The FACT is that there is almost no sanitary living conditions afforeded to the common man/woman, there is a plethora of reason's that children are born deformed in those region's of the world. And, last but not least, never have I ever known of children of OUR military being born with other than average/ratio/ birth defect's! I could go on and on but, as I'm sure you are aware, my word's are limited. Just saying!

My only son and one of my daughter's have done numerous tour's in both Iraq and Afghanistan from the beginning until the present day and are due for future deployment's, and, they both have been blessed with 2 stuningly beautiful, perfectly normal babies each, and, both their spouses are/were military/deployed vets.. So yes I would say positive thought is good, why? because we live and learn from our past mistakes. Mind over matter work's wonder's. Try it some time, you will also find videos on youtube of the good OUR troops have and still are doing in those lands that time seems to have forgotten.

Welcome! I completely understand where you are coming from. I was very much in your position one year ago, and would never suspect anything like that would be possible.
It took a lot of reading and research over the past year to wake me up to a lot of things I had no idea about.

NATO also uses DU during their test flights on the island of Sardegna, Italy. They have a huge military area which NATO states can rent to test their ammo. Cancer cases are skyhigh…

@WATK… There is little that can be done now to stop the mass deaths – the path has been laid in place for years and will take many years to undo.. probably too late.
What I do is donate to animal activist groups. Help enenews and the AA groups – when you see a WWF ad or similar here on enenews, click it and donate. That way the site gets a benefit and you are helping a worthwhile cause.
To be honest, I think it's beyond time to go militant against the mob.corp.guv – they will not listen to tree huggers. But a baseball bat may get them out of the way.

Thanks, Richard. Donating to support groups you feel are doing a good job in efforts to save our animals is a good idea, as well as volunteering for them.
Being a pacifist, however, I would personally not condone any sort of violence. Violence only begets more violence. The vicious cycle never seems to end.
The cycle of violence must be broken, through peaceful means and yes, Love…something I believe our world sorely needs more of, as I strongly believe those so quick to violence have lacked this vital, basic need in their lives. If they truly felt loved and loving towards others, I doubt they would chose a path of violence.
I look forward to the day our next Ghandi appears to lead the way to a non-violent solution to a peaceful, equitable and more loving future for the inhabitants of our world, both human and animals alike.

Thanks for your reply, Richard. I understand where you are coming from, but I must respectfully continue to believe that violent actions only beget more violence.
I have nothing against peaceful protests. I also believe we have laws which we can use to bring criminals to justice. I believe people should be held accountable for their actions, so though I'm a pacifist, I am not suggesting one looks the other way and allowing criminals to get away with criminal behavior.
In the case of the protesters who staved off further slaughter of the dolphins. I say good for them, as long as they did not act in a violent manner.
However, don't think for one minute the dolphin slaughterers aren't plotting their next move, given the challenge they confronted by the protesters. So instead of stopping them permanently, which a new law could do if properly enforced, the protesters will most likely find themselves stuck in the same M.O. having to continually try and block the dolphin hunters until somebody realizes there's got to be a better, lawful way to get the slaughterers to stop.
Two wrongs never make a right, so if two groups are committing violent acts, no matter in the name of what just cause, they still will never be justified in their actions.
Look at the ugly cycle of retribution for "wrongs done to my people" that has played out for countless millenia in places like the Middle East.

It's time we moved beyond such thinking and evolve to a place where we learn to identify ourselves with our fellow human beings and see the potential for goodness in each of us.
If we can see that "they" are just like "us," on the most basic human level, with fears, hopes, needs which are similar, and at the most basic of all, we all need to love and be loved.
I can think of no higher pursuit than to continually strive to see the humanity in each other, to understand where each is coming from, and to try to show love, kindness, empathy and respect to each other.
Love is the answer, as cliche as it may sound. Not ashamed to sound "naive" if that is how some may perceive it…Not one bit.

Thanks for the link, Dr. Fox. I watched the video (has seen excerpts from it before). Very disturbing to know there is so much nuclear waste that has been dumped in our oceans by so many gvts.
It's hard to know what exactly is causing all of these mass die-offs. Could be a combination of factors (blunt trauma from either sonic testing, HAARP-like weapons, radiation-induced sicknesses due to weakened immune systems from radiation exposure, or virulent forms of viruses and bacteria and fungi which have mutated due to radiation exposure.)
I remember seeing a video on YouTube when I first learned about HAARP and EMP weapons, which showed similar burns/blunt force trauma on a mass die off of dolphins in the Persian Gulf (I think it was there, or somewhere in the Middle East.) The video showed a huge beam of electricity (like a huge focused lightening rod) aimed down into the waters where these dolphins had subsequently died. Too sad for words.
This latest story about the dolphins and birds in Peru dying reminded me of that video. You can probably find it by searching on YouTube for "HAARP."

Interesting, Anne. I had done a bit of research the other day into Mitsui. Did you know that Misui Chemicals in Japan, where the fire and explosions were, is partly owned (approx. 4%) by Mitsui Industries International?
Did you know that Mitsui Industries is being sued by the U.S. gvt. along with Halliburton and BP for their part in the Gulf of Mexico fiasco?
Just thought it was strange that those two companies were connected, and Mitsui Chemicals had those explosions which someone said they thought had started by a wierd lightening strike? Or was that refuted subsequently?

TY, WATKids. I didn't know there were involved with the Gulf oil spill. I seriously doubt that the explosions were caused by a lightening strike. I sort of remember that one of the first news reports said that they were trying to close down the plant because of a malfunction in another plant. I think they were experimenting trying to separate out Cesium from nuclear waste, or something like that.

I can remember reading that the bomb dropped on Japan offered a huge surprise for the USA. They had imagined that many would be killed in the great explosion of the bomb and when the numbers came in low…. then they got another surprise that the population was dying in great numbers from the fallout.
So the question was not build a bigger bomb…bigger explosion it was to control the poison the the bomb left behind…that would be the power of the bomb….then if you controlled the weather you could control the fallout and control which populations would be negativly effected.
I think that was part of HAARPS another was the discovery that frequencies like lasers (light organization) can be manipulated and used secretly.

My roommate's best friend and wife are leaving for Hawaii on Sat.
Beach house, flippers, snorkle,…carry on's, nothing else. My roommate didn't say a thing to his friends about Fuku. I told him what I thought of that.
The next day he had a big talk with his friend about it.
