nuclear events occurred at unit 4 probably did not crack that containment vessel. So it probably was empty on March 11, 2011.

The yellow RPV top was already off the reactor vessel and sitting in its holding spot off on the side when the EQ hit.
Clearing off debris like this is necessary so that TEPCO can construct a new top of R$ so as to begin emptying SFP. And yes, that debris is HOT, thus the crane. My biggest question is, "Where are they gonna put this stuff?
