Streaming emissions out of the vent stacks are pretty impressive today. Tilt your screen back and look UP at the screen..clear image of emissions going from the top of the stacks up into the clouds..ionized particles heading WEST towards the USA.
Just look at the radiation heading for USA. HELLO OUT THERE United States EPA — is anyone watching out for the Western, Middle,NE USA? Isn't that the EPA's job? Environmental Protection Agency??? Or is it "Easy Pay Agency", where the pay is in government payroll?

@majia, sorry I missed your post. July 11th it was TEPCO cam. Today, or July 13-14–its JNN/TBS webcam with the yellow explosive emissions. "explosive" emissions..cause we cant tell exactly what is causing all the smoke/steam from all reactors–but Reactor 3 seems to be the most and have the "yellow flash." Your call as to "explosive", "fission," or TEPCO WHOOPS with a fuel rod test. My bet..ALL THREE..

Indeed wideawake, good catch! it's really a startling appearance at 02:16. This white thing seems to appear out of the blue.
Not any trace of it on the right of #4. Could it be a submarine?
As for TBS/JNN live, nothing either. Doesn't sound good.

@wideawake Thanks for replying. It's odd, isn't it? Tepco has said that the R4 debris removal has just finished and FD has posted they are going to try and remove a couple of fuel rods …………….

Tepco is attempting to remove 2 assemblies from reactor4 around in July for a test.
Quote: The assemblies are new ones, which are not fissioning to heat supposedly. They plan to check the damage to the fuel assemblies and how to stock.
Wotcha says: Maybe the yellow dome structure near R4 has something to do with all this?

The yellow dome is the reactor vessel dome as shown last year in this article:

It does look like they will have to proceed slowly considering the debris on and around it. The MOX fallout in that building makes wirking near it with humans just about a death sentence.

@SP. Ahh, thanks for that. Poor visibility and removal of all that upper floor debris has disorientated me. I was used to just seeing the top of the dome, lol.
Meanwhile, the 'worklight' looks rather different these days, generally much less bright but now activity of flashing light/fire in that area and also 'blowout' at 0.17in. Screen flash at 1.20in:

I've been reading your comments for quite some time now. This is my first post. I really appreciate those of you who have been making regular posts and commentary on this dreadful situation. Please keep up the good work. I am sure there are many others like me who read your comments but never post. Clearly there needs to be a massive intervention in this situation. Perhaps there would be 40,000,000 Japanese citizens who would all be willing to each send just a small soil sample for testing to President Obama direct to his office in the White House. That would be an effective way to get his attention… don't you think?

Fukushima Daiichi, a different view. Seeing through the fog.
A compilation video of the last several weeks worth of Screen Shots. Some are from the Ranch Hope Cam #2 (10 miles from Fuku on zoom) and some are from the TEPCO CAM.
As you watch the video you'll see the 'Original Photo' followed by the 'Enhanced' effect photo.(some with additional zoom) It is sort of like seeing through the fog.
I thought the purple lightning shots from nuckelchen's video were very cool too.

Also, would you please have a look at the article here on Arnie Gundersen's statements re: spent fuel pool #3? Are you able to say when it was first clear the #3 SFP was burning or steaming?

Hi Nuckie. Were you able to read the comments on the steam and smoke coming out of #3 and #4 SPF, posted under the article quoting Arnie Gundersen? (Report on status of #3 SPF)
My little Schputzie looks almost exactly like the picture in the link. So beautiful. Lighter eyes, a red nose, and light whiskers. Maybe a fawn colored parent? Not "breed standard" coloring, but a lovely girl just the same.

Flashing in the area of the 'worklight' – it looks kinda sparky to me. It sort of looks like electricity in the open but surely someone will correct me on this? I am after all only a 'wotcha', lol and no sort expert in these matters.I just felt inclined to comment.

I did show this to several people and it really did seem to get their attention. Pictures do speak loudly sometimes.
Most of the screen shots have the time date stamp like on the TEPCO Cam. The Ustream Hope Cam #2 ones were taken over the last 2 weeks and were in chronological order. I do have the specific time of each screen shot logged within these Web Cam pages. I did consider adding those. If I do another video I will include them.

So that "event was at about 7:15 am on 7/13/2012 Fuku time…
By the tidetables, that puts it 2 hours past low tide.
If a corium is at sea level or at tide level, could it mean that the said corium makes a steam event after it is exposed at low tide and the tide starts coming back in?

@elibi Lots smoke, lifting. And look over at Daiini — under the horizontal line middle of screen on right side. DARK looking objects? Daiini (Fuku 2) has what looks like cranes..and the smoke/emissions over the site are obvious. But its similar to what is over Reactor 4– dangerous for everyone. So much going on, no way to stop the fission processes I think.

Glad to see TBS/JNN back and it's better now at 00:05 JST but this close-up on #4 makes me wonder. Look where SFP #4 is in the blueprint below. So the top of the pool is away on TBS/JNN and the spent fuel is close to the floor level?

But if you mean the colour change at about 1.40in, then I think that's the cam filter change for nightime. That would account for nothing coming up on the tepsham view. If this is not what you mean, can you please say at what time in the clip and I'll have another squint through the gloom, lol.
However I don't think they would be doing testing of fuel removal at night. Well they shouldn't be, but I suppose ya never know with Tepco <rolls eyes>.

You all know, Japan seems to have a culture of control via video or press releases. This may work for some emergencies..BUT for this one..the webcams are just showing the BEST of the situation–we should be scared as "H…". And the physical damages as they start showing in the children..Thyroid first..then and/or leukemia..then other cancers..DNA/genetic damage — can't hide that for long in the internet era. Or should not be able to unless the internet is controlled. ?? Hum..have to think on that. THANK YOU ENENEWS for being an open forum for webcam video, and more.
