The director of US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has resigned because of financial conflicts of interest, government officials announced on Wednesday. ..Fitzgerald’s resignation followed a news report on Tuesday that her financial manager bought tobacco and drug stocks after she took the job in July, while selling other stocks that posed a conflict of interest. "

    • razzz razzz

While it may look bad, why should the government tell anyone what to invest in even whether to smoke or not while there is no regulatory power when head of the CDC so no conflict of interest if you own tobacco stocks. More like an actuary committee.

        the CDC pushes vaccines. Some kinky folks in there too;
An official from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was arrested for allegedly molesting a child and bestiality, according to police in DeKalb County, Ga.

Kimberly Lindsey, 44, a deputy director at CDC, is charged with child molestation and bestiality for two incidences involving a 6-year-old child. Lindsey's live-in boyfriend, Thomas Westerman, 42, is also being charged with child molestation.

…the truth about this one to me (my opinion) is that we are headed back to the polio era if we don't straighten up…

And jabbing newborns with a needle? Shamefull…

Why not just get the stem cells from the cord and placenta and leave the needles in the locker!!! More time for stem cells, less time jabbing a newborn with a needle.

But don't take my word for it, let's ask a real professional…

'As F.B.I. Took a Year to Pursue the Nassar Case, Dozens Say They Were Molested'

For more than a year, an F.B.I. inquiry into allegations that Lawrence G. Nassar, a respected sports doctor, had molested three elite teenage gymnasts followed a plodding pace as it moved back and forth among agents in three cities. The accumulating information included instructional videos of the doctor’s unusual treatment methods, showing his ungloved hands working about the private areas of girls lying facedown on tables.

But as the inquiry moved with little evident urgency, a cost was being paid. The New York Times has identified at least 40 girls and women who say that Dr. Nassar molested them between July 2015, when he first fell under F.B.I. scrutiny, and September 2016, when he was exposed by an Indianapolis Star investigation. Some are among the youngest of the now-convicted predator’s many accusers — 265, and counting.

The three alleged victims then at the center of the F.B.I.’s inquiry were world-class athletes; two were Olympic gold medalists. Nearly a year passed before agents interviewed two of the young women."…"

Ramsey Orta, Imprisoned for Filming Eric Garner’s Murder, Placed in SHU for 60 Days

Ramsey Orta, the man who filmed the brutal murder of Eric Garner, has been placed in the SHU (Secruity Housing Units, essentially prisons within prisons) for 60 days, the latest in a pattern of targeted harassment and abuse. Orta is currently serving a disgusting four year prison sentence after he was targeted by the NYPD for filming the death of Garner at the hands of the NYPD back in 2014, sparking riots, protests, and uprisings across the US. Garner himself was harassed over selling loose cigarettes, a murderous example of broken windows policing.

The system is so corrupt in New York that media, judges, cops and prosecutors can never do any wrong. Jailing someone for using their camera proves it.

Martin Armstrong holds the record so far (I think) for being held in contempt of court (New York Federal judge presiding), 7 years. Here's an overview, one of many that can be found besides his own accounts.

Armstrong had/has all the money anyone would ever need and still couldn't get a trial date or a contempt hearing. Plus, many people around the world with money, offered to pay any fines, bail, judgements or court costs to get him out of jail, didn't happen and he stayed in prison for contempt.

      • razzz razzz

Here Armstrong talks a bit about his contempt of court experience.

        'The Revenge of Martin Armstrong'

"…Marcus Vettor, the German filmmaker, they would never allow him to visit me. Even the New Yorker Magazine had to threaten Washington to write on them why the press could interview terrorists but not me. Only with threats were they granted access. When I got out, Marcus wanted to come over and just follow me around with cameras. I thought that was nuts. I asked him what was he going to film? Me brushing my teeth? So I thought I would put together a small seminar. An old employee of mine told me that I would be lucky if 25 people showed up. Nobody got big audiences anymore I was told. I thought that would be good enough for Marcus to film. To my surprise, we filled the ballroom of the Westin in Philadelphia with over 300+ people and turned away more than 300 people. I was totally surprised. When I asked people why did they fly into Philadelphia from the four corners of the world, they said the same thing. They just wanted to make sure it was really me and not someone the government put up to pretend it was me. That illustrated how people distrust government, mainstream press, and the evil powers that occupy New York like the dead spirit in some horror movie…"

He was allowed to type and write from prison to the outside world and his writings were the basics of his computer program and world market trading opportunities. He finally allowed to cop some plea for release before his contempt case was to go before the supreme court.

Early on an inmate was allowed to go in and smash a typewriter on his head which put him in a coma for a couple days sans proper medical attention. He talks about muslim drawings on cell walls showing planes crashing into high rise buildings which was before 9/11 where the FBI came and investigated the drawings on the cell walls and removed them.

So Armstrong certainly knows all about the New York court system if he wanted to learn it or not.

Think Page (principle target in the fraud dossier which entrapped anyone remotely associated with Page) is adjusting his lawsuit against the government to align with the recent memo release and General Flynn's sentencing hearing has been delayed probably due to the same memo about fraud. Any ruling or judgment that the court has issued will be void. The case will usually need to be retried with different court officials, often in an entirely different venue.

For the official who acted in fraud upon the court, they may very well be required to step down from their position and may even be subjected to criminal consequences like a fine or a jail sentence. It could also result in other serious consequences, such as an attorney being disbarred, or a judge being removed from service…"

In a Major Free Speech Victory, a Federal Court Strikes Down a Law that Punishes Supporters of Israel Boycott

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that a Kansas law designed to punish people who boycott Israel is an unconstitutional denial of free speech. The ruling is a significant victory for free speech rights because the global campaign to criminalize, or otherwise legally outlaw, the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement has been spreading rapidly in numerous political and academic centers in the U.S. This judicial decision definitively declares those efforts — when they manifest in the U.S. — to be a direct infringement of basic First Amendment rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

The enjoined law, enacted last year by the Kansas legislature, requires all state contractors — as a prerequisite to receiving any paid work from the state — “to certify that they are not engaged in a boycott of Israel.” The month before the law was implemented, Esther Koontz, a Mennonite who works as a curriculum teacher for the Kansas public school system, decided that she would boycott goods made in Israel, motivated in part by a film she had seen detailing the abuse of Palestinians by the occupying Israeli government, and in part by a resolution enacted by the national Mennonite Church. The resolution acknowledged “the cry for justice of Palestinians, especially those living under oppressive military occupation for fifty years”; vowed to “oppose military occupation and seek…

America's public lands belong to all of us. We owe it to ourselves to save them
We Americans can do better in the fight to protect our threatened heritage, writes Theodore Roosevelt IV, a descendant of the ‘conservation president’

"A truly noble idea – one deeply democratic in its inspiration and one that honors the human need to be in relationship to awe and majesty.

    America’s public lands.

This idea was seeded by early American settlers, who came here to escape a class system in Europe that excluded them from land – owning it, hunting on it, surviving on it. Conservation was articulated as a national endeavor by hunters and foresters with the unique discernment that our game and timber resources were not boundless, and required professional management to remain bountiful.

This was a hard-won national ethos. From the pitch battles for their existence, our public lands were imbued with moral standing and national sanction: the idea that they “belong” to all of us."

'Instead of Filling Cavities, Dentists May Soon Regenerate Teeth'

"…To test this idea, Sharpe and his fellow researchers drilled holes into the molars of mice, mimicking cavities. They then soaked tiny collagen sponges (which are made from the same protein found in dentin) in various drugs known to stimulate Wnt signaling, including tideglusib, a compound that has been investigated in clinical trials for its potential to treat Alzheimer's and other neurological disorders. The scientists then placed these drug-soaked sponges in the drilled mouse molars, sealed them up and left them for four to six weeks. The teeth treated with these drugs produced significantly more dentin than ones untreated or stuffed with an unsoaked sponge or typical dental fillers. In most cases the technique restored the rodents’ pearly whites to their former intact state. “It was essentially a complete repair,” Sharpe says. “You can barely see the joint where the old and new dentin meet. This could eventually be the first routine pharmaceutical treatment in dentistry.”…"

In a written statement released around the same time the memo was declassified, the Arizona Republican characterized the memo and its release as 'partisan attacks' on the FBI and the Department of Justice.

  • Martin Armstrong: Ex-Adviser Out of Jail After 11 Years, Including 7 for Contempt

    March 15, 2011
“Martin A. Armstrong, who prosecutors accused of running a $3 billion Ponzi scheme, is finally out of jail after 11 years, including a possible record seven years for contempt of court in a dispute over gold and antiquities.

“Mr. Armstrong, a former financial adviser who once ran an investment firm called Princeton Economics International, will be held under house arrest until his federal custody ends in September, a spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Chris Burke, told Bloomberg News.
“Mr. Burke said Mr. Armstrong would be allowed to go to work and required to check in at a halfway house in the Philadelphia area. He was released last week, according to Bloomberg.

“Mr. Armstrong spent seven years behind bars for contempt after he defied a federal judge’s order in January 2000 to turn over to the government about $15 million worth of gold bars, rare coins and antiquities including a bust of Julius Caesar. Normally, people held in contempt by a judge are jailed for no longer than 18 months.

“Mr. Armstrong contended he did not have those assets.

“As Mr. Armstrong sat in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, federal prosecutors tried to build a criminal case against him.

Next week a significant war drill will be conducted across Israel by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) together with the American military, as part of the biennial Juniper Cobra military exercise, which this year will imitate a simultaneous missile attack on Israel from both its northern and southern fronts.

Tweet by BILL KRISTOL…13 minutes BEFORE GOP train/truck crash.

"Once we're sure everyone involved is OK, assuming they are, I hereby give my permission to Twitter to indulge in all manner of GOP train wreck jokes. I do think by having the train hit (reread that…"by HAVING the train hit") …yes, a garbage truck, the Scriptwriters (not too subtle there…lol) of "2018" jumped the shark."
    1/31/18 11:07 a.m.
A Screen capture by Joe Concha was published after the Tweet had been subsequently removed.

Who is Joe Concha? Joe Concha is The Hill’s new media reporter. Concha, who will continue to be based out of New Jersey, comes to The Hill from Mediaite, where he has been a columnist covering media, politics and television. He was previously a producer and writer at Fox News Channel.

Who is Bill Kristol? He co-authored Project for the New American Century, the famous PNAC road map to the NWO. He lives in New York, in the Eastern Standard Time zone, same zone as the West VA location of the GOP crash.

Attempting to explain the timing of Kristol's Tweet 13 minutes BEFORE the crash occurred by postulating that Kristol was visiting the Central time zone, and so the Tweet would have been 47 minutes after the crash doesn't explain it either. News coverage confirmed ONE FATALITY and a helicopter transport of at least 2 others injured …by approximately 11:45 a.m. EST, or 10:45 a.m. CST.

  • irhologram

If his Tweet were actually at 11:07 a.m. CST, Kristol's wording "Once we're sure everyone involved is OK, assuming they are…" is a nonsequitor. He already knew one person died, one was critical, and dozens were being treated for concussions, etc.

CONCLUSIONS: Bill Kristol, given his instrumental role in formulating U.S. policy through PNAC, is a "deep state" insider. He may be privy to …or a possible conspirator in …false flag events, considering this smoking…'er…train, and the fore-knowledge of derailment of a GOP retreat-bound train carrying 250+ GOP members of Congress and their families.

What was the motive, then, if "Once we're sure everyone involved is OK, assuming they are…" …in other words, Kristol was onboard with jokes about a GOP/garbage correlation, but not injuries. The garbage truck was in the middle of two lowered rail gates. If the driver was throttling through the first gate to beat the train, he couldn't/wouldn't have stopped on a dime to avoid splintering the lowered RR gate in front of him to box him in. Logic says, rather than die, he'd use his BIG truck to tear through the flimsy gate.

  • irhologram

Congressmen on the train who are doctors said they tried to save the dead truck passenger after they pried open the train doors, which had been intentionally closed to keep train passengers contained, so…a delay. Any tampering during that time seems unlikely, because there were accounts of docs' heroic life-saving attemps. I did hear FL Rep./Dr. Neal Dunn In his own words. But other docs' statements were made for them. Although scene tampering seems unlikely, remember, this event appears to be preplanned, and some on the train may have played a role.
"Florida Rep. Neal Dunn, a former Army surgeon, said he and other lawmakers who are doctors joined other passengers who are nurses or paramedics and jumped out with the basic medical gear they had. They broke into three teams to help the injured people in the truck, he said.
"The first gentleman was somebody who had really, really, really devastating injuries. We did try to resuscitate, but ultimately you had to realize it wasn't possible," Dunn said. He said another man in the truck was critically injured and a third was seriously hurt."

Bottom line: I don't believe train passengers were involved in collusion.

  • irhologram

The widest held theory on the web as to involvement of the truck driver/passengers is they may have been patsies. Questions I hope research will answer: Why didn't the garbage truck company know of the accident hours later? Why wasn't the road closed as one of the Congressional wives said it was to have been, to insure safe passage of such a large government contingency? But the greatest question is: Why was this crossing malfunctioning when it was known to be "out of order" for a full day and was positioned along a road supposedly to be closed previous to an official Congressional transport?

"Crozet, Va. • The safety arms at a railroad crossing where a train carrying Republican lawmakers slammed into a garbage truck appeared to be malfunctioning the day before the deadly crash, drivers who regularly cross over the tracks at the crash scene said Thursday.
Gene Locke, who lives near the tracks in Crozet, said he pulled up to the crossing between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and saw that the safety arms were down and the signal light was flashing, but no train was approaching from either direction. After waiting a minute or so, he backed up, turned around and took a different route, assuming there was either a malfunction of the signal crossing or workers were testing it.
“I did not report this, as it was the first time this has happened in my observation since I have been using that crossing for several years,” Locke told The Associated Press.

Jane Rogers, who lives about 2 miles from the crash site, said that when she arrived at the crossing Tuesday, the gate was down, even though there were no trains approaching. She said after waiting, one car in front of her and two cars behind her turned around. Then, as she started to turn around, the gate went up. One car then crossed the tracks, but Rogers said she waited another 30 seconds and the gate went down again. No trains passed, she said.

It was a weird up-and-down thing,” she said. “Then the next day, the accident happened at that intersection.”
Pete Kotowski, the lead investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board, said it was too early to say whether the arms were working at the time of the accident, which killed an employee of the trash company and injured six others."

Do I believe this GOP train/trash truck was a false flag? Yes. Its very hard to ignore the Bill Kristol Tweet.
It appears that the purpose of this "accident" was to intimidate GOP lawmakers, and possibly to shake their resolve, in order to prevent release of "The Memo."

Sabotage, kill-train of HALF of Congress is a declaration of Civil War IN OUR FACES. Think. If a Russian politician tweeted RE: a derailment transporting ONE HALF of our elected leaders THIRTEEN MINUTES BEFORE the fatal wreck occurred…is that a better or worse act of war than if done by a "deep state" operative? Is government by threat of death better or worse if committed by Russians than proof of domestic terrorism by high ranking sabotors?

      The Tweet is verified.

wow, irh, yes, the train derailment/accident is deeply disturbing.

Was the wreck announced in advance? (Guess I missed something.)

        Who did the Tweet?

The train was said to be protected by surveilling helicopters and it STILL had a wreck. Had the helicopters not been watching over the train's progress, the engineer/conductor may not have had time to slow the train down before it hit the garbage truck.

Guess the Clintons and Co. aren't satisifed by taking a few people at at time out like Vince Foster. Now they're going for big targets. Why settle for killing one guy at a time when you can take out half the Senate or House of Representatives?

Am in agreement, the level of corruption is just getting brazen. They're not just limiting themselves to the countries where they can deep six the economy, welfare of the people anymore. Now they are moving on the American people themselves. They got plenty of practice in places like Nigeria and Haiti, now they're bringing their dirty games home to roost. These people are rotten to the core. Whomever is with/behind the Clintons has been playing their dirty games for decades.

Maybe they're trying to go out with a bang before TSHTF?

The lying is disgusting. Have hated these people and have wanted to see them go to prison for decades.

Who do you suppose was stuffing all the opium into the dead bodies of the deceased GI's, being flown into the airport at Mina, Arkansas? They're in it up to their eyeballs too.

Ho and Jebus… As to press reports of the train having slowed down, a Conressman interviewed on his cell phone 10 minutes after the crash said it had NOT slowed down, and Amtrack says the train was traveling 61 mph, or 1 mph over the speed limit.

RE: the crash yesterday, I would not put it past these ghouls to orchestrate the SC crash to cause the confusion and cognitive doubt you have just expressed.

Broadcasting (tweeting) news of the train crash 13 minutes in advance by the author of PNAC seems to me to be as damning or even more damning than television coverage on 9/11 announcing the collapse of Building 7 twenty minutes before went into free fall. In this case, we have an operative, himself, announcing the Congressional "hit" 13 minutes before it went down.

It could be that the "script," was to be enacted as the media reports it, yet eye witnesses passengers refute… Maybe events were to be that the train would slow down. But the train was going 61 mph, and so it had NOT slowed down, but was going 1 mph over the limit. Maybe it showed up at the crossing early… Causing the tweet to jump the (smoking) gun…And maybe the folks in the trash truck were taken by surprise, if involved.

Those are suppositions. But Bill Kristol knowing in advance that an official Congressional train was going to derail …IS FACT.

          • Jebus Jebus

Everybody knows a garbage truck, loaded or not, even with five? four? texting? workers or so crammed into the cab, at a faulty crossing, is going to be rejected at the place where they, and a train doing sixty, try to occupy the same space.

I have 5 computers running in my network. Any timestamp from one is arbitrary compared to the rest. Scheduled NIST updates or not.

If someone was going to create a false flag of murderous proportions, on half of the GOP, they failed miserably in the follow through.

Once again our government at work.

            Shoulda used another train…

            • irhologram

Jebus? The tweet was by PNAC author/TV commentator Bill Kristol. There were 3 people in the trash truck. Kristo wasn't one of them.

Please read subject matter before posting.

Nunes FBI memo: Yep, it's every bit as terrible as you imagined

The day Congress becomes a supermarket tabloid

If this memo resulted in an in-depth and much more honest appraisal of spying laws in the United States, and the seemingly low bar of proof required by the FISA Court, it might even be worth the damage caused to key institutions.

But there is next to no chance of that actually happening – because the very people who wrote this memo and pushed for it to be published are the exact same people who prevented debate of one of America's most controversial spying programs – Section 702 – and who prevented additional safeguards from being implemented.

Safeguards that would have limited the potential for abuse that this memo purports to demonstrate and is so upset about. The hypocrisy is gut wrenching.

Just to be clear though, this memo does not demonstrate any political bias on the part of the FBI or the DoJ, despite its best efforts. The g-men did their job using the powers that Congress gave them.

And if some intelligence officials didn't want Trump elected president, this whole episode has unfortunately demonstrated why: as president, Donald Trump was in a position to prevent the release of this appalling memo and he chose not to.

He put his own personal goals ahead of the country's. And frankly no patriot wants to see that in their president.

        • irhologram

Um, no, Jebus. The FBI was required to disclose evidentuary bias. Pretty big bias considering the DNC, through law firm Coey (sp) Perkins AND the FBI paid FIRED FBI anti-Trump zealot Steel $168,000 for a "dossier" that Steel, himself, says was altered and NOT entirely what he had even submitted. Lol And it was renewed FOUR TIMES!! Each renewal was required to supply proofs its usefullness or to supply new evidence to justify it. Part of the justification used was corroboration in news outlets, like Yahoo, although the FBI and Steel met with Yahoo, The New York Times and Washington Post to PLANT the story in the first place.

See? None of that is legal.

Take it up with the Register.

            Here's some more to critique…

FBI Special Agent in Charge Frank Montoya Jr. spent more than 25 years in the FBI, retiring in September 2016.

During his time in the FBI, he filled a variety of roles. He served as a special agent, senior chief, and unit chief for the Counterintelligence Division at FBI Headquarters; he was detailed to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence; and he was the special agent in charge for both the Hawaii and Seattle field offices.

Montoya knows former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and FBI Agent Peter Strzok. He doesn't just know them because he saw them at the office, though. He has worked with them, hand in hand, on tasks and missions applicable to the FBI's purpose. In addition, his experience with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act makes him a knowledgeable source on the issue.

  • Unfortunately there will never be a utopia on this earth because people make evil choices. Unfortunately people sometimes can make choices that are good and sometimes their only choice is to choose the lesser of two evils.

Ask why the US has to put up walls to keep people out of the US. Why do so many people want to immigrate to the US. Is it because their life is better in the country where they are now residing?

Trump was not the lesser of two evils. His billions all come from Russia because after all his 6 bankruptcies no one would lend him any money except for the Russians.

There is free speech in the US and Americans are self-critical to try to make America and the world a better place. Criticism should be to make improvements. Criticism should not be destroy the country and allow dictators to take over the country.

Criticism should be to bring about positive change, a healthier environment whether that be the physical environment or the mental environment.

Destroying all the regulations actually takes away all the modifications to capitalism. Democracy, freedom, and modified capitalism are slow and sticky, but still the best solution. There are no benevolent dictatorships. Dictators are always the worst psychopaths and bullies who will stop at nothing to keep from losing their wealth and power.

Didn't you learn anything from all these posts?, not just mine.

The old-school-hippie-Berkely-utopia-bullshit routine is lost here.

And FYI..Trump was 53 years old and already a billionaire when his father died.

      • Snowden no longer has any freedom at all, no spiritual freedom, no freedom of speech, no travel freedom, no freedom to help other people. All I hear here is slavery to money and selfishness. I hear psychopathic manipulation to create slavery.

The world is already lost. Trump will create a nuclear war and no one will survive.

All I need to let my spirit live free and eternal is to read the Bible and follow its teachings.

Psychopaths dwell on the meme of calling Christians hypocrites because they don't understand empathy and the freedom that comes from caring for other people. Americans love freedom so much they are willing to give their lives that those they love may have freedom. Trump doesn't even begin to understand American values or Christian values. The love of money over the rights of other people is extremely corrupting and destructive of someone's spirit.

can't change anyone here and my audience is only for readers with hearts that long to be free and long to understand the motivations of corrupting influences on the internet.

    • HoTaters HoTaters

Don't people in the US have the right to choose whether or not others live here? Must we have this forced on us? Don't we have any voice in determining our own quality of life, or must the values of others always be forced on us?

Don't have anything against the immigrants, but the naturalized and US born citizens are not given any voice in whether or not we choose to have all these additional residents joining our society.

Quite frankly, our system isn't such that we can absorb all these people and assure them much quality of life, either.

But I suppose if you're coming from an economically underdeveloped state or a war zone, probably just about anywhere looks better than home.

I'm not in favor of free immigration. People should follow the legal path to citizenship, and they should attempt to assimilate and contribute to the system- not just mooch off the social benefits.

That being said, we have a small business. Many of our customers are immigrants, and many are undocumented immigrants. Most all of them work hard and raise their families with good moral values. They definitely contribute to society here.

Just want to see the people have some control over the process, and see the immigrants respect our laws and way of life.

Just because you run across the border or overstay your visa doesn't give you a "right" to be here.

      • HoTaters HoTaters

It's the assumption of many of these people they have the RIGHT to be here just because they got here that's irritating.

Someone often has to support them financially and socially until they are acculturated. Sadly that's usually on the backs of the taxpayers.

The people in favor of free immigration seem to forget the taxpayers shoulder the burden of all the undocumented immigrants' "entitlements" and social benefits.

Granted, many pay into the system. I hope they are given a more clear and easier (less costly!) path to citizenship. Would like to see the path to legal citizenship encouraged & see incentives for people to follow this path.

There need to be disincentives for gaming the system. There is a LOT of fraud and abuse. Used to work in an employment security office in the 1990's so I'm very clear many, many people are gaming the system with multiple social security accounts, fake ID's, drawing social benefits they shouldn't get. And the system for holding them accountable is badly broken. You wouldn't believe how much of that went on.

The cheaters are almost never caught. It's sickening and it's unfair to the people who act ethically and diplay good morals.

No DUDe, I lucked out in love. But you learn something in the craziness that passed for youth.

Subtlety? If something was subtle you would be whispering it off the forum directly to each other by now. No judgement, but is it quite right to let someone dangle like this?

What about the bearded guy? Isnt that an issue? Tell DUDe about the hairy man you thought was masculine but he turned out milquetoast. He just couldnt take charge. It all ended when you had that little affair with the young ranch hand. Sure it was uncomfortable but at least you had a taste of passion from a latino. Of course it couldnt last and hes married to Conchita now with three little ones. The bearded man, lets call him Frank…he was struggling…and there was the child that needed care. At least he could help out around the place. He had grown portly and the romance was long gone.

Those days of steamy fecundity are gone, but theres a sliver of hope that a true masculine man could sweep you off your feet and change your life. But realistically you know thats not going to happen. And the man thing always revolves around the sex, and its easier just to ignore the trouble. Besides youre older now too and the weight of looking beautiful for romance is a little heavy. So you take the small gratuity…an admirer on an impersonal forum.

You LET that happen with the excuse that its not your place to meddle. But inside youre a little embarrassed about it because you see his sincerity. Am I wrong?

OK, looks like that was taken wrong. Again, sorry.

You can't let the Board stuff get close to your heart. Maybe the staff, leaders, the parents, the kids. But privately.

That's about not allowing empathy to get in the way of doing the job. And not getting too embroiled in it.

So sorry, that comment looked passive aggressive to me, and you followed it up, which I didn't read. My bad.

There has to be personal separation and emotional separation when doing a job like that – or sometimes it can be emotionally crushing.

Was once a school board member in a district with tons of legal issues. The town was very divided and there was a lot of bad stuff going on, ill will on all sides.

Trying to do right by all those people was really challenging, especially in light of being a publicly elected official. Not sure if that's how it works where you are (elections for school board).

Where I was some of us were the target of all kinds of disparaging and ill-informed attacks by certain members of the public. It takes a thick skin to do the job sometimes.

Hopefully things are more harmonious in your district.

Handling all that conflict was more than I bargained for going into it.

Most people have no idea what goes on behind the scenes in all of this. When young lives and the future of young people is at stake, what is done in managing the school is really important.

So kudos to you if you do well by all those people. That's where I was coming from.

Many have been sounding the alarm about the orcas’ plight since the September death of a juvenile brought the population to 76. Orcas face threats from lack of food, pollution and noise from vessels.

A baby orca has not been born in the last few years. Half of the calves born during a celebrated baby boom have since died. Female orcas are also having pregnancy problems linked to nutritional stress brought on by a low supply of chinook salmon, the whales’ preferred food, a recent study found.

9 Dishes Chefs Eat When They're Sick

[ one of the recipes, looks yummy ]

    6. Pasta inbrodo

"When I have a cold or the flu, the only thing I crave is food that warms my body and soul," Salvatore Marcello, executive chef of MAMO Restaurant in New York, said. "For me, that is my grandmother's pasta in brodo. In my mind's eye, I can watch my grandmother preparing it for me when I was a child."

To replicate Nonna's recipe, set a small pot of water over medium-high heat, and add a stalk of celery, a carrot, three cherry tomatoes, a bay leaf, a clove and salt, and boil for 30 minutes. Add a handful of broken angel hair pasta and cook for 2-3 minutes. When it's cooked through, serve the pasta and broth in a bowl, and add 1/4 of a squeezed lemon, extra virgin olive oil and grated Parmigiano.

"Sometimes I steer away from Nonna's tradition and add a piece of ginger to the boiling liquid," Marcello said. "This is what I like to eat when I'm sick, but to be honest, I like it so much I do not wait to be sick to eat it. This is also a perfect easy dinner for the cold winter nights. I can't imagine anything more comforting."

When Is There Going to be Accountability for US Wars and Aggression?

    It’s WMD all over again.

Anonymous “US officials” are once again accusing a targeted “regime” of using “chemical weapons” and threatening that the U.S. military may have to “hold it accountable”. Once again, western media is broadcasting these accusations and threats without skepticism or investigation.

The White House plans to withdraw Kathleen Hartnett White's nomination to head the Council on Environmental Quality, a White House official confirmed to CNN Saturday.
The Washington Post first reported the plan to drop the nomination.
CNN's KFile reported Hartnett White, who would have overseen environmental and energy policies across the government, had described the belief in "global warming" as a "kind of paganism" for "secular elites" during a September 2016 interview on "The Right Perspective," an online conservative radio show.

She has also said the goal of climate activists and the United Nations was an all-powerful, one-world government and "planetary management," KFile reported.
President Donald Trump announced Hartnett White's nomination in October and re-submitted her nomination to the Senate in January. Senators challenged her statements about climate change, which go against the scientific consensus that man-made greenhouse gases are the primary driver of rising temperatures, during her confirmation hearing in November.

Military study on depleted uranium challenges radiation health risk models

Teams led by Dr Alexandra Miller at the US Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) have been responsible for significant steps forward in our understanding over how DU interacts with tissues at the cellular level. This has included studies on DU’s genotoxicity, its mutagenicity and its ability to cause leukaemia. In Miller’s latest study, published this summer, they sought to determine whether DU also caused a recently discovered effect on cells – the Bystander Effect.

A year of Trump: (Almost) everything that happened

(CNN)It will be impossible to adequately explain in decades to come just what it was like to be alive in the exhausting first year of Donald Trump's presidency.
From the moment he trampled the unifying conventions of the inaugural address by decrying "American carnage," Trump shattered political normality, tearing at racial and societal divides, the limits and decorum of his office, even raising doubts about his fidelity to the nation's founding values.
Trump is like a raging storm that never blows itself out, as his early morning Twitter rants injected into the nation's central nervous system trigger outrages that obliterate traditional political debate and make days feel like weeks, weeks feel like months and months feel like years.
Here's everything that happened during Trump's first year

  • There are 6,000 train derailments every year. I did research at one time. There are problems with the trains themselves and with the tracks. I was on a train that derailed in Wyoming 21 years ago.

This is why plans to ship nuclear waste around the country are so horrible. This is also why people who want nuclear energy to fuel each car are so stupid. Accidents that involve nuclear radiation are extremely horrendous.

Amtrak blames freight train firm for deadly South Carolina crash

Amtrak President and Chief Executive Richard Anderson said CSX was responsible for the tracks and signals, including one that had a lock attached to it and diverted the Amtrak train onto the side track.

“CSX had lined and padlocked the switch off the mainline to the siding, causing the collision,” he said in a statement.

The HPV vaccine is recommended for preteen boys and girls at age 11 or 12 so they are protected before ever being exposed to the virus.

CDC states it anti-cancer. ?. Given at puberty. 😉 For boys too now.

But when Mike Adams or Kevin Trudeau talks cancer, they get blacklisted or 20 years in an Alabama prison.

The disappearance of common species – February 1, 2018

Insect die-off: Even common species are becoming rare

Scientists were able to show that currently widespread insects are threatened with a serious decline in species diversity in the near future. The research team lists fragmentation of habitats and intensification of agriculture as reasons for the decline of these 'generalists.'

"In terms of practical nature conservation, these results signify that in the future it will no longer be sufficient to preserve small, isolated reserves — while these benefit specialized species with a simple genetic structure, the bulk of species that depend on an exchange between local populations will lose out in the medium to long term," predicts Schmitt, and he adds in closing, "This will lead to a further decline of numerous insect species — with dramatic consequences for entire food webs and ecosystems."

  • Trump’s Deceptive Energy Policy
“…Here’s what’s deceptive: There has been no war on energy. American oil, gas and renewables like wind and solar flourished under President Obama. Coal was the exception, but Mr. Obama was not its enemy; the market was.

"'Beautiful, clean coal,' meanwhile, remains a mirage, at least for now; the affordable technology isn’t there. And the United States has always exported energy. In recent years — the Obama years — the amount of energy the country has sent abroad has begun to catch up with the energy it brings in.

“Mr. Trump’s false narrative on coal is particularly cruel, since it offers empty promises to Appalachian coal miners who are suffering grievous job losses and myriad health and economic ills. It’s true that the last two Democratic presidents — Bill Clinton and Mr. Obama — cracked down on power plant emissions like soot and mercury with rules that imposed real costs on producers; and Mr. Obama’s Clean Power Plan, aimed at cutting the carbon emissions that fuel global warming, would have pressured the industry more.

“But these regulations did not kill coal-fired plants, and rolling them back, as Mr. Trump is doing, will not stop the unforgiving forces of the market, chiefly the switch to cheaper natural gas, and renewables’ increasing competitiveness. These are the forces that have been largely responsible for the decline in mining jobs and the closing, or conversion to natural gas, of hundreds of coal-fired plants…

"…Trump is also not qualified to understand the financial markets as needed. Yes, he was a businessman and that is light-years ahead of an economist or lawyer. However, his business experience is limited to really real estate. He is a babe in the woods when it comes to capital flows, currencies, and global trends…

…Nevertheless, you do not respect the fact that Trump has, in fact, changed the entire world. Your perspective is far too parochial. Trump’s Tax Reform has forced so many other countries to reverse course not the least of which is Germany. China has announced that foreign companies will pay ZERO tax on certain projects in China and even France has suddenly moved to lower taxes to be competitive with Trump. His Tweets aside, Trump has the correct agenda on taxes and he HAS forced the world to reverse course. No president has ever done that. The Democrats are plain stupid. They say Trump’s taxes will benefit the rich and not the poor. No Democrat is poor, they all roll in the money they get from the rich. To them, it is better to get ZERO and US corps leave the money overseas. Isn’t better to get something than nothing? The Democrats just cannot bring themselves to rethink the Marxist agenda of class warfare.

Trump is an improvement over ANY career politicians. But we need more for Trump will turn to Goldman Sachs and therein lies the danger."

      Great, hilarious, DUDe.

Clinton re: her role in Benghazi when she made the comment,"At this point, what difference does it make?"

Well gee, why don't you ask the dead people from the Embassy in Behghazi? They might feel differently.

"If eight years of a Clinton presidency were not enough to teach you about the slow-rolling train wreck soap opera of dazzling indifference, monumental selfishness, convoluted lies and shameless cover-ups, then just maybe you deserve to live with yet another monstrous mistake.

Lady Hillary Clinton’s orchestration of a sprawling and fantastically dishonest cover-up of the terrorist attack on her State Department post in Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11 is a clear reminder of just how totally indifferent the Clintons are when it comes to their responsibility to the voters they serve, the people they command and the country they represent.

It is only when — due to their own ineptitude and recklessness — they find their own personal fannies in a pinch that they become truly engaged. And then they become supreme maestros of fantastic cover-ups designed to skirt (no pun intended, Bubba) their own responsibility and lay waste to anyone and everyone who dares to pursue the truth or question the Clintons or their motives."

      • HoTaters HoTaters

(cont.) Quoting a bit more than normal, but this is revealing:

"Gregory Hicks, deputy chief of mission in Tripoli at the time of the organized terrorist attack in Benghazi, watched in horror as the Clinton machine kicked into hyperspeed to whitewash the attack in which four Americans were killed.

'My jaw hit the floor as I watched this,' Mr. Hicks told House investigators, describing U.N. Ambassador Susan E. Rice’s wall-to-wall appearances on Sunday political shows.

'I have been a professional diplomat for 22 years,' he said. 'I have never been as embarrassed in my life, in my career, as on that day.'

Ms. Rice was simply setting up mirrors and fanning the diversionary smoke set ablaze by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who immediately dismissed the attacks as some sort of unforeseeable, instantaneous reaction to some obscure anti-Muslim Internet video that nobody had ever heard of — at least not until Secretary Clinton made it instantly famous around the globe by blaming it for Benghazi.

By promoting that ridiculous canard, Mrs. Clinton sentenced untold numbers of people around the world to death or injury and sparked protests that swept the globe. All in direct response to her knowingly fabricated claim.

As always with the Clintons, anything to get out of a jam. Lie till you die."

See this quote from Leon@9671 re: Carroll Quigley and Rhodes Scholars. Also revealing. It's below the article above, in the comments.

          LeonS9671 chuckinva • 2 years ago

"Chuckinva… let me take it a step further this Independence Day Weekend. I will try to keep this short and succinct. During George Herbert Bush & the Henry Kissinger period was the first-time the words 'New World Order' were spoken aloud. George H.W. Bush said these words in an Address Before a Joint Session of the Congress on the State of the Union January 29, 1991 'What is at stake is more than one small country; it is a big idea: a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind — peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law.'

U.S citizens all assumed this stood for U.S. supremacy, it did not as most should know today, It stood for the dis-solution of the sovereign government of the United States under United Nations rule and law. Bill Clinton then our following president carried on the "New World Order" banner yet in a more covert manner. In a little-known quote in Bill Clinton’s book My Life. In Chapter 24, on pages 338-339, he writes: “I ended 1987 with my third speech of the decade at the Florida Democratic convention… I told the Florida Democrats, “We have to do nothing less than create a new world economic order and secure the place of the American people within it.' "

          • HoTaters HoTaters

Will dispute the "first time these words were spoken aloud" assertion. The "New World Order" (economic order) has been spoken of in international relations, economics, and trade circles for decades. It became popular in the 1980's. But wasn't referenced in public until G.W. Bush made his famous speech.

The "thousand points of light," references to Adam Weishaupt and the Illuminati Order also referenced as if it were a matter of fact, everyday thing to ponder.

            • HoTaters HoTaters

Had a friend in the 1980's who had just graduated in International Relations. Wrote a long paper on why the New World Economic Order was a good thing. That was back in the day before the ramifications were realized by most people.

Just thought at the time this person was very smart.

"Aphids give birth to live nymphs 90 percent of the time and eggs the other 10 percent. Once the nymphs are born, they immediately look for a free spot on your plant and start drinking. Research has shown that these newborn aphids already have a baby nymph inside them growing the next generation — pregnant and born at the same time."

    Part 1…The Big Picture

The US is a nation that is filled with poverty and of opportunity to exploit that poverty.

The way 'we' are doing things doesn't work for the average citizen.

According to new research by Harvard University, almost 40 million Americans "live in housing they cannot afford."

No full-time minimum-wage worker can afford a 2-bedroom apartment in any US state.

63% of americans can't afford a $500 car repair or $1000 emergency room visit according to Bankrate.

Marketwatch: Half of American families are living paycheck to paycheck. HALF..

Nearly 45,000 annual deaths are associated with lack of health insurance, according to a new study published online today by the American Journal of Public Health.

"Living paycheck to paycheck is the new way of life for U.S. workers" ..Mike Erwin CareerBuilder. "It's not just one salary range. It's pretty much across the board, and it's trending in the wrong direction."

When adjusting for inflation, today’s federal minimum wage is about the same as in the 1950s.
When the minimum wage doesn’t keep pace with inflation, its power erodes.

NYC will raise minimum wage to $15 years end.

The National Retail Federation found in a survey that "37 percent of small retailers would see serious threats to their ability to continue operating under a minimum wage of $15 per hour".

Part 2..why there is a Big Picture

The Center for Responsive Politics analyzed the personal financial disclosure data from 2012 of the 534 current members of Congress and found that, for the first time, more than half had an average net worth of $1 million or more.

In 2008, the average cost of winning a House seat was about $1.1 million and $6.5 million for a Senate seat..

Congressman's Lament: $174,000 "Isn't enough to make ends meet".. NPR

      NPR LIES..
Rank-and-file members of Congress now receive an annual salary of $178,000; the House Speaker earns $223,500 per year, while the Senate president pro tempore and the majority and minority leaders in both chambers each receive an annual salary of $193,400. ..2016

Members of Congress are eligible to receive the same annual cost-of-living increase ..

The PERKS are better than an average American lifestyle

Congressional members do not receive free health care." Instead, they choose a gold-level Obamacare policy AND receive federal subsidies [100%] that cover 72 percent of the cost of the premiums.[100%]

A Member, Senator or employee of Congress may accept transportation, lodging, meals, incidental expenses include laundry, cleaning, transportation, military air transport

“I really do believe Congress would be much better served if there was a housing allowance for members of Congress”
