Wotcha …your first link tbs/jnn cam..scary or wot!. How terrible the thought of the poor workers who are having to work in that hell hole from hell…(sigh) The black smoke at first appears to be coming from the left maybe R5/6..In ChasAha,s link on previous page and earlier at 09:35 black smoke also seems to me to be coming not from R1 but farther away and nearer to 5/6..

First impression. I think it 'may' be fog banks rolling. Very odd looking though.
HOWEVER, at 1:29 on the recording there is a small black plume that appears as you look at the wall of Reactor #2. It blows to the south at about 1:36.

Checked the fuku1long Tepco cam view for approximately the same time frame.
I was unable to spot any smoke, but the rainbow colors at 'the gap' located between R1 and the west most tower/smoke stack look pretty scary.

That does look like the common shared fuel pool, but it's worth noting it's below zero at nights in Fukushima now. Any steam releases would freeze into "snow". Towards end of the video there's also some bursts coming from the direction of the sea, which seems to slightly support the hypothesis of water sprays freezing and snow blowing around. I do not believe they should be letting that much steam either.
Also, TEPCO update on common shared pool cable fire from last month: "As a result of investigation performed later on, the direct cause of the fire was identified to be the temporary cable of 200V distribution board for temporary lighting being connected to 100V cleaning equipment. As a countermeasure, we have reminded workers including the parties involved to get approval from a TEPCO supervisor to use the power supply and check the working voltage before use."

Fuel rod removal from #3? Just now?
Looks like a magnet just picked a fuel rod from #3 pool. At least from what I could see was a long skinny pipe like object hanging from the apparatus at the end of the crane cable.

Not a magnet. If fuel rods contain any magnetic alloys, the internal heat would likely delete any magnetic field.

Ok. All I know is that what I could see was a large item from which dangled a pipe object. Could have been a hook that attached to the assembly hoop which pics of the assemblies showed.
It is taking an hour from then until now for the ground crews to capture what was lowered. Now waiting for it to rise up again and see just what is missing from the crane's cable.

Unit 3 has some smoke coming out of the crumbled up area bottom right side directly behind the white colored area of the crane they just moved over to block the smoke from the camera to disguise it a bit.

I can only go by what I have seen on screen and something occured I believe at R5-6 and at R3…A red flash occured at 03.59 between R1 and tower and from R3 as shown in my first screen shot link above…followed by black smoke much of which seemed to be coming from R5-6 direction and from R3…then just follow the rest. watch hrs. from 3:00-6:00 and let me know your opinion TM

Time stamp is 09:49. And please do not say these are "just snowflakes." I believe the light flashes are caused by flakes striking electrically charged metal.

These are just snowflakes. Charged Particles. Nuke powered? You can see them against the buildings on the lower right. So it makes me think that if the buildings are concrete, these flashes are in the air all around. They are just more visible against the dark background.
Remember seeing these last year. During cold snowy weather

I checked fuku1long (2x) and I did see a bird at around that time frame, but it did not appear to vaporize.
Starting at 9:52:26 jst the bird flies into frame, circles, then flies away.

No tsunami warning was issued for Japan, but all Tsunami Warnings, Advisories and Watches from the 8.0 at Sants Cruz/Solomon Islands have been canceled a while ago.
As is being tracke on the main page/news article on this site, the aftershocks are many and still continuing though.
The Tōhoku earthquake in Japan was 9.0 magnitude megathrust quake, this recent one really has got nothing on it, though it'll have been extremely devastating to the nearby islands.

To see sparkles go full screen. Right click on picture >> Left click on Zoom >> Left click on Full screen. Right now there is water on the camera lens and fog/smoke but at times when it clears up it all looks like a Christmas tree.

Lousy webcam is nearly obliterated with water on lens. What kind of idiots would place a webcam without a cover which keeps rain off the lens?
Or is it that since Fuku is sparkling like a Christmas tree, they are intentionally making it so that we can't see?

If I'm not mistaken, there has been only one mag 8 quake so far. However there have been three of more than mag 6. Tsunami warnings were only for the local area around the Solomons, 1 meter wave reported. However, things may get worse. http://sincedutch.wordpress.com/

Look at Fukushima Nuclear Plant in Google Earth. You can see all the FAUX buildings we see on the web cam..what a farce. One thing, use Lat Long as the name is not searchable in google earth.

Not sure what you mean by "FAUX". The big problem though is for some reason there seems to be no recent air or satellite pictures of the area. The Google Maps copyrights say 2013, yet you can plainly see the images are from right after accident, you can even see steam. I've figured TEPCO may be paying to keep images of the radioactive waste containers off public so the enormity of the situation doesn't sink on people.

So they say they're gonna put some kind of protection over #3. They sure can't seem to be able to remove much of the entangled mess there. We just won't see the blinking lights anymore in its midst.

On closer observation is was the end of a smaller crane's arm being obscured either by emissions or camera anomalies.
It did have an electrified look for several minutes.

Okay, I did see something.
Here's what I saw.
The Smaller black crane has an extension arm sticking off of the end of it. Can be seen as the crane moves into position.
Pink clouds start and sparking begins to occur. Some odd black spots too. Maybe something attached to the extension arm. (?)
At first I though 'maybe' they were shooting or spraying something out it.
Then at about 11:29 jst the crane lifts a white bell shaped bucket.

Very strange. Resembles a high voltage plasma discharge in appearance. As the black crane nears R2 the extension grows a halo and then disappears. I could only guess what's going on.

'Sparking' & 'Pink CLloud'
Yes. There is some phenomenon occurring.

The 'SPARKING' gets intense and obvious at several points. When I witnessed this live at normal speed it was even more dramatic looking. Note: You can't really see the event at all on the 20x recording.
Why the PINK CLOUD magically appears is odd. I also see some very translucent but still eerily visible greenish blue cloud puffs rise quickly. (when viewing full screen)

The rod-racks are from the front of the CSFP… and they not complete rack units anymore… rather burnt looking too! And, like the rods… they get moved out to the water-frontage area for disposal! The corium… well, it seems they figured-out how to use some liquid nitrogen and pushed the stuff rolled-up in dirt into a container of it to freeze it to a lifting hook! Then lift it back up into the repaired core of the #4 reactor. OH!?… didn't you notice them moving the red crane and platform out of the way so they could do this?

Enjoy the watching Unit 3's circus act while you can. Soon the cover will be in place, hiding the explosion results from view.
Tomorrow, Friday, TEPCO attempts to remove more beams and the refueling platform/crane laying in 3's spent fuel pool Any other time it would be a pristine pool of water not to be disturbed much but clearing this debris will cause other debris fall on what is left of the racks with little concern for the consequences.

However, the beta charts I ran before (last year) showed levels over 1000 cpm in southern Ca valley cities and Yuma

I see the white spot. Looks like a reflection from a smaller crane arm.
I have seen the cranes busy even over the weekend.
The multicolored blue-green-purplish colors in the gap between R1 and the west most tower don't look good.

Do you think that because the plume trails off after California and then is much more intense around New England that perhaps the west coast is being caused by Fuku and the east coast may have a problem at Pilgrim…after all there have been problems there before and after the storm…..maybe it got hit with a bug.

out my way.. bit of both… they been using Chem trails in conjunct with HAARP to keep the rads off DC.. so they sent them up into New England… it was also just pre-green tax-bill time… so…
They can induce a reduction with HAARP of what's in the clouds… but it causes a rather loud bang/flash like an over-sized bolt of lightning. Often causes quakes when they do so.

they do a split of the weather-front of the coast of Sea-WA. The upper stuff goes into Northern US… Iowa, Ohio, Mich… and Canada areas.

The lower the weather front is in the states.. the warmer the air.. so, the less directional control they have over it.. they TRY to keep it off Atlanta GA… but not doing a very good job of it! If the CDC folks knew how badly they getting hit.. they may revolt against their masters!
