Every year for a single day, we unite the globe demanding solutions to the climate crisis. Join Al Gore, renowned scientists, business leaders and a star-studded cast as we come together to find our voice on the climate crisis. (

But, what if I can't join hypocritical business leaders for just one day every year, as some cheap ass bullshit token gesture? What if I found my own non-popular voice entirely divorced from that fake glamour imposition garbage? I'm just not an Al Gore fan.

I'm not a sober, sane, educated or clever man but 1 24 hour deflective circlejerk of misattribution seems fucking dumb to me. Not only because of the PR attempts, but just, mathematically, it would seem that if you divide 1/365-ish, you're only addressing the problems superficially.

    I read this years ago.

    After The Gold Rush
Unfortunately for Donald and Ivana Trump, all that glittered wasn’t gold. But the reign of New York’s self-created imperial couple isn’t over yet. Donald’s Midas touch may be tarnished, but the banks are still throwing money at him, while Ivana is busy brokering a future of her own. Marie Brenner reports on how the Trumps are still going for it all.
    Sept 1 1990

"It was spring, four years ago. Donald and Ivana Trump were seated at opposite ends of their long Sheraton table in Mrs. Marjorie Merriweather Post’s former dining room. They were posed in imperial style, as if they were a king and queen. They were at the height of their ride, and it was plenty glorious. Trump was seen on the news shows offering his services to negotiate with the Russians."

    "Story at-a-glance
Rather than cracking down on the prescription opioids that are the root of the opioid epidemic, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is going after a natural plant called kratom
Leaves from the kratom tree have been used for pain relief for hundreds of years, and it has become an increasingly popular opioid alternative in the U.S.
The American Kratom Association (AKA) states the FDA’s public health advisory “contains numerous unsubstantiated and inaccurate statements … and therefore must be rescinded immediately” "

I'm currently quite reliant on codeine, as it metabolizes into morphine or something. It also doesn't make me super aggro, in the "I WANT TO KILL EVERYTHING" sense, I read that's more fentanyl, flakka, krokodil, meth sort of territory. Choose the lesser evil, choose actual opium.

"(Bloomberg View) — "California Regulates Cow Farts," is how a New York Post headline put it, implying it was a wacky move by Governor Jerry Brown. In fact, California's methane law represents a serious attempt by America's biggest dairy state to come to grips with a potent greenhouse gas…Its law limiting methane emissions on dairy farms was passed last year but does not mandate any action before 2024. In the meantime, the state is trying to persuade hundreds of big dairy farms to install contraptions known as methane digesters.

These are basically heavy, lagoon-covering tarps that trap the gas. They can be expensive to install and maintain, but the state is offering grants to help defray the cost, funded with money from its cap-and-trade program. Farmers who use digesters are also allowed to sell carbon offsets or, if their methane is used in fuel, fuel credits."

"The most recent of these investigations, based on unearthed historical documents, found the sugar industry buried evidence from the 1960s that linked sugar consumption to heart disease and cancer.

The research didn’t see the light of day again until Cristin E. Kearns, assistant professor at UCSF School of Dentistry, discovered caches of internal industry documents stashed in the archives at several universities. The unearthing of these documents has resulted in three separate papers showing how the industry has systematically misled the public and public health officials about the dangers of sugar.

Emails obtained by Freedom of Information Act requests have also revealed Coca-Cola’s corporate plan to counter dietary warnings against soda consumption — tactics that include reshaping existing data and creating new studies, working with scientific organizations and influencing policymakers.1 All in all, the evidence clearly reveals that the food industry has but one chief aim, and that is to make money, no matter what the cost to human health."

"The purpose of the global spy network would be to circumvent the “Deep State,” a term widely used to describe long-time officials within the government who seemingly possess a political agenda meant to undermine an administration. Trump has repeatedly claimed, with no evidence, that such an underground group exists and has worked against him since he took office earlier this year.

The proposal of a private clandestine network appeared rooted in distrust the current administration had for the intelligence community. Top political donors to Trump were reportedly asked to help finance operations before any agreement was reached.

“Pompeo can’t trust the CIA bureaucracy, so we need to create this thing that reports just directly to him,” a former senior U.S. intelligence official with “firsthand knowledge” of the proposal told The Intercept."

China pips US in race to start the world’s first meltdown-proof nuclear power plant

China has 20 nuclear power plants under construction, more than any other country on earth. With Sanmen, the industry is hoping to get the nod to build more reactors at home, and even export the AP1000 technology.

At a small peninsula facing the East China Sea in Sanmen county in Zhejiang province sits the world’s most advanced nuclear reactor, and China’s clarion call to the clean energy industry.

Some day over the next two weeks, the power plant will start loading more than 100 fuel assemblies into the honeycomb core of its AP1000 reactor with a pair of robotic arms, people at the site said.

      • Thanks DUDe for letting me of light…we have an amazing thing called language and writing and such to where cussing really isn't needed. I know better, it is bad for one's health. But to the larger issue of the 90%, if the mob ever does loose it, it will be very ugly but worth it, I am not a fan of violence, I do think though that if everyone just quit what they are doing and stood still and were very quiet for a long time the message might then be very clear, we have had enough. Just quit being a cog in that wheel of enslavement and death you speak of. Everyone across the globe, at the same time, on the same day. Just stop the wheel. I dream of this, I pray for this. I am delusional :-)))

I wish it was different..believe matter what i say or feel today..i was not born like this..i don't want to have to be selfcontrolled enraged all the time..its no life..but there is this omnipresent tumor in species..and its by choice/ a few..enabled by the continuation of the same strategy of focussing wealth to the same few..their kind..their sickness..

This dynamic needs to be destroyed at all cost's..NOTHING else can be fixed before that is done..imo

            • I am in agreement with you, I too have a problem with this focus on the self. Because I have it in the worst way I try very hard to not employ the ego. Which makes it hard for me to see realities as others do. I am delusional in that if I can do it for me then others ought be be able too. Thus I wish, I dream but know in my heart of hearts it can never be. All I have to do is read the news, we have shit in our pants and we stink. I don't want it to be ugly but it is and the result will be our destruction via the 6th extinction, in less than 9 years according to some. All due to ego, IMHO.

Why are America's farmers killing themselves in record numbers?

The suicide rate for farmers is more than double that of veterans. Former farmer Debbie Weingarten gives an insider’s perspective on farm life – and how to help

Last year, a study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that people working in agriculture – including farmers, farm laborers, ranchers, fishers, and lumber harvesters – take their lives at a rate higher than any other occupation. The data suggested that the suicide rate for agricultural workers in 17 states was nearly five times higher compared with that in the general population.

After the study was released, Newsweek reported that the suicide death rate for farmers was more than double that of military veterans. This, however, could be an underestimate, as the data collected skipped several major agricultural states, including Iowa. Rosmann and other experts add that the farmer suicide rate might be higher, because an unknown number of farmers disguise their suicides as farm accidents.

The US farmer suicide crisis echoes a much larger farmer suicide crisis happening globally: an Australian farmer dies by suicide every four days; in the UK, one farmer a week takes his or her own life; in France, one farmer dies by suicide every two days; in India, more than 270,000 farmers have died by suicide since 1995.

suicide and farmers…sheesh, what a wordy article. Their theory; the drive that makes a farmer successful is the same that exacerbates failure, sometimes to the point of suicide.
social isolation, potential for financial losses, barriers to and unwillingness to seek mental health services and a shotgun at the ready.

How about poisoned with chemicals, pushed out by big agribiz? How about finances falsely drained by the money game of economics? That means, too many leaches. Dont forget, the farmer is usually part of the 80% that shares 7% of the countries wealth.

Agreed, there should probably be some voluntary limits to population growth.

If people were given alternatives to subsistence farming and taught methods of producing food that were more sustainable (and I HATE using that cliche word), there would not be as much need for so many hands to help tend the land. So having so many children would not be considered desirable or necessary.

Using birth control methods is probably advisable.

Given we have such high levels of background radiation and contaminants now, am also wondering what kind of fertility rates, live births, and healthy offspring there will be in the future.

I dont ascribe to the Feudian definition of ego. Although his may be useful in some contexts. He saw the Id, Ego and Superego.

I see individuation, the attachment to a persona and self concept, often in context to society but actually in context to ones viewpoint in the universe as being primary and overriding. This ego thing may even be larger than the bounds of a corporeal incarnation. But its easy to see that the senses (sight, hearing, kinesthetics, taste etc) define the powerful limits of individuation. Self vs the rest of the maelstrom. Self reflection is perhaps an outgrowth…as when many animals recognize themselves in a mirror.

the faculty of perception itself leads to ego…and some would draw a parallel to the fanciful biblical stories of the original sin; perception breaks the unified whole into the myriad of opposites or contrasts…the pandoras box of time space and cause and effect. So thats another way of looking at ego

                    • DUDe DUDe

Ego has been made a big deal, but it's simply the Latin word for "I". Read that Freud wasn't a nice guy…there's a poem about him somewhere, could have been in a book by Jung.

Thanks dude. I fucking never liked Freud. Jung otoh, I dunno… I feel (possibly mistakenly) that he was different.

Its my impression Jung is a bit marginalized in the "official" scene..he must have had an open mind..or something..

                    • I had a Bio or Auto-bio of Jung years ago, lost it along the way…he and Freud could not be in the same room after years of having meetings together…Jung could make Freud pass-out or collapse just be looking at him, Jung felt that the reason why was because he knew Freud was full of B/S and could call him out on it.

Report: Trump's Real Estate Holdings Have At Least $650 Million in Debt
    (08/20/16 )

It appears that GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, typically a fan the huge and dissolute, has been minimizing public perception of his debt.

A New York Times investigation published on Saturday reveals that U.S.-based real estate companies owned by Trump are at least $650 million in debt. Only half this amount was disclosed in the public F.E.C. filings Trump completed in order to run for president.

    • I have often thought that was how trump was to pay-off his debt(s). By running for Prez, letting them help him win so he could tear down aumerika to it's knee's. Russia is a master puppet master.

      • DUDe DUDe

        Not so fast..;)

Some funny truth's on a timeline about murica's propaganda machine re Russia after this intro in the link..

        December 7
Cold War Number One: 70 Years of Daily National Stupidity; Cold War Number Two: Still in Its Youth, But Just as Stupid

Putin later added that he knew “absolutely nothing” about Russian contacts with Trump campaign officials. “They can do what they want, looking for some sensation. But there are no sensations.”

Numerous US intelligence agencies have said otherwise. Former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, responded to Trump’s remarks by declaring: “The president was given clear and indisputable evidence that Russia interfered in the election.”

As we’ll see below, there isn’t too much of the “clear and indisputable” stuff. And this of course is the same James Clapper who made an admittedly false statement to Congress in March 2013, when he responded, “No, sir” and “not wittingly” to a question about whether the National Security Agency was collecting “any type of data at all” on millions of Americans. Lies don’t usually come in any size larger than that.

Virtually every member of Congress who has publicly stated a position on the issue has criticized Russia for interfering in the 2016 American presidential election. And it would be very difficult to find a member of the mainstream media which has questioned this thesis.

The Republican crime syndicate takes control
As with other criminal organizations, the Republican Party’s purpose is to pillage and plunder America

The U.S. Capital has in fact become one big crime scene. Take, for example, the Environmental Protection Agency, which in one short year has reversed decades of progress in improving environmental conditions across the United States.

Under the GOP-led EPA, mining companies are now permitted to dump tailings into America’s rivers and streams unchecked. These tailings are loaded with lead, arsenic and other toxic minerals — some radioactive.

Similarly, the EPA has all but eliminated restrictions on coal ash storage. This allows toxic coal ash to be stored without oversight in close proximity to U.S. waterways and population centers.

These are but two of over forty actions taken by the EPA aimed at doing away with environmental regulation and regulatory oversight. Make America Polluted Again!

And this of course is before the outright repudiation of the whole concept of global warming, which involved the muzzling of hundreds of concerned government scientists and the rejection of the Paris Climate Accord.

3 Ps – Raping, pillaging and plundering

This environmental agenda is a pay-off to Republican donors in the extraction, materials and utilities industries, who use their wealth and influence to violate the American landscape.

from Heart's link "Colorado health officials on Wednesday ignored state scientists and delayed for two years a decision on a mining giant’s push to weaken statewide limits on molybdenum pollution of streams, including a creek flowing into Dillon Reservoir, Denver’s drinking water supply.

Denver Water contends that Climax Molybdenum’s campaign to jack up molybdenum pollution limits 43 times higher than at present could cost ratepayers up to $600 million for expansion of a water treatment plant."

          Full article here..

Climax officials have relied on rat studies the company helped fund in asking CDPHE water-quality control commissioners to change the statewide limit for molybdenum in streams used for domestic water to 9,000 parts per billion, up from the current limit of 210 ppb. Climax also is asking the commissioners to raise molybdenum limits for waterways used for agricultural irrigation to 1,000 ppb from 160 ppb.

“Denver Water’s current position is that the molybdenum limit should be based on scientific evidence. While Climax Molybdenum Company has presented scientific studies in support of its proposed standard, the studies fail to account for the effect high molybdenum concentrations will have on individuals with a copper deficiency,” Chesney said. “Because we do not know how high molybdenum concentrations will affect people with copper deficiencies, and EPA has not modified the Human Health Advisory for molybdenum to correspond with Climax’s proposed standard, the (state water quality control) commission should decline to increase the molybdenum standard to the level proposed by Climax.”

which was closed for 25 years and reopened in 2012. This led to elevated molybdenum pollution at levels up to 2,500 ppb, 10 times higher than the current statewide limit. The “temporary modification” granted by CDPHE water commissioners, and extended this year, allows this elevated…

What Life Is Like For A Million People In Puerto Rico Who Still Don't Have Power

If you ever wondered what it would look like if the grid collapsed here on the mainland, the island of Puerto Rico is a tragic, real-life case study.

According to a website showing the status of utilities on the island, four months after two hurricanes wrought havoc, 32% of Puerto Ricans are still without power and nearly 10% are still without running water. However, even those who have running water must boil it.

But statistics don’t tell the real story…cont

    'Trump & Taxes'

"…Governments around the globe borrow every single year with absolutely no intention of ever paying off their national debts. So what is the difference? If you think giving the money back to the people is wrong and it is better going out the back door for political contributions, then sorry, I oppose that.
There is no “conservative” v “liberal” when it comes to the debt. They all spend more than they take in and nobody cares about paying off the debts. So I do not care what political persuasion you are, we will end up at the same place when the dice stop rolling. BROKE!
I support cutting income taxes to ZERO. The government should just create the money it needs to cover its expenses. Let’s get real here! All national debts, including Germany, show that on average 70% of the debt is just accumulative interest. So that is money out the back-door…
…The first country that wakes up and abolishes income taxes will blow everyone else out of the water. All they have to do is say they will adopt the way the United States became great. There were only indirect taxes between 1792 and 1913. If the nation survived with no income taxes, we can do it again and let the people spend their own money. You will see massive job creation and governments will spot competing with the private sector to borrow money."

Bill Clinton to Netanyahu: “Who the fuck does he think he is?”

Joe Lockhart, the White House spokesman during the Clinton administration, declared that Netanyahu was “one of the most obnoxious individuals you're going to come into – just a liar and a cheat. He could open his mouth and you could have no confidence that anything that came out of it was the truth."

Netanyahu was never revered by any US president in recent memory. Sure, they smiled, laughed, and even joked in public with the mad man in Tel Aviv. But no one was able to say nice things to King Bibi because he never kept his word, lied constantly, and always tried to manipulate US presidents—both past and present.

So when Bill Clinton met the much-debated Netanyahu in the summer of 1996, Netanyahu tried to pull him over the Zionist position. Netanyahu, as usual, attempted to do his Talmudic magic on Clinton, but this time it didn’t seem to work. Clinton responded with outrage:

“Who the fuck does he think he is? Who’s the fucking superpower here?”[1]

200,000 Forced to Evacuate Uncontrollable Wildfires in Southern California

In California, nearly 200,000 people have been forced to evacuate as drought-fueled wildfires tear across Southern California. Climate experts say the intensity of the winter blazes is linked to climate change. The fires caused the intermittent shutdown of the 101 and 405 freeways. Nearly 150,000 acres have been scorched so far by the fires. Authorities have warned residents to stay inside because of the dangerous air quality caused by smoke and cancerous ash from the fires. But a number of farms have stayed open, sparking concerns that farmworkers are laboring in hazardous conditions without proper equipment. On Wednesday, volunteers handing out free protective masks to farmworkers say they were kicked off some farms, despite the fact that the pickers were asking for the safety equipment.

“…First, the science of ‘Signal Trasduction’ focuses upon the bio-chemical pathways by which cells respond to environmental cues. Environmental signals engage cytoplasmic processes that can alter gene expression and thereby control cell fate, influence cell movement, control cell survival, or even sentence a cell to death. Signal transduction science recognizes that the fate and behavior of an organism is directly linked to its perception of the environment to simple terms, the character of our life is based upon how we perceive it.

‘Second, the new science of ‘Epigenetics’, which literally means ‘control above the genes’, has completely upended our conventional understanding of genetic control. Epigenetics is the science of how environmental signals select, modify, and regulate gene activity. This new awareness reveals that the activity of our genes is constantly being modified in response to life experiences. Which again emphasizes that our perceptions of life shape our biology…” (p. xv]

It sounded to me that Trump said “united church”, which is NWO speak to substitute a universal fake religion for Christianity [which is not a religion] and all religions in the world.

Although Lipton is an advocate for this universal fake religion, that does not invalidate the biology he explains.

'Utah ‘Monument’ Was a Reward to a Clinton Donor (Guest Post)'

"The shrinking in size of two national monuments in Utah by President Trump through executive order was a long overdue rebuke to federal land grabs that have given federal control to vast swaths of American land, particularly in the West. As the New York Times noted in 2016:

The United States government owns 47 percent of all land in the West. In some states, including Oregon, Utah and Nevada, the majority of land is owned by the federal government. Of course, it used to own nearly all of it…
East of the Mississippi…the federal government owns only 4 percent of land.

Part of that discrepancy is to due the vagaries of the Western expansion into the sparely populated frontier. Part of it is due to the desires of environmentalists to turn America into a save-the-earth postcard – take pictures and don’t touch. President Trump, who has unlocked much of America’s resources that were formerly held hostage by greenies and others, has decided to return to the people of Utah control of and decision-making power over the land of Utah, so you no longer need permission from a Beltway bureaucrat to pick up a rock and move it one foot to the left…"

There was but a bar, gas station and a closed down roller-rink in Sedona, you could drink the water and eat the fish from Oak Creek. Now the air in Phoenix is unfit for humans. Oak Creek is full of fecal material. The west is a very fragile environment that few understand. It is quite possible to drive on a dirt track one year go back the next year and see that track has been turned into a gully due to erosion. This once paradise has been run-over by human encroachment, abuse and neglect. The native grass lands surrounding Chino Valley has grass up to your knees, due to over grazing it's gone, never to return. Moving a rock a foot has destroyed the west.

      • razzz razzz

My kids grew up living in Oak Creek across the bridge from the general store. One time where a pad was being prepared for a house or mobile home the blasters set off a charge that knocked down a rock formation a half mile away on the opposite side of the canyon (looked like a huge spinning top made out of red rock, fell right over) from the blast wave traveling up and down the narrow canyon.

Since then Mount Wilson burned to the ground. Hiked the creek and mountains there a lot back in the day.

Problem is, no enforcement or oversight of building codes. Sedona town council is pretty much a joke paid off by developers.

wait, do we want government in charge or Darwinist capitalist developers? Thought for sure it was the second?

Sedona is a rare beauty. In my utopian vision, people would have enough sense to keep it pristine, because after all, once you ruin it, then its not good anymore. That logic doesnt make sense to most people.

I would make the whole thing a park. People can live on the outskirts. Only bikes and electric vehicles or horses would get people around.

And whats with the fee? Its an insult! The place was far better before there was a fee involved. Leave it alone, then you dont need to charge a fee to try and keep it as good as it was, which they cant do.

The Indians were right a long time ago; white man puts up fences and charges a fee just to be on mother earth. Theyre actually proud of it

          • Code…it's way too late, it once was paradise, now it's Paradise Lost, all of AZ is…you know that, you been everywhere I have, seen the same vista's, smelled the same air, remember what Prescott smelled like? or Flagstaff? or the Verde River? AZ was once Clean, Phoenix with the citrus in bloom or in the summer heat and the onion fields…gawd how I miss AZ…Superior is a ghost town waiting to catch fire with all the empty falling down buildings and trash everywhere, with all the pass through traffic on hwy 60 it's just a matter of time…sorry to rant, old and tired and the morphine doesn't work like it used to…

            • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

phoenix had two great smells; orange blossoms and chaparral during a rain. Actually we had stock yards and sometimes it would stink. Now it smells like laundry detergent and burnt greasy onions.

People dont realize we are living on a dead planet. In 1813 naturalist John James Audubon describes some of the life which heaved and billowed across the land “The air was literally filled with Pigeons; the light of noon-day was obscured as by an eclipse; the dung fell in spots, not unlike melting flakes of snow,” Audubon wrote. Spellbound by “the extreme beauty of their aerial evolutions” that undulated like “the coils of a gigantic serpent,” …the numbers were staggering. The avian cloud took three days to pass overhead.

              • there are the remains of an old orchard off of Maryland and 20th st that has the sweetest oranges I've ever eaten…as a kid I raised pigeons, has 50 birds at one point, they are magic, a joy, so misunderstood, one of the few creatures that can recognize itself in a mirror, had one hand tamed a few years ago, lots of fun and boy oh boy are they good to eat yum yum 🙂

bleeding heart greenies getting in the way of exploitation.

We agree on one thing…theres something wrong with a huge swath of humanity and its thinking/feeling process.

That government ownership thing also sucks…bureau of land management has the power to exploit and we covered this, going back to the powerful rail men.

White man is a scourge upon the earth…and all men have become 'white man'

      thus the earth was lost

'they'll be callin' you a cannibal'

      • Back in the late 70's I bought some property north of Chino Valley. I bought everything but the mineral and water rights. The mineral rights were owned by Burlington Northern Railroad and the state of AZ owned the water rights. All because I lived within a mile of a rail track. B/N owns a mile on either side of the track. A 2 mile right of way.

Finicum tried to explain it, but few could hear, even less understand

        So we killed him.

        • Not quite who I had in mind…here's a page on an old friend of mine, the last of his breed if you wanna talk cowboys…

          • Yep and punchin cows has a real history…

            Here's one now…

Farmer John had a bull and left him out to punch cows all day, day after day…

Farmer John liked the bull and the bull liked farmer john…

Then came the day when farmer John had to put the bull into a stall.

The bull desided he didn't like farmer John anymore and ran away…

Farmer John chased the bull as he had to be put up before the fence could be worked on, but the bull decided to charge farmer John…

So farmer john got a big heavy piece of chain and knocked the bull out and then used the chain to hook to his tractor and the bullhorns and dragged the bull back to the barn while scraping him over the vegetables he just planted…

The moral to the story? Never tangle with a bull unless you have a chain and a tractor…

            I give that one 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 out of 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hamas Leader Calls For Third Intifada Following Trump's "Declaration Of War"

Yesterday, President Trump officially announced his “new approach” to the Israel-Palestine conflict that, which instead of bringing peace to the region like he repeatedly promised during the campaign, appears poised to trigger the most destructive periods of Israeli vs Palestinian violence since 2005.

Early Thursday, the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, which recently relinquished absolute administrative control of Gaza but remains incredibly popular in what some have described as “the world’s largest open-air prison”, called for a third intifada – or uprising – against the Israelis to protest Trump’s violation of the “Status Quo”.

For nearly three centuries, the three major Abrahamic religions had an understanding that the nine Holy Sites in and around Jerusalem are subject to a policy of de facto neutrality. But by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital – and promising to legitimize that declaration by moving the US embassy – Trump has upset this order. The Israelis have long claimed all of Jerusalem as their capital, while Palestinians hope to claim East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state.

Speaking in Gaza on Thursday, Hamas' leader Ismail Haniyeh said, "We should call for and we should work on launching an intifada in the face of the Zionist enemy." He also said, "We want the uprising to last and continue to let Trump and the occupation regret this…

  • In this great big (small) world we live in…

…the enemy is dishonesty with ones self.

Be it for personal, financial, and even just for plain ego reasons…

The do without's (like me) do have a breaking point, but the good do not resort to violence…

Seems to not be a quick enough response and we need constructive plans to eliminate and stop (put a halt too) pollution and violence sometimes…

Broad terms that really speak volumes…

I get my new Polimaster Dosimeter today and as soon as I get to the mainland next month on my new life time RV adventure, I'm gonna strap the Polimaster under the belly of my soon to buy Bullterrier dog companion, and when I take him for walks/runs/exploring I'll keep check and record how contaminated the States are becoming including; water, food, eating utensils, etc. because as we all ENE know, most all products are made from re-cycled trash…ones mans trash profit is a thousand mans deaths in this day and age…just Becquerel collecting sayin'

      • Lime and filtering techniques can help not only the fish but you tooo obewan.

Get with the program, if you are finding tumors in your wildlife, you'll find em in you eventually. Proven facts…

So by filtering (and being VERY careful with the old filters) you not only help the environment, you also help yourselves.

The truth is that animal cancers also reflect (almost 100 percent) the cancer rates of their owners.

1 in how many? That's 1 in how many of you too…

Obe, maybe this would help at least a little.

Calcium carbonate is used to buffer water and raise pH in aquaculture operations.

You might try buffering the water in your pond with it – change the pH a bit at a time. It might do your fish good to have slightly more alkaline water in their pond.

The Ca Carbonate is good for the fish. Think natural chalk, and all the ancient sea creatures that make it up.

        • HoTaters HoTaters

Hmmn, I might also add some zeolite to my tank – inside a filter perhaps. Just not micro particles that can get washed around inside the pond.

Sorry to hear about your fish.

The fish did nothing to deserve this.
