The tax bill isn't law anyway. The Senate version is different than the House version and after they write a single bill, it will have to be voted on over again. And it is possible that it may never pass.

Do Senate Republicans have the votes to pass their tax bill?

"Senate Republicans approved their version of a tax overhaul early Saturday morning, in a 51-to-49 vote. Only Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) crossed party lines to vote against the bill. Below, see what senators said about the bill before the vote.
No GOP senators have indicated opposition to the bill. Two others have expressed concerns with the bill. If three vote against it, the bill would fail.

"Senate Republicans are racing to pass a tax bill by the first weekend of December, with the goal of sending President Trump Congress’s first major legislative accomplishment by the end of this year. But it’s not clear they'll have the votes do it. …"

It is good business..10 trillion will end up being another 15 trillion or at the end of the 10 year tax program of Republican control and then the ensuing riots around the country..the U.S. will be at 35 trillion in debt and no one will get anything.. in the bottom 80%. Nice! Zip! Zero ! Nada!

Back home in Kentucky just hours after the Senate narrowly pushed through the nearly $1.5 trillion tax bill, McConnell predicted that the boldest rewrite of the nation's tax system in decades would generate more than enough economic growth to prevent the burgeoning deficits being forecast.

The only way this 1.5 trillion won't be 5 if they start charging taxes on all robotic machines labor.. as they do now for the human livestock.

Any robotic machine that preforms a service or productive function for any owner that is for profit or gain in any way.. should be taxed.

Do they charge taxes on the gigantic arms sales to other countries?

          • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

            Good they?

We do not even charge a sales tax on stock purchases..last I checked they are purchased assets of any company. I buy a suburban I pay tax..asset of GM..can go up or down in value…I buy GM stock an asset..can go up of down in value.

The peons buying the actual suburban must be morons… 🙂

Iran bad because israel wants it so..but nuclear "bounding" between horseman of apocalypse good ?

White House May Share Nuclear Power Technology With Saudi Arabia

The Trump administration is holding talks on providing nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia — a move that critics say could upend decades of US policy and lead to an arms race in the Middle East.

The Saudi government wants nuclear power to free up more oil for export, but current and former American officials suspect the country's leaders also want to keep up with the enrichment capabilities of their rival, Iran.

Saudi Arabia needs approval from the US in order to receive sensitive American technology. Past negotiations broke down because the Saudi government wouldn't commit to certain safeguards against eventually using the technology for weapons.

Now the Trump administration has reopened those talks and might not insist on the same precautions.

    Dumbest. Criminal. Ever.

The next day, after the GOP's dark-of-night tax villainy, Trump went to New York City, where thousands of enraged people greeted him with jeers of "Shame!" "Traitor!" and "Lock Him Up!" One sign read, "A package of bologna would make a better president" – a claim proved bleakly accurate when, unable to ever shut the hell up, he gave us what one analyst called his "Obstruction-Of-Justice-ish Tweet," drawing "Rave Reviews From Critics, Amid Tremendous Excitement." "I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI," bleated Trump, evidently unaware he was thus declaring his complicity in what he'd long claimed were Flynn's rogue acts, a lie the New York Times also just trashed.

Did Mike Flynn Wear A Wire During Conversations With Jared Kushner?

By now, other potential Trump administration officials who might’ve interacted with Michael Flynn following his Jan. 24 interview with FBI agents – where the former general lied about the details of his conversation with then-ambassador Kislyak – are probably tearing their hair out trying to discern whether the former National Security Adviser – who served in that post for less than a month before being fired for allegedly misrepresenting these same conversations to Vice President Pence – might’ve worn a wire during their interactions.

Of course, there’s nothing in Flynn’s Nov. 30 plea agreement that definitively answers the question of whether Flynn wore a wire.

So, in the interest of reading the tea leaves, the Guardian spoke to a handful of experts about whether there was any language in the plea agreement to suggest that Flynn – who tried to cover up the fact that he intimated to then-ambassador Kislyak that Trump would roll back some of the sanctions against the Putin government while also soliciting a Russian veto of a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlements – might’ve been wired for sound.

Their conclusion? That certain language in the Flynn plea about ‘covert actions’ suggests that, yes, he did wear a wire.

Pussygrabber in chief has trouble breathing ?

Trump’s lawyer: the president can’t obstruct justice.

13 legal experts: yes, he can.

“Dowd’s argument is the last refuge of a scoundrel, and it would lead us down a path to despotism.”

“While it may be an inconvenient truth for President Trump, he is bound by the rule of law.” —Ric Simmons, Ohio State University

President Trump’s lawyer, John Dowd, apparently believes the president cannot be guilty of obstruction of justice because he’s the president.

The “president cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer [under the Constitution’s Article II] and has every right to express his view of any case,” Dowd told Axios’s Mike Allen.

But is that true? To find out, I reached out to 13 legal experts and asked them a single question: Can the president commit obstruction of justice?

Their full responses, edited for clarity and style, are below.

A kids’ book wants to teach your children to love Ayn Rand’s
    “Atlas Shrugged”
    Oh boy.

"A new book promises to teach your children about the ideology best summed up by philosopher Ayn Rand in her classic tome, "The Virtue of Selfishness."

To be fair, this book, called "The Tuttle Twins and the Search for Atlas," actually borrows themes from her infamous novel-slash-doorstop known "Atlas Shrugged." And the book, perfect for growing libertarians everywhere, the Tuttle Twins teach us that it's okay to be selfish, so long as you can depict everyone less fortunate than yourself as lazy and entitled."

Saudi Arabia is the Cause of Yemen's Atrocities Yet The U.S. Continues to Exacerbate the Conflict

The utterly clueless Donald Trump has no problem with any of this.

The first step in tackling Yemen's humanitarian crisis is acknowledging that that the tragedy in Yemen is the result of foreign military intervention in the internal affairs of that country. Of recent, Congress took a first step in recognizing this with a bill, titled H.CON.RES.81, which calls for the invocation of the War Powers Act to end US participation in the war in Yemen. But while the bill was promising in the beginning, in the end it was denied privileged status, which would have expedited its hearing, and it was sent to oblivion in committee.

H.CON.RES.81, also known as the Khanna bill, ran into opposition, not just from Republicans disposed to support a president who tweets in support of the Saudi Prince but also from the Democratic Whip, Steny Hoyer, who urged fellow Democrats to refuse to sign onto the bill.

It seemed America, yet again, was not willing to stop sticking their nose where it doesn't belong. In fact, while we often hear of Yemen's humanitarian crisis, it is barely acknowledged how America's support of Saudi Arabia plays a large role in causing this humanitarian crisis.

John Kerry: Israel and Saudi Arabia Were ‘Desperate’ For WW3 With Iran

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has admitted that Saudi Arabia and Israel were desperate for an all-out war with Iran, prior to the 2015 nuclear deal.

Speaking at a panel discussion at a nuclear weapons reduction forum at the Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday, Kerry said that leaders from Israel, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia aggressively pushed the US to preemptively strike Iran and potentially kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. reports: Kerry described the lead up to the deal as involving intense and aggressive lobbying toward military escalation by the three countries, whose leaders attempted to personally intervene. “Each of them said to me: You have to bomb Iran, it’s the only thing they are going to understand,” Kerry related at Tuesday’s forum.

He further explained, “I remember that conversation with President Mubarak. I looked at him and said: It’s easy for you to say. We go bomb them and I bet you’ll be the first guy out there the next day to criticize us for doing it. And he went: ‘Of course, ha-ha-ha-ha!’”

Kerry also identified Benjamin Netanyahu as taking a clear lead role in pushing for direct military action against Iran, saying, “It was a trap in a lot of ways. But more importantly, Prime Minister Netanyahu was genuinely agitating towards action.”

Tens of thousands join anti-corruption protest on streets of Tel Aviv

Demonstrators attack slow pace of investigations into Benjamin Netanyahu, who is suspected of taking luxury gifts

Tens of thousands of people have protested in Tel Aviv against alleged corruption within the government and the slow pace of investigations of the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu is suspected of receiving luxury gifts from wealthy supporters and has also faced police questioning over a secret deal he allegedly sought for favourable coverage with the publisher of the top-selling Israeli daily, Yedioth Ahronoth.

Protesters massed in a large boulevard of an upmarket neighbourhood late on Saturday shouting “shame” and “Bibi go home”, referring to the prime minister by his nickname.

Transgender Epidemic In ‘Feminine’ Boys Linked To Chemicals In Plastics University of Rochester latest research raises concerns

The current transgender epidemic in feminine boys has been linked back to chemicals in plastic that alters the brains of male babies according to US researchers. Males exposed to high doses of chemicals from plastics in the womb became less likely to play with boys' toys like cars or masculine 'rough and tumble' games and opted for more feminine activities like dressing up or dolls. The University of Rochester latest research raises concerns about the safety of phthalates found in vinyl flooring and PVC shower curtains, the finding is reported in the International Journal of Andrology.

Does polyvinylidene fluoride cause sperm damage and genetic damage?

      Just wondering.

    • "Transgender Epidemic In ‘Feminine’ Boys Linked To Chemicals"

While the synthetic estrogen chemicals in plastic bottles (especially soda) has been long debated, the real question is the actual influences of psychological inputs that have WAY more influence in the developing minds of children.

A child's brain is plastic in the most rudimentary sense. It's constantly changing from the data being input… This has a huge behavioral AND chemical effect on a growing child's brain. Then add to that a child that has a hard time fitting in (for whatever reason) and you will see deviations in behavior from the norm.

This is a way to find a place in the world that eases those hardships by looking to those that seemingly give softer attention to the child.

That's no mystery. The disturbing thing is that these kids are reinforced into this behavior by the rejection of those that initially caused the negitive bullying influence and gravitate to the positive influence of those that are feminine. After all violent mother traits are much less than violent strong male personalities.

So a child looks for comfort instead of discipline and petting instead of work and punishment and some will gravitate to the feminine side of life, it's simply easier for these children to become effeminate and appear fragile than to man up and take the blows of being a boy.

Simple avoidance behavior expressed through learning….

      • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

HD..that whole line of thinking might apply to about 5%..the rest of that line of thinking.. is complete bullshit.

        • obewanspeaks obewanspeaks

An example of..toxic pollution load…dumped 24/7 everywhere worldwide.

Freshwater male fish exposed to chemicals in water becoming more feminine

          • True obewan but less than 1 percent of fish are known to be hermaphrodite (and waterborne animals are the canary in the coalmine for toxins as their exposure through living in water is 1000's to one more toxin absorption than a land animal).

The child percentages? Not even close so this is a behavioral thing not a toxic or genetic thing…

Children are easily influenced as witnessed by the meth epidemic, they will even snort pool cleaner if available and their peers are doing it.

And after a while they're brain chemistry is changed in ways that is unchangeable and they are forever drug addicts.

So wearing a dress and acting like a girl is a influence thing, it is NOT a genetic disorder as some would have you believe.

      • Call it what you want but at least 80 percent of it is a way to avoid the pain of a dominating father or bullying peers by removing themselves from the current pattern of their abusive environment…

By thinking you will be treated like a girl a more fragile person with different standards and expectations these kids think they will avoid the pain of being boys and adopt the privileges of being a girl.

This is a mental thing, not a physical or chemical thing at first.

But the young mind can reprogram itself to adapt and will over time adopt some chemical changes in the brain (much like a drug addict) that are unchangeable after a short time…

A addict will change his or her brain chemistry in unchangeable ways over time and will always be addicted to opium or meth.

Same for children that want to be effeminate and it is as unnatural as a drug addiction, it's a attention addiction based on safety or some other psychological need…

The only way to combat these problems early in life is with strong and reasonable parenting.

In other words, don't blame it on plastic. Blame it on a coping problem and environmental issues with peers and parents, then take the responsible steps to resolve these mental and emotional issues before his brain changes and it's too late to fix it.

Diet also plays a huge part as with anything else, but the major problem will be social, not dietary…

You are. Free within the laws of nature.

Except that the human condition has bee manipulated into submissive survival for most of the seven billion.

Any attempt to escape is against the law.

                • Well Jeb when you go and buy a car you can't afford by signing a contract knowing full well you aggreed to do something you can't do ,you enslaved yourself, back in the day we called that restraint, now people make excuses about making those decisions, we call that denial.

It's always easier to blame others for your own decisions but if you are honest you won't sign that paper because you know, a child man enslaves themselves and blames others, a real man doesn't commit to a high priced thing because they already know better through honest decision making.

Hence the housing crash, dishonest people figured they could just walk away and dishonest realtors were paid in full before the first payment was made.

Wanna really be free? Be and stay free from debt!!!!

                  That's a choice, not a conspiracy…

A truly honest person is honest with himself above all and won't allow themselves to be sucked into a huge debt.

Why? Because a honest man knows he has to do what he said he would do regardless of what everybody else does…

                • Jebus Jebus

I say get a fucking clue.

The primary physical threat to this cherished life on the planet Earth right now, is nuclear.

Whether by land, sea, or sky, nuclear is the thousand year curse upon this land.

Whether by dollar, politician, lobbiest, or general, nuclear is what will end these childhood memories.

It is everything that drives this madness of righteousness.

All the pharmaceuticals ever into the sea pale in comparison to the nuclear threat.

It is the one threat that is seemingly permanent.

While the rest babble on about their childhood…

                  • "The primary physical threat to this cherished life on the planet Earth right now, is nuclear"

                    ABSOLUTELY TRUE JEB!!!!

And denial is why we are here…

Keep em running, we can't afford to shut em down is the lie!!!!

Convert every single light bulb (that's all of them from streetlights on down) in america to LED and we will save more power than all the nuke plants in the world produce!!!!

And you are the one that brought it (childhood) up in the first place Jeb…

Just a little more denial peeking through from you by your own posts…

                    • FaunaLord q

Hmm, unless I'm mistaken I sense you wanted to say something more about the light bulbs and LEDs there.

                    • Jebus Jebus

I did, because denial is blaming your woes and your gender on your upbringing.

I thought you said we could not go all electric cars and such because we would need more electricity…

                    • My gender? Borne with it…

Denial? Don't have any (or any reason to have any).

                      Heterosexual? You bet ya!!!

Excuses for that fact? Nope I'm all man and always have been.

Woes? Everybody's got em, it's how you handle them that determines who you are, copping out doesn't work, no matter how you choose to do it.

                    • "Hmm, unless I'm mistaken I sense you wanted to say something more about the light bulbs and LEDs there"

Yes!!!! LED's are the way to make light (subsidize the clean manufacture and sale of these items).

The latest AC/Heating units are 1 10th as energy consumptive (subsidize the clean manufacture and sale of these items).

New electric motors are 1 10'th as energy consumptive (subsidize the clean manufacture and sale of these items).

LED TV's? 1 10th as energy consumptive (subsidize the clean manufacture and sale of these items).

Refrigerators made today are 1 10th as energy consumptive (subsidize the clean manufacture and sale of these items).

There it is in a nutshell for power consumption and although spoken in general terms (not a perfect representation), after these conversions you could do away with the current grid and create grids that work and use 1 10th the power and therefore produce 1 10th the pollution even burning coal for backup with wind, solar and natgas backups using jet engines for the boilers that can be throttled up and down on demand…

That math works and I don't care if you are one that's making millions in the power industry, it's undeniable fact.

                    • FaunaLord q

Well, that was more of a reply than I was expecting. I gotta ask though, what about those who consider LED light by itself to by pollution and a cause of oxidative stress, due to the imbalanced blue light dominance?

                    • Well jebus a unit of energy is a unit of energy on matter where that energy comes from…

So if 1/3rd of the energy used (actually more than that) is derived from fossile fuels whyere doi you propose that energy would come from with electric cars? The power grid that is already on the verge of collapse from the electric power used now? Whith gas and desil taking 1/3rd of the load as we speak?

Wow reminds me of a simple math problem…

Imagine the oil, natgas and electric comedies as a apple pie, You have 6 people and 3 slices of pie to eat, then take oil out of the equation, now you have 4 people and 2 slices of pie to eat every day…

What do you think would happen?

And that's not to even mention that the electric grid is hanging by a tread as we speak from overload under the current aging system.

So where is that electric power going to come from while you sit around on the side of the road and wait for your car to charge for a hour every 150 miles?

Electric cars? Ridiculous waste of time, money and electricity we simply don't have….

                    • FaunaLord q

"Electric cars? Ridiculous waste of time, money and electricity we simply don't have…."

Hey I'm not a Musk fan, but I seriously don't think that holds true, thought I do think electrical cars are highly impractical depending on where you are, and utility has in some cases taken a back seat to trendiness.

                    • FaunaLord q

Yeah my typing aint getting better, sorry abotu that.

                    • "Yeah my typing aint getting better, sorry abotu that"

Mine neither Q… got distracted and didn't proofread but the cool thing is this is a blog and the message should be understood, that's the truly important part right?

Now electric cars are like skittles they may be fun but they are not a part of real world nutrition…

A electric car is a nice toy but cannot and will not anytime soon be able to be used a transport with any range or reliability regardless of the pretty packaging and marketing…

                      The pie is simple…

With petroleum accounting for 37+ percent of total energy expended in the us alone it is by far the number one energy source on the planet…

Electric cars are WAY more consumptive and inefficient mile for mile and energy unit per energy unit and there is NO WAY to replace 37+ percent of energy used with electric power, it's simply not possible. And it won't be possible anytime in the near future.

So the whole electric car thing sounds good on paper but is in fact a paper castle of slant put out by those seeking subsidies.

It's simple math, that energy has to come from somewhere and electric power for transportation is by far the most ineffective way to provide energy for transportation.

If you want a tomato to cost 9 dollars and be old before it even gets to the store study electric cars and trucks..

                    • If you want to run out of electric car power while taking your wife to the hospital, get a electric car.

If you want to proliferate nuclear as a electric power source all over again, get a electric car.

If you want the world to slip into another global depression, get a electric car.

If you want to dispose of all the gas powered cars and trucks and pollute the entire world with the metal and chemical trash produced by these inventions going obsolete all at once, get a electric car.

I took an electrical engineering graduate free online class from Stanford University a few years ago on Solar energy.

We already have the technical capability from solar alone to create 4 times the total need for energy the entire world needs from solar energy alone.

That doesn't even count the energy also possible from wind power, hydro, wave, and geothermal, etc.

If a person has solar energy they are producing energy for their car.

Also, with no need for a huge electric power grid, no one can wipe out a whole country with an EMP bomb or a natural occurring solar flare, etc.

National energy independence and individual energy independence means freedom from tyrrany.

                    • "with no need for a huge electric power grid, no one can wipe out a whole country with an EMP bomb or a natural occurring solar flare, etc"

Yep it's a real national security problem no matter what country you live in.

Texas is the leader in this one…

Wind and solar and they disconected from the national grid several years ago…

The transmission of electric power over long distances is the killer of efficiency!

Small modual power plants are the key! Don't even try to transmit electric power over long distances! Use solar with small nat gas / propane generators for even distribution on small scales to achieve efficiency.

The problem is even distribution for reliability, this one (major problem) has not been figured out yet.

Let's subsidize these projects instead of a proposed nuclear poison factory that never even get's built.

And hydrogen from a water generator will substantially increase gas mileage to 60 or so miles per gallon (if you can keep from stepping too hard on the pedal as you leave the stoplight).

Problem is the electrolyte (baking soda?) that must be in the water tank to cause the split of H and O and these elements dirty up the system requiring constant maintenance.

                    • Once we are over that hurdle we can use a very small amount of fossil fuel to start the reaction and create the heat required (like the choke on a current engine) and then run almost exclusively on plain minerilized water…

And the cool part is sea water would be already mineralized (electrolytes) and with the correct filters installed we could use plain seawater to power a next generation car so this crap about sea rise should also also cured…

What's the pollutants? Crap trapped in the filters would have to be properly disposed of, the only other pollutants would be? Take a guess? Water vapor and the components from the few minuets it took for the car to heat up on fossil fuel…

So electrolysis, sea water and filtration? Start the car on petrol and mix after warm…

Most proposed water-fuelled cars rely on some form of electrolysis to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen and then recombine them to release energy; however, because the energy required to separate the elements will always be at least as great as the useful energy released, this cannot be used to produce net energy.[6][7]

Make em right and keep the manufacturing process clean, there are no burns or pollution there as far as I know…

… So seawater already has the power to be easily divided into hy and 0…

Based on the atomic properties of water, 1 kg of hydrogen gas requires about 2.4 gallons of water as feedstock. In one year, 60 billion kilograms of hydrogen would require 143 billion gallons of fresh, distilled water. This number is similar to the amount of water required for refining an equivalent amount of petroleum (about 1-2.5 gallons of water per gallon of gasoline).

The biggest increase in water usage would come from indirect water requirements, specifically as a cooling fluid for the electricity needed to supply the energy that electrolysis requires. Since electrolysis is likely to use existing infrastructure, it would pull from the grid and therefore depend on thermoelectric processes.

At 100% efficiency, electrolysis would require close to 40 kWh per kilogram of hydrogen—a number derived from the higher heating value of hydrogen, a physical property. However, today’s systems have an efficiency of about 60-70%, with the DOE’s future target at 75%.

Code, I just got here, but didn't know the answer, so I looked it up:

A)Kirchhoff's junction rule is based on the conservation of energy. B)At any junction point in a circuit, the sum of all the currents entering the junction must equal the sum of all the currents leaving the junction.

                    • What?????

                      First kinda…

"Based on the atomic properties of water, 1 kg of hydrogen gas requires about 2.4 gallons of water as feedstock"

                      That would be really inefficient…

"At 100% efficiency, electrolysis would require close to 40 kWh per kilogram of hydrogen—a number derived from the higher heating value of hydrogen, a physical property. However, today’s systems have an efficiency of about 60-70%, with the DOE’s future target at 75"

                      Hey guess what…

Salt water splits before pure h2o, how bout them apples…

And it's stillunder the same rules of actual energy…

It's energy in and energy out (1+1-1=0)…

With enough electrolytes the reaction takes very little in a engine after being brought to operating temp (190-200F).

The moral of the story is there is no lubricants left to keep the machine rotating…

Lead is a heavy metal and is a lubricant.

Impurities in gasoline lubricate the cylinders so they can operate…

Hydrogen burns without any negligible wastes…

Therefore there are no lubricants in the burning of hydrogen so what are ya gonna do?

Put a synthetic lubricant in the mix that ends children's lives to keep it lubricated?

Like most nuclear wastes, man made super lubricants end children's lives and we just can't put up with that…

                      …and won't.

Pure water conducts an electric current very poorly and, for this reason, is difficult (slow) to electrolyze. Usually however, some salts will be added or present in tap and ground waters which will be sufficient to allow electrolysis to proceed at a significant rate. However such salts, and particularly chloride ions, may then undergo redox reactions at an electrode. These side reactions both reduce the efficiency of the electrolysis reactions (above) and produce new solutes. Other electrolytic reactions may occur at the electrodes so producing further solutes and gases. In addition, these solutes may react together to produce other materials. Together the side reactions are complex and this complexity increases somewhat when the voltage applied to the cell is greater than that required by the above reactions and processes. The likely reactions within the electrode compartments are described below.

Anne, be aware that if you say you took a graduate electrical engineering course at Stanford and you dont know Kirchoffs most basic law, people will be disinclined to believe you are telling the truth. The same goes for not knowing the four laws of thermodynamics, or even that one law is called the zeroth law, after you claim to have taken classes in it. You seem to not know a great deal considering the PhD title.
Theres no shame in not knowing, but those who claim to know yet dont know may be called on it. In those cases its of value to have taken courses on how to back peddle

I said it was a free online class. I got 100% on all the problem sets, but I didn't take the final because I got mixed up on the last time possible on the last date we could take the final. Lots of people in the free online class around the world didn't pass the final. I didn't take it for credit.

I don't keep using this information, so even though I am a mathematician, I have methods for doing problems in my passive memory and not my active memory. We got to take as many tries to the problems as we needed to get the right answer. So I recognize the rule after I look it up. Of course, you can't do problems without knowing the rules. Also there were posters who helped us somewhat with the problems.

Stanford has the records of me taking the class.

A combination of conservation, efficiency, wind and solar can meet 100% of our energy needs. It’s technically and economically possible to do this and it can probably be done within 20 years. According to a January 2006 analysis by the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the entire U.S. electricity demand could technically be met by renewable energy resources by 2020 and longer term, the potential of domestic renewable resources is huge – more than 85 times current U.S. energy use. Solar alone can provide 55 times our current energy use. Wind can provide 6 times our current energy use.9…”

Never said that… What I did say was the way to the brain is through the buttox…

You would think it would be through the ears after they are closer to the brain than the buttox but it just doesn't seem to be the case (proven time and again). Or ya coukd grow up without one and wind up in prison…

                    But that's just a myth.

                    As the Bible says…

                    Proverbs 13:1-25
1Wise children pay attention when their parents correct them, but arrogant people never admit they are wrong.

2Good people will be rewarded for what they say, but those who are deceitful are hungry for violence.

3 Be careful what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself.

4No matter how much a lazy person may want something, he will never get it. A hard worker will get everything he wants.

5Honest people hate lies, but the words of wicked people are shameful and disgraceful.
6Righteousness protects the innocent; wickedness is the downfall of sinners.

7Some people pretend to be rich, but have nothing. ……

And if the timing ( as short as possible after the "mistake" and respecting age ) and action is right , and the dose "inflicted" correct , not over , not under , no distractions going on , a few times is enough to realise the existence of structure/border

(where it is not allowed to experiment freely /seek their own path by instinct alone)

you wont let them pass by (for their own but also everybody's good , that they don't realise yet) , stay connected as "the wiser that loves them" with the child during the "correction" and it will sense your motiv/honesty..(and later the rationality ) the better/JUST that is , the easier the internalisation..lose it and be in chaos yourself and you inflict nothing but trauma/chaos/mistrust/resistence..chaos can also mean acting from the own ego or trauma or helplessness or ignorance/propaganda , instead of from justness/maturity/wisdom etc

My point is the child will pick up and TRUST on your intonation/bodylanguage when you signal it is approaching the border/structure and will pay attention Much faster..and it will significantly lower the need to repeat physical punishement..

Four Horsemen – Feature Documentary – Official Version

"There is enough for everybody's needs , but not enough for everybody's greed" brings you FOUR HORSEMEN – an award winning independent feature documentary which lifts the lid on how the world really works. As we will never return to 'business as usual' 23 international thinkers, government advisors and Wall Street money-men break their silence and explain how to establish a moral and just society. FOUR HORSEMEN is free from mainstream media propaganda — the film doesn't bash bankers, criticise politicians or get involved in conspiracy theories. It ignites the debate about how to usher a new economic paradigm into the world which would dramatically improve the quality of life for billions.
"It's Inside Job with bells on, and a frequently compelling thesis thanks to Ashcroft's crack team of talking heads — economists, whistleblowers and Noam Chomsky, all talking with candour and clarity." – Total Film "Four Horsemen is a breathtakingly composed jeremiad against the folly of Neo-classical economics and the threats it represents to all we should hold dear." – Harold Crooks, The Corporation (Co-Director) Surviving Progress (Co-Director/Co-Writer)

German Government Drafts "Orwellian Nightmare" Plan To Spy On All Digital Devices

Germany's Interior Ministry is challenging the NSA for the title of world's most Orwellian intelligence agency.

According to Russia Today, Thomas de Maizière, Germany’s interior minister, wants to create secret backdoor access to computers, phones and even Volkswagens – a plan that critics are slamming as an "Orwellian nightmare". Maiziere plans to argue in favor of what he's calling “the legal duty for third parties to allow for secret surveillance” during an interior ministry conference in Leipzig next week. De Maizière's proposal would “dramatically extend” the state’s powers to spy on its citizens, according to the RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland (RND) report.

If signed into law, de Maiziere’s proposal would allow German security services to spy on any device connected to the internet. Tech companies would be compelled to provide the state with backdoor access to most digital consumer devices, including private tablets, computers and even televisions and cars. However, German authorities would need the authorization of a judge before tapping into a compromised consumer device.

'North Korean nuclear tests sickening residents with 'ghost disease,' defectors say'

"North Koreans who defected but once lived near a nuclear testing site in the rogue nation now believe they are experiencing the dangerous effects of exposure to harmful radiation — and it's triggered severe health problems, according to a report published Sunday.

"So many people died we began calling it 'ghost disease,'" Lee Jeong Hwa, who in 2010 escaped her home in Kilju County where the nuclear testing site Punggye-ri is located, told NBC News. "We thought we were dying because we were poor and we ate badly. Now we know it was the radiation."

Lee isn’t the only defector who believes the radiation is taking its toll on people who lived there.

South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reported in November that close to two dozen defectors said the area surrounding Punggye-ri is turning into a “wasteland” where vegetation is dying and babies are born with deformities…"

Trump Administration Decides Not to Require Mining Companies to Pay for Clean-Up

The Environmental Protection Agency announced Friday that it would not uphold an Obama-era rule requiring hard-rock mining companies to pay to clean up their mines.

The regulation forced companies that mine for non-coal minerals including gold, copper, and lead to bear the financial responsibility for cleaning up any abandoned mines—a cost that often falls to the federal government if the companies declare bankruptcy.

Republicans sided with representatives of the mining industry, who claimed the increased regulation was redundant, according to a report from the Hill.

National Mining Association President Hal Quinn championed the decision, saying, "Today's action shows that reason can prevail."

"…Electronic currency is ALREADY the bulk of the money supply. When you deposit $100 in a bank, it lends out $90 from your deposit and your bank statement still reflects you have $100. However, the person who borrowed the money now has $90 in their account. The government did not “print” money to cover that extra $90, rather they just created “electronic” money.
So what is the big thing about cryptocurrencies? The idea is that it is money that will not depreciate and is strangely not “fiat.” Yet, it is no different than the electronic money created by the bank, which is also outside the strict domain of government.
If you just look at the price of Bitcoin, it demonstrates that this is merely a speculative boom indistinguishable from the Dot.COM Bubble, which also reflected a new era in technology. If Bitcoin was truly an alternative currency that was supposed to retain its value, the mere fact that the rice has soared like any stock proves that it is by no means a “store of wealth” that somehow is better than currency in which it must still be converted to use in the bulk of the economy.

If the power grid failed, everyone would be broke. You could not even buy food. Society would revert immediately back to barter. There are risks to any form of electronic money be it a bank or crypto…"

'The Trump Tax Cut, the Pass-Through, & Multinationals'

"…While the Trump Tax Reform will certainly not benefit the rich, the critics who simply argue the national debt will rise are just arguing nonsense. The national debt will continually rise because there is NEVER a balanced budget and there is NEVER any intent to ever pay off the debt. Up to now, the benefits go to the rich who donate big bucks to both parties and never to small business who do not lobby or to the average person. This is a much fairer way of dealing with the issues and of course, the Democrats will vote against it simply because they like the high taxes and handout tax exceptions behind the curtain for donations and law revisions like Hillary promising the bankers the moon."

I'm not really interested in psychiatry. And, no, I don't have respect for some of the methods studies have used to formulate theories. I don't believe in exploiting people under any circumstances.

I only read the theories to learn out to confront the attacks I receive on this website. I've never taken a psychology class in my life and I have no intention of ever taking one.

I'm only on this website to try to stop nuclear energy. Posters post many interesting links that are informative and I have learned much information.

That's what I am, an old lady. But I've spent my entire life taking classes. Also, as a Christian, stewardship of God's earth and his children is my responsibility and priority.

My parents sent me to Stanford when I was 16 to study math and physics. But after my fiance dumped me and told me math is a waste of time, I changed my major to Modern European Literature. Alas, my choice led to a life of poverty.

Hey Anne, I took a psychiatry and philosophy class online, sure maybe I cheated and maybe it was garbage anyway, but as a narcissist, I have to give you a lesson or two.

Ok so, there's nothing inherently wrong with being narcissistic (most people are, if you haven't noticed), especially psychologists, psychiatrists and what that's the fucking word…cognoscente? I don't fucking remember.

But the thing is, let'say you take a narcissist, and everybody knows that person a narcissist, but that narcissist doesn't necessarily do particularly malicious stuff. What's the problem?

On the other hand, if you look at some prominent "philantropic" and "social" attempts , with less obvious narcissism, often, not only will you find narcissism, but sociopathy and malice. This of course then is often promoted in society and not considered a problem.

But since August a year ago, I'm being stalked everywhere I go by the same person as the poster who posts under different monikers. I have to walk because I can't afford to drive my car. Today I went the the library because I had library books to return. I was stalked. He was walking the opposite direction and passed me only one foot or 1 and one half feet away. This poster/stalker just lives 1/2 block from me. Another poster said about him that he is a real control freak and will stalk a person forever. At the time I didn't realize that the poster was posting under more than one name. So I avoided the person's website.

I have to walk to get to my church. I really need and want to be at church where I've known people for almost 50 years.

“Coconut Oil Is Excellent for Oral Health

“Coconut oil is a powerful inhibitor of a large variety of pathogenic organisms, from viruses to bacteria to protozoa, largely due to its naturally high lauric acid content. Your body converts lauric acid into monolaurin, a monoglyceride that can destroy lipid-coated viruses — including herpes, influenza and measles — as well as gram-negative bacteria and protozoa.

“Researchers in Ireland found that coconut oil treated with enzymes (in a process similar to digestion) strongly inhibits the growth of most Streptococcus bacteria strains; microbes commonly found in your mouth can lead to plaque buildup, cavities and gum disease. This included Streptococcus mutans, the acid-producing bacterium identified as a major cause of tooth decay.13

“While the product used in this study was a special enzyme-treated formulation, natural organic coconut oil can have similarly beneficial effects. Not only can you create your own toothpaste from coconut oil, baking soda and natural, unprocessed salt, you can also use coconut oil for oil pulling.

    “Oil Pulling Explained

“Oil pulling14 is a practice dating back thousands of years, having its origins in Ayurvedic medicine.

We have this very ironic word (well, quite a few actually) in afrikaans.

Someone like Dude would be able to recognize it, we often use it in reference to militant or religious hypocrisy. The word literally translates to hypocrisy, but it is a compound word, derived from the words "shine" and "holy", "skyn" and "heilig". With the attempted social and cultural protestant institutional indoctrination, I am intimately familiar with this concept.

    • DUDe DUDe

In dutch its "schijnheilig" , never realised when you split it up it means indeed literally "shineholy" , but the meaning of the word is hypocritic , fakeholyness..fakeness..

"schijnt" ..we also use to say for example , "de zon schijnt" meaning the sun radiates light , warmth etc

      So , we can conclude lol.."schijnheilig" means..radiating fake holyness..hypocrisy..

The truth is that Trump and his family will reap enormous benefits from this bill, saving billions of dollars and growing their fortunes on the backs of ordinary taxpayers. Republican tax reform is just another way in which the party ran a scam in the 2016 election, promising one set of policies to voters then delivering just the opposite once in office. It’s a smash and grab of public funds for private gain….

“Upper-income tax cuts are the raison d’etre of the modern Republican Party. The prospect of passing a bill like this is precisely why Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell stuck with Donald Trump through the campaign, tolerating his racism and misogyny, looking past his history of fraud and sexual assault. It’s why, in the first year of his presidency, Republicans have kept their heads down, backing Trump despite his corruption, racist demagoguery, and dangerously unhinged rhetoric….”

"Apocalyptic" Melting Transpires in Antarctica as Earth Wraps Up a Scorching Year

And as usual, climate impacts on the human front are glaring. A recent study published in the Lancet showed how ACD is already damaging the health of millions of people around the world every year. Pollution, diseases and heat waves, all linked to ACD, are the primary drivers of the health impacts.

On the topic of ACD's human impacts, some rare good news comes from New Zealand, where the government is considering creating a visa category to assist in relocating people from low-lying Pacific islands being submerged by rising seas. If this occurs, New Zealand will be the first country to create a visa for ACD refugees.

Demonstrating how ACD-fueled extreme weather events are hammering the economy, 2017 is on track to be one of the most expensive years ever recorded for the insurance industry in the US. In fact, the strain is evident for the entire global economy: There is currently a global protection gap (difference in how much insurance money is actually available and what is needed) of $1.7 trillion, the majority of which is being covered by civil society and governments.

NY Mag reports that in his zeal to hand out some incentives to senators like Susan Collins, he had to offset them with revenue.

How better to fix that than to reinstate the corporate Alternative Minimum Tax, which provides that corporations shall pay 20 percent of their income no matter what? Well, the problem is that they lowered the regular corporate tax rate to 20 percent.

Companies can either take no deductions, and pay a 20 percent rate — or take lots of deductions … and pay a 20 percent rate.

US labor productivity rose 3.0% QoQ in Q3, the biggest rise since Q3 2014.

                  Great news, right?

Not so much, as the rise in productivity comes at the expense of the wages of the American worker who saw unit labor costs (wages) decline 0.2% (against expectations of a 0.2% gain) – down for 2 straight quarters for the first time since 2014.

Real compensation declined 1.1% YoY – falling for the fourth straight quarter…

What caught my eye was the nearly 1 trillion being pumped into the economic system from the government retirement payments and that 62 million might not be in the work force right now.

Every day 10,000 retire and that is 300,000 per month and that goes on for about the next 15 years..unless many of them die over the next 15 years.

There is allot of money out with robots coming ..not so much.

The GOP Tax Plan Is Igniting a Movement for a Moral Economy

While Republicans may succeed in scoring a short-term win for their donors, their tax plan is sparking a new moral movement against inequality.

This moral abomination is already igniting a firestorm across the country. Over the past two weeks, protests have erupted at 50 universities and in least 100 cities, while nearly 50 people have been arrested on Capitol Hill.

And whether or not President Trump achieves his goal of signing this tax deal into law by the end of the year, this fight is just beginning.

On December 4, prominent faith leaders announced plans for one of the largest waves of civil disobedience in U.S. history. Dubbed the “Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival,” this effort will mark the 50th anniversary of a similar initiative in 1968 that was undercut by the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King.

The campaign co-chairs, the Rev. Liz Theoharis and the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II, are determined to pick up the baton from King and other 1960s leaders. They’ve called the Republican tax plan “an act of gross violence against America’s poor.” But this is just one of the motivations.

“We are witnessing an emboldened attack on the poor and an exacerbation of systemic racism, ecological devastation, and the war economy that demands a response,” Rev. Barber said.

Honduras: police refuse to obey government as post-election chaos deepens

All national police will refuse to enforce a curfew after days of deadly violence triggered by allegations of electoral fraud

Honduran police have announced they will refuse to obey orders from the government of the incumbent president, Juan Orlando Hernández, and will remain in their barracks until a political crisis triggered by last Sunday’s contested presidential election has been resolved.

All national police – including elite US-trained units – in the capital, Tegucigalpa, would refuse to enforce a curfew ordered by the government after days of deadly violence triggered by allegations of electoral fraud, a spokesman said on Monday night.

“We want peace, and we will not follow government orders – we’re tired of this,” said the spokesman outside the national police headquarters.

“We aren’t with a political ideology. We can’t keep confronting people, and we don’t want to repress and violate the rights of the Honduran people.”

Crowds of anti-government protesters greeted the announcement with cheers and chanted: “The people united will never be defeated!”

Earlier a member of the Cobras anti-riot squad said: “This is not a strike, this not about salaries or money. It’s that we have family. We are tired. And our job is to give peace and security to the Honduran people, not repress them. We want…

Honduras presidential election: Curfew lifted in some areas after OAS call

Mr Nasralla was leading the official count by five percentage points on the day after vote.

But Mr Hernández began to narrow the gap on the second day of counting, after the electoral court said a computer glitch prevented it from updating results for more than 24 hours.

Angry protesters took to the streets, blocking roads and clashing with police.

At least 11 people were killed in the violence, before the government imposed a night-time curfew last week.

Mr Hernández eventually won by 1.6 percentage points.

On Monday, however, hundreds of members of the Honduran riot police force known as Cobras refused to carry out orders to enforce the curfew.

The head of the OAS observer mission, Jorge Quiroga, renewed calls for the Honduran authorities to carry out a wider rechecking of ballots.

Proper nutrition and positive attitude are key. These tactics can cause stress to people close to you. Though it is also possible to get trapped into this system through loved ones. I could lay down piles of papers and research verifying these facts.

The U.S. is the only 1st world nation on this Earth that does not have a universal or single payer health care system.

What we have is a scam..perpetual and growing in numbers. This nation pays more than any other nation in the world for health care services and has one of the worst records in the world for health care services. Explain that is broken.
