Facebook a big contributor to the committees in Congress that will question Mark Zuckerberg

WASHINGTON — Members of the House and Senate committees that will question Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg about user privacy protection next week are also some of the biggest recipients of campaign contributions from Facebook employees directly and the political action committee funded by employees.

The congressional panel that got the most Facebook contributions is the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which announced Wednesday morning it would question Zuckerberg on April 11.

Lobbyist couple had to change the locks on Pruitt

People familiar with the EPA administrator’s condo rental say the arrangement, which has drawn intense scrutiny, was supposed to be a temporary fix, but he overstayed his welcome.

Scott Pruitt was only supposed to be living in the Capitol Hill condominium that has become a focal point of his latest ethics controversy for six weeks last year while he got settled in Washington – but the new Environmental Protection Agency administrator didn’t leave when his lease ended.

Instead, he asked the lobbyist couple who became his disgruntled landlords to revise his lease several times, according to two people with knowledge of the situation.

The couple, Vicki and Steve Hart, became so frustrated by their lingering tenant that they eventually pushed him out and changed their locks.

A Tenant Rights Attorney Reaches Out to Lockout Victim Scott Pruitt.

      Dear Scott:

Your landlord in D.C. locked you out?! That's terrible! The good news is that I have over 24 years of legal experience helping vulnerable tenants fight back against lockouts. Before I offer my services, however, I have a few questions about the urgency and strength of your case.

First question: In the wake of this lockout, do you have the means to avoid homelessness? I understand that the Trump Administration is buying you a $70,000 desk. Perhaps you can sleep on or under such a desk. Or, since most teachers in your state of Oklahoma live in houses that cost under $70,000, maybe you can sell your desk and buy a house. Or you could pow wow with your fellow Trump Cabinet member Ben Carson at the $31,000 dining table in his Housing & Urban Development office suite and learn about the housing opportunities he might have for you.

Second question: As you can imagine, the judges and juries in lockout/eviction cases have little sympathy for difficult tenants. You know, the kind of person who makes their environments toxic. Have you made the environment more or less toxic since you arrived in D.C.? I wonder.

Indonesia Has Declared a State of Emergency as Borneo Oil Spill Spreads

Indonesia declared a state of emergency Tuesday after a deadly oil spill off the coast of the island of Borneo continued to spread, the BBC reports.

At least four people were killed and hundreds of local residents say they have experienced health problems since the spill was reported early Saturday near the port city of Balikpapan in Indonesia’s East Kalimantan province.

The slick, which now covers an area of seven sq. mi., also threatens fishing waters off the tropical island.

Authorities managed to extinguish the flames after the oil spill caught fire over the weekend, Agence France-Presse reports.

"This utter dependence of organisms on appropriate environments (Ehrlich, 1986) is what makes ecologists so certain that today's trends of habitat destruction and modification—especially in the high-diversity tropical forest (where at least one-half of all species are believed to dwell)—are an infallible recipe for biological impoverishment. Those politicians and social scientists who have questioned the extent of current extinctions are simply displaying their deep ignorance of ecology; habitat modification and destruction and the extinction of populations and species go hand in hand."

The Eart-Life and the balanced for life Climate and its succestory is one and the SAME !!!!!!!!

The extirpation of populations and species of organisms exerts its primary impact on society through the impairment of ecosystem services. All plants, animals, and microorganisms exchange gases with their environments and are thus directly or indirectly involved in maintaining the mix of gases in the atmosphere. Changes in that mix (such as increases in carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and methane) can lead to rapid climate change and, in turn, agricultural disaster. As physicist John Holdren put it, a carbon dioxide-induced climatic change could lead to the deaths by famine of as many as a billion people before 2020.

The biological diversity crisis is indeed that; there is but one Earth, one biota, and our actions in the developed and developing world alike are destroying that which is irreplaceable. There are no quick solutions—even the full dimensions of the resource are elusive—nor is there a second chance. The actions needed are clear to us and are set forth in the report recommendations. Biological diversity has been recognized for at least the past 15 years. Yet progress to mount a reasonable research program to get not only the information that is being lost but to develop the basis with which to counteract that loss has been slow to develop. Our choice of the word "crisis" is a very deliberate one because we are rapidly running out of time where we can hope to understand and preserve the diversity of life on this planet. It is with this motivation and conviction that we submit our findings.

in a group of 7 billion, individuals are virtually helpless to make change. Only by acting together is it possible. But see the motivation factor is hugely diminished, compared to say a tribesman in prehistoric times confronting an enemy face to face.

But modern man is also dumbed down, as exemplified in this equation
0/0=0+0=0 brilliantly defined by our own HD to describe our inability to think and act intelligently and responsibly. Instead we follow the status quo of our indoctrinations, continuing in the same vein that brought us to this point.

            Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia ….that means fear of big words. Heres a scary one now;

Antidisestablishmentarianism….that means you want things to stay the same, especially they wanted church and state and all the corruption to remain in force.

Disestablishmentarianism refers to campaigns to sever links between church and state, particularly in relation to the Church of England as an established church. It was initially a movement in the United Kingdom in the 18th century.

The queen of england is very powerful and is head of the church of England. We can thank this rich monarch SOB for having the monarchy become head of church because he wasnt happy with one of his wives and wanted a divorce

the last person burned at the stake for heresy was in 1612. Separation of state and church helped put an end to these burnings and torture

Antiestablishmentarianism ; a political philosophy that views a nation's or society's power structure as corrupt, repressive, exploitative, or unjust.

Simply put, society has come from monarchy to corporatism. We need a quantum leap into freedom. We need to free ourselves from indoctrination of all sorts

Trump Threatens Putin, "Animal Assad" Over Syrian "Chemical Attack"; Russia Warns Of "Grave" Response If US Launches Strike

"Meanwhile, the US, itching for that military spending GDP boost was ready with the outraged retort: the U.S. State Department said reports of mass casualties from the attack were “horrifying” and would, if confirmed, “demand an immediate response by the international community”. At the same time, Britain’s Foreign Office also called the reports, if confirmed, “very concerning” and said “an urgent investigation is needed and the international community must respond. We call on the Assad regime and its backers, Russia and Iran, to stop the violence against innocent civilians.”

Note the "if confirmed" part, and keep an eye on how the narrative switches from that to "the attack was confirmed." If the Skripal case is any indication, just repeating it often enough, should be sufficient.

Trump already did his part on Sunday morning, when he tweeted several statements on the alleged attack as if it was already confirmed, just as one would expect to accelerate the escalation:

    'Economic Theory'

"…Exchange rates among nations were entirely based upon the metal content of the coinage. Both Spain and England experimented with debasing the coinage in an effort to increase their money supply. Therefore, Gresham’s observations were based entirely upon foreign exchange predicated upon the metal content of the coinage rather than full faith and credit in a government. As a result, the theory of inflation that dominates modern thinking remains tied to the old world monetary system BEFORE based upon CURRENCY BASED compared to the modern system which is a CREDIT BASED system dependent upon the full faith and trust of a political government rather than a monetary bases system.

This is why our modern ideas of Quantitative Easing have FAILED to produce inflation for the monetary system today is CREDIT BASED rather than CURRENCY BASED. Exchange rates are no longer dependent upon metal content, but instead, they are based upon the perception of the government. This is why the dollar will fluctuate based upon trade news etc. When you look at the actual amount of money impacted even by a trade war, it is negligible. The entire price action is based upon anticipation (confidence) rather than an actual monetary system outcome…"

    economists are confused and confusing
inflation is normally said to be caused by what people are willing to pay. They give the explanation that expectation of inflation allows it to continue indefinately. If there is higher demand, either from a willingness to spend, marketing, or a scarcity of goods, people are willing to pay more and thus capitalists raise prices. The terms cost-push and demand-pull are covered in this explanation. So that is the standard explanation…a willingness to pay more which is exploited by sellers.

But that doesnt answer what causes inflation because inflation is perpetual. Obviously people arent willing to pay more forever. At a constant rate of inflation, land and house would eventually cost more than anyone can afford. In fact inflation is engineered. Prices go up year after year because money is worth less. Labor rates then must be increased but the rich are left with the advantage. Financial people are some of the most confused thinkers in any field. They would never make it in physics or engineering where clarity and truth is essential.

    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

In a fair world, there would be no inflation. Its a kind of sickness engineered by business and bankers and the war machine.
Economists consider all sorts of things money which arent money at all. Like loans and credit and a hundred and one sneaky 'financial instruments'. They fool you with words. The war machine is not productive, its destructive and the burden is carried by the people. This is true for many things, like the stock market, usury in general, insurance, middle men, the profit margin.

The history of Rome in regard to inflation tells the story

      • WEll said Code, inflation is stealing from the responsible, the savers, and keeping the gerbils all running around that habitat wheel.

The Rupublican chimes in "welfare is unfair and makes people lazy…the answer is simple; cut welfare, enforce the rule of law and imprison all the pinko liberals"

They both look over at the rabbi for his take on it.
The rabbi shrugs his shoulders and says "why change a good thing?"

I wasnt lumping you in a category, I just thought you espoused standard economic theory….based mainly on the discussions we had about the merits of capitalism. So ok, you arent on board with standard economic theory?

Roughly defined as a belief that the best solutions for all needs of civilization are naturally produced by competition in a free and privately owned, market driven, supply and demand business model with a minimum of government imposed laws needed just to keep unscrupulous people from spinning out of control, and which relies naturally on banking and investor fueled capital…with consequent creep upward of inflation due to the natural laws of supply and demand

              • no inflation is caused by overspending, and just plain printing.

It is a degradation of the currency. Keeps the hamsters on the wheel.

You Trump lumped me. coined it I did. lol

                • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

                  most people are satisfied with this explanation of inflation;

"Price inflation happens when the cost of raw materials, the cost of production, and/or the cost of distribution increases and the producer passes the costs on to the consumer,… and that inflation is an essential price signal to investors and business people so that they can assess market cycles."

They dont notice that no explanation is given of why raw materials, production and distribution costs rise!

Its a simple fact that if you flood the economy with more money, its value is watered down, thus things cost more. This is what happens; income lags behind cost of goods. People become debtors. Capital investors and banks LOVE debtors!

The government has several ways of increasing the money supply. Expansion of the money stock is carried out by monetizing federal debt, by Federal Reserve open market operations, and by credit expansion through commercial bank loans to private borrowers.

Meanwhile, people with monetary (bank) savings see that value reduced, while the rich who own assets see their value increase. The result is that the rich get richer, and thus inflation is a good thing for them. The constant and accepted increase of inflation indicates its an engineered phenomenon rather than people simply spending too much or public acceptance and willingness to pay more.

Hulsman explains why the rich benefit from inflation

Darwinism…(and the Darwinist capitalism model) have been outdated.

many leading evolutionary theorists are coming to a consensus with Margulis' endosymbiotic hypothesis, that the natural selection and random mutation mechanism lacks the creative power that neo-Darwinists have long attributed to it.

anyway, scientists tested the radiation from k-40 at elevated levels and found it wasnt mutagenic, as Ive pointed out numerous times

I believe its generally considered that oxygen radicals from normal metabolism drives mutations

                    • Code, my work, but earth magnetic reversals…loss of overall magnetic protection, bombardment by cosmic rays, also coincides with both massive species changes –mostly die-out, but also large jumps in genetics improvements (mutations that worked out).

    Plastic Waste Kills Six-Ton Whale

In the annals of human history, modern day society is already setting records never before dreamed possible, as human-trashed plastic officially kills a six-ton six-year-old sperm whale. Yes, and it only took a total of 64 pounds of plastic to do the nasty deed.

An autopsy of the dead whale found on a beach in southern Spain brought to light the cause of death, which according to experts at El Valle Wildlife Rescue Centre concluded the whale was unable to digest or excrete plastic it ingested. The official cause of death is termed peritonitis, which is an infection of the inner lining of the stomach.

Interestingly, and somewhat ironically, the sperm whale has the biggest brain of any creature on Earth and a life expectancy of 70 years, similar to humans, except for brain size, which is much bigger than human brains… hmm! Still, it’s human thinking (“processing”) with resultant behavior, carelessly, and maybe even sadistically instinctively, tossing plastic waste somewhere on the planet, ending up in the young sperm whale’s stomach.

"Greenrail sleepers are railway sleepers that have the same mechanical characteristics as traditional, reinforced concrete sleepers, which represents the standard in the current market," Giovanni de Lisi, the company's CEO, told CNBC's "Sustainable Energy".

"They're mainly made of recycled plastic: urban plastic and old recycled tires," De Lisi added. He went on to state that every kilometer of railway line made by Greenrail allowed the recycling of 35 tons of plastic and used tires.

The business also says that a Greenail sleeper can incorporate photovoltaic panels to enable solar energy harvesting. "The idea of the Greenrail Solar was borne from the will to transform the railway infrastructures from passive infrastructures to active infrastructures," de Lisi added.

"The railway tracks are exposed to the sun 90 percent of the time — from here comes the idea to collect solar energy and transform it into electricity," he added.

Greenrail's COO, Firas Bunni, told CNBC that for every one kilometer of the solar sleepers, an estimated 30 to 35 megawatt hours per year of energy could be produced, enough to meet the average needs of 10 Italian homes annually.

Norway's wolves could be ERADICATED if controversial law change goes ahead, activists say
THE Norwegian Government’s proposal to alter the country’s biodiversity law could see the country's wolf population eradicated, activists have warned.

Maren Esmark, general secretary of Naturvernforbundet, slammed the controversial move to change the law in just two weeks when it took more than eight years to create the legislation.

The Biodiversity Act, which came into effect in 2009, is intended to protect the biological, geological and landscape diversity in Norway.

Speaking to, Ms Esmark hit out against the rushed proposal as she claimed they just wanted to kill more wolves.

She said: “Last week the Government sent out a proposal to change our biodiversity law. The law was adopted in 2009, it took eight years to make it and it was some of the best legal experts we have in Norway who sat down and created it.

“Now they are planning on changing the law in just two weeks. They are trying to change the law so it will be easier to kill wolves. Wolves are of course a protected animal in Norway, they are an endangered species, we only have 50-60 wolves left.

Brexit News: Aussies demand Britain accepts hormone-infected beef in Brexit trade deal
AUSTRALIA is drawing up plans to demand Britain accepts hormone-infected beef as part of a Brexit trade deal.

International Trade Secretary Liam Fox has dubbed the deal an early “win” and said it will reduce costs for British consumers.

But in return, Britons will be told to scrap a 36-year EU ban on meat sold from cows pumped with growth hormones.

The practice increases the weight gain of cattle by 10 per cent, slashing the time it takes to fatten the animals for market.

The EU claims at least one of the hormones used causes cancer.

The Russian government will retaliate against the tightened US sanctions. Clearly, the actions of the Congress are unjustified and intended to provoke a confrontation. We are on the path to war and every opportunity to further that goal is clearly being taken by the USA, UK, and the EU."

"…This means that the likelihood of the coming Pi target on November 21st, 2018 has a higher potential to be linked (1) to the Middle East, and (2) to Russia.

The answer, unfortunately, is yes. We will be looking at the world markets to extract what they are setting up for at the Orlando WEC. This event will be important for the (1) the consolidation should end, (2) we have the Monetary Crisis Cycle in play, (3) the Pension Crisis is beginning, (4) interest rates will rise even faster with war, and (5) the prospects of the Pi target, which is normally geopolitical rather than economic, also comes into play.

This will NOT be an easy time to deal with all this. We will need the computer and review all the markets for only then collectively can we possibly comprehend what is about to unfold from that turning point into 2020/2021."

how I know its fake news. Cohen is being investigated for using a home equity line to borrow the $130,000 he used to pay porn star Stormy Daniels for her silence

If it was real, he would just use tax payer money, hes no schlemiel

Where's Trump's russian crime? Whore agreed to a settlement with nondisclosure. Cohen's charges are being warped as an illegal campaign contribution. Meanwhile, taxpayer money used to fund a payout slush fund for congressmen's indiscretions and hilary walks around scott free after numerous bribes and payoffs to clinton's so called charity.

All makes perfect sense, doesn't it? It does if you want to remove a sitting president.

Why would Trump do Stormy Daniels when he was banging Melania and Karen McDougal? See, it just doesnt add up.

Youre right, its not against the law to kill millions in wars, rack up dept which steals public money in usury payments, rape and pillage the environment, sell out to corporations, ramp up the war machine funneling billions into the military industrial complex, call it productivity, keep your buddies like Silverstein and Giuliani safe from their crimes of 9-11, send billions of tax dollars to Israel. brainwashing is the basis of our great indoctri-nation. I know a brilliant engineer who designed a process for his company. The company made millions and he got ONE DOLLAR, some sort of legal process of patent ownership.

People are brainwashed into thinking the nation is great; that the system is the only way; and that work ethic defines your wealth and value. They never stop to think that their employer OWNS every bit of their labor. IT turns out that in this corporatist world, approximately 150 corporations own the output of everyones days.

We are told, and we believe, that we work to make a living. This is not true. Our work belongs to capitalists and we are wage slaves who must purchase our needs from capitalists. We lose at both ends of this game.

What does it mean in real terms? If you worked to make a living, and had the modern means of production, you would only have to work 2 or 3 hours a day to have the same amount of goods you have now. That includes home, food, clothes, transport and gadgets. This is true, and easily shown, yet people cant believe it. That is how life is in our great indoctri-nation. Look it up for yourselves; as a capitalist I sell my employees a thing for $20 that cost $1 to make. And they are blind to it!

Instead they cheer overlords, who they believe care for babys, have faith in god, create jobs and keep them safe by fighting terrorists.

Thus the nation was lost…indeed the world

                      how to make America Great again;

Reduce jobs as much as possible,

redesign cities into hamlets and green belts of edible plants, beauty and recreation and implement this from the war budget.

                      Provide for the poor.

Redesign the concept of land ownership; real estate is as unethical as usury.

Stop creating the narrative of terrorism and enemies; declare a world wide cease fire.

Dont rely on hope of religion to solve civil problems or emancipate you in calamity or prop up the perceived power or benevolence of leaders

Reduce the production of babies with birth control and easy discussion of the ramifications of overpopulation.

Have the rich pay for social security, thats where your wealth went and it should be returned in the difficult days of old age.

De-centralize energy and manufacturing through solar wind and 3-d printing while getting rid of the profit margin. This reduces the work load

                      Use bamboo and basalt.

                      Educate for free.

Plant trees. Return natures nurseries to states of purity; wherever land meets water and river meets ocean.

Stop spying on everyone and controlling their beliefs with propaganda.

re-design banking. If fractional reserve banking was real, I could loan you a million dollars I dont have and retire on interest payments. Banking is a sick and obvious thievery that is destroying people and countries

Trump? you mean people arent allowed to say he appears to be a psycho? Well let me chime right in; Trump has many characteristics of Narcissistic personality disorder

He appears angry…in the eyes. He has a strange oral thing, pursed, tensed lips, aggressive looking. He has the manipulative character I associate with sociopaths. His interest in pro wrestling dovetails with manipulative character.

You dont see a lot of love, sensitivity or humility…warmth.

If Trump appears like a mature balanced and intelligent person, this raises a question about ones powers of perception. I will say he appeared more refined and sharper when he was younger.

What is a real estate tycoon doing in the position of 'commander in chief', a military type roll? Is he a leader of men and women by example? Intellect? Vision? Education?

Obama might have been more psychopathic in the sense that his feelings didnt guide or were subservient to his goals. You can see Trump displays more emotion, where Obama was uniformly smooth

All the presidents are lying fascists in the sense that they say they are for the people, yet do everything for corporations, the elite, and empire building or hegemony through the military might of the country. Woman Who Hates Endangered Species Act Will Be in Charge of Wildlife Policy

As if endangered species didn't have enough to worry about, they're about to have a vocal opponent of animals and conservation overseeing their protection in the White House. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has named Susan Combs to serve as the acting assistant secretary of fish, wildlife and parks.

To fully understand why Combs is such a terrible pick, take a look at her history as a comptroller in Texas. In that role, she routinely went up against the US Fish and Wildlife Service when they tried to enforce portions of the Endangered Species Act in her state. She also successfully fought to keep the golden-cheeked warbler and the dune sagebrush lizard from being included on the endangered list.

Combs made it her business to protect the oil industry and other corporations from the supposed drag of having to make adjustments to preserve vulnerable species. She opposed pretty much every creature considered for endangered designation on economic grounds.

Perhaps most infamously, Combs once labeled animals included on the official endangered list as "incoming Scud missiles." How her mind managed to decide that animals in need of conservation efforts are equivalent to deadly weapons is completely perplexing.

Pennsylvania Superior Court Rules That Fracking Natural Gas From a Neighboring Property Is Trespassing

Last week the Pennsylvania Superior Court issued an opinion that could have major ramifications for the hydraulic fracturing industry in the state: It states a company trespassed on a family's land by extracting natural gas from beneath their property while operating a fracking well next door.

The Briggs family owns about 11 acres of land in Harford Township in Susquehanna County. When Southwestern Energy began operating an unconventional natural gas well on the adjacent property in 2011, the Briggs declined to lease their mineral rights to the company for development. In 2015, they filed a complaint that Southwestern was trespassing by extracting gas from beneath their property without a lease.

Southwestern didn't dispute they'd removed natural gas from beneath the Briggs' land, but argued they weren't trespassing due to the "rule of capture," which says the first person to "capture" a natural resource like groundwater, gas or oil owns it, regardless of property lines.

A lower court agreed with Southwestern and issued a summary judgment in their favor, but last week's Superior Court opinion overturns that decision, stating that the rule of capture shouldn't apply to unconventional natural gas drilling because of key differences in the method of extraction.

A peak inside the human sub-bubble..the tumor looks fragmented..consuming and fighting back itself..

Three More Reasons for Wealth-Deprived Americans to Take to the Streets

It's starting to happen, as teachers around the country are fighting back against income and wealth inequality. At least 3 of every 4 Americans have been cheated out of a share of U.S. productivity since the 1980s. The approximately one of four Americans who have prospered, especially those in the top 5%, generally don't seem to care much about inequality, and instead hang onto delusions about their own self-worth and the struggles of people who "don't work hard enough."

From various trusted sources come maddening facts about the relentlessly expanding wealth divide. Inequality is a perversion of human conduct, as most of society's new benefits have derived from automation, and thus from decades of public input, taxpayer funding, and government research. But the beneficiaries are those who are well-connected to the corporate and financial processes exploiting that growth, mainly through stock ownership.

The rest of America has been left behind, but their voices are getting louder.

Less than 72 hours to go until Trump starts WW3?

[Editor’s note: Expect the US to carry out airstrikes on Syria within the next 72 hours and unlike the last time when only cruise missiles were fired, expect aircraft flying from US bases in the region and US carriers in the Mediterranean and Red Seas to be involved.

The peer-reviewed study demonstrates that aluminum doses in vaccines are based on efficacy—that is, spurring the body’s immune response—rather than safety. This means, according to the researchers, that on their first day of life, infants receive 17 times more aluminum than would be allowed if aluminum doses in vaccines were set according to a baby’s body weight. The researchers also contend that errors were made in establishing “safe” levels of aluminum exposure in humans, leading to dangerous levels of aluminum being injected into young children."

"…The Impossible Burger is a bit different from a traditional veggie or black-bean burger. The non-meat “meat” was developed in 2011 by a biochemistry professor, Patrick Brown, when his team essentially found a way to produce a meat substitute that tastes and “bleeds” just like real meat.

“Probably the single most important ingredient that we add is a protein that catalyzes all the flavor that makes meat taste like meat is heme,” Brown told FOX Business in an interview last June. The heme in an Impossible Burger is atom-for-atom identical to the heme found in red meat, but it is created by soy leghemoglobin by genetically modifying yeast and using fermentation. The added ingredient essentially gives the plant-based patty that meaty taste and texture. It’s then combined with other simple ingredients, including water, wheat protein, potato protein and coconut oil…"

"The stale talking points, are, stale"

Trump’s talking points on clean air and energy are stale and Orwellian
Trump’s administration is the reign of the Mayberry Ministry of Truth.

All politicians discuss their policies in terms meant to appeal to a target audience. When it’s done well and honestly, we call it powerful rhetoric. When it’s more tendentious and inelegant, we call it spin. And when it reaches a point where the language and the policy are completely at odds, we call it Orwellian, after George Orwell’s 1984 and the totalitarian Ministry of Truth it depicted. “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

But Orwellian language only sounds chilling coming from a regime able to enforce obedience. Coming from a stumbling, feckless regime staffed by amateurs and ideologues, it just sounds desperate.

John J. DiIulio Jr., who worked in the George W. Bush White House on faith-based initiatives, famously referred to the Bush administration as “the reign of the Mayberry Machiavellis.”

Thus far, Trump’s administration is the reign of the Mayberry Ministry of Truth — apparatchiks delivering up-is-down talking points with little evident wit or enthusiasm. It is a reflection less of authoritarian confidence than intellectual exhaustion.

Which brings us to this week’s rollout of Trump’s new executive order on energy. It came served on a bed of talking points utterly unmoored from the substance of the policy.

"There Wasn't A Single Corpse": Russia Claims 'White Helmets' Staged Syria Chemical Attack

Russia claims that the reported chemical attack in Syria last Sunday was staged by the "white helmets," a US-funded NGO lauded by mainstream media for their humanitarian work, while long-suspected of performing less-than humanitarian deeds behind the curtain.

Speaking with EuroNews, Russia's ambassador to the EU, Vladimir Chizov, said "Russian military specialists have visited this region, walked on those streets, entered those houses, talked to local doctors and visited the only functioning hospital in Douma, including its basement where reportedly the mountains of corpses pile up. There was not a single corpse and even not a single person who came in for treatment after the attack."

"But we've seen them on the video!" responds EuroNews correspondent Andrei Beketov.

"There was no chemical attack in Douma, pure and simple," responds Chizov. "We've seen another staged event. There are personnel, specifically trained – and you can guess by whom – amongst the so-called White Helmets, who were already caught in the act with staged videos."

"…Unfortunately, NATO by itself needs a war. As the budgets get tighter and tighter, funding is shifted to social programs. NATO will then layoff people and lose its power base. It needs to demonize Russia as much as possible and to even provoke a confrontation to justify getting more money. Of course, it seeks to provoke a confrontation for money but it assumes there will not be World War III because neither side desires to occupy the other. So exactly why do we need standing armies today is simply a political issue. However, maintaining such a military power also ensures that it will eventually be used.

If the reason for war is no longer occupation but more like a brawl between two drunks in a bar, they do we need standing armies especially when we can just push a button? It is sad to say that now we will see tensions rise from 2018 onward into the peak of the cycle."

"…Therefore, arbitrage kept the currencies in check through the bond markets predicated upon CONFIDENCE. Because traders throughout the world could sell bonds and shares instantly, this is why the European governments shut down the markets. This was the check and balance based upon CONFIDENCE in their governments. On July 31, 1914, the New York Stock Exchange closed its doors for the longest period in exchange history due to the political pressure for fear that European bonds would be sold there. The New York Stock Exchange remained closed until November 28th, 1914, when bonds began trading once again.

Europe feared massive selling and foreign investors would try to repatriate their money which would aid an enemy. Effectively, the free markets shut down and this was a political directive. In London at that time, individual trades were made on a daily basis, then carried until Settlement Day when trades were matched and crossed. Brokers would make up the surplus or deficit on their accounts by settling outstanding trades with cash. As long as there were no significant swings in stock or bond prices, brokers had sufficient capital to settle their accounts. However, since traders relied on credit, large swings in prices could and would bankrupt many of the brokers, worsening the financial panic…"

    Human: Becoming. Expendable.

One does not become free from the Powers by defeating them in a frontal attack. Rather, one dies to their control.

One would like to believe that human institutions exist to enhance the lives of people, but there is very little evidence to support that view.

A domestic workforce is entirely unnecessary, so there is no need to even grant it subsistence wages or any other humane benefit.

                  • I am against 180 military bases in foreign countries. Bring them all home.

I am OK with some kind of wealth or income cap. Or a 10% of your wealth is now ours (tax).

See you think just because I support our president and our country (my country) that every other talking point applies to me. That is insulting and shameful

stock says " This is a bounce back phase after intentional plundering. its my country and we are going to do what we have to do to be a viable country again,"

This gets back to the problems of global economics. Ever since about the year 1700 this cherished sovereignty is a myth. Yep, capitalism. Step back and see the whole picture and realize humans need to re-invent the profit driven corporate owned economics we take for granted. Your countries borders are on a map only, the real world has moved on.

Let me quote "Now, the raw materials used to create a typical laptop may come from as many as six continents. Those materials could then be further processed in Germany, the United States or Japan before being used to make an LCD screen in South Korea or a computer chip in Malaysia, Vietnam or the Philippines, all before being put into a final product in China. A similar story can be told for the iPhone, whose components come from South Korea, Germany, France, Japan and several other Asian countries before they are assembled in China. Nor is it unique to electronics; the Boeing 787, for example, is pieced together by nine different countries in North America, Europe and Asia. The center console of a Honda Accord alone involves some two dozen suppliers."

SO its a global economy…so what? Well heres what; hoping the U.S. will regain its glory through a sovereign ideology is not realistic. Kiss the past goodbye. And the future? In a word, robots. This overturns…invalidates… these concepts; jobs, work ethic, equal opportunity, markets, supply and demand economics. Its impossible to wrap ones head around, so ingrained are these themes

              • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

                you mention making america great again by limiting the wealth and trade imbalance that has been going to china. And…you can read the articles…its happening already! But those authors dont see whats really happening. Re-shoring manufacturing doesnt mean a better life for the wage slaves of capitalism. Heres why;

"Research shows that the automation of U.S. factories is a much bigger factor than foreign trade in the loss of factory jobs. A study at Ball State University‘s Center for Business and Economic Research last year found that trade accounted for just 13 percent of America’s lost factory jobs. The vast majority of the lost jobs — 88 percent — were taken by robots and other homegrown factors that reduce factories’ need for human labor."

When Trump says "Im going to create jobs, Ive created many jobs, trust me" etc etc it is outdated rhetoric spoken for a blind and dumbed down populace. Take a close look at these workers and tell me if they are happy

Damn straight theyre happy, this is why

Now, tell me who exactly is bringin' home that paycheck? Oh sure, when that lazy guy with no work ethic that was replaced by robots gets desperate, he will work for less and maybe land a job. Thats the capitalist way…supply, demand…demand…supply. Well think again

Since the media ignores positive news, it is had to find stories about record tax collections and a shortage of job seekers for employers. It will improve on into 2018 when the tax cuts take their full effect. Of course by then interest rates will begin to rise in large increments and any war rumblings will be considered good for the stock markets. Enjoy it while you can.

Modern man is myopic, his normalcy bias molded by civilization, and intentionally so. To understand the way forward for the country and our economics we need a clear view.

What is wealth, where does it come from, how do you get it? Anybody who is suffocating knows air is worth more than all the gold in the world. And it is…should be…free. There are many commonwealth essentials that came without a price, free of the market dynamic; water, wind, trees, love and inspiration, sunshine.

A pharaoh in ancient Egypt had the realization that all life and wealth came from the sun. Extend that to super novas and he was correct. I-phones come from super novas and the sun, both materials and energy to put them together. Man and his/her intellectual power would not exist without the sun. Man lost both that vision and the reverence for powers far beyond his little sphere of economics. Bear with me, Im getting to a point

Thermodynamics suggests earth should be constantly dwindling down into maximum entropy, yet the earth is far from thermodynamic equilibrium. "This seeming contradiction is resolved by considering planet Earth as a coupled, hierarchical and evolving non-equilibrium thermodynamic system that has been substantially altered by the input of free energy generated by photosynthetic life."

Sun drives plants and plankton which create and drive the atmosphere and a vibrant alive earth far from thermodynamic equilibrium. This realization was the basis for the…

The living earth driven into dynamic energetic exchange of material and energy by photosynthesis and the creation of oxygen and the living ecosphere is the basis of the gaia hypothesis. The life work of Carl Sagans wife (who spoke out for 9-11 truth) was instrumental in this.

But what does it have to do with robots and economics? How can I put it….

The industrial revolution disqualified the idea that work = productivity. This is not the first example. The introduction of the horse changed Native American indians concept that walking/running equaled distance traveled, and this changed everything about Indian civilization.

Robots will take over jobs, simple as that. And the BASIS of economics is that people work to be able to buy what they need and want. No work = no money = no buying = collapse of economics as we know it. No ifs ands or buts about it. And here is where we come back to RA, the sun god and the commonwealth.

Man needs to rid himself of the profit model. Air, sun, tree and water, the very basis, the
                    > cause < of wealth were always free. At some point, man was also a freeman, like beluga whales and the Albatross that circumnavigates the planet on wing.

well thats my diatribe; we stand on the threshold of liberating man and woman from their wage slavery. Free time in abundance can be ours. The requirements and wants of life can be met with far less work. The rich would lose control because market forces will not exist in the same way. But the utopia wont happen unless man opens his mind. We must embrace the living world, see that all of our wranglings, the economics and politics are a manufactured anthropocentric insanity supported totally by the sun and gaia, the living world. Man must progress from the ancient history of bitter savagery, beyond the dark ages of Monarchy and feudal serfdom, beyond the insanity of corporatism and the capitalist ideology..into the light of…call it enlightenment. We are children of the earth, the sun, the waters, the air. Literally, dynamically, absolutely

Goldman Sachs's view of healing people because they figure it is a bad business model (might fail to make money in the long run) might be fine from an investment standpoint. But there are ways around that possible losing proposition.

Here in San Diego we have been using substantially less water due to drought conditions and our bills go up and they keep on more approving housing projects that will add to the water draw. And they never tell you or mention what the subsidized water rate is for the saltwater conversion plant built in nearby Carlsbad. Taxpayers subsidized or it would have never been built. Plus with less water usage, less sewerage needs to be treated but rates still continue on up.

Then there are electrical rates going upwards even with solar panels adding to the grid. Converting sunlight to power is bad for business if you are a power company so you have to restructure the rates being charged for off-peak and high-demand hours in order to compensate for solar cells adding more power and conserving usage (LEDs and whatnot). Public utility commissions approve all these rate scams.

Conserve gasoline and the price at the pump goes up along with added taxes and registration fees, at least here in California where we probably sit on more oil that Texas has but will never be allowed to drill into it.

These are all politically motivated decisions i.e. carbon credits, to keep people under the government's thumb while making a few richer.

Just strating this page. My new saying recently coined:

We need to use the machine to beat the machine.

Soldiers of Ra "We are not machines" What a great song if you can find it, wish I could find the lyrics.
Yahoo and Bing are suspect, way too establishment!

If anyone has internet websites or tools like TOR that allow us to step back the overly concentrated and potentially evil power of the "Establishment Techrocracy" please drop in comments.

Lots of smart and caring people get sucked into the diatribe, too. A pre-disposition to lean one way in thinking, was co-opted by the Globalist cause, and manipulated into a tool to further the Centralized World Government control scheme.

So when I saw promotion of this book coming out in October 3, I figured it would be worth a little expert to look into these "Experts" and see what their backgrounds were. It was funny that it took little more than 30 minutes to get a pretty clear view and trend.

It's a "Liberal" thing. The Liberal "cause" has been co-opted by the Globalists that be. The liberals don't realize their role in multi-point strategy to bring America to it's knees, to eliminate the Constitution, and the resilient, morally grounded, Christian middle class, at least eliminate their financial stability and overall opportunity for action.

  • You would that there would be lots of new all time high temepratures in USA in the last 20 years, at least from reading the climate "folks".

Hmmm only 2 records set in 20 years, how can that be?!?!?!?!?!?!!
